Garry McCormick: Absolutely had the best customer service experience after having to change rooms soon after arriving. Brandon was wonderful and outgoing at initial check-in. After arriving at our first room we noticed the carpet was soaked by the AC unit (suspect plugged water drain). I went back down to the desk, he apologized and we were able to quickly change rooms. He was pleasant and cheerful throughout the entire process. We had breakfast the next morning and it was $13/person. The breakfast bar area was exceptionally clean. The food was appealing and had good taste for their offerings.

Catherine Mallory: We checked in on a Monday. My husband had Navy duty and I tagged along. The room and location was fine. It was what happened 2 days later that made me give less stars for overall and service. At around 2:30pm we had gone back upstairs to discover that there was no water. We came back downstairs to ask. We were told it should be back in an hour. So we left and 5 hours later we returned, went back up to our room, and still no water. Back down we went to ask and were told that "the part could not be found". Again we asked how long and were told they didn't know.We returned to our room and talked about it, not sure what to do. He called the Navy and I went outside to see if I saw any plumbing trucks, and nothing was there.I met 4 other people, who were all checking out. I went back upstairs to join my husband and we decided to call other hotels to find a roomWe checked out at 8:30, and we were charged for part of the day because we checked out late. We should have moved earlier but we were told it would be back on in an hour, twice!We checked into another hotel, down the street, and they have water!They did give us a letter we asked for stating there was no water, so that the Navy may pay for our 2nd hotel, so I gave 2 stars.But seriously, the health hazards of not being able to flush toilets and disregarding that fact were not acceptable to us.

David C. Allen: Biggest problem was reserved a handicapped wheelchair accessible with a wheelchair accessible shower. Was put in room that did not meet those requirements. They eventually moved me into the right room. This is second time this has happened at this hotel. 1st time was over Easter weekend. The staff was excellent. Especially the staff that did the breakfast service.

Kat T: This hotels location is great for our business needs and we have stayed many times, this time however was not great. We'd asked for a ground floor room, and when checking in, they gave us the 5th floor but quickly changed it when we asked. Thinking we should have kept the 5th floor as room 118 was very obviously a pet room as it stunk like crazy. We endured but asked if they could deodorize the rugs on our 2nd day, if they did it, it really didn't help. 118 needs to be gutted, carpets torn up, bathroom door replaced, tub refinished and made from scratch.A fire alarm early Thursday morning was a bit disturbing as well.All of the ladies we encountered were super helpful and friendly but not so much for the young man who checked us out, Gerard (?) He definitely was not service friendly.

SM: I've stayed at this hotel a couple times and absolutely love it. The rooms are big, beds are really comfortable, plenty of hot water. The people at the front desk are so nice and helpful. Especially the young woman that works there. I hate that I can't remember her name, I want to say Zee or something. She went out of her way to come up and fix our TV. Very kind and has a very chill vibe about her. I would recommend this place to everyone. The only thing I would change, would be the bathroom. Not a fan of the double doors. Other than that, great room and great experience each time. I don't know why this place has so many 1 star reviews. No place is perfect, people need to relax.

I have had room key issues all week. Whatever, get what you pay for Last night here, I come back from a baseball game and I ask for new key to get ahead of it. Doesn’t work. I go down and ask for another one and get immediate attitude and am told I threw the key when key was literally on the counter in front of me. She then told me she wouldn’t give me new key and I had to wait until new person came in. Took me me 5 minutes of staying my case. Terrible TERRIBLE service. Constance Crouse: If you have business in Cary, NC, a suburb of Raleigh, this would be a very good location. Although the traffic is high, you can walk to Walmart, grocery store, and a small mall. Lisa Anderson: The hotel was ok but we experienced too many problems. The room was spacious we liked that. The issues were the toilet overflowed, the telephone didn't work to call to get help, the cable went out for hours, the ice machines didn't work on my floor you have to go hunt down another machine that works. The pool is closed for reconstruction but it doesn't say that in their website only that the hot tub was under reconstruction. The worst part was the rudeness of the manager of the hotel. She acts like she doesn't care about issues we had and her attitude is like whatever. Not going to stay here again just because of her she needs to check into another job not servicing people.

Henny: I won’t get into details, pictures speak 1,000 words. I’ll only add explanations for certain pictures. -The basket on the counter for “express checkout”, that is simply pure laziness. The employee sits around the corner on a cellphone and does not Acknowledge guest leaving. Not sure how that’s defined as customer service. -the room lighting, half the bulbs were missing or flickering… overall, this facility is a last resort. Not recommended for any reason.Food & drinks: Not appetizing AT ALL. All good is simply heated freezer items and all drinks are watered down and have no flavor. Only decent item is the self making waffle section.

Jason Shipp: Comfortable room, nice location. My favorite feature was that room faced back of hotel to west, a screen of trees and on ramp to highway. There was virtually no light and very quiet. Couch hadn’t been cleaned around for a while. There was a t-shirt on floor beside couch, not ours. Pool was nice, water warm. Lower floor walking from pool to elevator smelled bad, like animal feces. Not sure what that was about. Breakfast was okay (instant eggs watery, cinnamon roll old and dry).

Angelina Jackura: Oh where to begin… I actually live in the area, but wanted to book a room for the night for my daughter and I for her 11th birthday because this location has an indoor heated pool (my daughter has battled cancer for a long time and swimming is one of the few activities she can actually do because she cannot walk) The self proclaimed managers, Jaqueline and Shrimp were condescending and extremely unfriendly from the second we walked in. The hotel itself was fine, but while sitting in our room in the office chair, my daughter suddenly fell back after the leg of the chair broke, hitting her head on the floor. When I reported the incident to the staff, they were more concerned about the chair itself than my daughter. Then when we were getting ready to check out (we were told we could do a late check out at 12:00) someone came and knocked at the door. I was in my bra and underwear, so quickly grabbed the first towel I saw which turned out to be a hand towel, so I barely opened the door to see what they wanted and it was Shrimp, asking me why we hadn’t left yet. I told him that we would be leaving at 12, at which point he told me it was 12:20. Turns out the clock in our room was an hour behind. I apologized and told him we would get out asap, at which point he said “if you’re not our by 12:30 I’m calling the police for trespassing. Do you not know how to follow rules????!!!” Throughout the conversation I asked if he could wait so that I could put some clothes on, but he stood there for at least 5 minutes berating me. I cannot tell you how weird the whole encounter was. Needless to say, I felt very uncomfortable. My daughter , who was there to celebrate her birthday, also had to witness the whole ordeal. As we were leaving, I inquired about my $100 deposit, and Jaqueline said “you will be receiving your deposit, not that you deserve it after spilling juice on the sheets. In fact, I’m giving you three minutes to leave the premises or I am calling the police for trespassing.” I keep running the whole experience thru my mind, and I am still thoroughly confused by the events that took place. Not only was there not an apology for my daughter getting injured in their chair on their property, but I was belittled, berated in the nude, and consistently threatened. It’s sad because the hotel itself isn’t bad, but every member of the staff was not only rude, but behaved as if they were the customers.
