Neha Patel: Nice folks, family run Venezuelans, very authentic, prices a bit high for some of the sandwiches. I got a pepita, and it has those crunchy potato sticks, which were just too salty to eat along with the meat. Worth a try, maybe get a arepas or fully loaded hot dog instead.Parking: Around 5 spots but you can find an odd spot in the gravel.

Marisol Hydock: The food is delicious and fresh. The service was friendly and prompt. I arrived at about 12:30 for lunch and even though my arepa was being fried fresh (you can opt for grilled instead), I waited less than 10 minutes. The arepa was surprisingly filling. Another plus is that you can order ahead and just pick it up.

Brian Williams: I was in town for work and was going to the gym next door to this place. I love empanadas! So I had to go in and try this place out. First, I got the beef and chicken patagon, and it did not disappoint. It was so delicious. I had a little room left, so I got a couple of empanadas to go. Cheesy beef and steak and cheese. It was so good. I definitely will be back to try more items from this awesome place!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and welcoming staff!

The Catt: Food is delicious. But man, the service. Friendly, but time has no meaning in this place. "4 minutes" somehow turns into 15, but part of your order was ready more than 10 minutes ago, so now half of the order is cold and half is hot.Food: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

V Sto: We use to be loyal customers. Not anymore. Yesterday we ordered via uber eats and got flan/quesillo that had mold on its side. I would have thought it to be a fluke but it's the second time we got old food. First time was a pizza empanada. I bit into it before I discovered it was old. The sauce had clunked up. The pepperoni had turned blue/gray. The food used to be amazing. I don't know what happaned to your restaurant. Food there used to be so much better.
Cyrus Asgari: I used UberEats to order: Yuca Fries, Salchipapa and Inca Cola1- Yuca fries were not bad, however I couldn’t eat all of them and I’ll explain why below;2- The Salchipapa was okay. Salty, but the sausages were well cooked. However, I had too many fries and the sauce overwhelmed the flavor with the amount of salt there was in the sausages and fries. I threw out the food half done…considering this was $10, it wasn’t worth eating it at all.3- My Inca Cola was expired since Feb 23, 2023. I wish I was lying but as soon as I turned the can down I noticed the expiration date and the can went straight to the trash unopened. I reported this to Uber as a health safety violation and I was fully compensated for my meal. The drink cost me $3, and that’s too bad.I was really excited to try this restaurant but I’m actually enjoying a chicken vegetable bowl that cost me a few bucks to get and tastes so good.. This restaurant has a lot of room to grow. AND CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES ON YOUR SODAS!
Maheen Sayeed: The food was not bad but they gave us a crab empanada when we asked for chicken, someone with a shellfish allergy could get seriously sick if they ate it assuming it’s chicken.
Rosa Callejas: Las mejores empanadas y arepas.
Panama 2018: They must have changed cooks or owners flavor gone
Amayrani Jacinto: Love this location very friendly staff and yummy food!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Christina H: We have eaten here 7-8 times. We love the food, so I would love to give five stars, but they are understaffed. The same person who takes orders is also responsible for packaging food, creating a bottleneck that creates wait times that are unnecessarily long. The other day I was picking up food at lunch time, and the food was ready more than 10 minutes past its estimated time. I had a similar thing a couple of months ago at dinner, only the extra wait was longer than 10 minutes. A few other times, our food has been ready on time without issue, so YMMV. Further, if you get takeout, I would double check your food, as sometimes there is a goof. I definitely recommend eating here, I just recommend being prepared to be patient if you hit them at a busy time.

Valentina Teran: Yummy food
María Corina Roldán Robles: There's not an easy way to say this, but I've found the best place to eat Venezuelan food. The "not an easy" part is that there's not Pana's Flavor in Miami.I was in Raleigh craving empanadas, and Goood: I almost ate the whole foodtruck. The service is also extremely good.
Virginia Juncos: Excellent quality food and service. Pretty fast and also efficient. Great Venezuelan food. Y’all also gotta try the Argentinian chorizo they have. Highly recommended!
Joseph Peoples: Everyone in the triangle needs to experience Venezuelan food THIS WAY!!! Carlos brought his love for Venezuelan culture and cooking to Raleigh for YOU to experience, and it tastes incredible!! Milena Tallarico: Deliciosas las empanadas!! Los tequeños uffff. Hoy fui por primera vez y me enamoré! Cada mordisco era tocar la gloria :)
Angela McLinton: Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. Will absolutely try again.
Oscar Sica: Muy buena comida es para llevar tiene unas mesas pero el sol es demasiado
Fernando Laya Mendoza: It’s definitely a good place to eat, it’s good Venezuelan food, the cheese is authentically Venezuelan Cheese , the price is a bit high for the size of the portion and I would like the cachapa to be a little more natural, made entirely of corn!
Joan Manuel Becerra Ordoñez: I'm not going to lie. The food was very good. And the presentation was all right even though they serve it on a food truck next to a dumpster. However, their prices are so very high. It seems to be a common trend on Venezuelan food places for some reason. 14$ for a cachapa, and 8$ for each empanada is very excessive specially with their limited choices. But again, good food and decent presentation.
Alfonzo Hernandez: Muy buena comida y atencion
Sam Pepple: The tequenos are devilishly delightful. The empanadas are big bursting bombs of flavor. Don't sleep on the wonderful world of Pana's Flavor!
sxxxlxl: Great Venezuelan food 👌 just excellent keep the good work, clean and great quality food .HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Jack Z: Guasaca had zero communication about their fourth of July hours. Nothing on social media. Not answering their phone. Updates on Google. There are much smaller operations with much better communication.Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Steve Meisel: Great place for a weekday lunch. Food is very good.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chips, Salsa Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking …More
Augster O: This place is really cool. It’s the same as “other” places, but not burritos. Arepas. Arepas are smaller and made of, like, cornbread. We tried nearly every arepas in our group. Everything was great. The chips are good also. The salsa they give you with the chips is sweet, instead of spicy. That was odd. I liked it, but it’ll take some getting used to.I really loved the arepas I had and would gladly go back.Plenty of indoor seating. They also have outdoor seating.
Bruce Gibson: Do not plan on ordering and eating food in the restaurant. The counter service is horrible! You have to stand in line (even if you are the only customer there) while they prepare all the to-go orders. This evening I was the only customer in the whole restaurant and waited 10 minutes. That is not acceptable. I live next door but will not be back.
Linda Endow Hall: We decided on a night out to eat dinner, and my son and daughter-in-law chose Guasaca because I LOVE ethnic food. The choices of arepas could meet ANY dieters' needs. The service was fast, and the food was reasonably priced and delicious! Gracias, Guasaca!Vegetarian options: The menu includes vegan and vegetarian options.
Yog Parihar: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Myles Ballestracci: Best bowl in town! Ingredients taste fresher than Chipotle. The 4 star for atmosphere is due to chairs not having pads on the bottom. Every time a chair is moved it makes a really grating noise.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Shredded Chicken …More
Swick Jeff: it's pre-cooked and assembly line so you get what protein and toppings you want. reasonably priced...Vegetarian options: veggie arepa... salads
Alex Jackson: Decor reminds me of tin drum if you know that chain. Would was respectfully decent only got a lower rating because it decreased in quality from before the pandemic. Guac wasn't as fresh. But the staff was amazing.Kid-friendliness: I have 2 under 4. they needed seating ( high chairs) and Guasaca provided

Shriya Amit: Ordered a shredded chicken bowl and their signature avocado arepa - both were totally bland and didn’t satisfy my taste buds even after adding some hot sauce. The corn bread pockets were warm but were a little undercooked. Shredded chicken also didn’t meet the expectations. Im not sure if I’d come back to try other items anytime soon.
Abby Farnsworth: I LOVE this place! I drive so far out of my way just to get the arepas and salsa. I wish there were more locations!Kid-friendliness: This is my son's favorite restaurant!
Stephane Henrion: Great food at a great price. I highly recommend the plantains!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Grilled Chicken Bowl, Cilantro Sauce …More
Tiger Hebert: The arepas are so good!
James Fouts: Great find. Hadn’t tried arepas before. Stopped in here due to the reviews and it did not disappoint. It was a Saturday afternoon and you could tell they stay pretty steady, even with the location not being in a busy shopping area like Park West. The restaurant was clean and we were greeted by the friendly employee at the counter. He let us know their tops sellers and made some recommendations. I went with the grilled chicken arepa and my wife had the steak bowl. They were both fantastic and well worth the price. This will now be in our usual rotation for lunch and dinner.
Mae Golden: Guasaca never disappoints. Their arepas are always delicious and the staff is so helpful and friendlyDietary restrictions: Gluten free options available
William Foxworth: Great food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alisha A: Delicious already prepared South American food.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes White Cheese, Sauce, Cilantro Sauce …More
David Bethiel: Overrated. We ordered online and picked up the meal. The food was on time. That's the best I can say. There is no obvious way to decode what they write on the wrappers to know which sandwich is which. They flat out missed ALL of the sodas. There were no utensils or plates. The food was ok. Definitely nothing bad to say about that. But there are other places you can get similar food at, so ... nothing unique. Not particularly cheap, so no bargain.Overall just ok.

BD: When visiting this establishment, I recommend carefully reviewing your bill each time. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I was overcharged for an item I did not order. It was also disappointing that they didn't clarify the additional cost for guacamole, especially considering the restaurant's name is Guasaca. Consider holding your tip until you have received your service.
G V Debnam: My friend introduced me to Guasaca and this was our 2nd visit together. I enjoyed the chicken arepas! He always insists on fettung a side of Guasaca. I'll be back and may bring my nephew.Parking: Going at the peak of lunch time typically means some extra time to find a parking spot but that's because there are some many restaurants and businesses right there together.

Scott Hutcheson: Wife and I visited for the first time in a few years. It used to be delicious, but this time it was very different. We went in around 5:30pm on a Tuesday and the food all tasted old. My wife and I ordered the fried chicken arepas and the "fried chicken" was just breading, there was literally no chicken in the breading. The arepas did not taste fresh. They did make my wife a new fried chicken arepa, but I had already eaten mine before I discovered what I was eating. I also had the grilled chicken, but it tasted like it had been sitting around for awhile. It was extremely disappointing.
Kent Wetherhold: My wife and I were looking for a simple, quick lunch. We love Mexican and they were on our way. Plenty of parking with easy access. Service was quick and the Arepas were excellent. Been there twice and we'll be going again soon. Highly recommend.
Poeta Oscuro: White lady was racist and pretend she didn’t understand my English. She would also charge more if I ask for just one more green sauce, a problem I didn’t have before with anyone else working there. Great food, bad service.
Heath Buckmaster: One of the best fast food meals in a long time. Strong and bold flavours and fast friendly service. We had the chicken and steak arepas which were fantastic but the highlight is their guacamole. Delicious.Recommended dishes Vegetarian Includes Guasaca, Chicken Arepa …More

Jordan Cao: Consistently delicious. A good option for lunch during the work day. Food is tasty and ingredients are fresh. I've not had a bad meal here. I have had to wait a couple times for them to cook whatever protein because they ran out on the serving station, but they do tend to be quick enough when they happens. It can get a little noisy if it's really crowded.
Hiedi Wilson: Nice atmosphere and great food.

Unam: Me and my friends visited, we took crispy chicken arepa and avocado chicken. Taste wise crispy chicken arepa is very very nice while avocado chicken is kinda healthy also it’s a bit costly than the other one. My friend who is very good at cooking tells that the avocado chicken is very juicy, like marinated chicken. I recommend it. From my perspective I feel these a bit costly than I expected to be.
Jacob Winters: Barw bones style. Good food
Cody Taylor: The food is actually delicious, but they are not kind to the homeless people nearby. One guy was just sitting quietly at their outdoor seating using the shade and a seat, and they made him leave. I don’t think I can support a business that lacks compassion for the less fortunate.
