Six Foot Fit: what do users think?
Erin Dufauchard: Six Foot Fit is a great community of people! The workouts are fun, yet challenging and different, never a chance for you to get board and stuck in a routine. There's always a modification even if that means doing a different exercise targeting the same area.Great trainers who get to know you. They encourage and push you to meet the goals you set for yourself. You are missed when you're not in class. You're celebrated when you hit a milestone(s) with your workouts, and when it's your birthday.I have become more confident, stronger, leaner and closer to the goal I set for myself. I have met some great people, made new friends. I look forward to my workouts with my fit fam!Everyone is welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend Six Foot Fit!
Leslie Rowen: Looking for a great workout? A community? The feeling of being back in elementary school recess with your pals everyday? Friends to make eye contact with every time you have to do a burpee? THIS (anti)GYM IS THE ONE!I have never been so consistent, for so long, with any gym or exercise routine. The incredible coaches (who know you by name, are the first to celebrate your wins, and always ready to adjust a workout for you), variety in classes (no workout is ever the same!), LOCATION (every workout is outside, unless it is raining or super cold!), community (Brenna, the head coach & owner, has truly built an incredible group!), and FUN (sounds corny, but truly, these workouts are fun, like being-a-kid-again-fun), are just some of the reasons why I have started every weekday morning at Six Foot Fit for the past six months.Truly truly recommend this gym--and calling it a gym feels like I'm selling it short, because it feels like more than that! Ever since my first class, I have felt welcomed, not just by the coaches, but by the community, too. I have never described myself as athletic, or fit, and never been one to workout frequently, but I feel so at home at Six Foot Fit. That should really say it all!
Jaime Fordham: I found SixFootFit through a referral, and it has been such a wonderful edition to my routine! Brenna and her team do an amazing job with setting a weekly schedule, including strength check ins, and including fun themes for some workouts! They have ensured that classes can be inclusive for anyone at any fitness level, which is hard to find these days. I’m so appreciative of this fitness family, what they stand for, and the great classes!
Kathryn Bradshaw: Finding a workout routine other than just running was always a struggle for me…I didn’t want to have to think about “designing” a workout, I felt stupid at the gym because I wasn’t a gym rat, and with work and kids I was too tired to actually start a routine and stick with it. Insert Six Foot Fit. What I love about Six Foot Fit the most is that no two workouts are ever the same. There’s so much variety that you never have a chance to get bored or feel like it’s monotonous. I don’t have to think about what I’m going to do because that’s done for me…and even better, it’s FUN! You can make this group as much of a family or community as you want…but when you’re there, you’ll cheer each other and have a blast like you’re just hanging out with friends. Couple that with the fresh air and it can’t be beat!
Daisy D: If you are me, you probably feel too intimated by an enclosed Gym. So when I randomly landed on a recommendation of SixFoot on a FB post and then googled to see that this is an outdoor workout I readily gave it a try. All I had to carry was my yoga mat and bottle of water and the rest of the stuff is structured using the beautiful outdoors and also a good variety of Gym essentials that makes you feel tired, exhausted but also so accomplished. Not forgetting the sneakiest but thoroughly entertaining way they incorporate workouts with games and quizzes that makes the workout something to look forward to. Being new to this area, I also came across such an awesome community of members who are so welcoming and motivating. I have been part SixFootFit for almost close to a year now and will continue to be part of this lovely endeavor by Brenna & Karyn.
J de Mello: Six Foot Fit was a lifesaver for me during Covid lockdowns and surges. Working out outside feels so much better than a stuffy sweaty germ-ridden gym! The workouts are fun, creative, intense, and combine cardio, strength, intervals, core, in many different modalities. The group makes it even more fun, because of the camaraderie and encouragement to keep going. There are modifications for all levels of activity and ability. It is so much more than group fitness! It is like a family! Milestones are celebrated, goodbyes, birthdays, number of workouts, etc. Brenna works so hard at keeping the workouts fresh and engaging and fun! The App is fantastic, as it gives you reminders a day and 3 hours and 1 hour before your class! Other group members can invite you to classes. All of these things help motivate me to show up and to keep going. The instructors are all fantastic, and bring different skill sets to the table. I have enjoyed being a member of the Six Foot Fit family. There is no other “anti-gym” like it!
Kate Rhoades: Never the same workout, but always tough and always fun. Trainers work so hard to create an enjoyable and welcoming experience. I'm a religious runner but found running no longer did much for me in terms of managing my weight. I started participating in SFF classes once to twice a week to mix up my workout and noticed an immediate kickstart to my metabolism. Highly recommend!
Valerie Contreras: Six Foot Fit has become such an important part of my routine. Class is always different which keeps it interesting and fun and best of all- the people are so friendly and supportive! The instructors provide a positive and happy environment and I really appreciate that!
Jaymie Pompeo: I love Six Foot Fit! Last year, I was searching for a new fitness place. There's plenty in this area to choose from, but none really felt like a fit.Six Foot Fit appeared on my social media, and I was intrigued that it was an outdoor workout. I decided to try it and haven't looked back.Being outside first thing in the morning energizes me. The workouts are always fun, creative, and challenging. I'm someone who needs to modify certain exercises, and that's totally acceptable here. No one is judging you, and the trainers are quick to provide alternatives based on what you need. The best part is the people! From the incredibly caring trainers to the workout family who show up , it always feels like I'm working out with friends every single day. It's such a positive environment - and provides a unique experience that you won't find anywhere else.
Alison Sykes: I have been going to 6FF for over a year and have loved the experience. Wonderful and caring coaches, outdoors, variety of workouts, and wonderful community.
Bianca Rodriguez: Six Foot Fit has been life-changing! It’s a great way to meet your workouts goals and make friends. It’s a great community!
Julia Gaffney: If you are looking for a fun supportive environment with creative workouts then Six Foot Fit is the place. I love the group personal training atmosphere. Every workout takes into consideration where you are in your fitness journey. Every day is a different workout and this keeps me excited and motivated to come. So happy I found Six Foot Fit!
Jhanevian Barzola: Another vote for SIX FOOT FIT as best workout place!I started in the summer and immediately fell in love with the community and workouts. I love that it’s outside and everyone is very welcoming. No judgement zone. It’s a genuine vibe and Brenna Doyle sees you for YOU not as a number.I showed up with a foot injury in September and they have modified workouts for me to keep me included in all the activities. I really appreciated that and was happy to keep showing up.I highly recommend six foot fit ♥️
Katrina Williams: I've had such a great experience working with Brenna for personal training. She is very attentive and intuitive and was very quickly able to help me work through some blocks I've had for a long time. I've worked with other trainers in the past, but Brenna was able to help me improve my mechanics and form so I'm now able to move in a way that doesn't cause pain! She's amazing! I also really appreciate that she incorporates mindset! She's so upbeat, positive, and it's very motivating. I'd highly recommend six foot fit and especially personal training with Brenna!
Greg Dragos: Brenna has put together an amazing team of “trainers” to help a cross section of folks who truly wannabe in great shape !! Use the “Antigym” !!
Lisa Doyle: Six Foot Fit has an amazing business/training model! The trainers encourage a fun and challenging workout while also keeping focus on safety and proper form, which I feel is missing in many corporate/franchise gym environments. They excel in working with all age groups and enjoy creating fun classes for a myriad of milestones and celebratory accomplishments...but more than just a movement on their bathroom scales. Feeling stronger and a sense of accomplishment is critical to a fitness commitment.
Debbie Dragos: Brenna is so creative at making workouts not only a challenging but a lot of fun. Invigorating workout.
sudher b: New and Fun way to workout.
Brittany George: It’s no surprise that SFF has a 5 star rating when I write this. The experience Six Foot Fit provides surpasses any conventional gym. All the workouts are outside; like have you ever seen a squat rack outside?? Here, you do. Anything is possible with SFF and the trainers work hard to make things exciting and spicy. No two workouts are the same, which challenges your body mentally and physically and also has you coming back for more. 😋
Tequesha McKinnon: Working out with Six Foot Fit has been such an amazing experience for me. I was having a hard time getting into the habit of working out on my own so I joined to have the support of others. I have been attending since June and they feel like a family to me. The workouts are great for people at all different levels. I was not really active before joining and over these months I have notice so much progress. The workouts are fun. The trainers have been motivational. I went from having a very sedentary to being active and excited about working out.TLDR: Six Foot Fit helped me get into the habit of exercising. It is great for people of all different levels.
Felicia Seely: I had an INCREDIBLE time at Six Foot Fit! The instructors were so passionate and encouraging and made the workout so much fun. Highly recommend!!

Pilates the Form & Pilates Certification of NC: what do users think?
Khushi Goda: Absolutely love training with Dawn here! I have been going for regular Pilates sessions twice a week for about a year now and the difference I feel in my core strength is mind blowing! I sought Pilates out due to lower back pain and I feel so much better after each session. Dawn is very sweet and attentive too!
hello there: Excellent instructor and a very nice studio. Roxann has extensive knowledge and experience which makes her an amazing and effective Pilates instructor. She has the dedication and the ability to understand the client’s needs and to motivate each of them.
Melissa Wagers: I’ve been working with Roxanne for almost 20 years on and off. She has helped me with back surgery recovery, chronic pain, strengthening and mobility. She’s easy to work with, communicative and very focused on correct movements, and safety. I look forward to every session and trust working with Roxanne on every level . Highly recommend !!
Linda Whipple: I started Pilates for the first time about a year & 1/2 ago. Working with Roxann has been a fabulous experience ! She is extremely knowledgeable , patient , and fun ! I also LOVE the studio. It is so clean, well organized and nicely decorated.
Dawn Skelton: Pilates The Form is an excellent place to learn pilates and obtain pilates certification. I have been in the fitness industry for 30+ years and Roxann Woods is not only a gifted instructor of pilates but also an excellent teacher. After achieving great results with Pilates and Roxann two years ago, I decided I wanted to increase my knowledge and start Pilates certification. Roxann is always prepared, sets clear expectations, she is patient with her students and has a positive attitude. I am excited to continue my practice, certification, and apprenticeship with Roxann and Pilates the Form.
Stacy Miller: My daughter has been working with Roxanne at The Form for several years after being diagnosed with scoliosis. The exercises allow her to strengthen her weaker side and have less pain in her every day life. Roxanne is a pleasure to work with. She is quick to communicate and teaches correct breath and form. I recently started working with her apprentice, Dawn, and it’s been great. Pilates is a wonderful form of exercise for all people regardless of age. I highly recommend The Form.
C S: I had taken pilates at other studios — Pilates the Form is true to its name! Roxanne has helped me improve my pilates form. She is motivating and knowledgeable, and the studio is well-equipped.
Madi Swyers: A great place to both learn about and do Pilates. The instructor is really good at what she does, and can explain thoroughly what you are doing with each exercise. Overall I have had a good experience at this place.
Sooyoun Lee: Roxann is definitely the best instructor I have ever worked with. She is incredibly knowledgeable about how the body works and really knows pilates in great depth, which lets me work out on a whole different level. She is also very patient and works with you from the very basics and up to strengthen your core more affectively.I had zero muscles when I first met her but now I’m getting well toned after months of working on the right muscles with her ;)
Lacey Senko: I started pilates a couple years ago. I was a complete beginner with zero experience. Roxanne has completely changed my body shape, made me stronger and guided me through to more advanced pilates. Not to mention Roxanne is awesome and kind and fab…even seeing my mother and making her feel awesome about herself! She is my swim suit captain and I wouldn’t trust my pilates to anyone else!
Linda Barcelo: Very experienced instruction. Roxanne is kind and patient but also pushes you to challenge yourself. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Kamini Wood: Roxann is extremely knowledgeable and patient with her clients. She has created an environment that makes Pilates fun and enjoyable.
Pat T.: I have been working with Roxanne for more than 10 years. She is a phenomenal teacher! She knows about the body and how to train you. She is patient, professional, kind and knows how to move you forward. I had to leave NC. So, I was so pleased when she agreed to continue to work with me online. Roxanne works with me twice a week and I am so grateful I have such a caring pilates trainer who understands my body’s challenges and encourages me.
Mary Pineda: I love Pilates! I am a fairly new “disciple” of Pilates. My instructor, Roxann, is personable, patient using many different explanations and demonstrations to help me learn a new exercise or enhance one I have done before. She does the exercises with me when needed. She is positive about progress. I think she is a great teacher! The studio itself is an attractive, peaceful, quiet space conducive to focusing on the work/training that is taking place.Overall, I am happy here and can’t imagine a better environment and teacher to help me learn Pilates’techniques.
Bettyjean Kriss: Wonderful experience all around. The Best Pilates Session I have ever received. Roxann is Extremely patient, she explains every movement and helps you understand how to fully train your body to work each exercise properly.
Donnell Rini-Swyers: Roxann is an amazing pilates instructor and a gifted teacher. She knows more about the workings of the human body than anyone I have ever met. Pilates with Roxann is both challenging and invigorating. Pilates under Roxann's keen eye has given me the body I have always wanted.
Rajsree Gupta: I have had private lessons here for about a year. Roxann is knowledgeable at a level that I have not experienced before in Pilates. I found muscles that I didn’t know I had and feel much stronger with less back pain. I highly recommend Roxann!
Peter Mandel: Roxanne is a very knowledgeable and caring instructor. I started coming for back issues and feel 100% better. She is an expert on the back. I feel stronger, I'm more flexible, and my back pain has gone away. I highly recommend Roxanne as a Pilates instructor.
Amparo Stanisavljevic: I highly recommend Pilates the Form. Pilates has strengthened and toned my entire body. My posture is better, my core is stronger and I have improved my flexibility. All that would not have been possible without Roxann! She is an amazing and very knowledgeable instructor.
Brenda DelNero: Roxanne is awesome!! My girlfriend and I take semi private classes. She so knowledge and really enjoy working out with her!
Laure Landvogt: Roxanne is the best. Very patient and knowledgeable and really enjoy our class!

Bucked Up Fitness: what do users think?
VIKRAM KALSI: Great Gym with tremendous Staff.Jason (the owner) is very helpful & always is there to assist with anything we need. I would recommend this Gym to all those in the Cary area looking to get in amazing shape!
Sara: The gym itself is decent and has a variety of equipment. I have enjoyed it the handful of times I went. My issue is with the short-term membership. When I signed up they verbally described the membership as month-to-month with the ability to cancel at any time.I moved recently and decided to cancel my membership. I spoke with someone over the phone June 27th and requested they cancel my membership. They informed that it was successfully canceled. I asked if I would receive confirmation by email that it was canceled - the staff member wasn’t sure but promised me that it was canceled. I also asked if I would be charged in July and the staff member said I would not be charged.I was surprised when I saw a charge come through on July 1st. I decided to go to the gym in person and check the status of my membership. I spoke with a staff member at the front desk and asked them to pull up membership information. The staff member informed me that my membership was not actually cancelled. They then canceled my membership. If I hadn’t gone in I would have been charged August 1st as well.If you decide to get a short term membership be aware that it is not actually month-to-month and you cannot cancel at anytime as they claim. The short term membership requires 30 days notice to cancel which they state in their membership agreement. I realize now that I should have looked at the terms of the membership agreement instead of just listening to the staff member who sold me the membership originally. If you need to cancel your membership make sure to do it in person and make sure that you receive email confirmation.TLDR: decent gym with friendly staff and gym goers, not the most transparent about the terms of their membership packages, and if you need to cancel go in person and make sure you get written confirmation.Edit: First, while I agree I should have more thoroughly read the terms of agreement, my issue still stands. There was a discrepancy between the verbal description of the membership and the written terms. Second, my membership was not actually canceled 6/29. Even if had known about the 30 day policy and knew to expect a payment on 7/1, I still would have been charged on 8/1 for a membership I thought was cancelled. All this to say: to anyone considering joining this gym make sure you read the terms of agreement instead of just listening to the membership options as described by the staff. Also, make sure to get email confirmation of cancellation, regardless if you cancelled over the phone or in person.
John Wells: I hate to dump on a place I didn't get to fully experience...however ..Went in for a day pass with my gf (former bodybuilder, and myself an experienced powerlifter) and I personally thought this was the worst gym I've ever been to.We went in looking to try everything to see what it had to offer, on a day pass.First four machines (two leg curls, leg extension, and a leg press) were all either problematic and/or awful.Laying Leg extension: couldn't go full ROM would lock into place (we tried multiple different positions), and the belt got stuck. We noticed a girl after us trying it with the same problem (so we are fairly confident it wasn't due to our lack of using this specific machine).Sitting Leg Curl: very odd looking mechanism, and the leverages on it was very strange, could be personal preference, but out of 30+ gyms over the east coast , I've personally never had one like that.Leg Extension: Every set the 'weights' locked into place (this wasn't a plate loaded machine but one where you choose the weights with a slider mechanical (not pin loaded either). Trying to release the weight on the machine (as the gf and I handle different weights) required quite a lot of force, and caused me once to jam my thumb into the metal frame (I guess I could have used my foot or something to dislodge it?...)Leg Press: Frustrated at this point, the gf mainly used the leg press (plate loaded) and only went up to about 6 plates per side. Starting with 3 plates, the leg press not only rocked left and right but forward and back , leading to quite interesting reps (each time). Now, I want to make this clear I actually prefer older equipment, nothing fancy, items that simply get the job done. However, all of these pieces of equipment had major flaws or issues and I'm embarrassed for the gym itself. With that said, they have a myriad of powerlifting racks, and from the looks of things (I did not try) calibrated plates, and decent power benches (not sure the brand) with proper pin placements (not simply 1").I also hear they have a sauna , and potentially a court upstairs ? (Saw someone bring a basketball up there).I definitely am biased given the only pieces of equipment either didn't work, worked poorly, or damn near injured me (half joking).Edit: The owner comes into the review to act like we didn't know how to use the equipment... What a strategy ..
Jim C: They won’t even let you try the gym for a free workout before you commit to a long term membership, oh well their loss, guess I’ll stay at the competition (Golds Gym) who let’s you try before you buy.If “out of towners are benefitting” as you state below, that is easily fixed with requiring an ID! Wouldn’t more members keep the gym thriving and from going out of business, which “benefits the members”…..
Michael Tedesco: Positive:Professionalism,QualityThe vibe and community here amazing! Facility has all the latest equipment, big locker rooms with saunas, large upstairs turf area, classes, and a large retail store with everything Bucked Up.
Yusif Darwish: The gym is great, what differentiates this gym from every other one in the area, is not the machines (as of right now)... it's the community or staff, amazing staff members.
isabel harris: This gym is amazing when it comes to equipment and community. I’ve never been in such an accepting and welcoming gym in my life. It does fall short in actually catering to its members though. I have hyperthermia and this place does not have any AC. I am unable to consistently come into this gym during the hotter days (60+) because it is packed and I tend to overheat. If you have a similar disorder please stay away from this gym when it’s crowded or hot outside!
Walter Cragg: best gym in the area. top of the line equipment and cardio. super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Sierra Rivas: Dirty facilities with second hand mismatched equipment. Considering this is a Utah company and I used to live in Utah and know the standard of the fitness scene there, I expected a lot more.
Julie Martha: I absolutely love this gym. I’ve used BuckedUp supplements in the past and never connected there was an actual buckedup gym. Being from out of state and having just moved to this area, all I can say is, I’m pleasantly surprised. This gym is very clean, professional, and structured. I do love how simple the check-in process is. The app is AMAZING! I love how the app tells you how many people are in the gym at any given time so I can avoid busy periods. The locker rooms are immaculate and the lifting floor is also cleaned regularly. Thank you for an amazing gym!
S D: Great Gym My Sons Love it! Get Bucked Up!! This Gym has EVERYTHING They Need!Thank You!
Keith Bell: Cool group they have out there and the store is off rhe charts
November December: Fav
Lee Maniff: Best gym in the triangle. The staff is great, equipment was hand picked and it shows when you ask the staff about them. I’ve been here since the gym has opened and I don’t see a reason to leave. I heard they’re adding a lot to the gym in the next few months! Highly recommend
Jeffrey Chan: "Jeff, it’s interesting when you’ve visited the facility 149 times and have been a member since December 1st and you’d give us such a negative review? You gave your cancellation notice on July 26th which means your membership remains active until August 25th and we charge you a pro-rate for those 25 days into August. That’s a standard policy that you signed as recently as June 23rd. To go to such lengths to call this the worst gym you’ve been to is contradictory to you being a member for over 7 months and knowing the policies we have in placeOur members love how much equipment we have as well as the vibe we provide within the facility."Reply:I went to this gym because it was closest to where I live. That's not a standard policy. Bucked Up FORCED previous consumers to sign since June 23rd. My original contract never had such policy. You amended the policy and then required members to sign otherwise they can't use the facility. To go out on a limb and say that I contradict myself by stating that I was signed up for 7 months and saying it's the worst is a reach. Lifetime was my favorite gym; I was only a member for 5 months. Does time really dictate how much you like a place? Also -- I can think of a handful of people who absolutely hate how cramped the space is. Even current members are fed up with the machine with the broken cable. It's been two months -- way past acceptable timeframe to fix a machine.Furthermore, I'd advise all current members to go look at the equipment that's been set up. There's nuts and bolts on the edges of all the equipment from poor installation. Do you really want to be on the receiving end of a machine when it malfunctions?
Shayne Dye: This is a smaller gym but has everything needed to stay fit or bodybuild. Young crowed average age seems to be around 20+ I’m 56 and have been at this for 30+ years I rather like the young crowed to push me through my training. Good clean gym and locker room.
luke53285: Great new equipment, plenty of squat racks and space to do whatever workout you'd like. Great atmosphere to workout in. Negatives would be that it can be crowded at times, and a lot of people recording themselves and it can take up a good amount of space.
Chelsea Cranfill: Top notch facility! Amazing machines and equipment, great staff, affordable, and you can’t beat the free pre-workout as well. Also, I love how there are ski ergs, rowers, and assault bikes too.
Nicole Sterba: I was so excited for this gym and but I was super let down by my experience. The equipment is wonderful, the staff was super nice, but I felt completely unwelcome by the patrons. Before I even walked into the building, 2 guys walked past me and one of them “coughed” (actually insulted me under his breath) and his buddy laughed loudly. I felt like everyone was watching me during the entirety of my workout. I have been weightlifting for 2 years and have never been to a gym with such an unwelcoming energy. I literally felt like I was in high school again. It’s such a shame because I would love this gym if not for the people being so rude to me. If you’re not a completely jacked man… maybe steer clear
Skippy: Hey Guys. Thanks so much for the tour today. I'm considering Bucked Up after previous gym closed. Bucked up is an impressive gym. A 'pure' gym. Non-pretentious with everything I need and nothing I don't (did you hear that LifeTime? O2?). Had a great conversation with your GM who was putting in his own reps keeping the place tidy and presentable. I think I've found my new local gym.
Michelangelo: I used to be at Fitness Connection, but at Bucked Up I make more of a connection with fitness.

Athletic Republic Cary: what do users think?
Amit Verma: Athletic republic has changed my perspective of fitness. Combination of strength and agility training has made me more fitter and active. Davin has been wonderful coach for last one year. He not only makes work out challenging but also fun. Thanks a lot Davin for all your help!
Michelle Sutton: Great team of trainers here! We've loved the wide range of availability, especially on Saturdays. Everyone we've dealt with here has been more than helpful. Try them out--you won't be disappointed!
Himanshu Vajaria: Our kid enjoyed the classes. The facilities are great, and so are the instructors!
Jon Burrell: Can’t say enough good things about this place. I’ve been going to this place roughly every week for the past few months and doing the private sessions with Trenton. The amount of confidence I’ve gained and the amount of personally tailoring of the program to my needs has been fantastic. We talk through each workout, and he takes my input and incorporates it into my workouts. I feel stronger than when I started and will definitely continue to schedule more private sessions in the future.
Blackcrypto: I can really get in shape get ha ha
Suhas: I had seen so many fitness classes in Cary. but out of that your fitness class is the best. Athletic republic trainer team has the best positive attitude and that are highly energized to teach kids.
carey nobles: Athletic Republic is a great place for kids and adults to work out at. The staff is great and awesome , Please go check out this great place.
Rachel Rogers: My son enjoyed the experience of the acceleration and strength classes and the ease of walking to the classes conveniently scheduled right after his school. We had to take a break as our sports season started and it was easy to cancel during this time with the package we signed up for.
Candice Shah: I enrolled my son at Athletic Republic over the winter months. He runs cross country and track and was recovering from an injury. In his first (trial) session, he noticed he had significant weaknesses in isolated muscle groups that he was not aware of.In the 2.5 months he has been attending sessions at Athletic Republic, he has noticed great improvement in his speed and strength, as well as correction of the prior strength imbalances. Track season started this week, and he has noticed significant improvements in his abilities, and all pain free. We will be re-enrolling in future off-seasons for sure. Highly recommend. The owner is also great with communication!
Gregory Denning: My son has prospered from his time at Athletic Republic Cary. The facility is clean and the staff are great with young athletes. The guidance provided through training sessions has made a big impact to his physical and mental performance on the field.
Akshaj Goel: Very good gym. Staff is very friendly and treats you like family. Would recommend to any beginners
Mil MIn: My child loves this place and the staff! I highly recommend attending!
Ryan Hunsucker: Both of our boys have been going to AR classes since it opened. We love all of the instructors and the environment is so supportive and encouraging. The owner, Alen, is always around and immediately responds to any questions we have. Our boys seem to get a little stronger and faster each month, which is also nice.
Bryon Lawrence: Very enjoyable for the whole family. Good workouts have not had the same one twice.
K D: Wow, this place is a teen athlete's dream come true! Not only is it sparkling clean, but the training in incredible. The trainers all have very impressive backgrounds and education, and care so much about each athlete. They track your progress and have written plans on what you will be doing each day so no time is wasted. We are SO happy this opened up in Cary and would highly recommend. After 18 months of attending I would like to update my review to say my teen loves it more than ever. He has had HUGE gains in all measurables (vertical, 60, leg press etc) and looks forward to attending any chance he gets. Couldn't recommend more strongly.
Sandeep Kedia: Fantastic experience! Allen and the team are great! Kids loved coming to this facility! Great program for tenagers!
Vipul Uniyal: Excellent place to develop agility for sports fitness ..
Paige D'Agostin: I had an amazing experience at Athletic Republic while I completed around 3 months of ACL rehab with Coach Devin. The program was great, as I was transitioning through the many different phases of ACL protocol. It was also extremely individualized and personal during the process. I would definitely return to AR for regular training, as well as recommend the ACL program to people looking for a place!
Jeff Bowen: My family has been going to Athletic Republic of Cary 3-4 days a week for just over a month now and we absolutely love it! My oldest son is senior this year and is going to college in the fall to play football, so we were looking for a comprehensive program to help get him ready for the rigors of college football (especially with the uncertainties going in as a freshmen). After we did the initial free trial/assessment class, we all were immediately sold and decided to sign up for the Family Membership.Alen has done an amazing job building out the training staff. Everyone is super professional, extremely knowledgeable, and amazing to work with. Coming from a family of athletes who loves to play sports and train year-round, AR has been a breath of fresh air for all of us. It can get very mundane (especially for a pre-teen and teen-agers) going to the “gym” basically to do the same thing over and over again. Definitely do not have to worry about that at AR – every class offers something new and challenging – which we all really appreciate!I have been playing sports and working out my entire life and I love the morning AR-FIT class. I typically do the 6 or 7am session with Nicki as the trainer and she does an excellent job. My kids are 17/15/12, and they go to the Acceleration and Functional Strength sessions (2 different classes) in the afternoon for a total of 1.5 hours. Devin, Julia, and Nicki have all been their trainers and they really enjoy working with each of them. My 15 yr old daughter plays High School and travel volleyball. My 12 yr old son plays football, basketball, tennis, and soccer.Athletic Republic of Cary offers a variety of challenges for all skill levels for both the parents and the kids. I highly recommend taking advantage of the free trial to check it out!
Robin Marcus: Update: my son, now in 6th grade, has been training here for just over a year. He still enjoys Ignition classes, as well as functional strength, recovery, and sensory enhanced training. The trainers make it fun for him, and he is learning good form, injury prevention. You can see the positive impact in his form, agility, and endurance on the soccer pitch and basketball court.
Ravi Teja Poli: Always exceeding my expectations with highly supportive trainers, daily unique workouts and advanced equipment.I worked with trainer Nikki, who is knowledgeable in the workouts and very supportive in making sure that I am motivated and improving my performance. Alan (the owner) is very accommodating and was always there to support as needed.I would strongly recommend trying Athletic Republic if you are in West Cary and interested in improving your fitness.

UNC Wellness Center at Northwest Cary: what do users think?
Christopher Kearney: Great for a quick workout
Sanket Kunde: Great Gym for the locality. Contrary to some of the reviews, I found equipments well maintained in alignment with nationwide chains. There may be more teenagers, though could be a sign of young and healthy Community overall.Pros:Pleasant staffRock climbingSwimm poolCons:Only found in some of previous reviews.
Renee Zhang: DON'T GO!!! There is no personal privacy and respect. They can use their key to unlock the family locker room anytime they want, regardless of whether you're using the toilet or changing your clothes. It is not a safe and comfortable environment for all patrons. Wish I can give a negative star.
Narayan Kumar: Great place to workout!
Pushpak Laddha: Great
Shohreh Sadri: Very clean! Staff are very friendly.
vinod kumar thakur: Nice
Drew Jones: 1 star for the teenagers gathered at equipment 24/7 socializing. I thought the YMCA nearby was bad but this gym is the same.
Zeba Darvesh: Great place for gym and hiit classes.
Rebecca Kim: Mn n m.mmm
Robert Benson: Great place for your daily or periodic exercising. Good programs and personal trainers available. Great indoor track, pool, equipment, locker rooms, and showers. Staff is friendly and helpful.
JAMES Green: Solid gym. Friendly and helpful staff. Adequate hours and equipment.
jillybeans: Clean, beautiful and spacious. Great staff.
Suresh Jayaraman: Amazing facility. Very clean and equipments are well cleaned and well maintained. The gym and workout areas are super hygine. The bathrooms mess up sometimes but they regular clean it as well. Bring your own flip-flops to wear it inside bath rooms. Private coaching available but a bit expensive. Free classes are a.ple enough for you to be fit and maintain good health. Boot camps is a great choice to get started with the day.
MR: Great place to work out
Geoffrey Jacobs: I am a current member of this gym and the only reason I am still a member is because of the proximity to my house, that is about the only good thing I have to say about this facility. The Bad:They just did a re-organization of their stale outdated equipment, and it could not be worse or more bizarre it really is frustrating that no one knows how to run a gym in the area.If I could give it negative stars for the equipment I would.Lastly, the number of teenagers using the equipment improperly is really disturbing along with them sitting on the equipment not using it and looking at here phones. Last week I saw two young teenagers making out in the facility this is what this facility has turned into and with the amount of money they charge for membership you would think they would have top of the line equipment, not even close!Disappointing Frustrating and Sad, these are the words to describe this gym/facility!
soabtanmnl: A very nice facility and all the equipment is well cared for and in working order in my experience. Indoor pool and track, plenty of cardio and weight machines, decent free weight area (not huge, but haven't run into any problems with it being crowded or waiting on equipment so far), and some individual training areas on the second floor with various weights, balls, mats, etc. I haven't used either, but there is also a climbing wall and massage services available onsite as well. The facility is clean, and there are plenty of sanitary stations around to clean equipment easily before and after use. Staff has been very kind and helpful in both general information and in instructor lead classes. Their website hosts an event calendar showing all the free member group exercise classes available (as well as more educational classes ranging from health education, Nutrition, and recovery specific clinics). I personally find the location convenient, and there is plenty of parking outside the facility. I've gone at a few different times during the week both around lunch and after work, and have not found it to be too crowded at any point. If it's important to you, on the whole a good mix of people going there across the spectrum of age, gender, and athletic ability, atmosphere is very judgment free so no worries on "being the odd one out". On the more expensive end of membership rates. $76 a month, with no long term contract, no enrollment fee, and can cancel at anytime. You also get 6 free 1 day guest passes a year. Membership comes with a free fitness evaluation with a certified trainer and 30min consultion with a registered dietician, also gives you access to the UNC Meadowmont facility in Chapel Hill. Their website does a good job of highlighting the facility features and amenities, and membership rates and benefits. Overall I have been very happy using this facility and recommend checking it out in person if you are interested to get a good feel for it yourself prior to joining, as enrollment is all done online.
Robert: I joined this club because this was the only fitness club in a reasonable distance from my home even though the membership fee was outrageous, $75 per month. However, after few months, I decided to quit, and joined another club with a fair price. It is 15 min drive for me, but I get the value I actually pay for now. The facility is not up to par for that premium membership fee. The variety of workout equipments is just not there. The space is not big enough. There are no special amenities that justify the price. The owner is just greedy. They should cut the membership fee in half. That would be a fair price for this club. YMCA is nearby. Their facility is better and its membership fee is lower than UNC's
Mary Slattery: We are members of UNC wellness and love the facility and staff. Excellent
mike smith: One word - Not worth the money looted. Insane membership cost 75$...Explore other gyms nearby
Sandy V: I was planning to switch recently from YMCA to UNC but dropped the plan. Note - I am individual member and have no interest in promoting any of the gyms - I am here to save my costs and get value of my spending. Why UNC wellness membership costs you 74$ as compared to 52$ for YMCA?Most of programs and benefits are same, so what is so special about UNC?I could observe old/stale equipment's in UNC on open tour.Folks - try to make your membership cost realistic for mass to afford and just stop targeting the niche with deep pockets. You doing no benefit to most of your community.

Fitness Together-Cary: what do users think?
于于: I don't feel comfortable to go to big gyms like O2, so I started personal trainer after my second baby. I joined 2 months ago with trainer Ben, he is kind and patient! I've noticed a big improvement in my strength and stability. The workouts are so tailored to my needs, capabilities, and specifics. Ben is great at motivations and very knowledgeable. People around me start realizing my changes only after two months, that's every impressive. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to start healthy life.
Sam Scaggs: We've had the pleasure of working with three of the trainers and they are all great, but a special shout out to Michele for always being alert enough to notice when one of us isn't feeling 100% and adjusting the workout to compensate.
Wray Ferrell: If you want to get in shape this is the place for you. The one on one instruction is great and by working with them my bad back has gotten much better. Nice to be pain free.
Alison Haines: I love training at FT in Cary. It is well run and most importantly has improved my overall fitness and health.
Carolyn Wilborn: Sean is kind, caring, and great to work with. All of the trainers that I've worked with have been friendly and knowledgeable. I do wish there was a little more consistency in trainers, as I feel like I'm starting from scratch with each, but I expect that will change as I get farther into my program.
Vicky Ismail: Enjoying my time getting stronger, more flexible and fit! My trainers push when needed and challenge me well to understand "why" what they do will help me stay functionally fit. Stretching and movements in between exercises help tremendously as well. I leave feeling like I have accomplished something quite important and appreciate the variety of workouts to keep things from getting boring.
Paul Milam: Great gym with the most professional trainers in the business!
Nan E. Hannah: I needed what I think off as an “accountability coach” to help me get ready for a total knee replacement. Sean and his team designed a program and encouraged me to push myself while willingly stopping if I reported true discomfort. I’m now post-op and making a much quicker recovery than I did with the first TKR a year ago. These guys are great.
Jerry Yoo: As a physical therapist, finding the right coach or personal trainer is super important when we transition clients to fitness programs at discharge. At Fitness Together, you will find Sean’s coaching team be competent, conscientious, and caring. I have yet to meet a dissatisfied client and having seen them all in action, you WILL get the results you are looking for. The FT system is proven and there’s a reason why their clients stay for the long haul. I highly recommend FT Cary for your one-on-one training needs.
April Waylett: I feel so fortunate that Sean chose Christine to be my personal trainer. She provides positive reinforcement, encourages me to make the extra effort when I need it, and is always supportive. I am so happy I chose Fitness Together to help me achieve my fitness goals!
Trevor Walker: Been going here for almost 2 years, I exceeded my original fitness goal and continue to improve. Nick is great to work with and very knowledgeable.
Krishna Patel: I've been working with Tyler and Christine for several months and they're both phenomenal trainers! They're very knowledgeable about training and fitness, as well as, attentive and supportive during workouts. Also, I really appreciate that Christine and Tyler take the time to cater workout sessions to my specific needs and fitness goals. I highly recommend Fitness Together to anyone just starting out and looking for additional guidance.
RJ DiNardi: Training here has been phenomenal. As someone who struggled to see results for years, working with trainer Tyler 3x a week has already shown a lot of improvement after 6 months.Tyler is great about tailoring the workout to my specific needs and working to improve anything I’m struggling with.Getting consistent times has been easy, and is flexible if and when things do come up.I highly recommend!
Abigail Knapp: I've been going here for several months. It has been a great experience thus far. I met with Sean originally who took me through the process and showed me around and helped to set me up for success from the get go. He "assigned" me to my trainer Tyler, and has checked in with me periodically to make sure things are going well.I couldn't ask for a better trainer in Tyler, he is flexible with scheduling and pushes me to do my best and not phone in my workouts. He understands my limitations and assess progress throughout the workout. He offers suggestions of options as well. The nice thing about Fitness is together is when you arrive it's you, your trainer and the equipment. No one else is watching what your doing, there is no judgment from strangers on other equipment and the focus is on you and your workout.I'd recommend this place to anyone just starting out who wants guidance on how to start working out, anyone who has a fear of going to a big gym filled with people, or who just wants to improve on what they already know. The people here are absolutely amazing.
Jane Tomick: My husband and I are long time Fitness Together clients. We cannot speak highly enough about our current trainer Tyler! He is very reliable and professional. He has a wonderful, upbeat personality. Tyler does a terrific job of changing up workouts to keep them interesting and always encourages you to push just a little harder to achieve your goals!
Ricky Ghai: The trainers here are absolute spectacular. Ive work with Tyler and Nick. They are both very personalable and have a way of pushing you without over exertimg you. My favorite part is that they teach you how to work out so you become knowledgeable as you go. They even work with you virtually so if you are not in town they will still be able to help you stay fit.
Coleen Jeter: Hands down- THE BEST training experience, coming from someone in the fitness/wellness arena. The studio design & foundation established by Sean, the expertly designed 1:1 training sessions designed by Tyler. If you want a health and wellness transformation in your life, or to ramp up your fitness journey- this IS your studio!!
Charles Carper (Chuck): I had a shoulder surgery last year and broke my ankle 6 months ago— this year has been all about recovery and getting back to normal. I’ve been going to a physical therapist for almost a year for my shoulder and 4 months for my ankle. I just started working out at Fitness Together with trainer Christine about 5 weeks ago and have seen an immediate impact in my range of motion. I feel back to my usual self which is an amazing feeling. On top of that I’ve lost 13 lbs and can see the muscle I’m gaining. The facility is clean and well-maintained, plus I love that I can play my favorite music during the session. Christine is a caring trainer who knows how to push for results in a safe, pain-free way. Owner Sean was a wealth of knowledge during my initial consult and helped me to feel confident in starting a new workout routine.
Heather Carper: I absolutely love training at Fitness Together in Cary. Owner Sean is the first person you meet and he is welcoming, positive, and knowledgeable. I am confident that he knows what he is doing and does it well. He placed me with trainer Christine and she is the absolute best. She is encouraging, tuned in to you, and smart. I have the most fun in our sessions laughing and carrying on while getting in a workout. Christine has never been late or missed a training; she is always focused & fully present. When I first started in January I committed to 3x per week for the entire year because I wanted to prepare for weight loss surgery that I had in March. I wanted to get stronger before surgery and now I want to continue to get stronger, slimmer, and hopefully avoid loose skin that can come with rapid weight loss. So far this has been the best place for me to accomplish these goals, and I’m happy to be surrounded by the best group of people from Fitness Together that have helped me. I did shop around and truly feel like this was the most dedicated & knowledgeable team to work with toward my goals.
Nick Zarzycki: I signed up with FT to offset stress, anxiety and inactivity. Within 3 months I was a whole new person. Stress and anxiety where behind me and I had lost over 10lbs while putting on muscle mass. It's an amazing program.
Eric Grindley: Best personal training hands down. Can’t say enough about my trainer. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to get in shape.

Anytime Fitness: what do users think?
Cyndi Overschmidt: Update: I was called after this review which was nice. I we were gone by then but thanks for the call.We were here from out of town. It scanner turned green and app said we were there but door wouldn't open. We got in at the Morrisville, I have no idea why your doors don't work.
Emery Johnson: Hands down the best gym in the cary area! Top of the line equipment and plenty of space to be diverse, this location has all you need. The owner and all of the staff are some of the nicest and best people you could ever meet. Always felt welcomed and comfortable, can't wait to go back!!!
Evan Mandragona: Was in town for business for the month and didn’t want to use my hotel’s gym during that timespan. Came to Anytime Fitness and Tevin hooked it up for me, gave me a very good deal for the month. Thanks again Tevin!!
Brad Painter: Truly exceptional management and atmosphere. I am in town for three weeks caring for a parent. The competition, Lifetime Finess, wanted to charge me $180 for the three weeks. The team at Anytime were accommodating and charged a very reasonable fee. Can’t thank them enough.
Joana Aguilar-Ramirez: For the first rime being in any gym, im glad I choose this one. They made me feel comfortable and they try to make newcomers like myself feel comfortable in this environment. It's small and everyone minds their bussiness which is good if you very self conscious like my self.
patricia flores: Anytime Fitness in Cary is a superb gym. Eric, the owner really knows how to operate a gym. No over crowding. All around great gym🏋️‍♀️ 💪
Danielle Mir: I joined Anytime Fitness -Cary in August and has been the best decision. I came in with an injured knee and the staff is all about pain-free working out and I have done so many knee strengthening exercises that I can run again and now I can jump on a box! I even trained to do my first obstacle run ever with them. It was great camaraderie and team spirit. Every trainer there is very knowledgeable and super kind. It’s like a family, you walk in and they know your name. 😊
M Potts: One of the better AF locations I've been to.
Allison Blakeley: I've been with this gym for almost a year now and I'm so glad I joined. I was new to the area and immediately felt like I had found a niche with the team. They always take the time to greet you, answer any questions and help you achieve what you view as your goal, even as that evolves. The members are just as kind and I've truly enjoyed working out in the classes and even running with a group, something I never thought I'd say. Thank you Anytime Fitness Cary!
Brittany Trethewey: I love the environment at this location. Everyone is extremely friendly and it feels very community-oriented. It’s always clean and there’s plenty of equipment to choose from. I actually look forward to my workouts now. I am in healthcare, so my schedule is all over the place, but Mike, Tevin, Dave, and Eric all make sure to support me and are flexible in helping me get my workouts in. They are always changing up the workouts to keep me on my toes. I love it here!
Francesca Palamara: This is the best gym ever! Fantastic culture. Wonderful people. They will find what works best for your lifestyle and WORK with YOU. Cannot recommend this place more highly!
Kimberly Goss: Always a positive vibe with a welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The facilities are super clean and never crowded. Work out on your own and/or join a team in a small group class lead by trainers with a plan in place to help you meet your goals! Want to run a race or obstacle course, AF have like minded trainers that are happy to put a plan and group together to help everyone succeed, the staff has even joined in on these outings to support their teams! They go above and beyond!Kimberly Goss
Jarisa Johnson: I can’t imagine working out anywhere else. They have all the standard equipment you could need, plus more. Eric and his team are very knowledgeable on proper training, which includes mobility and working with where people are at. This gym is like an extension of my family now. Plus gym access is 24 hours. When I go out of town, I’ll occasionally go to another Anytime Fitness and it’s not the same.
Isaac Childress: Very clean very organized. Dropped in for a single workout, Tevin helped me out, very personable! If I ever move to this area I will come here.
Retired 2019: Best Anytime Fitness I've ever been to. Eric and his team are passionate about helping members achieve their fitness goals.
Yoseline Rivas: They have all I need, clean, equipment looks like new, 24/7, multiple locations across the country.
Savinna Mangalindan: Smaller space compared to gyms like PF and crunch but has a pretty good selection of machines and equipment. My favorite gym around the crossroads area and isn’t too far if you live there. staff was great, everything’s clean, and the price is not too bad.
Ross Irwin: Great staff and amazing gym.
ITS Service: Very delicious food
Marshall Jones: Eric is running a great environment here. Both he and Tevin are always helpful and create a positive place to work out. Extremely clean facilities with really nice equipment
Rolando Zapata: Good For Fitness

Phase II Personal Training Cary NC: what do users think?
Brian Whitfield: The owner & training staff are top notch and very professional.
Brianna Roberts: I was racially profiled at this gym. I would not recommend it to anyone of color. I initially received a warm greeting via telephone and offered a free hour long trial session. However, when I showed up for my appointment; I was told that I must be at the wrong gym. The owner William acted like he had no idea who I was and as if he had never spoken with me. I clearly wasn’t welcomed in or embraced because I am an African American woman. Please never settle for this kind of treatment and take your money where it will be appreciated.
Meghna M Dutta: Highly recommend this place for all your fitness needs. All the trainers are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and there is an atmosphere there that makes you want to work without whining :)My personal trainer was Michael, who I definitely recommend for creating rigorous fitness workouts, motivating me to push past my limits and helping me stay positive always.
Sumit Dutta: Highly recommend Phase II and especially, Michael Rudolph as a trainer!Pros:- Very knowledgeable, helpful and personable trainers- Facility is adequately equipped- Good price- Customers often bring wonderful goodies (e.g., produce, plants) to shareI worked with Michael Rudolph at Phase II (in Cary) for ~2 years to recover from my patellar tendonitis condition on both legs and for overall fitness improvement. The facility is equipped adequately. Michael is a wonderful person, very knowledgeable, sincere and takes very good care. Eventually, my wife joined too and had a wonderful experience. We used to hate going to the gym and working out but, Michael played a big role in changing our mindset, teaching us workout basics, injury prevention techniques, and making workouts very interesting. I recently moved out of the country and my wife and I miss Michael and Phase II sorely.Although, I have not completely recovered from my patellar tendonitis condition, Michael helped me make substantial progress on it, and also increase my overall body strength and fitness level.Thank you Phase II and Michael for your fitness support.
Thomas: I recommend them highly. You train 1 on 1 with a personal trainer in a small gym with all the equipment and no waiting for machines, etc. The workouts can be purchased in groups. Can also come in and do cardio when they are open for no charge.
Margaret Eason: Amazing, knowledgable trainers who work with your goals and limitations!
Jenny Somerville: Michael Rudolph is a great trainer. Small gym and very personal environment
Charlie Dean: I've done my fair share of personal training since I retired about seven years ago. I have also been fairly active athletically all my life. As I have toned down my sporting activity, I have tried to enhance my strength and balance by working with a number of personal trainers.I have found a gem with the team at Phase ll. Working with my trainer, Deb Richter, is like attending class at the graduate level in an area that fascinates you. I most appreciate the holistic approach she brings to our sessions, because she has elevated my wellness via motion and movement that I thought only possible through the medical profession. Her combination of skills, knowledge, and understanding truly allows her to customize our sessions oriented toward our mutual goal of 'delaying the decay' as we advance onward.
Michael Elliott: I like how comfortable this facility makes you feel. I also like the fact that its a one on one only fitness center. You don't have to wait on machines that interrupts your workout. You don't have loud crazy people to deal with.
Son Kei: For the past year I have been participating in a Phase II personal training program designed to help me overcome the many side effects of advanced prostate cancer treatments. These include muscle deterioration caused by Lupron injections, four surgeries and radiation. My trainer - Deborah Richter - has done a first rate job designing and helping me executed a recovery program involving exercise, nutrition and emotional/mental tranquility. Although the training has been interrupted by surgery, Deborah has helped me loose 20 pounds and develop a slim, fit, physical appearance. Assuming my cancer and the side effects of cancer treatments do not reappear, in another six months I will have the health, physique and energy of a man who is 20 years younger than I now am. Who could ask for more???Sonny Keisler
Karen Cloninger: PHASE II has been an integral part of my life for over 10 years. William Wagner and his team of trainers work hard to create an individual workout based solely on your needs. It is always an interesting, productive and even enjoyable hour! I highly recommend giving PHASE II on Ashville Avenue in Cary a try.
William Watson: My trainer Deborah Richter is the greatest. Been training with her for about eight years. They have top notch equipment to work with and great people as trainers.
Aaron Isbell: I have gone to Phase II since February of 2013. It started a couple days a week to prepare for a wedding. My high school physique was long gone and my diet was out of whack. I was skeptical of myself from day one that I'd be able to commit and maintain a steady work out routine, but Phase II proved me wrong. William is my trainer and his knowledge in the area and patience is commendable. I love the focused attention of one on one instruction and I see the same other clients each week.I found myself enjoying the results and the incremental increase in my workout stamina that I switched from going in the evenings to mornings so that I could use the energy from the workout through the day. And also so I wouldn't have any excuse.Fast forward to November 2014 and I could not be more thankful. My friends and family notice my improvement. If you are reading this post to this point then you should really consider it. The real reason I've been successful is because when I go to workout the other clients and trainers act more like a community. It's a great environment! Consider it and maybe I'll see you there.I'm the guy who will yelp out a Ric Flair 'woooooooo' every so often :)
