g w: You can not return electrical items if they have been installed. They should tell you this rather than depending on you seeing a sign on the back wall. The sign on the register doesn't state that. This should be corrected. Need a respectable looking manager for a store like this.

Raghava Yenigalla: I called them in January for the service for a product which was under manufacturer's warranty and it's June now, there is no update on the service. Manufacturer sent them the parts in February but they told me that they din't receive the parts and that I filed the claim in incorrect manner, after making me waiting for 5 weeks. Manufacturer registered the incorrect date, but Hopkins was afraid that they will not get the money for the claim and din't wait until I clarified the issue with the manufacturer. By the time manufacturer registered the correct date (needed closing documents of my house), Hopkins sent the parts back to them (and they lied to me that they dint receive the parts). I knew this only after I contacted the manufacturer later and they told me that Hopkins sent the parts back to them.They accused me of filing the claim incorrectly while did nothing wrong and they dint care to check with manufacturer or me. I called them just like i called them before regarding other appliances which all had correct date (all were registered on same date) and they performed the service without any questions.My product was under manufacturer warranty and has extended warranty for 3 years and I still dint receive any service. They din't care to hear about what I had to say. Very unprofessional. If only they waited until manufacturer fixed the issue (which happened in couple of weeks), this delay could have been avoided. It was already difficult to get the parts due to supply chain issues and they amplified my problem, on top of lying.Their tech was good, but administration is unprofessional. The lady talks to me like she is doing a very high stress job and doesn't have time to neither explain or nor hear what's happening. They don't care about customers. If something small happens outside of their usual process, they can't handle it.It's not entirely their fault, manufacturer made a mistake, but Hopkins could have handled it better when they had chance, if only they cared a little about their client.Services:Dishwasher repair,Washer/dryer repair

I called to get more information on fees and prices, and when I questioned a circumstance (for which I prepared her in a previous call), she was belligerent and condescending to me, and she rudely continued to interrupt me. The one star is for the courteous service technician who showed up to do the work and could not, because she “ dropped the ball” on passing the information to the appropriate parties.

Vincent Gollotto: Had to submit a warranty service ticket for our brand new Whirlpool wall oven/microwave combo and they utilized Hopkins Appliance Service for the repair. Dustin came out the first time and diagnosed the issue within a matter of minutes, but needed to order parts. They were communicative throughout the entire ordeal and once the new parts arrived they called me to scheduled the final repair. Dustin came out this morning and worked his magic and we have a working microwave for the first time since we moved in. Dustin was awesome! Fast, efficient and super knowledgeable. This is my 7th visit from Kitchen Aid service in 1 year. I had issues with all my appliances and I'm on my 3rd dishwasher after 2 previous leaked and damaged my kitchen floor and subfloor.I'll update after my service appointment next week.After the response I got not only I'll let Kitchen Aid know I'll also post a complaint with BBB. He claimed that no electricity was coming from my receptacle and that I needed to have an electrician to come and fix the issue. A few days later I hired an electrician to check the receptacle and breaker box only for him to discover that the issue was the dryer (not the electricity). Wasted money on hiring an electrician.

We have a five drawer kitchenaid and I was worried we would have to order a new drawer. Ben was able to fix the drawer and showed me how to pull the drawer panel out to indicate the source of our leak. Turns out there is a basin back there that water can pool up from the improper seal. Carolyn Kreuger: I used this business because my Kitchenaid range had just gone out of warranty, but they were incredibly deceptive and tried to tell me I needed a completely inneccesssary $1000 repair. I will not use them ever againMy oven control panel was giving an error message that the cable was disconnected when you tried to preheat the oven. The repairman came out, opened the oven and shoveled me where some oil had spilled internally, and told me the only way to repair it was to replace the entire control panel (which seemed to be working fine) at over $1000. I asked if we couldn’t just replace the cable (a $50 part) since that was what the error message said and he said it wouldn’t work. I pushed if we could please try that first abs he was surly but agreed and told me I’d have to bear the cost of a third service call if it didn’t. He told me he’d call when the part came in. In the meantime, I noticed that the error message was no longer on the stove. It was working fine again — and now has been for 2 weeks. It just took him wiping off the oil and reconnecting the cable but he never even checked if that fixed it. Anthony Seto: I have used CAS several times and had good experiences. Their techs were polite and on time. Most recently I had them back to check an issue with my fridge. While the tech was here, I mentioned my microwave (in my microwave/oven combo) was acting weird. While he was waiting for my fridge to show a reading on his thermometer, he entered some codes on my microwave and saw an error code indicating a bad inverter. We then talked about what would need to be replaced and he gave me a list of parts that would need to be replaced. He was also nice enough to provide his thoughts on possible replacement appliances if I didn't want to fix it. I specifically asked him if I would need to call the office to have him come out again for a service/diagnostic call or if I can just call them to get it fixed. He said I could call the office and they can get a formal quote and order parts. Great.I called the office and spoke to someone, explained the situation, provided my appliance's make, model, and serial # for my appliance, and asked for a quote. I was told they would call me back. 3-4 days passed and no one called me back. I called back again a few days later and was told they needed to talk to the tech to confirm the parts and that someone would call me back. A few days later...nothing. I called again yesterday and the person who helped me, Kim, was apologetic and said she'd call the tech and put me on hold. She contacted him and then told me they would need to come out and do a diagnosis and I would need to pay the diagnostic fee, even though I was told by the tech I would not and that I could just call for a quote and schedule a repair. She also told me the tech has tried to call me multiple times. That is not true. I confirmed the number they have on file and it was correct. I have no missed calls and no voicemails. During this time, I've had zero issues with other people calling me. She gave me the number to the tech (who was very polite when he was on site) and he flat-out denied ever telling me that I could just call the office to order parts and have them fix it. I wasn't going to call him a liar but I also don't appreciate being told something was not said when it clearly was. We even had a conversation onsite about if I wanted to DIY this issue. I remember the conversation and interaction vividly. He also told me he tried to call multiple times and when I told him I received no calls or voicemails, he said "I have an old iPhone 7 so maybe it's not working right". Poor excuse. Either your phone works or it doesn't but when I check my AT&T call log online, there are zero incoming calls from his number. So either he's lying or he called the wrong person, but he most certainly didn't call me. If he did, I wouldn't be chasing them down.I have since found another appliance repair company and have them coming out. I will gladly pay a diagnostic fee to someone else but I won't give CAS another penny of my money on the pure principle of being told something that was then later denied and then being asked to pay for something when I was told that was not the case.Now, perhaps the Tech was doing me favor and got in trouble for diagnosing something when he was here for another issue, but if that's the case, that's their problem to deal with internally and the mistake should not be passed the customer. People's words matter to me and right or wrong, in good business, you stick by the words you say both as the consumer and as the provider.Even if this costs me more to fix elsewhere, I'll gladly pay that to work with people who stand by their word.Service:Refrigerator repair

I have lost a day of work and now have to wait another two weeks to get back on thier schedule. I’m reporting to whirlpool where they were assigned to repair my brand new dishwasher. I would give a no star if it were available.
