Yang Shoe Repair Shop: what do users think?
Jay Pehr: Great experience today with a zipper repair on-the-spot! They have also helped me with shoe repair and a few laundry items. Great service, prices, and very friendly. Thank you!!
Misun Kim: The Yang family is very professional det cleaners. Kind, always on time and never loose any cloth nor damaging cloth. Mrs. Yang is the sweetheart and she is very good seamstress. Highly recommend
John Williams: Very, very good service. Friendly and professional.
Nicole M. de Martinez: I brought in a dress to be shortened and the seamstress showed me that flow of the dress really looked best at the length it was. Shortening it would have changed the personality of the dress entirely. I truly appreciated her expert eye and the willingness to lose a bit of money to ensure I didn’t destroy an expensive dress.
Veronica De La Rosa - Clark: Best cleaners, shoe care, and tailoring in the area. You can absolutely trust them with your wardrobe. They custom fit clothes to perfection.
John Ramos: Excellent tailor for reasonable prices. I’ve had 3 pairs of pants hemmed here- 100% satisfied.
Paul Scrimgeour: Quality workmanship
robin Vitale: So happy!I needed my favorite shoes repaired and was turned away by another place....but Yang's was able to fix them❤️
Arciel Rekman (RCL): I have used the place several times for cleaning my suit and I am very satisfied with everything - speed, price and quality of cleaning.
Sam Brinton: Did a wonderful and quick job repairing my shoes! Owners are very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Carlos Delaney: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Douglas Noreen: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueA great dry cleaner. I have used them for years and always had great service and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are super nice and friendly. I've also had them resole several pairs of shoes and have been very happy with the quality of the work. I highly recommend Yang Cleaners for both dry cleaning and shoe repair.
Claire Richardson: So nice. They were very efficient and pleasant to work with. Excellent location, easy to find.
Zachary Toma: Helpful staff
Sarah Hooper: So efficient and friendly. A great family business and such kind employees!! Got my bridesmaid dress altered here and it was done perfectly.
Angela Tate: Very nice and professional.
Zack Wojenski: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Siddall Miles: I am a professional photographer. I had a custom suit made and needed it to be dry cleaned for a client who booked a photo shoot. I brought the suit in a week before the photo shoot and picked it up the day before the shoot. However, the suit is damaged due to their Negligence. The owners to this establishment to whom I trust would do the right thing were not willing to help me resolve the issue. So now I will need to compensate my clients for their inconvenience. I have been a customer with this cleaners for years. I am just appalled how they handled the situation at hand. I was calm and polite the whole time. I am very disappointed how it turn out. I will no longer do any business with them and I will not recommend anyone to them.
Art: I needed a pair of shoes repaired. Sign says they offer this service. Asked the gentleman if the shoes I brought were worth repairing. They needed work on the leather lining especially behind the heel. He looked them over and stated "No solution." Fair enough I do appreciate a straight answer. I will go back as needed in future as honesty is valuable today.
Don Locklear: Awesome experience with this business done a great job on my boot restitched it for me and very friendly and great price highly recommend..
Miguel Lozada: Family owned and run business. Great dry cleaning, show repair and Customer service. Been going to them for over 5 years. Highly recommended. Support your local business person

Hakky Tailor & Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Kristi Goddard: This was my first time ever using this company to repair my shoes and so far, I am thoroughly impressed! They came highly recommended by a friend. Considering the fact that I have lived in my area for 23 plus years now, it was shocking to find out from the gentleman in the store that they have been there for 22! Needless to say they have staying power and are obviously doing something right! I look forward to the results of my shoes as my friend always Raves about the wonderful work they do! At first it sounded as though they will be expensive, but in the end the price was very fair and competitive! I think I'm getting a really good deal considering the work I'm having done! Two pairs of Italian leather made boots with heels repaired on both! $35 doesn't seem too bad to me!FYI: I did have a pair of cowboy boots that I wanted to have repaired, but to have the souls completely redone on those would have cost me $55 per shoe which was actually more than I paid for the pair of boots! Needless to say, I think I just need to break down and buy a new pair of cowbody boots!🤭 Oh yeH, you do pay up front, so be prepared for that!
Taylor Shropshire: Hakky Shoe repair was very friendly and good at communicating via text to keep me updated on the repair of my shoes.
Cherlki Kim: Great work repairingone for my wife´s heel and one for my dressshoe sole and heels are perfect. price is also good enought thank you
Tim Riordan: Old guy was pretty good. New young guy is not. Paid $90 upfront for new half soles and heals on mens dress shoes. When I picked them up they had glue all over them and one sole was half an inch wider than the other. He did scrap the excess glue off but could not change the uneven soles. I had to throw my shoes away. They looked awful with one wider than the other.
Al Holt: Good and quick work that is reasonably priced
Curly Amazon: This was my first and last time taking shoes here for repair. Very poor workmanship and terrible customer service. I brought in a pair of pumps to have the taps on the heels replaced. Really, only one tap needed replacing, but the repairman said that if he replaced one he had to replace the other. I also asked him to dye the tips of the shoes because the color had worn off. He said that would cost an extra $5 because he would have to blend the dye in with the upper part of the shoes -- I had no problem with that. However, I did find it odd that he would not shine the back of the shoes without charging an additional $5. It's been my experience at other shoe repair places that shining the shoes is part of the repair service. When I returned to pick up the shoes a few days later, I examined them carefully. The dye job was fine, but I noticed the taps he replaced were not completely flush with the bottoms of the heels. You could see large gaps between the taps and the heels. When I asked the repairman about this, he said he could not push the taps all the way in because the bottoms of the heels were slightly worn down. While it's true that the bottoms of the heels are slightly worn, I have taken those same heels to other shoe repair places to have the taps replaced, and they had no problem pushing the taps all the way in without leaving gaps. Moreover, when I brought the shoes in to Hakky for repair, there were no gaps between the taps and the heels. The Hakky repairman insisted he couldn't do it. Due to an obvious language barrier, he started to draw useless pictures in an attempt to show me why he couldn't replace the taps properly. Then he showed me other customers' shoes he repaired for comparison - the problem is that one of the pairs of heels he showed me had damage to the bottom of the heel that was worse than mine, and he was able to replace the taps on the heels without leaving gaps. When I pointed that out to him, he became defensive and denied that there was any difference between the work he did on the other pair of heels compared to mine. I told him the shoddy work on my shoes was not standard practice as other shoe repair places have had no problem replacing the taps on the same heels he claimed to be so problematic. He told me I should have taken my shoes elsewhere and then he said it was my fault for not telling him about the heels. I told him that I wasn't aware of a problem with the heels that was worth bringing to his attention since others in his same industry have repaired those shoes without issue. Moreover, I reminded him that he fully examined the heels when I brought them in for repair, and if he noticed a problem that would prevent him from fixing the shoes properly, it was his responsibility to notify me. He continued to say it was my fault. He was also talking loudly and talking over me. I was completely appalled by his childish behavior, and it confirms why this place has so many negative reviews. Because I was required to pay for the repair at the time I dropped off the shoes (another huge red flag), I had no choice but to take the shoes and leave. I will never take another pair of shoes here for repair, and I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Samantha A.: Great work repairing a bleach stain on my husband's leather shoes!
dave renn: I brought in a baseball cap that the dog got hold of and needed it for a game that was in less than 2 hours... It was a simple repair and they had it expertly done while I waited. Great customer service for me.
Silvia Q: I brought a very expensive pair of boots to be replaced the heels. They did an amazing job. Now, i have a brand new boots. Very affordable and outstanding customer service.
Denita W: Great service. Nice staff!
Arrvid Carlson: Full service cobbler, also tailoring and key copies but only used the cobbler service. Restored a shoe for my wife and daughter and both were dancing afterwards. Expect several days for turnaround.
Christian Jones: Ok. Wasn't able to fix my shoes, but was honest that he couldn't do it.
Amy Stevens: Been going to them for years they do great work
Jess Rosko: Took leather boots in to get cleaned. He charged me upfront and only cleaned the outside. Bottom and inside went untouched. Make sure you specify if that’s what you want.
Dwaine Tillery: Great work......I had an idea and he made it into reality!
Laura Patterson: I went to Hakky's with a complicated case since Hakky's is a shoe repair and tailor. I brought a handmade, custom backpack made of certified Harris Tweed with leather straps to Hakky's. The straps needed to be removed and reattached in a different position to be worn comfortably. Hakky's staff did an incredible job! I can barely tell where they had to disassemble and reassemble the bag. My expectations are far exceeded! I will now be a repeat customer. Highly recommended!
Derrick Smith: Got my shoes "streched" supposed to be half a size bigger. Got my shoes back and they are the exact same! Charged me for nothing
Karen Barlow: The service is great here. They explain what needs to be done to your shoes. They tell you the price up front. The work is done on time and with exceptional workmanship. Have had them repair a purse and a backpack too.
Meredith Gummerson: I have taken in everything from pants to be hemmed to an expensive designer coat and dress to have the sides brought in, swimsuits that basically had to be reconfigured, and tops and dresses that needed padding to be put into them. Every single time, they have done a fabulous job and my pieces have been ready on time. Would certainly recommend and will continue to be a loyal customer here!
Catherine: Didn't fix. When pointed out, refused to admit. Awful customer service.
Cassidy Gerald: Quick quality service, sweet people!

H & H Shoe Repair & Pedorthic: what do users think?
david michaux: My man! Great business, no time wasted, reasonable pricing. Any shoe or boot i have goes here!
Kim Fahey: I was traveling and my heel broke off. They were able to fix it on the spot. Thank you!!
Trevor Cox: Excellent work and very nice staff. Highly recommended.
Jon Strout: Quick service, Troy had great customer service. Will go back.
Teddy Branch: I dropped my shoes off and got my legs measured and the lady I talked to was wonderful. And she helped me. Will post update when I get my shoes back.
LeighAnn Canulli: My daughter was excepted into a military college that required her to wear a specific style of dress shoe, she has extremely narrow feet and no matter what we did we could not get the shoe to fit her foot. We came to H&H shoe repair with the hopes that they could either fix the shoe or help us with inserts or some guidance as to how to make the shoe fit her foot better. The gentleman that helped us (I don’t remember his name) was amazing he gave us better inserts and a few tips on how to make the shoe tighter and fit her foot better. If you have any problems with how your shoes fit your feet this is the place to come. Very knowledgeable and helpful!
Jeffrey Martin: My wife has had all her shoe work done here for 5+ years and she is always happy with the results.
Michael Mason: Amazing and very professional. Helped create a new shoe for my club foot!!! Going back today to get a second pair!!!
Tessa Toomey: I LOVE this place! Always super friendly, they do beautiful work on any shoes I’ve ever taken in there, and they’re really good about setting repair cost expectations upfront (which have always been reasonable). I took a pair of high heeled sandals in there today and they punched extra holes in the straps for me for free in about two minutes, which was really nice of them. Great place!!
Grace Danuck: This is the best sugar pear place I have ever used. And I have used at least three. Their work is excellent for accuracy and cosmetic appeal. They also sell shoes that are arthritis friendly.
Mike Friedman: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Jennifer Wyatt: My go to for shoe repair. I’ve used themSo many times.
Samantha: I need the bottoms of my shoes built up, and a physical therapist recommended I go here. They have now worked on 3 pairs for me. For what I need, it's $50/shoe, and it usually takes them less than a week. It's not the finest craftsmanship or most excellent customer service, as none of the employees have said anything to me other than about the transaction, but they get the job done. My shoes have held up as much as expected over time, so I don't have any horror stories. However, I'd be willing to go elsewhere if it were more affordable or similarly priced with more personable service.
Todd Grooms: I have worn orthotics since I was 13. I have had a difficult finding someone who could make an orthotic for me that didn't end up hurting my ankles and knees. Fast forward 33 years and my chiropractor said that I should check out H and H. I can't say enough good things about them. Liz took the time to throughly examine my feet and gait and made me a pair of orthotics that fit perfectly and have allowed me to get into a wide shoe instead of an extra wide shoe. They were also able to widen my cycling shoes without me having to remove the cleats. I would recommend them to anyone who needs orthotics or shoe adjustments.
Benjamin Gurlitz: I brought in a pair of Allen Edmonds to have the heel and sole replaced. Upon dropping them off, I was surprised at the price and quick turn around. The entire job cost $60.00 and they would be ready in three days. When I picked up my shoes three days later, I surprised at the poor quality of craftsmanship and the the poor quality of the materials used. Normally, when a pair of shoes is resoled, the cobbler carves out a small channel in the sole and sews the stitches into the channel. Instead of taking the time to carve out a channel, the cobbler made a little slit. Most of the stitches went into the little slit, but some did not. Not only was the craftsmanship sloppily done, it was so sloppily done that it effected the durability of the repair. They also polished my shoes and I'm pretty sure they used a cheap petroleum based product. What's more, the materials they used seemed to be below par. I'm not an expert on sole leather, but after wearing my shoes a few times, it became very clear that the soles would need to be replaced within 6-8 months (they should last for at least year).Bottom line: If you're not a shoe person, then this place is viable. It's cheap and the turn around time is very good. If you are a shoe person, you will be disappointed. The point of purchasing expensive shoes is that, over the long run, they will be cheaper because one only needs to replace the soles instead of getting a new pair of shoes. If you go here, you will absolutely have to replace the soles more often and it will end up being more expensive.
Malisa Price: Great repair work on a leather pair of boots. Quick turnaround and now I have better soles than the originals were!
Tessa Hine: My wedding shoes are ruined!Chose this place after reading all the good reviews. I took my wedding shoes here to get them dyed the color of my bridesmaids dresses. I'm so extremely disappointed with the results and service. Granted, they were ivory, not white, so I wasn't expecting perfect, but when I bring my shoes in with the swatch and you tell me it can be done, I expect a good job.... especially for the shoes I'm wearing on my wedding day!The dye job is so terrible it's embarrassing. I can't wear them on my wedding day, and have pictures taken of them! The dye is darker in areas on the bow... Which is front and center, a focal point of the shoes, it makes the shoes look dirty. Some areas are barely dyed, and still look White. I was so disappointed when I got these back, and I even expressed this and told the girl "I can't wear these for my wedding, these look awful". She just shrugged and basically told me if I want to find another pair that is actually white "she'd probably work with me on the price". I'm sorry...What makes you think I'd come back after my wedding shoes were already ruined, and pay again!!?? It wouldn't be so bad if the lady would have come out and talked to me and told me what to expect, but she didn't.. nobody did. All I got was a simple "yep she can do it", and I was so thrilled to hear it could be done. I most likely would not have opted to get them dyed if someone had come out and talked to me - letting me know they could possibly be ruined. I was already on the fence about not dying them as it was. So upsetting! I cannot even begin to express my disappointment. As if planning a wedding isn't stressful enough! Now I have to find another pair of shoes bc these aren't even in stock in my size anymore, and it took me MONTHS just to settle on these shoes. I can't even find these in my size and the right color anywhere now, they are sold out!
Amy Grindstaff: What they can do for shoes is amazing, and it helps me walk better and easier (mobility disability). Friendly, helpful staff, pretty shoes for sale, and almost every kind of foot related thing you need! Come to H&H!
Martha Lowrance: The staff is experienced and helpful. They are always willing to answer questions and make suggestions when asked. I take all my shoes, purses and book bags that need repair to them and have never been disappointed during over two dozen years I have used their services. I refer friends looking for competent caring shoe services to them. Martha Lowrance
Hilary M: They repaired my hiking boot hook. Originally they told me it would be a week when I asked if they could do it sooner, they were very nice and made it happen in 5 days so I could take them on my upcoming trip!
Shruti Tannan, MD: H&H Shoe Repair is simply the best. They are very good, they stand behind their work, and they will not nickel and dime you. These are dedicated professionals, and I will gladly make the 20 min drive to go to them to take care of my high heels/pumps.
