Xiaowen Cao: Terrible experience at this place. They lost my package and the response I received was “I don’t know what happened” after waiting for 15+ min. While waiting for the assistant looking for my package, I heard the lady next to me received responses like “there won’t be anything you can do; I don’t know; maybe it’s in California, I have no idea”. The attitude of working staff at this place is just terrible. I would avoid this place as far as I have another option!

I take lunch from 1-2, and since you didn't arrive by 2, there's no possible way to get your application completed before my 2:15 appointment"I was shocked and amazed. Again, like pointing at the clock, my phone, my paperwork completed...and going "why is this even happening? I took off work, had it planned and came fully prepared""Well, you see, it clearly states you need to show up 5-10min beforehand. So now it's 2:05pm and I will miss my appointment with the next customer if I take you."We kinda went back and forth like that until about 2:10 when I said the obvious, that his 2:15 customer was also late so therefore he would not take them. And then I made a point that if he was on lunch until 2pm, it's impossible to be 10min early. I was, he just wouldn't open the door.It's really sickening my salary pays for that piece of garbage to do what he "does" which is clearly nothing.We went down the street to a walk in at a different usps location, got excellent customer service and I was in and out in 20mins....AND there was a family of 4 in front of me.I'll be leaving that usps a 5star review.Don't waste your time with an appt. If you do, make sure you're 10min early and don't pick the 2pm slot

DeAnna Palazzolo: Twice I've had packages of live insects die because they were delivered to my house instead of being held at the post office. Both of which had bold stickers saying "LIVE INSECTS" which that alone means they shouldn't have left the post office, but the second package (I was reimbursed because the others died) says in two places "HOLD AT POST OFFICE".Not sure how to order insects to my house now as I can't trust them to be held at the post office and I don't want to pay for a PO box. If you have something that you need to stay at the post office for pickup good luck.

MARY HUNTER: They can never get mail hold correct. I always have to scramble to find a neighbor to go get my unscheduled delivered mail picked up. Why even offer if you can't get it right? Then you can't even get them to answer to get it corrected. I even called them to alert them to a mail hold instead of only doing it online. Very rude to me on the phone.
Moon Sol: The African American woman at the front desk is short with customers. I heard her tell a non native English speaker that she couldn’t understand what they were saying and she didn’t try to understand nor did she try to help them. She shooed them off and another woman had to take care of them. Absolute disgraceful. She is disrespectful and impatient. Even with me she was impatient. If you come here be prepared for an unpleasant interaction. She is miserable.

Kathy Foresta: I live near this location and try my hardest to avoid any interaction with the women at the counter. They seem to loathe their jobs as well as all of the customers, and use any opportunity to degrade, belittle and generally make known that everyone is an inconvenience to them. Today, I overheard one of the ladies telling a non-native, English speaking gentleman that he was in America now because she couldn’t understand him. It’s a shame - everyone is short -staffed so I’m sure nothing will be done but if you hate interacting with the public, how about doing us all a favor and working in the back???
Lindsey Call: Place was super crowded, line out the door, but the two women working the front were patient and kind as they worked through everyone’s needs. And one gentleman (possibly named Tony?) was cracking jokes and helped me tape up my box when there wasn’t any tape to be found. Mailing stuff can be annoying, but they made it so much better.

Y muy agradecidaAfter they canceled my appointment at new bern ave they called me and let me go to this place without an appointment so it was I read some reviews of people who said you had to get up early so it was 6am and I got the 5th place they start to give some Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis so get up early if you want to be one of the first! The person who was helping was very kind, he started to process the passports at 9am when they started at 10:15, it was very kind of him to attend us before the time, I finished everything in 4 hours from 6am to 10am with the person I was only 5 minutes Please be patient that only 1 person was doing everything, he also ensures that he brings everything he needs and the application without errors, that will make it easier for you and the person who does everything. By the way, in the place they do not have bathrooms and the signal of your phone is terrible in that place… good luck! and very grateful

Jay Lay: Website says it's open 10:15am to 6:00pm. Arrived at 9, there is already a long line. Takes ~ 20 minutes per person, wait 5.5 hours and they say they are leaving at 2:30pm. "Come back another day".If this were a private business, they would be out of business. I can't wait until the government runs our healthcare. This place makes the DMV feel like a resort.My advice...start getting your passport 12 months before you need it, because you're going to spend several mind numbing days at this office.

AndieGlam TV: This place just makes the process so difficult for no reason. The employers automatically have attitudes when they pull the blinds back. This time around the people waiting decided to number ourselves in the order that we arrived to make it easier for them and they pretty much ignored it. So many people walked out of line because they told them they would have to wait hours to get a picture but we saw them taking pictures of other people. They don’t have Wi-Fi, some people were having trouble accessing their accounts bc there’s no service. They had a lady walking through the line making sure applications were okay before getting to the counter just for there to still be a line of people who were turned away at the counter for a mistake. Don’t expect customer service here. Make sure everything is already perfect and ready to process and don’t have any questions. They’re not customer service agents, more like robots.
Shanmukha Bollapragada: My appointment in chapel Hill Post office was cancelled and I was told to walk in to this location. There were 8 people in front of me and a few appointments in the middle , but the line was moving quickly enough and agent was really moving efficiently. We got our work done in approximately 2 hrs. Overall this location is very convenient as they accept walk ins and fast enough.
Alyssa McGill: As much effort as I put into planning and making sure I had all the documentation in order, I still fell short by forgetting some of it at home. But what could have been a super stressful situation was helped enormously by Joe who was patient and pleasant. It took a few tries but we got mine and my kids' passports squared away--a huge relief in light of the work and school missed to make it happen. I never thought I could write a five-star review for a government agency but Joe accomplished this singlehandedly and I appreciated his efforts very much.

John Brown: We need to lobby for Patricia to be in charge of the entire Department of State (and Post Office)!I arrived about 9:30 and joined about 30 people already in line waiting for the 10:15 open. Prior to opening Patricia gave us all a quick overview and how to make it as smooth as possible. At 10:15 there was one person processing and Patricia helping get the first couple people in line ready. There was only 1 person with an appointment, the rest of us were walk-ins. If you want to be first you probably need to arrive about 8am.There were 3 of us doing renewals and had our DS-82 form ready, picture, passport and blank check. She pulled us out of the long line and got each of us ready. It pays to have your form 100% correct and printed using the online form-filler. She'll tell you the correct amount for the check and what to write where. She'll also attach your picture correctly and verify everything is ready. We put them in our "expedited" labeled envelope and were sent to the post office area to pay for the envelope/shipping. Off-the-record expectation for a passport renewal return is 2-3 weeks (as of Feb 7 2023).I was out of there about 11:05 - avoiding a multi-hour long line. I think there were a total of 3 people processing when I left.Patricia is incredible. Her positive attitude and willingness to help and keep things moving in the face of so many impatient people, with questions and issues is saintly. Without her this would be a 1-star (not enough people, unorganized process, etc). With her this is a 4.5 star!
Claire L.: This location was a life-saver after my passport appointment was cancelled day of at the Chapel Hill Post Office. It was fairly busy walking in at 11 a.m. on a Thursday and I had to wait for a little over an hour. However, everyone was kind and processes seemed as efficient as possible. I witnessed employees help several people with getting the correct forms, photo copying IDs and birth certificates, and taking photos on-site. This does not happen at every location, trust me!
Mimi22: Had the worst experience dealing with “KEVIN”. This human being should not be given a chance to work or interact with people. Incredibly rude, disrespectful, doesn’t want to do his job. He literally said I can’t sit if I am next in line to be called. I have to stand up or he will call the next person. I think this place in general has no accountability structure and stuff get to do whatever they want, especially this guy (I choose my word loosely) should be ASHAMED OF HIMSELF.

Megan Copeland: I have lived in Holly Springs for 15 years and have always loved this post office....today that changed when a worker threatened to open my package to confirm that I was sending a BOOK using the book rate. NEVER in my life has anything I've mailed ever been questioned. It was beyond rude and unacceptable and though this post office is right down the road from me I will never step foot in it again. Not to mention this was a memorial book of all of dead husband's pictures in it...don't use this post office, find another one to use!

There was no sign of anyone working at the post office. Maybe because it was Columbus Day? How hard would it have been to simply post a sign or two at the front door informing people that the post office was closed? Dennis Barrington: The folks working here work hard and really try and help you as much as they possibly can. The -1 star is just the USPS hours. VERY hard to get here before 4:30pm. And the lines can be long during holidays. But you can't fault the staff. Our mail is delivered from Fuquay Varina's USPS, not here. But I mail out from here and the UPS store. When I DO have to mail from this place, while there is a wait, once I get up there, the staff take their time and treat me really well. Good people. Give them a break and thank them for their service!

Misa S: I had just collected my lunch from H-Mart and was about to open my garage door, when this USPS vehicle made another high-speed approach, making the fourth such occurrence in the past two weeks (nearly every time that I’m out to pick up my lunch) - a pattern that seems far from coincidental.
Drew Vliet: Worst post office I've been to. The only employee there half the time, Angela, needs a new job that doesn't involve interacting with customers. Having to deal with her is a great way to ruin your day
Jennifer Hall: The lady at this post office was unbelievably rude and nasty. I misunderstood something she said and she rolled her eyes and made a smart remark. Why would you do that?!?! People have truly lost the ability to be kind and patient with each other. I ended up going back in to get my package and mail and took it another post office because I didn’t trust her. Just Wow!!!
Amy U: The absolute worst post office. Every employee that I’ve had to deal with here is extremely rude and unhelpful. I apparently used the “wrong” tape (the only one they have available). I needed one small strip to seal the top of a bubble mailer and the employee wouldn’t help. She said I had to buy a single strip of tape for $1.75. Outside of today’s experience, every experience I’ve had here has been horrible. I can deal with waiting and how slow things are, but I can’t deal with rude employees. I went to ups instead and actually got the help I needed.

Ceiling tiles hanging and blackened, holes in the ceiling where water damages seeped through and tiles taped into place with masking task. Gross! I had to leave because my allergies and my son's allergies were triggered. We were inside this building for less than two mins and our eyes starting burning and itching. I feel terrible for the people working in these unsafe conditions. I would be happy to provide pictures if anyone would like them.

I arrived at 8:55 during business hours and stood in a line, waiting for them to open, until 9:15AM. They are supposed to be open at 9AM. This is a government office, and we don't live in a third world country. It should be open when it says it will be, barring some kind of disaster. Based on the other reviews, unfortunately, it sounds like this is not unusual. Because they were closed, I then had to drive to another post office and wait in line 15 minutes again. Ridiculous.

Academy Post Office for 16 years, and am very proud to call it my postal home.Yes, some of the postal clerks come across as stiff, formal & 'can't be bothered to tell you a second time', but that doesn't last long if you get to know them by first name and make them laugh. This takes time, but it will come if you do a lot more listening and observing.Each postal clerk is a person who has many of the same adult responsibilities, heartaches and hourly disasters as you have.Haven't you ever had a work day when your work seemed like a bland routine ? It happens, and the only way through it is just to shift into 'bland mode' which can be seen as aloofness and rudeness.Postal workers not only have to pass grueling Civil Service exams to get their postal jobs in the first place, but they also have executive intelligence way beyond what is required for their jobs, plus have ti maintain their calm while suffering through annoying public for hours on end. This group with executive-like minds have largely been artificially 'placed' in jobs that require the learning and recalling of a huge amt. of USPS data. Add that to sharp minds, and it is entirely possible that bordam has set in.
meniscus70: Drove all the way over here because the post office on Wrenn Ln (which is the worst office on planet Earth btw) had a broken, yes broken self-service package drop. Well this place is stuck in the 1960s, no self-serve kiosk or package drop in the lobby that is accessible after the counter area is closed. This makes two Cary post offices that I have been to just to mail a package and I haven't been able to mail the stupid thing yet.

She also says they only have one employee all the time so waiting times of 30 minutes +++ is absolutely normal.FYI if you want a PO Box and yo through all the trouble of doing everything and paying online, just to go have to wait in line for 40 minutes, don’t give her the satisfaction of rejecting you too!!! Guess what? The online application means NoTHING and she wants you to hand fill out or print out your application or your box reservation means nothing!!!!I honestly will be driving into another town to get actual help and service. This lady clearly hates customers, we’re just a nuisance to her.
DottyLLAMA: The earlier the better. This isn't the only busy post office, i have even tried apex and it is just as busy. You definitely want to plan for plenty of time for the wait because they simply don't have enough workers. I didn't have any issues with the teller from all of my visits so far.

I had to bring the 3yo I nanny with me… & she was so excited to get to see the inside of a post office. The attendant at the front was very rude to us both, and snapped at me when I asked very politely where we could find stamps. She said I would need to buy them up front, and when we walked up to her to do so (totally clueless as to what to do next), she waited while glaring at me & my nanny kid… and then sternly said, “look, lady, I can’t read your mind, what do you need?” She then proceeded to stare me down while I completed my payment process.Very disappointed with this entire interaction… truly just broke my heart, and my nanny kiddo was pretty sad as well. Very sad to see what’s happened with customer service here… we will not be back at this location.
