Goji Bistro: what do users think?
Ele Link: Food was excellent and service was great. My daughter has celiac and they have a HUGE gluten free menu, which was fantastic. We will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free menu
J Cianca: Great service. We came into order takeout and they were friendly and offered quick service. We ordered a beer and started chatting about the Japanese beer they had on the menu. Without hesitation he offered us a sample. This was unexpected yet much appreciated. The general vibe at the bar was friendly and positive. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend coming again.
Rony Waheibi: Awesome food, great portions, very accommodating, FANTASTIC drunken noodles. Drunk as of this review but this place goes HARD.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Crystal Broadbent: Great gluten-free options!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Laura Anderson: Goji Bistro catered a large lunch for our company and they knocked it our of the park. Diana (sp?) was absolutely wonderful to work with when planning the food choices. She delivered it on time, was just as friendly as could be. We had a lot of specific dietary needs and she answered all my questions and labelled everything beautifully! They food was absolutely delicious! However many dumplings that you think you need, order more! They go fast! I also learned that none of their meals contain MSG - which is a bonus! 5 plus stars!Dietary restrictions: So many dietary options and they were all amazing!!
Rasheda Johnson: I’ve been missing Asian food for a while since I had to go GLUTEN FREE & then I found this wonderful place & they have a whole gluten free menu. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband ordered the Mongolian steak off that menu also because order server Austin recommended it & he loved it. I had the sesame chicken & the summer rolls which were very tasty along with the sauce. Last but not least the costumer service is superb!! Mr. ken(GM) was so welcoming & Austin did an outstanding job waiting on us.
Alexey Bulaev: Worst food I've ever tried in the USA. frozen rice from Costco is better than here. Also they charged tips twice and never said it that you pay tip twice.
Steve Knoblock: My favorite Chinese restaurant dish, Singapore Street Noodles are very good. The fried rice is very good too. Not too salty. Good with shrimp. They have cheese quesadilla for kids, which made my son happy.
Zack Ross: We waited a hour and 5 min to get our order taken then another 30 for food the service was terrible and need more staff… food was good though
Fawn Thayer: I love their gf sesame chicken and fried rice. It's amazing. You will not be disappointed if you go!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Rice …More
Steven Precourt: Probably the best Asian restaurant in Cary. They have a very wide range of Chinese and Thai dishes on the menu and they are all done very well. I've never had a bad dish here. It's pretty amazing how even when they are super busy, the service is always fast, and you never wait more than more than 15 minutes to get your food. The only problem they have is staffing shortages, but that affects every restaurant nowadays.
Dottie Blyth: My friend and I popped in Goji Bistro on a Monday evening looking for a quick bite to eat. I’ve lived in Cary for over a year now but this was my first time stopping by — was pleasantly surprised at the food, atmosphere and service quality! Ken was extremely attentive and recommended the Mongolian Beef, which was delicious. Will be coming back!
Erin Donehoo: Great food and great atmosphere! The Dan Dan Mein was tasty and you can customize the spice level to your liking. The manager Ken is very friendly and focused on creating a positive experience for guests. Good family owned local business!
Brandon Edwards: Ordered lunch to-go. The Mongolian beef was amazing! Good, quality meat used. No cheap China No.1 hole in the wall stuff here. The fried rice was excellent and the hot & sour soup was the best that I have had yet, and it is my go to at any Asian restaurant we visit. Very happy this place is across the street from my office!
Lisa m: The service, atmosphere and food are amazing. They have a large celiac certified gluten free menu and kitchen. We went twice in 3 days. Will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free certified kitchen
Henry M. Lancaster II: Tasty mix of Asian cuisine.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tempura Green Beans, Egg Roll, Singapore Noodles, Green Curry Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
tom w.: Wonderful restaurant, food top notch service is amazing, and it’s clean. server Seamus was incredible. Nice atmosphere for family or date.
Leanne Clute: We originally found Goji Bistro via the Find Me Gluten Free mobile app while out in Cary, in November. Our first experience was wonderful with the food being absolutely delicious! We have visited again since and met the owners during a night where they were short staffed and juggling it all. As a former restaurant worker - I sympathize with the struggle. Despite staff shortage, we had another amazing meal and enjoyed chatting with the owners. This establishment is Celiac knowledgeable and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious, and the cocktails do not disappoint! We look forward to our next outing in Cary and enjoying Goji Bistro again and again!
Travis Horton: Decent Asian food, reasonable prices and quick service. A goto place for a fast mealFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Singapore Noodles …More
Elvin Chicas: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Bobby Sampson Jr.: The Goji Bristo is a cool inviting atmosphere the staff and owner are friendly. Austin was my server, and it was fantastic service by Austin! I got the Red Curry which isn't the spiciest one. But it was up there in spice. Ken came by and explained what happened with the spice. I appreciate the explanation. The waiters made sure we were taken care of the whole time. Great attitudes. Overall the food and the place was good. I have pictures of the curry I started to eat, and a picture of the gluten free menu. I do recommend giving this place a try if you're visiting Cary, NC.Vegetarian options: They have vegan and vegetarian options identified by a green leaf and a green V next to the food items. Austin, my server, mentioned Goji Bristo has all gluten free menu! Most of the major entres have gluten free option that can be made.

Tangerine Cafe: what do users think?
Kori Hennessey: Delicious food! I’m sad to see they’re closing for good!
Sterling Franklin: 11/19 Update - Very sadly, Tangerine Cafe is closing its doors.Food was amazing, and thanks to the Tangerine Cafe staff for 16 great years! If you all ever decide to go delivery-only/no-building-lease-but-make-tasty-food, you still have a lot of customers who love your food! [Original Review Follows: Tangerine Cafe is my favorite Lunch restaurant -- tons of options and everything I've had ranges from good to excellent. The Lunch setup is Soup + Entree and extremely affordable, and I'd recommend that. It's really tough to beat. My favorites are the Thai Coconut soup, Coconut Rice Pudding, and the Indian-Style Curry Chicken. Closed Sundays and Mondays currently (check their site for updated hours just in case, though).]
Steve B: They announced permanent closing effective November 19, 2022After 16 years, Tangerine Cafe will be closing its doors for the last time on Saturday, November 19, 2022. It's been a great run and we're grateful to all of the wonderful staff that have worked with us through the years, as well as you, our loyal customers. We appreciate your business and all of your support through the years. Your continued support helped us survive through the challenge times of the pandemic and, again, we are grateful.Faced with the decision to sign a long-term lease to continue in this space, we decided...it's time to take a break. Tangerine has always been a small, family-run business, and keeping our doors open in recent years has been a challenge. Again, we have nothing but gratitude for the staff and customers that have keep us going, but again...time for a break.THANK YOU AGAIN and we hope you'll come by for a final meal (or two, or three) before we go.
Prajitha Hariharan: Love this place for the food and customer experience. Sadly it's no dine in but food is yummilicious . We love the Mei goreng and pad Thai in particular. We like it spicy and they just hit the right nodes on the spice levels. It's our go to place for any Thai food from years and they haven't disappointed us even once.
James Howard: Excellent food. And they serve Laksa, a rarity!
John Eakes: I got the Lunch Nasi Goreng (Chicken) with Indian lentil soup and the Crispy Calamari. Some of the best food I have had in a while! Really good stuff!
P J: Best Asian food in town. We order Singapore rice noodles almost all the time.Big drawback: Hard to order by phone for pick up during weekends, always busy I guess! Small place to dine in!Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
michelle: No dine in currently.Went here for dinner and was told that food would take 1 hour to cook unless I ordered something ready made like soup or some appetizers. Walked out without ordering.I understand that they are understaffed from the sign on the door, but it's hard to support a restaurant that isn't equipped to make food within a reasonable time. If you plan on ordering from here keep in mind you would need to order ahead of time!
Johnny: First time trying this place and let me say it’s absolutely great. Give this place a try if you haven’t already. Best quality Thai for the price in the area. 🔥🔥
NSA: A M A Z I N GSome of the best chicken satay I've ever had!!Every dish here was really good. great music, nice vibes, great portions and will definitely come back.best Thai I have had in North CarolinaEDIT : THEY HAVE RECENTLY BEEN UNABLE TO SEAT PEOPLE AS THEY HAVE BEEN UNDER STAFFED. PLEASE CALL AND ORDER PICK UPS IF YOU CAN .PLACE IS WORTH SAVING, THE FOOD HERE IS GREAT
David Abbott: Excellent dishes from a variety of Asian cultures. Very convenient take out. Pleasant dining area and wait staff as covid permits.
Lilla Von Duhon: The food here is so delicious. I could eat here everyday.
Juan Morales Patino: This is not Traditional Thai food. Hear me out...I recently moved from Seattle,WA. A city well known for having strong Asian cuisine. [Thai, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Cantonese, Chinese, etc...]. Having lived there for 5+ years I grew accustomed to eating these foods regularly and so having moved here I came with very different expectations.Sadly, the reasoning for the high reviews is simply because the majority of people who eat here have never experienced traditional Thai cuisine. Here is what I ate:Tom Kha [coconut soup]: This dish wasn't half bad, but the truth is that this simply isn't Tom Kha. It's lacking flavor in lemongrass, ginger, and consistency. Also, the soup is stingy on vegetables and protein. Most of the Tom Khas are generous on Carrots, onions, ginger, and chicken/tofu/protein of choice.Chicken Panang Curry [chicken macadamia curry in their menu]: The curry was weird for starters. It was watery, lacked depth, and for a level 3 spicy it was really dull. The chicken was basically Katsu.Pineapple Fried Rice: Their recipe is not bad. Very close to what I'm used to, however, over the phone I was told that spicy level 4 was "asian" spicy and it turns out it's not. This is mainly "American" spicy since the majority of people can't handle Asian spice levels. disappointing to be honest, but if you want spicy.. this is not your dish.Chicken Satay: Out of all the dishes this one was the most accurate. The chicken was well seasoned and grilled properly. The peanut sauce was on the thicker side but it was yummy. 4/5 stars on this one.Dumplings: I ordered the fried dumplings and they weren't half bad. The filling was disproportionate however. needs a little more. Not too shabby however.Overall Score: 2/5I'd you're looking for a place that is more on the Asian American side, then this is fine. If however you're looking for real Thai food, this is not the place.
Jackie Hedges: Everything I've tried here has been great. As a vegan, I very much appreciate all of the tasty, eclectic, vegan versions of dishes. We've tried a lot of the Chinese, Thai, Indian, etc.. take-out places in the area, and this is our favorite. Plus, the staff are lovely and helpful. You really can't go wrong here. The tofu tikka masala, honey walnut tofu, vegan chili chicken, and pakoras are some of my favorites.
Scotty DNC: Got the pad Thai. Ordered medium spicy there was no spice and no flavor. When they put the egg in the put the egg in with the shell. Bits of egg Shell throughout. Worst pad Thai I have ever had.
John Morris: We gave this place a try for lunch while shopping at the plaza. $5 for 2 spring rolls the size of your thumb? So expensive! The thai entree my wife ordered was missing all the essential flavors and ingrediants requisite of the dish. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either. Kinda forgettable.
Maya Mortenson: Delicious food, and the lunch prices are a great deal (dinner prices are reasonable too). I haven't had anything I don't like. I appreciate the menu indicating GF/Vegan too. :) Highly recommended. Do note that during covid, they are only doing takeout lunch on Tuesdays.
M Lowery: I came in to place my order in person. The hostess came over to key info into the register, but did not greet or ask if there was anything she could help me with.I grabbed a menu while she stood there, but she still didn't acknowledge me, though I was the only person in line. She walked away and came back a few mins later. By that time, another lady came. The hostess finally acknowledged me to only ask if I could step to the side so that she could help the other person, because they had a 'take out' order. Rude. I had been standing there the entire time. Needless to say, I left.I don't own a restaurant, but I'm pretty sure that's not how u treat a customer.
Jasmine Wiggins: Supremely disappointed. I ordered take out right before 6pm on a Friday night and was told 1.5 hours before my food would be ready. That was fine with me and not an unusual wait time. I arrived to pay and pick up my order 25 minutes AFTER my order was supposed to be ready. My order wasn’t ready. I was told it would be another 30 minutes and was asked if I wanted to wait. It turns out my order wasn’t even started so I left. Waiting over 2.5 hours for take out didn’t make sense to me.I drove 25 minutes out of my way to patronize this restaurant to celebrate an anniversary with some take-out. I don’t think I’ll be back since my time and gas were wasted.
Sean Ryan: It can be a pretty long wait but the food's great!
Jake Wolfram: The appetizers, entrees, and desserts were amazing, and I could not be more happy with my meal. Will definitely be going back!

Thai Lotus: what do users think?
Eric Smith: Best Thai in the region. The chef is hesitant to make the food hot but what comes out of the kitchen is always great.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Brittni Gochnauer: Pad See Ew was salty and did not have very much flavor/sauce. Chicken was very dry and chewy. The crab angels were cold despite picking the order up when it was ready. The only decent thing in the dish was the broccoli. Disappointed and very surprised this place to see this place almost has a 5 star rating based on my dinner.
nihar Shah: Great food and service . Authentic Thai food in CaryVegetarian options: Great vegetarian optionsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Spring Rolls, Drunken Noodle, Pineapple Fried Rice …More
Shinya A: The restaurant is nice looking and modern but their dishes are a bit over priced for small dishes of Thai food. I don't consider their food to be very authentic Thai. I would rather drive over to Holly Springs where there are other Thai restaurants to choose from.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Rajitha Nair: The food here hits the spot with its spice levels! Service could be betterFood: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Hommy: Had a reunion here with a dear friend and high hopes for great Thai, and was sorely disappointed. My tofu dish was awful but I did not want to send it back, because of the circumstances and it being a distraction. When a man, saying he was the owner, asked us how our meals were, I told him (bluntly) and his response was that the food should be better next time. ??? Hmmmm. Sometimes there is not a "next time." Our young waiter was very polite and the patio area is nice.
Hailey V: Very kind owner/manager and other staff. Pad see ew was AMAZING.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rijul Razdan: Their red curry was top notch. We also ordered pad thai, drunken noodles, and spicy stir fry which as the name suggests was truly spicy. Portion sizes are large enough that 2 people can easily share a single dish. I love that they have vegan options for almost everything.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai Chicken Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
P B: I and my husband always have a great time here. Good food and friendly staff.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Andrea Wilson: Because of the mixed reviews I was going to try this place for lunch. I called up to ask about their lunch menu and was told they only have an all day menu which I found online. At those prices I wasn't going to risk it.
Vidya Shankar: Gracious and friendly host. Food was excellent. The red curry preparation was one that you can keep on and on eating! It was one of the best red curry I have tasted in a long time and I eat Thai food all the time. The basil fried rice was very flavorful and paired well with the red curry.Highly recommend this restaurant.
Brett Figliozzi: Friends - I ordered, picked up, was greeted by incredibly friendly and efficient staff – and BONUS – the food was phenomenal. What more can you ask for? We ordered takeout so we've made the promise to ourselves to dine-in next time. If you're looking for your neighborhood Thai go-to and you're in Cary/Apex, look no further. Absolute 5-stars.
Eddie Cortes: We walked in this empty restaurant to have dinner my meal was very spicy and pork loin was overcooked and tough, chef prepared my meal for a second time it came out even worse. The owner Percy got very loud and rude and said I was not leaving without paying and he will call 911, I said he didn’t need to bother that I was calling 911 instead for his treatment. He was so mad he told me to leave and wait for the police outside and not the sidewalk because he owned the restaurant as well as the sidewalk, I just walked out saying I have never been treated in such an unprofessional way and he said he can act anyway he wants since he owned the place. Customer service was not his priority.Worse experience ever!
Sharon Thomas: Always greeted and treated nice!! Great food.
Lavender Oak: Never had a bad experience with Thai Lotus! My husband and I have been ordering for over 2 years and it's consistently delicious! We've only gotten take out but will one day dine in. Some of our favorite dishes are the curry noodle bowl, pineapple fried rice, tofu larb, Tom kha soup, chicken dumplings, pad see ew, and the cashew stir fry. My current obsession is the tofu larb, it is so flavorful and satisfying! I order it mild and it is just perfection, not spicy at all but enough chili to tingle your taste buds. I like spice but sometimes certain chilies give me a migraine so this is great for me. If you can't handle any spice at all, definitely order "no spice" rather than mild. My husband typically gets hot or Thai hot and it can get veryyyyy spicy, which he loves!Vegetarian options: You can get tofu or veg and vegan style for most dishes!
Lydia Parks: Absolutely delicious! Had to eat here twice this week because it was so good. Tom kha gai soup was great, getting it “hot” was perfectly spicy. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere!
Brandi Webb: Oh man where to start... if I could put no stars, I would. When we arrived we were seated quickly because the place was empty. A table sat with dirty plates on it for over 20 minutes. There were 2 tables seated at the time, and 2 people at the bar. The wait was way too long to get our food (35 mins till we got our main dishes). When we did get our food they gave us a tiny amount of rice for a table of five and exspected $3.50 for extra rice... the curry tasted like it was store bought. I question the authenticity. The phone ringing was obnoxious every 5- 10 minutes. It rang over and over very loudly in a quite restaurant. There wasn't any music, so the ambiance was awful. It was incredibly awkward. The manager/owner runs around talking to his employees about what is going wrong in the kitchen. He apologized but didn't offer any compensation for how crazy and weird the experience was. Other patrons were asking about timing of food and getting upset aswell. The meal costed over $100 for poor serive and, at best, mediocre food.
Allen Lawlis: nom tuk is spicy, but very good
C D: The chicken in my pad Thai was over cooked and rubbery and the noodles were dry and needed more sauce. The spring rolls were all wrapped and little filling. For what they charge, they should have a good cook; however, the staff out front were nice.Way. Overpriced for the value.
Jyosthnavi Gadeela: All the dishes were on sweeter side we ordered thai red curry (thai spicy) even that was way top much on sweet side😏drunken noodles are supposed yo be soft not like hakka noodles😖 the chicken was so dry in fried rice and quantity for the price is less when compared to other thai restaurants in the region. Not happy with the food. We went when it was not busy (sunday dinner) but the waiter dint even come back after we ordered food, he picked up the plate which still has food in it instead of the empty one😖
Yellow Hippie: I ordered the Pad See Ew. The spice was good but the dish had no actual flavor and it was dry. I’ve been eating Thai food since I was a child and this is not good Thai food, unfortunately. Very disappointed. The customer service is great. I really can’t understand how this place is rated 4.5 stars besides the good customer service.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available

Not necessarily a cheap meal we spent just over $30 per person. Food was really good. We tried two apps - dumplings and crab puffs. Both were yummy but come with just 5 of each. The sushi rolls were fantastic as was the pad Thai. A good go to for your sushi list!
