J J K: These people are the lowest form of life on the planet.They own several lots downtown with ZERO signage indicating that they are fee lots.They were out en masse on CHRISTMAS EVE writing as many tickets as possible.Lowest form of trash.

Kori Mo: They prey and wait for people meter time to run out . I was literally charged for 7 minutes . But, they don't refund you if you don't use all the time. Imagine that. I don't care where I have to be, I will never park in one their spaces again.

RICHARD BILA: RIDICULOUS!! I parked in one of their spaces downtown Raleigh, I had two kids with me and realized I forgot my wallet so I did not pay for parking. We were literally in the space for 40 minutes. I came to my vehicle and there was a citation for $28.00. I appealed and stated I forgot my wallet and would be happy to pay for the time I was in the space. They denied my appeal and made me pay the $28.00 fine. I mean seriously how greedy can you be!!! Never again will I use their services.

Kiya Sowers: I’ve never even used royal parking before and yet we still have beef. I went down town one night to a place 20 minutes walking distance from the nearest one of these, so obviously I wouldn’t and didn’t park there. A MONTH LATER I get a letter in the mail with my license number on it saying I owe over $50 for a parking citation saying I parked in their parking lot. I called and emailed stating I have no problem paying as long as there is proof of this because I was never given a citation the night it happened. No one will talk to me, I guess they’re a scam then.

Kimberly Castro: Parked in one of the lots in downtown Raleigh and it was so easy to pay and convenient! They valet for great restaurants and are great to use for special events. I 100% recommend using royal parking!

Alex Snyder: Paid for 2h parking and refilled my account after some time. Turns out I had transposed a couple letters on my license plate so I received a citation. No big deal, but the appeal system didn't acknowledge the refilled time and you can only appeal once so now I'm stuck paying for the parking citation. Great job, keep it up.

Brandon Fandel: NEVER EVER give your keys to this company.I gave them the keys to my 2018 Ford Raptor, and they drove away with it before they gave me a ticket. They gave me the ticket which states they are not responsible for anything that happens to the vehicle - I was not given this before they took my vehicle and I was not given the opportunity to consent to these terms.When they brought the vehicle back to me, the back window was smashed and there was about $3,000 worth of damage (according to my insurance company), and several items were stolen.They said "sorry" then ran away once I began speaking with the police.I spoke with the owner of the company several times, Brock - who was less than helpful. He blamed the incident on everyone but his company and even went as far as lying about other incidents that have not happened.Thankfully my insurance company covered the damages, but did not cover the stolen items (worth about $150) and had to pay a $100 deductible.I asked Brock to reimburse me for the deductible and the stolen items ($250), since insurance covered the rest. He responded "take me to court."DO NOT EVER use this service.

David G: CHECK YOUR VEHICLE ALL THE WAY AROUND BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION FROM THE VALET!!!Had my car valet parked by Royal Parking at Vidrio in downtown Raleigh. Noticed this odd dent at the upper corner of the trunk the next morning (drove from the restaurant directly home & nowhere else the night before).Went back IMMEDIATELY upon noticing the damage. They stated they’re not responsible once the customer takes possession of the vehicle.I spoke to Terrill (Royal Parking’s representative) about the situation. He said the car was parked in the open lot near Mirage night club and that there are video cameras on the lot. He said it would take about a week but he would get with the owner, review the video footage and get back with me.A week went by.. heard NOTHING from Terrill. I called and he said they were still working on it. Another week went by.. heard NOTHING. Called Terrill.. said they were having difficulty obtaining the video.Waited another week.. heard nothing.. tried calling Terrill several times.. no answer.. no response.It is bad enough that section of Raleigh has few good restaurant options but to make matters worse, both Sullivan’s & Vidrio contract Royal Parking for their valet parking service.This was an expensive lesson for me. From now on, I will be much more critical IF I ever use a valet service & will absolutely avoid Royal Parking when going downtown.
