AFC Urgent Care Cary, NC: what do users think?
expthread: on website it states you are open until 8. but when i called at 732 pm you said you stopped taking patients at 730. the website should say you close at 730. at a restaurant if it says its open till 10 and you come at 945 the patron gets seated. your website is misleading - and dont ever say to a veteran that boohoo sometimes you have to stay till 9 pm to clear patients. or never say ‘i just work here’. work ethics have tanked in this country
NARC SHIELD: NARCISSISTIC ABUSE AWARENESS: I have Been to the office a couple of times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The doctor I have seen both times is very nice and I feel comfortable going. It’s a clean office and I have never had to wait long.
Brenda Leggett: Well done 👏
Sandy Paisley: I Always feel comfortable and seen promptly. Very nice doctors and felt I was heard when I was really not feeling well.
Adam Evans: I don’t mean to be rude. For reference, I was scheduling an appoint for a new client, myself for a first time client. I got a text notification to show up 10 minutes before my appointment at 1:30. I did so. It was 1:45 by the time the nurse took me back to the room and took my blood pressure. It wasn’t until 2:32 before the doctor walked through the door. I feel like with a 10 minute early courtesy arrival, I would be seen and hopefully done by 2:30. It took over an hour before the beginning of my meeting. The doctor was kind, but this business does not have the bandwidth to be taking on new clients. 1/10 for speed. 6/10 for the doctor. She diagnosed some of my suspicions for medical purposes, but cut me short from hearing the rest of my problems. Didn’t have the time to take care of me fully :/
A E: I’ve been there multiple times and there’s never been much of a wait and everyone is so nice and knowledgeable. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see a doctor after they put me in a room. I’ll never go anywhere else!
Alexandru Mocanu: Got a Covid-19 test for my flight back to Europe. Everyone was helpful, fast and had a positive attitude! Would definitely recommend it!
Althenia Morris: The staff is professional and pleasant. I have used this facility 3 times to get my Covid testing done for traveling and received results in 30 minutes. They are a life saver for me haha
Monica P: I was here to complete a pre-employment drug screen, and apparently they lost my urine. 3 stars because I didn't have to wait long to be seen. Other than that, eh.
Redone Nahn: professional and friendly service! The whole team did a great job . Will use them again in the future if needed definitely.
Aqsa h: I came to this AFC back in October with a burn injury. I had to pay out-of-pocket because my workmen’s compensation had not come through yet.I was told by AFC’s insurance company that once my workmen's comp insurance company paid AFC for my visit that the AFC insurance company would refund me my money. That has yet to happen. It’s been MONTHS since my works insurance has paid AFC for my bills and AFC has REFUSED to pay me back. I’ve called the AFC insurance line every week since NOVEMBER 2022. They keep lying and telling me that they are sending me my money back. I tried calling this location multiple times to help me with this refund. EVERY SINGLE TIME, they have either hung up on me or yelled at me.PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS AFC. They steal, lie and the front desk employees violate HIPPA. The owner is rude and disrespectful. Refuses to refund my money, either ignore my calls or hangs up on me.I’ve tried calling and emailing them and dealing with this through them. But now, I will be calling the insurance commissioner office to report this.PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Chris Perry: Quick and easy office visit and the staff was extremely nice and helpful!
Blake Cazalet: If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THEY TAKE YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD AND PHOTOCOPY IT. THEN A FEW WEEKS DOWN THE LINE YOU WILL SEE WITHDRAWALS FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. THEY TOOK $90 OVER A 2 MONTH PERIOD FROM MY DEBIT CARD WITH NO EXPLANATION. I CALLED MUSTAFA, THE OWNER, AND HE PROMISED ME HE WOULD REIMBURSE ME. LIAR!!!!!! HE NEVER DID AND JUST THE OTHER DAY I GOT ANOTHER NOTICE SAYING I OWED $30 WHICH IS NOT TRUE. I HAD TO SHUT DOWN MY DEBIT CARD BECAUSE I KNEW THEY WOULD CHARGE ME. ON TOP OF THIS THE GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY CAN’T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE PROPERLY. ITS A DANGEROUS MEDICAL OFFICE BECAUSE THEY MISPLACE PRESCRIPTIONS (that happened to me) AND YOU ARE TAKING YOUR LIFE IN YOUR HANDS GOING THERE. VERY UNETHICAL!!!
Catherine Gilmore: Friendly, knowledgeable, & convenient!
Don Rowe: I needed a quick turnaround for a PCR test. AFC provides on site results in 30 minutes (unlike the normal 1-2 days when it has to be sent to lab). I was fortunate I didn't have to wait. Had some challenges with the online registration, however both Fatima and Taylor walked me through it. They were both very friendly and patient. Will definitely go back should I require urgent care.
Kamal Aferchich: It was wasy to set an appointment friendly stuff
Matt Silvestri: able to set online appointment and prefill all paperwork for easy check in. friendly staff, was not made to wait long at all for medical services. explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. will use this office again in the future!
Mike Floyd: I was treated in a timely manner with respect. The professionalism is over the top with fast responses. This is the kind of business I'll use in the future.
elhiri lucky: They are very good with customer service and very professional I love this place and the staff
Frank Brown: I required stitches in my chin due to a fall. The two ladies who attended to me were very caring and made sure I was okay before leaving.
Sam Holland: EXCELLENT SERVICESTHANK YOU

Cary Family Practice and Walk-In Clinic: what do users think?
Manic mommaT: Where is my review?? I know its been like 5 yrs but still. This fake Dr and her staff sat on my cancer diagnosis for 2 years! For two years i had chronic leukemia and this B did not tell me. Her medical assistant at the time even confirmed what the cancer dr told me. Yes they knew and did nothing. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN THE OTHER WAY!
Rhonda Tant: I suffer from depression/anxiety , Dr.Daud. always has the ability to make feel I will overcome this . I really appreciate her . I love her and her daughter Sarah is so kind ❤
Mike Welch: I've always had a positive experience with Dr. Daud and her staff. Makes me wonder if everyone else is going to the same place! I've been going there since 2k5.
Sarah HowardGodwin: I will start off by saying that I have never had the urge to write a review before as MUCH as I do now for this establishment,( if that's even what you want to call it!) Please do not waste your time coming here if you are hoping to be treated well, as a Human being should and deserves to be treated. Just save your time, because this low class place is the biggest JOKE I have EVER visited. Seriously. It is that bad. If I had of actually seen the reviews for this office before I wasted my time, I would have never even called. I called for my first appointment, the Receptionist was actually very Friendly, but, with that being said, She was the ONLY staff member in the entire office that was friendly! She kindly set up an appointment for me on a Friday at 2:15pm, ok, So, I admit I was running late, my apologies. I call to at least let them know I am running late due to something that was beyond my control, and ask if I should just reschedule? But, the receptionist assured me that it was completely fine and to continue to plan on coming there, even if I was late. I was very sick, felt horrible, and was hoping to be able to get some answers and to be checked out appropriately, but,No, I get there, and yes, I was late, but mind you the receptionist had assured me it was fine, to come on anyways, I get checked in, in the middle of my paperwork the Nurse comes in and just SO RUDELY, asks me if I'm finished with my paperwork, and takes the sheet that she needs to speed the process up, which is understandable, but then, it gets so much worse, I let her know that I can go ahead and give her a sample if need be in the bathroom, she acts like that is the worst suggestion I could possibly ever give, rolls her eyes, and tells me to go ahead.I don't know how many people out there move at lightning speed when they are sick and feeling exhausted from lack of sleep, but I don't usually. So, I go to the restroom, get the sample, was feeling pretty dizzy,as I am coming out of the restroom I hear the "rude nurse" say to the other staff member, "well she's only been in there for 30 minutes!" very sarcastically. I honestly could not believe my ears! I have worked in the medical field for 17 years, and could not believe I was actually hearing such rude sarcastic words coming from a nurse right where the patient could hear her. I just look at her in disbelief, and head into the room, where she continues to roll her eyes, sigh loudly and act like I was a piece of trash that had ruined her entire day! So, I ask her politely, "I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?" She says to me, "Well, it's Friday and we close at 1:00pm on Fridays." So I tell her, "ok well then why did your receptionist schedule me to come in well after 2:00pm today then?? I was extremely confused at this point...Then comes in the "Doctor" and I use this term very lightly. And she was just as rude as the heartless nurse. By this time, I just felt so sick, and honestly had started to cry because I have NEVER been treated so horribly in all my years of visiting a doctor's office, instead of anyone trying to be kind to me or make me feel welcomed or whatever she comes in and treats me like I'm a little child as well, no regards to my feelings, or my concerns. I begin letting her know my symptoms and concerns, and she looks at me and says, "we only look at one sick complaint per visit", just one, ok... so I had to think a second to myself as I was in tears , which one of my concerns may be the most important or God forbid, if it were someone else, the most life threatening! I had to actually ask for my oxygen level to be checked, because I had been suffering from respiratory issues. Even that was such a huge task for the Nurse who checked it but then rolled her eyes and said, "she's fine" sarcastically of course. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! These people show NO compassion whatsoever to their patients! I really do not know how they are actually in business!! Hopefully this can help someone else, so they don't have to be put through the humiliation that I did. Very Unprofessional.
Toni Mclean: I've been here for YEARS! The staff here is so unprofessional and will talk/gossip while you need things done! Today I needed a paper signed for my job for me to be able to work. I called ahead of time asking could I bring it in, the lady at the front desk said "sure, asap because we close @ 1" ok, I drive all the way from garner to come at 12:35 for the doors to be LOCKED & no one answered the phone after I called 8 times. I know it's Friday, I'd like to go do whatever I want to but business must be handled first. I wasted gas & time coming! They WILL be hearing my mouth come Monday if I had another doctors office like this that would accept Medicaid I would switch asap but I can't. Sad the type of quality help you get when you can't afford it.. this is such a ghetto establishment!!!!
Lema Marshall: Dr. Daud was very friendly and very knowledgeable. She explained everything to me in terms that I could understand. Great followup
Kristie Hartsock: If you have medicaid, they will treat you like crap. Your referrals will "get lost". The dr will tell you if you have anxiety that "there will always be a problem" and to "go do yoga". The staff is so rude. They lost my referral, put me on hold, transferred me without telling me I was being transferred. Spoke to me like I was beneath them. The place is disgusting as well. Not worth the 1+ hour wait you will spend in a nasty room. Go else where.
T K: I thought about calling to set up care with this office. However, after speaking with a "Sherry" or "Cheryl" I opted out. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was hoping to find a PCP that would offer convenience for my entire family. I would no longer need to take my children to a separate pediatricians office as we would share the same physician. I am still looking but I don't think Cary Family is a good option. As rude as she was I would have given them a "0" if allotted. I also read other reviews and researched this practice after I called and found that they are known for this type of conduct. Sad. Hopefully they read these reviews and make the necessary changes.
Torra King: My children and I have been going to this office for over 5 years yet Dr. Daud has no idea who we are. The staff is very unprofessional and not friendly at all. It doesnt seem they know what they are doing or saying. My daughter was in a car accient this is week two since she visited the office, i call today and they theyre about to fax over a referrel to the physical theropist. How could it take 2 weeks to send a fax?
Lynea Vandruff: Their allergist is amazing, but Dr Daud and the rest of the staff or brusque and rude. They made getting refills impossible. They wanted me to come in every three months to make sure my medicine, which has been working for years, is still working. They refused to refill my asthma medication until I came in for a check up, leaving me at risk of an asthma attack. It's seems to me the only thing they truly cared about was getting you in as much as possible so they could get as much money from you as possible. Very dissatisfied with the service I received here.
Josh Powell: Dr. Daud and her staff were friendly and amazingly helpful during my visit. I was a walk-in and Dr. Daud spent at least an hour with me discussing numerous problems I had been having. I never felt more welcome in a doctor's office and I have never felt more attention paid to me by a doctor. I feel more confident moving forward with my life after seeing Dr. Daud.
Suptei Rogers: My review is a little more current! I have been seeing Dr. Daud since late last summer. She has updated her staff and nurses. I find her to be very experienced and thorough. The new staff seems much more personable. I have not met the newest nurse yet. I spent almost two years in Cary bouncing around from Doc to Doc and I think she does fine!

UNC Urgent Care at Cary: what do users think?
Amber Moshakos Kaune: BEWARE: the hours are posted incorrectly. They close at 7:30. I made the mistake of driving here only to have two people tell me to go to Wake Med from behind locked doors.Fortunately, Wake Med is the building next door to this one. You don’t even need to get into your car. Literally walk from one building to the next. Wake Med takes people right up until 8pm, as long as you are inside by 8. First time there and Wake Med was great!
AJ: FYI WakeMed is on the right when you pull in, the UNC is the building on the left (there’s no UNC sign on the building.)Brought my son here to be seen as his PCP is in the UNC network.Pros:1) We were seen quickly (we were also the only ones in the office at the time).2) You can check wait times online.3) the nurse (Tammy) and doctor (Dr. Derse) were very friendly.4) the waiting room and patient rooms were cleanCons:1) The receptionist was wearing gloves the whole time while handling our intake and paperwork, usually people wear gloves and don’t clean their hands.2) You have to fill out 4 pages of paperwork, even if already established as a UNC patient.3) The office apparently closes from 2-2:30 for a break, that’s not indicated on their website.
Britain Barker: Absolutely horrible and painful experience! The only reason I gave this place 1 star is because the nurse was very kind and thorough. However, Dr. Derse was unnecessarily rough and could care less about the pain he was causing to someone who was already in pain. I would not recommend this facility or doctor at all. Please go somewhere else where you will be better cared for.
C.L.: They weighed me in KGs and when I asked why they were using KGs instead of LBs, the nurse said “because some people are sensitive about their weight”.... This is not a joke.... This actually happened, in the USA, where we specifically use LBs to measure weight. Regarding the rest of the visit, they resolved nothing and just recommended I go to ER or see a Dr... waste of time and whatever they charge me, that will be a waste of money too. One would think UNC would be better.
Stephen Miura: Door says closes at 8pm. I walk in at 733 to empty waiting room. Lady tells me they stop accepting patients at 730. Told me to go next door.
Lauren Langdon: I'm giving 2 stars so that I can at least shout-out the great staff. I'm pretty sure he was MD, possibly PA, but for the sake of this review, I was seen by Dr. Michael Ryder. He was awesome. I wish I remembered the nurse's name because she was seriously amazing...we need more nurses and Dr's like them! My issue is with the UNC Health billing. I have asthma and came in knowing exactly what I needed - a breathing treatment. For the visit, I was charged $399.00 plus the treatment for $67.00. Naturally, I have a high deductible so for this singular visit/breathing treatment, I paid $364 out of pocket. I've never paid more than $50 out of pocket at any urgent care ever, not even for the very same treatment. Actually, I've never been charged that much for any Dr or specialist visit literally ever. I think FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS is a little steep. I called to dispute it and that wasn't going to get me anywhere. The billing person I spoke with said this charge was based on that I was a first-time patient. That's all I'll ever be because there's no way I'm going back there just to be surprised with another unexpected & over-charged bill. I'd sit in a waiting room, unable to breathe for hours, to be seen by an equally skilled staff rather than be out $400 unnecessarily.
RockyRdWarrior: Horrible experience here, after having bad sinus drainage and all kinds of colors showing infection they simply told me l had something viral and there was nothing else l should do But rest. My regular Dr would have told me to take mucinex, Flonase and Zyrtec at least something to help fight it off. I called back 3 days later to state my cough had gotten worse and more mucus discharge and they simply told me l could come back to see the Dr again...why would l l asked the employee on the phone? It's simply a strategy NOT to help someone the first time. No thank you to another revisit here!
Sissy Adams: I had an awful experience with a verbally abusive physician assistant named Brittany Smithmyer. Sadly, as a patient there is basically nothing you can do. You’re at the mercy of whoever is there at that day/time. She didn’t even discharge me, after seeing me. She said, “You probably have a virus.” Then she just left the room and she and nobody else ever returned. She should lose her job. That’s not how you treat people.
Nicole Anamarie: My experience at this place has been always 5 stars. I’ve recently been to this place late October for ear discomfort and I was treated with such great care and I recently just went today for a illness check up and was treated with such loving and welcoming care. Definitely recommend this place 100%!
Jennifer Petersen: Everyone I met from the front desk to the nurse (oops didn’t get their names!) to Naomi the Nurse Practitioner was AWESOME!! Scheduled my time online and didn’t really wait that long when I arrived. Would absolutely go back. Wish they did primary care!!
Julie Thompson: Appt @ 2pm. Still no PA or MD at 3pm. UNC Not-So-Urgent Care. Avoid if you can.
puffpastry: went in for sore throat thinking it might be strep, they took me back to get vitals, looked at my throat and said "yeah thats pretty red" and asked me if I wanted to be tested for strep...???? Yeah? And whatever else it could possibly be? I told them I had a pending covid test so they said we can skip it since I took one the day before and was waiting on results. The higher doctor or nurse practitioner, whichever came back and was very nice and professional. Said we would wait on the 10 minute strep test and go from there. The clinic assistant or whoever came back and said "your test came back negative you're good to go" and was told to wait on my covid test. what? Im still having very painful symptoms? I asked if the covid test came back negative if I should return and the lady shrugged at me and said "I mean I guess" ????? Feel like I wasted time and money on this visit. Wouldnt return. Work on your professionalism :)
Renee Powell: The check in and nursing were good. We did have a longer than predicted wait per their in house screen (screen said 10 min. We waited probably 30). The PA, Jason was why I gave this a 2 rating and would not go back. He was defensive, rude, elevated his voice at us (my son says he was yelling at us), did not give us any other resources. I also work in healthcare and in my 25 year experience, he was unprofessional and under informed. This was a wasted 2 hours for us with no resolution whatsoever.
Rebecca Neuberger: The front desk lady was lovely, but being seen by Dr. Reem Alkadhi was a pretty awful experience. I came in with horrible stabbing pains in my ear and the feeling of fluid (this is coming on the heels of months of extreme tinnitus/hyperacusis/other debilitating ear problems), and after looking in my ear for about 3 seconds she made a big deal of how “perfect” my ears were. When she looked at my chart and saw all the tests I’d had done/signed up for via my PCP, she condescendingly asked “Wow, this is so many tests! Why are you getting so many tests when your ears look perfect? What exactly are you worried about?” When I tried to explain what I’ve been going through for months, she sort of “mhmed” and fake smiled and then reiterated that I was fine and could go home now.She talked to me like I was in Kindergarten, and after the fact didn’t even offer any potential pain management. I got in my car and cried for an hour because I felt stupid and crazy and not listened to. I realize that urgent care has limited time, staff and resources, but there’s just no excuse for treating a patient who’s clearly in pain like they’re insane, or in urgent care/getting tests done for attention. If someone is in pain and you can’t see the cause, the least you could do is offer pain management alternatives or recommendations. Really awful experience.
Kayci Dell'Angelo: Hurt my foot while walking the dogs at my in-laws from out of town. My mother in law suggested the UNC-Rex urgent care off of Kildaire. So glad we went there instead of going back to Charlotte. Ended up having a fractured foot. Was in & out in about an hour - including X-rays and getting a boot. I also got a disc of my imaging to give to ortho follow up.All in all, can’t really complain about the care, wait times, etc. i would highly recommend this facility for urgent care needs in the Cary area.
Frankie Asfari: The doctor came in to check on my son then just left without any comments except that the nurse will be in to do a swab for Covid test. The nurse then came after, did the swab, gave us written instructions and a bit of an attitude. When we got home I tried to create an account on UNC my chart and it said it will be 3-5 days to allow access. I called back and left 2 messages and no one called back. Definitely would not go back there again.
Aly C: The nurses were very friendly and entertaining. I came in with a joint injury that had just occurred but no one offered me any ice or crutches tho I did get a wheelchair with no feet props. A cursory exam by a NP Ms. Walker, was ok and X-rays were good but I never even saw the Dr. O'Rourke. Not sure Id go back.
Matthew Shinners: I think the general thing I would say on this is the lack of care is appalling.I went in to this urgent care because I have had swollen lymph nodes for the last three days with a fever. Based on the conversation with my family member, who is a doctor, they thought it might be mono or the flu. When I arrived the process was easy, the front desk receptionist was very polite and the nurse that took me back was also very nice. She tested me for COVID, which I had already tested myself for today and the test results were negative. This was probably the best part of my experience. After getting my initial check in I spent about 30-45 minutes sitting in my room waiting for my PA to check in with me. The nurse poked in on me about half way through there and let me know that the PA would be there shortly. Again, she was the best part of this. The PA came in and checked in with me, this probably took less than 10 minutes. Gave me a strep test and walked out. After the strep test the nurse that initially checked me in walked back in and asked me if I had gotten my strep test yet (great communication on the team). After sitting there for yet another 30 minutes an entirely separate nurse came in and started talking to me about upper respiratory infections. Eventually told me my strep test was negative. Not even sure why the PA was involved at this point. I was not asked about flu or mono. The amount of time involved in actually discovering my symptoms was very limited and disappointing. Additionally, the investigative portion of this and trying to do other tests wasn't there. In general, this was a waste of time and my money so I could get yet another COVID test and Strep test when I never mentioned a sore throat?Update: After my dissatisfying experience I went to the next building over and went to WakeMed Urgent Care. I found out that what I thought were swollen lymph nodes were actually swollen salivary glands. This took all of 30 minutes. Their PA sat down with me and talked about the difference in location for salivary glands and lymph nodes. Even showed me the difference in location. Not sure how I feel about the fact that UNC Urgent Care couldn't diagnose the difference between swollen lymph nodes and swollen salivary glands. Overall, had a great experience at WakeMed.
Jerred Copeland: I was seen by Adrienne Kovacik. My 15 minute visit consisted of a urine sample. She didn't even touch me. My insurance then received a bill for $408, of which I had to pay $267.64 out of pocket (For a 15 minute office visit and urine sample). My wife recently went to Medcheck for ear pain where they poked and prodded her for over an hour and our out of pocket was $80. I called for a code review. They refused to change it. I plan on reaching out to the BBB. I could get an office visit with a neurosurgeon M.D. for less than $267 out of pocket. This is absolutely ridiculous. America has some of the highest health care costs on the planet and this is why.Need Urgent Care?....NextCare Urgent Care1110 Kildaire Farm Rd, Cary, NC 27511WakeMed Urgent Care110 Kildaire Park Dr Suite 101, Cary, NC 27518
Stephanie Freeman: The front staff were very polite and friendly. The nurse, Jeanne, was wonderful. She was very pleasant and compassionate. Erin, the PA, was also caring and very informative.
Bill Fishel: My recent experience with UNC Urgent Care at Cary could not have been better! The front desk receptionist was both pleasant and efficient. My wait (for a cut and bleeding index finger) was given good priority, and I was seen within about 15 minutes by nurse (Jeanne) and PA (Caitlin) who were both most personable and talented - who put me at ease quickly - and who made me feel like family. I am looking forward to re-visiting the staff in a few days to have my stitches removed.

NextCare Urgent Care: what do users think?
omar el morabet: Professional work team
John King: Staff and Dr superb!
Luis Chinchilla: Excelente profesionalidad muy bien me atendieron muy bien y rápido
Tony Blackwell: Great Staff at this location, from the reception to the nurses Care to the Doctor! They were All Very friendly and the doctor provided great information pertaining to my Reason for being there and going forward!
Taewan Park: will never pick up calls, they will close unexpectedly and won’t take walk ins
Kirsten Hower: The staff is really friendly and helpful. They were able to fit my daughter in on a same day appointment with a very short wait time. They wrote her prescriptions and we were able to get her started on them that same day as well. I highly recommend this place.
Keyshawn B: The doctor was really kind and extremely helpful. Service was great and the front desk associates were kind as well. 10/10 experience
Sara Gautcher: Worst experience. Waited a full hour. When they finally call me they tell me I have to pay $75 before I can be seen because they are an out of network provider. I show her on my insurance app they are in-network. Then she says “oh sorry that is for the deductible you haven’t met”. I again show I have fully met my deductible. She then just says it is policy and I need to pay $75. I inform her that I just need a step swab and that there is no way that would be $75 considering I have met my deductible and they are in network which means I would only owe 10% of the cost of the visit. She calls another person to go back while I am informing her there is no way this will cost $750, $75 being 10% of that. Finally she goes back to talk to someone and agrees I can be seen and pay at the end but now my turn has passed and I will need to wait likely another hour or more. So incredibly shady. I called her out on her lies of being out of network and also for having not met my deductible so she basically skipped me in line. I left and went elsewhere that is actually above board and not trying rip off sick people by lying to them and taking far more money than they actually owe hoping they don’t get called out on the lie. Stay away!!
Tawanna Jackson: I'm not one to write a lot.Fast, friendly says it allAlways came here no matter whose closerKudos!
A Arnson: This team of dedicated professionals were quick and pleasant too! I made an appointment online and the team were on time! Very cool. I recommend.
Adriel de la Cruz: I booked an appointment online to be seen for foot pain at 10:45 AM and made sure to fill everything out before hand, but still only saw a physician assistant at 11:55 AM. According to the app, I had no one in front of me on the wait list, but the front desk lady said I had one person. The place was mostly empty, two more patients waiting beside me. I waited through annoying talk shows playing loud on the TV. I tried to work on my laptop while waiting but their free wifi was useless. They took X rays and the PA explained, by drawing doodles on a piece of paper, the cause was a minor heel spur, then sent me home with care instructions. I asked for X ray copies to make sure I actually saw my bones, and they provided a CD. These days no one uses CDs, it is time to move on to USB flash. I would not recommend this urgent care.
Anne Johnson: I was seen quickly. Staff all were very pleasant and helpful. Glad I went here.
Madi: Everyone is so nice and attentive. Went twice this week as the doctor told me to come back if I needed to and they took care of me both times. Amazing team!
David Herrick: All the staff were polite and professional. The lady at the front desk was amazing. My insurance is for "catastrophic" situations only, but she contacted my company and arranged a discount for me, which I didn't think was even possible.
Dawn S: Such a great place. Everyone is so friendly and professional. I’d come back if necessary.😀
Susan McCormick: Quick, convenient and friendly service.
Christopher Nolan: Great staff and very attentive to my daughter. Thank you!
Kim Leighty: Very quick and friendly service! The team was very kind to me and my daughter!
Elise Senay: Barely a wait and very kind, professional and caring staff
Kentrell Richardson: I went in a week or so ago last minute and received great service from the nurse Tasha and Dr. Maria. Not sure of the lady name at the front desk but the staff was very nice. I will definitely come back again if I need their services.
Samuel Everhardt: Was seen back in January for what was eventually diagnosed as gastroenteritis. I was waiting for over 3 hours and blacked out in the waiting area 4 separate times due to dehydration and fever. No concern was shown, and no help was given. Not even water to try and get fluids into my system

Linda Schmitt: Short wait time. The doctor was very caring and friendly.
cleo 64: Very professional, friendly, clean atmosphere great staff
Stan Kidalowski: Short waiting time. Great provider and staff.
Brian Rendon: The team was very professional address my issue very quickly and had my situation relieved within minutes. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
James Hylton: The staff was courteous, competent and professional.
tim pink: The Fastmed I went to was short staffed but incredibly helpful. Their approximate wait time was spot on. All interaction with the three was very personal and professional. I still felt like they were there for me only.
Day Yang: I've visited this facility several times and every time doctor Stephen Hasting made my visit very easy. Wait time can be long but you can generally avoid it by going in early.
Peggy Thomas: Got to see the PA soon after I arrived . Front desk person was very kind and friendly and the PA was thorough and knowledgeable . Great experience.
emon perkins: My daughter wasn’t feeling well. We were seen in a timely manner. She was very emotional, but the nurse and doctor took their time with her. And even comforted her with not one, but TWO lollipops aha. She loved that of course and actually was feeling better the same day after being prescribed some meds! We will definitely revisit in future. Thank you to everyone that helped us that day!
Marla Ramsey: Got in and out quickly
Andrea Little: Would not go there again. Terrible service. Better, if you can, to see your primary .
Robyn Tolley: Provider was kind and so kid with my kiddo that needed stitches. Facility was clean. Check in was easy and wait was short. Will absolutely use again if needed.
LeighAnn Canulli: The visit was way too expensive, the receptionist was on her personal phone and acted like I was bothering her by bringing my kid to urgent care. The only positive was the med-tech and the doctor. 1 star for the med-tech and 1 star for the doctor.
Rachel Little: Thanks to the ladies who checked in and worked my mom up quick tonight. Very efficient operation :)
Jacob Collins: very friendly staff. came in with a lung issue and the doctor came into the room immediately in order to inform us they they did not have the equipment to do the scans necessary to diagnose the issue. she was extremely apologetic and friendly and quickly referred us to wakemed hospital, called ahead to let them know we were coming and what the issue was, and gave us a full refund for any charges from that visit.
Monica P: Even though they were short-staffed, they were still accurate, prompt, and pleasant! I was in and out in no time!
Kim Rooney: Front desk and staff were great!
Janet Magelli: Everyone was professional and pleasant. The process was efficient and the PA was polite and caring. He explained his assessment and treatment plan well, and gave me the time I needed. I felt confident in his knowledge and skill.
Laura Culotta: They had the right form to satisfy Japan government and American Airlines for Negative COVID proof of testing.
David Jackson: Best service I’ve received from any business anywhere for quite awhile. From the time I arrived everyone was highly professional from the check-in desk to the exam room!
Jamie Miner: Friendly staff, short wait, thorough physician. Good explanations.

MinuteClinic: what do users think?
Mikhail Isaev: I was today here. Very friendly personal (Megan). My children were delighted. I recommend it.
haider alsady: I asked the NP to give me a flu shot for my son the answer was no she said I'm waiting for someone. later the NP was inside did nothing and closed her door after 15mints I asked her to give my son a flu shot she said she was waiting for someone and close her door again, I was waiting outside and no one shows up. She was just hiding do nothing. it is the worst clinic ever.
Shelbe Hrnicek: This place has severely gone downhill, I wanted to give it once more chance and they wouldn’t even see me as a walk-in. There was ZERO other people in line or waiting and they wouldn’t give me a time to be seen or let me wait. The PA/Nurse was quiet literally just wandering around.
Robert Buchan: Service used to be very good here. Never waited more than 5 minutes and the PA's were and probably still are very good. However the last 2 attempts have been exercises in futility. I had 2 appointments that I had to abandon due to delay. Only one PA operating and if you are making appointments for 15 minutes I plan my day around that. First one left after 15 and next one after 10 as the person before me was only admitted after I was scheduled to go in. Very poor and what a shame I really like minute clinic. Will have to find another one or try different time maybe.
Roxane Soucy: Nurse Murina was wonderful! Personable, knowledgeable, and professional despite a full waiting room, she attended to each person's needs and the only one working in the Minute Clinic area. More staff would be good, especially after 5pm when people arrive for appointments after work, but that's a management issue.
Katherine Wolf: UPDATE: Reduced my rating to one star after receiving ANOTHER bill from the lab work I didn't consent to! It cost me ~$350 altogether for something simple that I already diagnosed myself. Avoid unless you have absolutely no other choice.Prompt, professional, and friendly. Having priority at the pharmacy steps away is a huge perk. However, it's very pricey! Urgent care is cheaper and telehealth is way cheaper, especially considering I already knew exactly what was wrong and just needed the script.
theo aukerman: Slow...more like Hour Clinic. We arrived 5 minutes before our appointment weren't seen until 40 minutes after our appointment. And only one person already being seen when we arrived.
Jordan Penley: Arrived at 7:20 pm and their hours online listed they closed at 7:30 pm. If you close at 7:20 pm you should list that as your hours.
Sydney Eckhardt: I made an appointment online after verifying this clinic performed what i needed done. Upon getting there, check in was easy, and I hardly had to wait at all. The NP (Her name started with a T I think it was Tiara but i could be wrong) was AMAZING. Very gentle and compassionate, but quick. I left feeling well taken care of, and the price was affordable compared to other urgent clinics.
Kayla Fisher: Very good experience here! Quickly checked in and was quickly seen. The NP was so kind and helpful! She helped me with my issues that I came in for and was very informative and caring about my issues! I would definitely recommend this location. I felt at ease about the health issues I came in for after this appointment.
Carmen Ramsey: I’ve been here 3 times and had a great experience each time. Both PA’s that I saw were friendly, caring, and efficient. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Some people may complain about wait times but that’s what you get with a walk-in clinic. I’ve been to urgent cares where the wait time has been well over 2 hours and paid 2x as much for the same level of care. At least MinuteClinic has hours in the evenings and weekends which is a godsend for people who work 9-5 and then have to commute. Plus, you can kill time by shopping or sitting at Starbucks. I’d recommend this MinuteClinic as it has been the best one out of the several I have been to.
Aaron Whiting: Operationally unfit to be in business. We tried them last year and the check-in kiosk froze up several times during check in which added about 15-20 minutes of re-entry. They ask if you'd like to be texted about appointment time updates, those updates never came so we missed our appointment while we were off killing two hours. They don't answer the phone because there's only one person that works there and there's no way to view appointment times online, so you have to keep going back trial and error. They close for lunch, so if they get behind, all the appointments get pushed back an hour. We figured last year was a fluke, so we tried again this year. So far, three trips back to Target over the course of three hours and counting...
Whitley Austin: Walked right in, had friendly service, flu shot was a breeze. Excellent experience and will return here if sick. Very clean as well.
Bunny: Went with my friend to have her TB test read. Waited over an hour and the NP took more than 20 minutes to give someone a flu shot. She then turned away a patient who checked in at 6:30 with an estimated wait time of 35 minutes claiming that the timing in the computer system was wrong and she wouldn’t be able to see him tonight because they close at 7:30. Don’t waste your time here!
Warren Snell: My visit was quick and convenient so no complaints there. What is frustrating is paying a $35 Co-Pay in the office and never being told that I should expect to be billed again a month later.Perhaps it's just my ignorance, but I wish I would've been aware that you get charged twice for a flu test (apparently there are professional and facility fees). I was actually never told I would be charged separately for the flu test at all, let alone twice. The 20 minute visit ended up being relatively expensive (approx. $115 after insurance) just to get a negative result for the flu and told to keep taking my cold medicine. For other people that decide to visit, just make sure you ask the doctors what the actual cost will be for any tests so you aren't surprised later on.
Kristen Murphy: Overall had a good experience, the PA was very friendly and efficient. The only negative was the fact that I reserved a spot in line at 6:06pm and was not seen until almost 6:40pm, even though I was told my wait time would be 18 minutes. I would come back here if need be.
Christa Giammattei: Both times I was here the wrong nurse showed up to her shift, leading to a 30 minute teaching session from one nurse to another on where everything was and how to do her job. When you have strep the last thing you want to do is watch nurses give each other tours. They weren't very sympathetic to the fact sick people were waiting for them. Seems very disorganized.
Michelle M: Took forever! There were only 3 people here. Waited 2 1/2 hours.

MinuteClinic: what do users think?
Matt Posner: Quick friendly service. Got a typhoid and flu vaccine. The Typhoid vaccine cost was much cheaper than other places.
Sonia Saunders-Adderley: The medical assistants were very rude.
Caleb Bowen: The facility is fine. The Asian PA (don’t remember her name) is literally the worst healthcare worker that we have experienced. DO NOT GO SEE HER! Save yourself and your loved ones the incompetence, rudeness, and overall poor healthcare experience. My wife is a MD and she was floored along with me who’s an average Joe but I’m confident I’m definitely smarter. This employee is costing this cvs minute clinic business! Hear that cvs? Fire her! Hire someone worth their pay check. Sorry guys. Im over it, and I would normally let it slide. Not this time. That’s for your benefit! Could just let you go there yourself. Check out the differences in Google’s reviews and the company’s all 5 star for her. Ha!
Mack Redfern: Extremely rude and unprofessional. Dont go here.
Jon Snyder: Terrible service - terrible scheduling on site. No in person help. Waited for an hour only to be told I had to reschedule.
TJ Moffitt: I have a sinus infection and I NEED antibiotics for treatment, won’t let me in because I haven’t had a covid test in last week. Do not go here they treat u bad.
Anas B: I can’t believe this place is allowed to practice medicine, PLEASE go elsewhere
Arif Shaik: I went to remove ear wax. The clinic has only equipment that can be used to remove soft wax but i had a little hard wax. They tried to remove with the tools they have which was useless. It actually made it worse after the treatment. I strongly dont recommend this clinic for hard earwax.
Sung Lee: Avoid if you can. Went there to my kids' blood test for TB which a kind they don't do there. She wrote a test paper for Quest Diagnostics(Probably there is referral earning). She said there will be no charge after getting my insurance info. Later she charged $25 to sign a paper stating we did the test and it was negative. Well, after little more than a month later I received a bill to pay $10 from the original charge of $59($49 must be paid by insurance). So she is charging me to refer me to Quest Diagnostics. No wonder health care is so expensive in America.
Despina Boinodiris: I have used the clinic three times now this past year the service was excellent
Jessica Masterson: Should be called the 200 Minute Clinic, because after you make your appt online and show up, you still have to wait about 200 minutes to be seen. I gave it a shot twice. No more. Great place if you have all day, though!
Cynthia Ferguson: You can never schedule a visit here and even arriving 45 minutes prior to closing they will not see you. Tried to schedule a visit for the next 5 days and “no time slots available.” Not helpful.
Amy O: I registered online and was added to the queue. (midday on a Thursday) Once I got there I finished registering at the patient kiosk. The process was simple, and I had a very short wait time. The nurse who saw me was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. After my exam I found all the over-the-counter cold medicine I needed right near the clinic. Overall I had an excellent experience start to finish.
Lori Dillard: I’ve been to this minute clinic 2-3 times and they’re very friendly and quick.

WakeMed Urgent Care - Kildaire: what do users think?
Alexandra Campbell: 2nd time in 10 days we ended up at the ER. First time was at the Raleigh Campus. We choose the Kildaire Campus in hope of faster service. The facility was clean and welcoming. The staff was great! We were greeted with a smile and kindness. The intake nurse at the front desk was awesome. The nurse that put us on the books was friendly and comforting. We didn't get a room in the ER Bay and had an area in the hallway. It was a busy morning. My husband's nurse Melisa was awesome! She was kind, super friendly, very accommodating and communicative. The doctor took his time to discuss my husband's issues, he listened and asked pointed questions. He laid out a plan of action and it was followed through swiftly.Check out and release was an easy process. Again, nurse Melisa and the doctor took their time to explain the new medications and next steps in treatment.Overall it was a great experience. Next time we need to go to the ER we will choose the Kildaire Complex again.
Lois Nixon: Both the check-in staff and PA were caring and efficient when I walked-in on a Sunday morning. I was in and out in 30 minutes. The next day my regular Dr. confirmed that the diagnosis and treatment plan were correct.
Bill O'Neill: My experience here was 100% positive. I went in today for treatment for a sinus infection and everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional, the place was new and super clean, and I was in and out very quickly.
Maureen Mcdivitt: I was given discharge paperwork which listed 2 medications given?I never received any meds and saw Dr for 1 minutePlease take off bill and contact me this message was received and my billing corrected.Thank you!
NC Homemaker: Unable to talk with a person. I’ve been on hold for 40 minutes, and counting, just to clarify if my daughter needs to come in again! Why be an urgent care and Not pick up your phone? What part of urgent do they not understand? Why have that in your name?
Morgan Crutchfield: Super clean, well-kept and well run Urgent Care with kind and attentive staff. Parking was super convenient and the waiting room was spotless with plenty of seating. Reception was quick, efficient, friendly. I was in and out with no fuss and the help I needed.
Grandma Kage: Admitted with severe chest pain. seen right away and treated with the utmost courtesy.Tests showed nothing wrong with heart or lungs. Two days later pain has subsided but still feeling unwell. Overall good experience. Very friendly and professional staff.
Rene Morrison: The doctor I saw was wonderful! The entire staff was really caring.
Kelley Crawford: Had a great experience at this Urgent Care from the front desk staff to the PA on duty, Kris Decker. His bedside manner was excellent and he listened and spoke thoughtfully, making me feel comfortable and at ease. I felt like a patient and not a number or a nuisance. The healthcare world needs more Kris's these days! Thank you!
diane laws: Thank you Dr chow again fir your guidance to Ed Appreciate your expertise and care
Ajahlyse Bollar: If you’re having an emergency, go somewhere that’ll actually take care of you and not have you sitting in the waiting room for hours at a time. Wait time is disgusting, staff are horrible
Michael Arslan: Went to this urgent care with a really bad migraine and saw Dr. Chin. He came in the room and was honest with me that he wasn't able to treat me for my particular case because they didn't have the medicine that could break my 3 week long headache. He was extremely nice and caring and helped me understand my options. He didn't even charge me for the consultation. I was very happy with Dr. Chin and I'll see him again if I have any other urgent needs.
Joanne Bisson: Phenomenal - from front desk staff, to the prep room, Patrick****, and the doctor who spoke with me.....all wonderful and caring folks. Seriously, they made me feel as if I was royalty.
New Again Art Inc: 10/10!! Parking is a bit challenging due to it being in a building with busy medical offices, but this is a state of the art, impeccable facility with excellent staff! Went in for a broken toe and was treated extremely well from start to finish, everything was done expeditiously, and with the utmost care and friendliness.
Hailey Bernier: Went today & the team was super sweet especially one of their nurses!
Tania Stafford: No wait, easy parking, staff was great.
NCred501 NCred501: Staff were friendly and compassionate. Response time was quick.
Ashley Gross: They treated my toddler so fast! Had tests, x-ray and monitoring done all under 3 hours. The nurses and staff are excellent, efficient and most importantly empathetic.
John Wolf: WOW, is an understatement. I went in with a torn Rotator Cuff and was in severe pain. This has got to be hands down best emergent care ever (not that I'm a regular at these places). If you need to go, go here. You will be taken care of by a compassionate and professional staff. The nurses, PA's, EMT, various technicians (ultrasound) and admission staff were quick and caring. The Phlebotomist did miss (but to their credit she was new and that was ok by me). Her supervisor was right there and helped her make it right. Everyone had a smile and an appropriate sense of humor to help get my mind off of my pain.Thank you ALL!!!
Bobbie Kelley: Went to Wake Med Urgent Care on Kildaire Farm Road early Sunday morning. Nobody else was in the waiting room, there was no wait to be seen. The three people who helped me: the receptionist, the nurse and the PA were polite and professional and also very warm and compassionate. Things were explained in detail throughout the visit.. The facility was clean and bright and there is adequate parking. PA Christine Williams and her assistant Debbie were top notch! Thank you!
Stephanie Moore: I had an excellent experience here! Dr Chao, Patrick and Melissa (med tech?) were all personable, caring and good listeners. I felt heard and understood and they were all committed to discovering what was wrong.
