Treysheana Ghee: Very clean and quiet. This was a pleasant stay for sure. Guest were not noisy at all. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming as well. The room was nicely done and very comfortable. There is a gym close by, so sometimes at night you can hear there classes going on outside.

SweetCream: I already did my review of this hotel on hotels.com. Overall, the hotel is not bad but the cleaning of the rooms could be better. When it comes to the mattress cover they shouldn't use the one that zips up. I think that's why I didn't have one on my bed. Housekeeping probably didn't won't to go through the hassle of putting it on. It's too time consuming because I had ask for one. When I found out I had to do all of that just to cover the mattress, I just couldn't do. So, I placed it on top and took the fitted sheet over it. It did stay in place. They definitely need to upgrade all mattresses because mines had a big pee stain on it. This is why a mattress pad/cover is so important at a hotel. Also, I think they need to remove all the carpets from the rooms. I will say, the laundry room is definitely clean and refreshing. It is definitely well kept and the front office staff is friendly and helpful.I would recommend this particular extended stay verses some of the others. All I have to say, read the reviews about the other extended stay hotels and go from there. Make your decision and mines would be, to choose this one.

Coach Richie: Do not stay here! Made reservations for 4 nights. In town for work only worked 4 days checked out a day early never got a refund for the 4th night. Happend twice was told it would be credited back. When I called said they had no record of it. CROOCKS.

Shanequa Chesson: The receptionist was amazing and nice. The room was not very clean. It had an odor to it. The bathroom door would not close completely at all and the toilet kept running water. Had to basically fix the issue myself. The pool was closed. Was uncomfortable and did not feel very safe as a female to get there early in the evening and 2 men sitting in a work truck as if they was doing repairs or something, then to leave hours later come back and had to go outside late at night hours later to get my charger and they was still out there looking around etc. the bathroom tub was dirty and had hair in it.

The rooms look big and quite satisfactory. The kitchen was also good there are all necessary items there which you need to cook your food. The housekeeping is provided every other day. An iron rod was also available.Coming to breakfast they have complimentary breakfast in the morning.which is basically American breakfast. There are a lot of options available for breakfast and overall it was good to start your morning. The staff is also well behaved and ready to help you at every moment you need.Laundry is also available on a self payments basis. Basically a coin laundry system. They will provide the detergent and all which you need for laundry.Parking space is also huge so no need to worry about parking. Wifi service was also good.Overall good experience for good stay. Chanchal: We were there for two weeks. Things I like breakfast, behavior of the staff, kitchen and location of the hotel, has a walking trail near by. However, we had some issues in connecting to internet many times, and hotel desk was asking us to coordinate with internet provider. Though all the time they resolved the issues but after calling and waiting for minutes. Floor AC was not working properly, it was noisy. We had to change the room because of no hot water available in bath tub. It has gym, pool and paid laundry, plenty of parking space.

KiKiDStarr: I'm being generous with the 2 stars. When I first arrived the woman that checked us in was so sweet. We had a nice conversation but then the stay went downhill. I booked online a 1 bedroom suite. They gave me a studio. So I went back downstairs to speak with the woman. She not so patiently explained to me that was all they had and that they were an older hotel in the chain and they didn't have 1 bedroom suites. But they still charged me for the 1 bedroom suite. The room was liveable but had a musky odor that they tried to hide with deodorizer. Then the TV didn't work but after talking to the woman at the front desk 3 times I wasn't about to go down for the 4th time. The greatest part of my stay was when they assigned someone else the room I was staying in and a strange man walked in. He was just as shocked as I was. Poor guy. Poor me and my kid. I think we all had heart attacks. Then I pulled out the sofa bed. That was fun. I had to really work for it. Had to move the whole sofa so the bed would open. Did not have furniture mover on my mini vacation bingo card. So, in conclusion, I'm pretty sure there are better places to stay in Cary. Not worth the price.

We'd asked for a ground floor room, and when checking in, they gave us the 5th floor but quickly changed it when we asked. Thinking we should have kept the 5th floor as room 118 was very obviously a pet room as it stunk like crazy. We endured but asked if they could deodorize the rugs on our 2nd day, if they did it, it really didn't help. 118 needs to be gutted, carpets torn up, bathroom door replaced, tub refinished and made from scratch.A fire alarm early Thursday morning was a bit disturbing as well.All of the ladies we encountered were super helpful and friendly but not so much for the young man who checked us out, Gerard (?) He definitely was not service friendly.

SM: I've stayed at this hotel a couple times and absolutely love it. The rooms are big, beds are really comfortable, plenty of hot water. The people at the front desk are so nice and helpful. Especially the young woman that works there. I hate that I can't remember her name, I want to say Zee or something. She went out of her way to come up and fix our TV. Very kind and has a very chill vibe about her. I would recommend this place to everyone. The only thing I would change, would be the bathroom. Not a fan of the double doors. Other than that, great room and great experience each time. I don't know why this place has so many 1 star reviews. No place is perfect, people need to relax.

Spencer B: This was my first stay at a Sonesta and I was very impressed. Natalie checked us in and she was so friendly and professional, there should be more people like her in this world. Anyway, the rooms were impeccably clean, the whole property was spotless. There was a fee for bringing a dog and I understand why, because they actually shampoo the carpet between guests with pets. I'm pretty sure most hotels don't do that. The housekeeping crew were all so nice and welcoming. Finally, the breakfast was a step above the rest, a nice surprise.

Local Seafoodlover: Wonderful unexpected hotel! Had never stayed at a Sonesta before, but it was convenient for our visit to Cary, and one of few with a two-bedroom suite. Very spacious room and a full kitchen which we will take more advantage of next time. The fireplace was an excellent touch especially in the cool weather, and added really nice ambiance throughout the visit. Bed was comfortable enough, and bathroom had ample space. If I had one complaint, it would be the pillows were kind of limp. I like one with good support, but no problem bringing my own next time. Lisa Anderson: The hotel was ok but we experienced too many problems. The room was spacious we liked that. The issues were the toilet overflowed, the telephone didn't work to call to get help, the cable went out for hours, the ice machines didn't work on my floor you have to go hunt down another machine that works. The pool is closed for reconstruction but it doesn't say that in their website only that the hot tub was under reconstruction. The worst part was the rudeness of the manager of the hotel. She acts like she doesn't care about issues we had and her attitude is like whatever. Not going to stay here again just because of her she needs to check into another job not servicing people.

The employee sits around the corner on a cellphone and does not Acknowledge guest leaving. Not sure how that’s defined as customer service. -the room lighting, half the bulbs were missing or flickering… overall, this facility is a last resort. Not recommended for any reason.Food & drinks: Not appetizing AT ALL. All good is simply heated freezer items and all drinks are watered down and have no flavor. Only decent item is the self making waffle section.

Jason Shipp: Comfortable room, nice location. My favorite feature was that room faced back of hotel to west, a screen of trees and on ramp to highway. There was virtually no light and very quiet. Couch hadn’t been cleaned around for a while. There was a t-shirt on floor beside couch, not ours. Pool was nice, water warm. Lower floor walking from pool to elevator smelled bad, like animal feces. Not sure what that was about. Breakfast was okay (instant eggs watery, cinnamon roll old and dry).

Angelina Jackura: Oh where to begin… I actually live in the area, but wanted to book a room for the night for my daughter and I for her 11th birthday because this location has an indoor heated pool (my daughter has battled cancer for a long time and swimming is one of the few activities she can actually do because she cannot walk) The self proclaimed managers, Jaqueline and Shrimp were condescending and extremely unfriendly from the second we walked in. The hotel itself was fine, but while sitting in our room in the office chair, my daughter suddenly fell back after the leg of the chair broke, hitting her head on the floor. When I reported the incident to the staff, they were more concerned about the chair itself than my daughter. Then when we were getting ready to check out (we were told we could do a late check out at 12:00) someone came and knocked at the door. I was in my bra and underwear, so quickly grabbed the first towel I saw which turned out to be a hand towel, so I barely opened the door to see what they wanted and it was Shrimp, asking me why we hadn’t left yet. I told him that we would be leaving at 12, at which point he told me it was 12:20. Turns out the clock in our room was an hour behind. I apologized and told him we would get out asap, at which point he said “if you’re not our by 12:30 I’m calling the police for trespassing. Do you not know how to follow rules????!!!” Throughout the conversation I asked if he could wait so that I could put some clothes on, but he stood there for at least 5 minutes berating me. I cannot tell you how weird the whole encounter was. Needless to say, I felt very uncomfortable. My daughter , who was there to celebrate her birthday, also had to witness the whole ordeal. As we were leaving, I inquired about my $100 deposit, and Jaqueline said “you will be receiving your deposit, not that you deserve it after spilling juice on the sheets. In fact, I’m giving you three minutes to leave the premises or I am calling the police for trespassing.” I keep running the whole experience thru my mind, and I am still thoroughly confused by the events that took place. Not only was there not an apology for my daughter getting injured in their chair on their property, but I was belittled, berated in the nude, and consistently threatened. It’s sad because the hotel itself isn’t bad, but every member of the staff was not only rude, but behaved as if they were the customers.

Stephanie Gagne: Will not stay here again. Pool was way, over chlorinated, our eyes were burning bad! 1st floor smelled of sewer.
