Tongjun Wu: It should be 0 star. We brought a Stihl MS 291 chainsaw three weeks ago. It costed $529.99, used once and broke. Not able to start. We brought to store at cary the repair technician cleaned sparkle and it was able to start. Unfortunately when we brought to home it was not working. Brought back to store and the technician said engine is broken and warranty does not cover. If repair it will cost about $650! Ridiculous!!!! $530 junk. What a service and what a product! Be aware! We will never buy anything from the Northern Tools again!

How I felt like I was done wrong by Harold, see as I was the last person in line. Once it was my turn, He made me go to another line that was longer ilo of just checking me out with my one item. While I was in the second long line. I watched Harold messing around doing nothing.
Travis Horton: Cheap Chinese tools. Cheap customer service. Lunch time, busy time. A dozen people in line to checkout with the one open register. Supervisor comes up, opens a new register to check out someone and tells another customer to get back in the long line. A supervisor? Save your time and gas and mail order if you want savings and selection. I left my arm full of potential purchases on a nearby counter and left. Great customer service is the only metric to use in today's homogenous commerce and economy.

Bill Albing: Handy store stocked with essential items. Great to have such a store with helpful staff so close to home.

Vikki Martin: I don't give bad reviews, my average is 4.5 stars. This review is only for the guys running the help area in the back. Rude. Just rude. To more than one customer based on the end of the conversation we heard as we got in line. Took window screens in for repair including reattaching the clips. The guy taking the order cut my husband off more than once. All he was interested in was name and phone number not what we wanted done. It was the abruptness of the comments. I have no issue that they don't make screens and that they don't reattach the clips but good grief be polite when conveying that. And if you don't reattach clips don't accept them from us to just lose them so that we have to buy new ones. Shame on us for opting to have the work done. Should have left and taken our business elsewhere. 2 stars only because the repairs that were done was decent work. The lady running the check out was super nice. Store clean and well stocked. Just don't get help from the back of store crew.

Marcus “Mrgamnwatch” Aurellius: This is a fantastic out of the way Mom and Pop style shop. Everyone's very friendly and addresses you directly. It has just about everything you need and because it's not a Lowe's or home Depot they'll help you with what you need pretty quickly. Unfortunately some of the staff seems new and service can be a little bit slow. Especially at the front counter But they're organization and friendliness will when you over for sure.

Amanda: Great store with excellent customer service. I'm a veteran and so I save 10% at Lowe's. I still choose to come here because they are so helpful. They have good quality products and knowledgeable staff who can help you pick out what you need to complete your project. I'm never in there more than 15 minutes even if grabbing several items. Most of the time I'm in and out in under 5 minutes.

Nick LaSpaluto: They stock a lot of Big Green Egg accessories, I have been looking for a Medium BGE Cast Iron Cooking Grid for awhile. I had been shopping at another hardware store, but they didn't have it in-stock. Town & Country Hardware had it in-stock and I'm glad they did! I'm back up-and-running with my Big Green Egg and would like to thank the people at Town & Country Hardware for that! :-)
Larry Davis: I took a screen there to be fixed and waited two weeks.I called to check on it and I admit there was one young lady that was very helpful, her name was Katheryn. After the two weeks I called and told them I was just going to come and pick it up and take it somewhere else. Katheryn was very apologetic, but there was another young lady there that treated me really nasty and made me feel hurt. I recently lost my only son and this experience certainly didn't help 💔me. I sorry if I did anything wrong!

Brad Bazemore: They markup traeger products. I went to buy a Traeger shelf for my grill. Traeger a site said it was 60$, they were selling it at 77$. I asked if they would match prices such as Traeger’s. They told me no and that Traeger set the price. That is not true. I asked Traeger and they told me the price on their site is the retail price others were to match. I will not be going here again for anything.

Bill Murphy: I work with industrial equipment and the work gloves I've been getting at Lowes or Home Depot or Agri Supply are expensive and don't last more than 2 or 3 days at all. I picked up a pair of cut resistant gloves over the weekend and here it is almost 6 days later and they are still in perfect shape. They're also breathable and were less than 1/3 the cost. Graingers Rocks!!
Gravity Child: They forgot to unload my $1500 order and wouldn't tell me anything about it. Had to call the 1-800 number to have them help me. That is also how I learned some parts where still here at this location. Took way to much effort for a simple heads up. Also they tried to charge me freight shipping even though I already paid a shipping fee.

Kris: This five stars goes to Larry May- he was so kind, personable, and efficient. He doesn’t give off sleazy salesman vibes, but rather your friendly neighborhood tradesman that understands tools & the store well!However, I would like to give the manager 1 star. Not only would he not come speak to me when I was inquiring about two floor models of three Milwaukee purchases I was making. He refused to go down in price, when these floor models were dusty and just sitting there. He missed out on a huge sale tonight.If it wasn’t for Larry- we probably would of already left.
Todd Thomas: It is very dark in this store. You almost need a flashlight to find anything. There are never many employees around if you need any help. This store is stocked and a bit more organized than the store in Cary.

This repair was for faulty parts they installed previously, they claim the parts were different.Manager was extremely rude and combative.

I presented my paper receipt to return a pressure washer I bought for commercial use that was not designed for it. The cashier Hassan was rude, loud, and very nasty. He told me several times that my item was not eligible for return until I read the back of my receipt out loud. He then proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers and angrily continued to ask why I wanted to return it. He needs to be fired. I’m sure this is not the first complaint about him and his lack of customer service.
