Xiaowen Cao: Terrible experience at this place. They lost my package and the response I received was “I don’t know what happened” after waiting for 15+ min. While waiting for the assistant looking for my package, I heard the lady next to me received responses like “there won’t be anything you can do; I don’t know; maybe it’s in California, I have no idea”. The attitude of working staff at this place is just terrible. I would avoid this place as far as I have another option!

I take lunch from 1-2, and since you didn't arrive by 2, there's no possible way to get your application completed before my 2:15 appointment"I was shocked and amazed. Again, like pointing at the clock, my phone, my paperwork completed...and going "why is this even happening? I took off work, had it planned and came fully prepared""Well, you see, it clearly states you need to show up 5-10min beforehand. So now it's 2:05pm and I will miss my appointment with the next customer if I take you."We kinda went back and forth like that until about 2:10 when I said the obvious, that his 2:15 customer was also late so therefore he would not take them. And then I made a point that if he was on lunch until 2pm, it's impossible to be 10min early. I was, he just wouldn't open the door.It's really sickening my salary pays for that piece of garbage to do what he "does" which is clearly nothing.We went down the street to a walk in at a different usps location, got excellent customer service and I was in and out in 20mins....AND there was a family of 4 in front of me.I'll be leaving that usps a 5star review.Don't waste your time with an appt. If you do, make sure you're 10min early and don't pick the 2pm slot

DeAnna Palazzolo: Twice I've had packages of live insects die because they were delivered to my house instead of being held at the post office. Both of which had bold stickers saying "LIVE INSECTS" which that alone means they shouldn't have left the post office, but the second package (I was reimbursed because the others died) says in two places "HOLD AT POST OFFICE".Not sure how to order insects to my house now as I can't trust them to be held at the post office and I don't want to pay for a PO box. If you have something that you need to stay at the post office for pickup good luck.

MARY HUNTER: They can never get mail hold correct. I always have to scramble to find a neighbor to go get my unscheduled delivered mail picked up. Why even offer if you can't get it right? Then you can't even get them to answer to get it corrected. I even called them to alert them to a mail hold instead of only doing it online. Very rude to me on the phone.
Moon Sol: The African American woman at the front desk is short with customers. I heard her tell a non native English speaker that she couldn’t understand what they were saying and she didn’t try to understand nor did she try to help them. She shooed them off and another woman had to take care of them. Absolute disgraceful. She is disrespectful and impatient. Even with me she was impatient. If you come here be prepared for an unpleasant interaction. She is miserable.

Kathy Foresta: I live near this location and try my hardest to avoid any interaction with the women at the counter. They seem to loathe their jobs as well as all of the customers, and use any opportunity to degrade, belittle and generally make known that everyone is an inconvenience to them. Today, I overheard one of the ladies telling a non-native, English speaking gentleman that he was in America now because she couldn’t understand him. It’s a shame - everyone is short -staffed so I’m sure nothing will be done but if you hate interacting with the public, how about doing us all a favor and working in the back???
Lindsey Call: Place was super crowded, line out the door, but the two women working the front were patient and kind as they worked through everyone’s needs. And one gentleman (possibly named Tony?) was cracking jokes and helped me tape up my box when there wasn’t any tape to be found. Mailing stuff can be annoying, but they made it so much better.

Misa S: I had just collected my lunch from H-Mart and was about to open my garage door, when this USPS vehicle made another high-speed approach, making the fourth such occurrence in the past two weeks (nearly every time that I’m out to pick up my lunch) - a pattern that seems far from coincidental.
Drew Vliet: Worst post office I've been to. The only employee there half the time, Angela, needs a new job that doesn't involve interacting with customers. Having to deal with her is a great way to ruin your day
Jennifer Hall: The lady at this post office was unbelievably rude and nasty. I misunderstood something she said and she rolled her eyes and made a smart remark. Why would you do that?!?! People have truly lost the ability to be kind and patient with each other. I ended up going back in to get my package and mail and took it another post office because I didn’t trust her. Just Wow!!!
Amy U: The absolute worst post office. Every employee that I’ve had to deal with here is extremely rude and unhelpful. I apparently used the “wrong” tape (the only one they have available). I needed one small strip to seal the top of a bubble mailer and the employee wouldn’t help. She said I had to buy a single strip of tape for $1.75. Outside of today’s experience, every experience I’ve had here has been horrible. I can deal with waiting and how slow things are, but I can’t deal with rude employees. I went to ups instead and actually got the help I needed.
Maryam Mohamed: Incredibly rude staff - go somewhere else. I used the wrong tape (there was no sign specifying) and they were sold out of the right one - so she told me to go home to tape it and come back. I live 30m away. I ended up just sending my package opened.

Ceiling tiles hanging and blackened, holes in the ceiling where water damages seeped through and tiles taped into place with masking task. Gross! I had to leave because my allergies and my son's allergies were triggered. We were inside this building for less than two mins and our eyes starting burning and itching. I feel terrible for the people working in these unsafe conditions. I would be happy to provide pictures if anyone would like them.

Christina H: I would have given more stars if they had been open when they said they would be, and I hadn't lost 30+ minutes of my time for trying to mail my packages. I arrived at 8:55 during business hours and stood in a line, waiting for them to open, until 9:15AM. They are supposed to be open at 9AM. This is a government office, and we don't live in a third world country. It should be open when it says it will be, barring some kind of disaster. Based on the other reviews, unfortunately, it sounds like this is not unusual. Because they were closed, I then had to drive to another post office and wait in line 15 minutes again. Ridiculous.

Academy Post Office for 16 years, and am very proud to call it my postal home.Yes, some of the postal clerks come across as stiff, formal & 'can't be bothered to tell you a second time', but that doesn't last long if you get to know them by first name and make them laugh. This takes time, but it will come if you do a lot more listening and observing.Each postal clerk is a person who has many of the same adult responsibilities, heartaches and hourly disasters as you have.Haven't you ever had a work day when your work seemed like a bland routine ? It happens, and the only way through it is just to shift into 'bland mode' which can be seen as aloofness and rudeness.Postal workers not only have to pass grueling Civil Service exams to get their postal jobs in the first place, but they also have executive intelligence way beyond what is required for their jobs, plus have ti maintain their calm while suffering through annoying public for hours on end. This group with executive-like minds have largely been artificially 'placed' in jobs that require the learning and recalling of a huge amt. of USPS data. Add that to sharp minds, and it is entirely possible that bordam has set in.
meniscus70: Drove all the way over here because the post office on Wrenn Ln (which is the worst office on planet Earth btw) had a broken, yes broken self-service package drop. Well this place is stuck in the 1960s, no self-serve kiosk or package drop in the lobby that is accessible after the counter area is closed. This makes two Cary post offices that I have been to just to mail a package and I haven't been able to mail the stupid thing yet.

Looks like they’re a ways off from retirement though so I guess we’re stuck with them…
Alicia Marie Phillips: I’ve come here twice, twice I’ve had horrible experiences with the single lady that works here. Customer service is not her area. She also says they only have one employee all the time so waiting times of 30 minutes +++ is absolutely normal.FYI if you want a PO Box and yo through all the trouble of doing everything and paying online, just to go have to wait in line for 40 minutes, don’t give her the satisfaction of rejecting you too!!! Guess what? The online application means NoTHING and she wants you to hand fill out or print out your application or your box reservation means nothing!!!!I honestly will be driving into another town to get actual help and service. This lady clearly hates customers, we’re just a nuisance to her.
DottyLLAMA: The earlier the better. This isn't the only busy post office, i have even tried apex and it is just as busy. You definitely want to plan for plenty of time for the wait because they simply don't have enough workers. I didn't have any issues with the teller from all of my visits so far.
Madison Weller: I’m recently engaged and needed to purchase some stamps for our wedding invitations/thank you notes for our shower. I had to bring the 3yo I nanny with me… & she was so excited to get to see the inside of a post office. The attendant at the front was very rude to us both, and snapped at me when I asked very politely where we could find stamps. She said I would need to buy them up front, and when we walked up to her to do so (totally clueless as to what to do next), she waited while glaring at me & my nanny kid… and then sternly said, “look, lady, I can’t read your mind, what do you need?” She then proceeded to stare me down while I completed my payment process.Very disappointed with this entire interaction… truly just broke my heart, and my nanny kiddo was pretty sad as well. Very sad to see what’s happened with customer service here… we will not be back at this location.

Ajit Rana: I got my document notarised and sent to India through them using USPS postal service. Its been more than month still its not received by my brother.So I have sent my document again through USPS main office and it was received within 15 days.I would suggest going directly to USPS office.Also they charge more amount for every kind of mail service.

Don K: I've shipped from this store several times. Typically I would request rate quotes and I got straight forward answers. Yesterday I requested a rate quote and the person answering was very vague in their answer. I was directed toward an option which was $52. I later learned a different option which cost $9 was available. These 2 different options both were for the same package and the same arrival timeframe. For $27, I actually had an option which was faster than either of the 2 previously mentioned. My inquiries were not answered though.

MamitaHel Handmade: So I try to avoid this place because it's alway very busy and the employees aren't super friendly. I had no choice but to use their services today. Must be my lucky day. 1) It was empty and 2) Tracy was working the counter and what a sweetheart she is! She was patient as I tried to figure out my shipping options, and then came after me in the parking lot with my car keys and a big smile. My day started with encountering a rude person and Tracy made me feel better - all because of her kindness.

Lisbi Abraham: I went there today to get a document notarized. The person at the counter wasn't wearing a mask, even though there is a sign on the door requiring masks for customers. And when I asked him if there was a notary on site, he said the notary hadn't been in all week. I asked if they'd be in next week, and he said they come and go as they please and that he didn't know when they'd be in. I asked if calling ahead of time was the best approach, and he said that yes calling and then asking to speak to an owner if they were in would be the best way to get a notary. I don't know why they advertise notary services if they are going to make it so hard to use them. I ended up going to the Goin' Postal store in the next shopping center and was in and out with a notarized document in less than 5 minutes.

john harris peralta: Is there a way to give negative stars? This will be my first and last time using this place. I was at this location on 10 Mar 2023 @ 2:20 pm. The crerks customers service is pretty much close to 0 or non existant. This clerk threw all professionalism out the window. IDK if he couldnt comprehend my question or he just had his head far up his behind, but this young man was disrespectful. If they cant even treat their customer in a professional manner, I cant trust them with my packages.

I’m writing to share my experience I had with PostalAnnex@ 12218 Bradford Green SquareCary. I went to this store to send a document via Fedex, and it also required a mailing label. The clerk charged me $41 for two days shipping. The next day I needed to mail similar sized document again, but this time I went to a Fedex store, it only costed me $11. That’s a huge difference. I went back to the PostalAnnex and questioned the big price difference. The same clerk who waited on me the previous day said” this’s a private company, I can change whatever I wanted .” I was speechless. I didn’t mind to pay higher price for excellent service. But with his rude attitude I just left without any reasoning. I paid “tuition”for my experience, but I don’t want others to have the same fate. Needless to say, I’ll never go back there.

Sam “The Siberian” Kelly: This location used to be great but recently the staff are not helpful and rude, same person past 2 or 3 times.I went in to ask for a label and an envelope for a return letter (to include a single price of paper) that I would pay for and give to the sender later and because I didn't have an actual package and only an envelope they said they cannot Sell me a shipping label even flat rate, and that I should go somewhere else.Thy said I could get that label and put it inside an envelope and then ship to myself the envelope containing the label but I can't just get a label. Makes sense?So il take my buisness elsewhere in the future.
Anne Dirilgen: Big open sign but locked with a sign saying coming back at 3:00 and the guy that works there was sitting in his car right in front of the store playing on his phone. He has terrible customer service and I am done with this store.
Morgan: Customer service is terrible at this location. Also I have gone multiple times during business hours and they are closed without explanation. Highly recommend going to the UPS store down the street.

Alex Maldonado: I walked in with a small item to return and a sturdy envelope, and the man behind the counter gave me an incredibly hard time for using my own package instead of buying one. Then he made me read out a very difficult and long shipping address even though I had the address readily available in large text for him to read. He then did not let me approve the address before printing the label and charging me. When I got my receipt I noticed he made an error in the address, and when I told him he crossed it out in sharpie and rewrote it with a bad pen. Was nasty to me the whole time. Terrible service.
Will Eddy: The front desk white male teenager with an uzi gun on his hat (?) was super rude. I’ve been to great Postal Annex stores. This isn’t one. Goin’ Postal is my store here in Cary.
Yomi Balogun: First and last time customer. Poor customer service with rude staff. I will never spend my money with them again.
Karti Sri: Very bad store and extremely disappointing customer service. The front desk Indian guy lacks basic decency on how to handle the customers. I have been in this area for a long time and never experienced rude and name calling service guy so far in this area. Avoid this place and find other store for sending your packages.
Beth Wilson: I've always found this Postal Annex to be a great place to mail packages but my last visit is especially worth writing about. I arrived at the store at 4:09 and tried opening the locked front door not realizing that closing time is 4 PM on Saturdays. Jackson, a Postal Annex team member, was just inside and he opened the door to let me know they were closed. He asked how he could help and I told him I had a prepaid package to drop off. He asked if I needed it scanned and I told him that I did because I needed a receipt but told him I would come back. Instead, he happily took the package from me, brought it inside, scanned the package then brought me back out a receipt. He had been trying to get the store closed down for the day and I truly appreciated the extra effort and top notch service provided by Jackson!
Blu_Falcon: Went to ship a USPS flat-rate box. Over $12 here.. at an actual post office, it’s $8.40. Why a 50% up-charge? Stop giving your hard-earned money to companies like this.
