Angela Walter: I was just in PPG to purchase wood cleaner and the staff member not only wasn't wearing a mask, he made zero effort to put one on when we saw me enter wearing a mask and visibly stepping back away from him as he approached me. He didn’t hesitate to bring out cans to me but I stopped him and told him I’d get them myself. My husband just had a heart transplant and it’s critical that we take all precautions to prevent covid. This employee was the epitome of disrespectful by not wearing a mask despite CDC recommendations to do so.

Joshua Smith: Very pleased!I have been very impressed with PPG Paints of Durham. I've been in a few times and have always been greeted with friendly employees willing to help out. More specifically, I was able to work with Dwight who not only was able to explain the products well, he also allowed me to create a small test piece, so I could confidently pick a product.Dwight also provided me the contact information of another colleague (and expert) who could answer some more detailed questions if/when needed about specific products. A Singh: I had an amazing experience 2 days ago while purchasing exterior paint for my house. I want to call out Brent Hayes who is an Asst. Manager at this store for such a great service. Brent helped me with picking the right color, type of paint, discussed pros of each kind of paint, was super courteous, and carried all my paints to my truck.Thank you very much for being so good to your customers, I will come back to this location for all my future paint needs.PS: I was very satisfied with all the precautions in the store regarding COVID (mask wearing employees, mask available for customers, social distancing, marking on the floor, plexi glass, separate entry/exit doors etc etc)

Sayak Dutta: Before placing the order I checked with multiple stores if I can place an online order and pick up later and everyone told me it’s not possible. However, when I went to the Cary Preston store in person, the asst manager Brent helped me out and said they will do everything possible to help me out. Even after knowing that I’ll place an online order, he walked me through all the details to chose the right paint and tools for my specific requirements. It was an wonderful experience and i felt like my business was appreciated. I even called him a couple of times after my visit and he spent a good amount of time to clarify my doubts and answer my questions. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous and I would definitely shop in this store even though it’s not the closest SW location from my place.
