Royce Gracie Jiu Jitsu Cary: what do users think?
Clara Schlieman: I love train here at Royce Gracie Jiu Jitsu, it’s is fun!!!
Ayten Rahimova: IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY BE STOLEN, DON'T GO THERE! I asked the trainer to cancel our contract at the end of July, and at the end of October, they still continue charging us. I sent them emails, left messages, call them numerous time, but it was no response back. When I went there the third time to ask them cancel our contract, the answer was"WE can not cancel the contract when you want" and we didn't get any request to cancel contract. He was talking rude and disrespectfully. Although when we just started they said you can cancel your contract anytime you want and you just need to let us know about that.
Chad Apostolico: Beginner friendly atmosphere. I joined primarily to help get back into shape, but also was able to meet a lot of friendly people, learn a bit of self-defense, and have some fun!
Senoculus: I joined this gym after a single trial class. I’d long wanted to get into BJJ but the locations around here were a hike and I’ve got three small children. This place sprung up in my neck of the woods and upon taking that first class I became obsessed. The gym feels like a small family. Everyone has been awesome to train with and the instructors are great about guiding and correcting in an encouraging way. My experience has been good enough for me to be excited to sign my son and hopefully my daughter up for the kids classes soon!
Thomas McGinley: I’m likely one of the oldest in the region (at 72) to ever embark on a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) journey but feel so blessed to have the Royce Gracie school of Cary almost in my backyard.I practiced karate many decades ago in my youth and was somewhat proficient. After just 7 months I can see how superior BJJ is as a martial art. I believe it is tremendously valuable for both men and women of all ages but especially so for women and guys like me who can no longer compete strength-wise with younger men. What makes the Royce Gracie school such a perfect fit for me is its focus on self-defense. The classes are taught by dedicated practitioners who make the classes truly fun. The advanced students are helpful as well. It’s a dangerous world out there and for this reason alone everyone ought to be somewhat capable of defending themselves. BJJ is the key and the Royce Gracie Jiu Jitsu School of Cary is the place. I could not recommend it more highly.
Hunter Clark: I cancelled my contract on Sep 4, and to this day these people are still charging me. I have emailed, called, and even shown up in person to cancel but am still having my money stolen. This is my last effort to deal with this, otherwise I will be taking these thieves to court. If you like having your money stolen, this is the perfect place for you.
Michael McCune: I recently joined the gym for CrossFit (Panther Creek CrossFit), and found out that they offer Jiu jitsu and practical self-defense training in the evenings after the CrossFit classes. The instruction is professional and the material is very practical. The small class size is perfect to receive a good amount of attention from the Instructor. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is interested in self-defense and/or jiu jitsu. The world is consistently becoming more hostile and you never know if you could end up in bad situation. This is an invaluable skill to have!
Logan Knight: Love this place! been training there for about 3 years now, started doing crossfit and Muay Thai but once I started BJJ I switched my priorities lol. The instructors are fantastic and provide a great training environment. The people who train thee are always great at providing a positive training environment so you always feel comfortable coming in whether you're brand new or experienced.
Dmitriy 333: Can't recommend this academy enough, not only will you learn life long potentially life saving skills but David is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable instructors in the game. Training jiujitsu is also scientifically proven to raise oxytocin levels.
Lamonte Tyler (Ωψϕ): Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueOne of the most talented instructors I have ever met.
Scott Wheeler: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueRoyce Gracie Jiu Jitsu has a great group of instructors and members. Really welcoming environment and a great curriculum for all levels and ages. I highly recommend them.
Mawk Star (JD): Fantastic instruction.Knowledgeable instructors.Real-world applications (not just the physical aspect, but mental as well). You can NOT go wrong with RGJJ - Cary (or Raleigh, for that matter)
Jeremy White: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
John Newell: Positive:Quality
Jonathan Gould: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Rebecca Schlieman: David Hall is a fantastic instructor. He’s a black belt under the legendary Royce Gracie and his instruction is excellent. Jiu Jitsu is great for all ages and skill levels. I can’t recommend RGJJ of Cary enough!
Warren Engledove: Great staff and instruction!
Gibbons Wrestling: Simply the best! Great for beginners (white belts) or advanced. They really care about you getting better and enjoying it. Not a belt factory! Everyone is very friendly. Plus the caliber of instruction is some of the best in the nation!
Jason Williams: The gym has a very close-knit type atmosphere. I got personal instruction and the instructors were patient with me as I was a beginner at CrossFit and Muay Thai. If you are interested in CrossFit but not experienced this would be a great place for you to go, Alan (the primary CrossFit instructor) makes sure you focus on fundamentals in order to avoid getting hurt.
Mason Baldwin: by Mason01/11/2012If you want to learn brazilian jiu jitsu, get in the best shape of your life, or learn Muay Thai this is the place for you. Jason Culbreth demands excellence from his staff and they deliver. The fitness program is very intense and I highly recommend it when you are ready for more than the average gym workout. You will gain the best training in endurance through creative sport science techniques and have an unbelievable amount of fun while you do things you never thought were possible.Get down to Forged Fitness in Cary, NC and see what they can do for you.

Cary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: what do users think?
tater “cakesauce” Dev: Great place to train, top-notch instruction, and fantastic facilities.
David Morganson: High quality instruction. Very welcoming atmosphere. I was lucky enough to be instructed by the owner. No idea if this is common there but it seems to be. He is old school and obviously knows his stuff! The techniques and principles and details did not require strength or speed. The other students were great training partners and fun to roll with.
Adam Atri: Coach Jason and the team are great.
Ashley Goodman: Jason is amazing with the kids and his knowledge is incredible! We highly recommend coming here for child or adult classes.
Tristen Cook: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismI went to this gym for the first time and was instantly impressed with the way Jason ran his classes. He is a great instructor and his instruction is very clear and understandable. His class is very organized and comfortable. And His students are very welcoming and friendly . Great place to train Brazilian jiu jitsu!
Oliver Capiz: CBJ offers a vey welcoming, clean and safe environment for both the kids and adults Jiu-jitsu programs. Jason is a very knowledgeable and experienced Jiujitsu practitioner and instructor who has a heart of a teacher and a mentor. The gym culture fosters an environment where both competitors and hobbyists alike can grow their skills together and form meaningful friendships on and off the mats. Overall, CBJ is an outstanding gym and an excellent place to learn and practice the ‘gentle art’ of Brazillian Jiujitsu.
Steve M.: I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Cary BJJ on multiple occasions. Though it’s not my primary school, Jason has always been friendly and welcoming. The instruction and the facility are both top-notch.
Raymond Ching: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueExcellent instruction and a great facility!
Brad Richardson: I've been training on and off for the past 10 years. I've been lucky enough to be a member of multiple gyms all over the country. The atomsphere at Cary BJJ is exactly what you want in a Jiu-Jitsu school. There are all levels of experience and different types of training partners to help you achieve your goals. Super friendly people and good instruction.
Aaron Roembke: Positive:Professionalism,QualityBest place to train around. Clean and Friendly.
O X: A very knowledgeable instructor and a very welcoming atmosphere. The facility is incredibly clean which makes you feel comfortable to train in.
Mike Golden: Awesome place! Super clean and well organized. Jason and the crew are knowledgeable and professional. I HIGHLY recommend!
Steve Snyder: CBJJ is a great place to train and meet your training goals. I enrolled my son several years ago, while he is in college. It is extremely important for me, as a parent, to have my child inside an environment where he will have good influence and mentors for guidance. I have seen his learning curve and performance drastically improve during his time at CBJJ. Jason Culbreth has a vast amount of knowledge, extremely professional, tremendous amount of passion to helping students, and provides a safe and clean environment.
Adam Taylor: The world class instruction, welcoming atmosphere and top notch facility make CBJ a great gym.Jason and Drew have cultivated a community develops themselves through the development of each other. This iron sharpens iron mentality makes for an excellent learning environment that breeds growth. If you're travelling through Raleigh-Durham and need a place to train or if you're looking for a gym to join you are welcome here.
Lane Moore: The instruction is phenomenal, the gym is as clean as can be and there are plenty of class times to fit anyone’s schedule. All of the students are very helpful too. I can’t recommend this place enough!
Corey Kosmin: Had an awesome experience here. Jason was very welcoming and the instruction was incredible. On top of that, the other students were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Nathan Purich: Genuine people and a welcoming atmosphere. Jason is a terrific teacher and the members were eager to help as I went in with zero experience. I sensed a true appreciation and understanding of the art, I highly recommend this gym if you are interested in BJJ!
Daniel Kemp: I've learned so much from Jason and the team! He is a remarkable person and diligent instructor. This is also one of the cleanest facilities I've ever been seen.
M L: I’m a new student. The instructors are great and help you along. Lots of one on one attention. The building is older but the actual facility is top shelf clean. New condition. The mats have a foam suspension system which makes falls really easy on the body. Especially for us older students.
James Purcell: I've trained with the Culbreth brothers for nearly 10 years. They have a true passion for teaching, continually learning and adapting new techniques for Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ) and self-defense. One of the biggest things you'll find here is their emphasis on self-defense; not all schools have that. At Cary BJJ, you will find a superior blend of sport BJJ and self-defense. Other key elements to this gym are its cleanliness (something Jason is diligent about), the friendliness and positivity of the environment, and the belief of the instructors in a warrior mentality that should extend into your everyday life. There are a number of world class competitors (including the instructors) that train at this gym who are always willing to offer assistance in improving your ground game. There is a lack of the 'bro'/machismo mentality here. My observation has been that the instructors are great with kids (especially Mr. Chris!), including teaching them important values.

Verity Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: what do users think?
Diego Castillo: I dropped in twice to experience the energy at Verity BJJ.Overall I am delighted with the culture of people and the energy that this place has. The Owner Jed, was kind enough to let me drop in, and I am glad I did! The level of instruction was very understandable, and the open mat, while small, had enormous energy. I hope to drop in again if the opportunity allows!
Dr. Victoria Szafranska, DC, LMT: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI was visiting family in Cary and stopped into Verity jiujitsu for a private lesson. Jed was very professional and extremely insightful. The mats are clean and the facility is very welcoming. I can’t wait to visit Verity when I am in NC again. Thank you again! (And their rashguards are awesome)
Jovante Hills: A google review help me decide to walk through Verity’s door and I’m hoping to pay in forward.Verity is an amazing place to start your Jiu Jitsu journey and continue training. Great instructions, people and atmosphere.Decide today to get some.
Eric Hoang: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat place to train! Good tough rounds and awesome instruction. Everyone is also super friendly!
Heather Jones: My husband made the decision to change gyms 6 months ago and he couldn’t be happier at Verity. Their commitment to teaching and challenging their members to improve has been obvious since day one. They know their member’s individual strengths and weaknesses and provide feedback when needed. It shows they take the sport seriously and have definitely earned the title of a school. Now that the kids class has started, we couldn’t feel more comfortable having them attend Verity. It’s awesome to see the excitement the kids have for every class! It’s a family owned business and it shows they value supporting families and their love and value for the sport. You’ve got to check it out!
Mark Hinkle: I love training at Verity BJJ. The facility is brand new and immaculately maintained. Also, the instruction and details provided by Jed are very good and the instruction is very collaborative, he's very good at helping make the adjustments for anyone's game. The vibe here is very family friendly and enjoyable for the beginner but there are enough higher belts here to help you up your competition game.
Sean Dougherty: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueAbsolutely a fantastic place to train! Great people and extremely clean environment! If your looking for a place with professional and high level training my recommendation is Verity BJJ.
Jennifer: I can't say enough good things about this place. I initially came just to feel out their free week of classes but then signed up on the spot. I've checked out other local BJJ facilities and found Verity BJJ to be the most affordable with classes that fit my schedule. Jed and Amy are incredibly inviting and make you feel welcome immediately. Everyone has been very accommodating and happy to work with me despite my inexperience. They've created a wonderful learning environment with terrific folks and I look forward to class every week. Check them out - you won't be disappointed.
Earnie Lee: Awesome team there. I love coming to visit on Friday and Saturday. They are welcoming to newcomers and they are under great instructors. Would recommend to anyone interest in Bjj to train here
Tyler Ruff: Fantastic gym. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness— you could tell the owners cared about the well-being of their students and focused on the little things (mints, hair ties, snacks) that went a long way. It was a great environment for all skill levels and I look forward to coming back to train. Jed was a very welcoming and skilled instructor.
Sasquatch Satterfield: Great instruction and a wonderful atmosphere.Jed and Amy are super friendly and welcoming, the facility is immaculate with an open layout. If you're in the area, go check them out.
D Smith: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueEveryone was welcoming and Jed was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable about BJJ!!! I plan on making many trips to this academy.
casey dean: Awesome gym. Smaller class sizes make for great attention to beginners. The entire gym has a brand new and clean. They are very well prepared for covid and offer temperature checks at the door.As for the coach; his way of explaining just makes things click even for beginners like me. His teaching style develops and builds off of the previous lessons but is also easy to pick up for a first time student.Extremely respectful and aware of physical and skill level limitations. Everyone there is polite and thrives off of learning from each other. Can’t recommend enough.
Tyler Wendell: Great instruction. Great atmosphere. Great Price. Give it a try and you will love it!
Call Chris: Awesome experience. Would give more stars if I could. My first class was very informative I am looking forward to next class
Brett Milano: Positive:Professionalism
Robert Eyerly: A+ experience so far with the crew at Verity in Cary. As a beginner, I appreciate the time Jed takes to help teach the fundamentals. Also, it's helpful playing against higher belts, who understand the game at a higher level and are willing to help us new players explore the movements more in depth. Clean mats and shiny new EVERYTHING, would recommend to anyone interested in trying out the sport, or to any parents who have children in need of a new hobby.
Heather Henderson: SO many great things to say about Verity BJJ! Family-friendly, SUPER clean, and top-notch instruction. If you feel your BJJ has plateaued, or you simply want to try a class and see what all the rave is about, this is the gym for you! Girls and Guys changing rooms/bathrooms, foot-washing station, mints and snacks - they truly thought of everything.
tater “cakesauce” Dev: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueFantastic place to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the area. Good instructors and also an amazing clean faclity with accomidations for hygenic cleaning.

Open Guard BJJ: what do users think?
Ryan Fidler: Had my son drop in for a class and he had a great experience. Mats are clean and instruction is good with lots of friendly coaches. Would recommend to anyone in area!
Mike Remes: Great Martial Arts Academy for the whole family. Both of my kids learned BJJ and kickboxing here, and I trained in the wrestling and BJJ classes. Great instruction, coaches are great at teaching kids and keeping them engaged. Instruction for adult classes was excellent and focused. Most importantly the atmosphere and culture are great. Highly recommend for all ages and experience levels.
Keith Barrow: Very family friendly, positive and clean environment. My daughter attends here and has for only a few months, yet she already feels welcome and included. The instructors (coaches) are knowledgeable and very patient with the kids. Good environment with positive people. I would highly recommend someone at least come and try a class and just observe.
Anthony Molden: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat environment great people overall great place everyone works together to get one another better. On my first day there one of the higher skilled guys pulled me aside and taught me the basics and fundamentals . Just shows what kind of people train here.
Cameron Manning: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueFantastic place to take BJJ lessons. Everyone is so welcoming, the instructors are super personable, they have diiferent class levels. Even though it is a friendly enviornment it does still have the nature of a martial arts studio.
Marc Scheidig: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat instructors with many years of experience. Best BJJ and kickboxing school I've been to.
Gabe: I emailed in to coordinate dropping in for BJJ while I was in town for work and I got a response really quick. Upon arriving I noticed the large facility and noticed how packed it was! Left side was standup with the bags and was jam packed. Right side was mainly BJJ and almost filled every part of the mat.Owner, instructors, and students were unbelievablely nice. Everyone was super welcoming and treated me just like I was a regular.I highly recommend stopping in to try out this gym! I definitely will be back the next time I get a chance.
R K: Outstanding instructors. Great environment to learn BJJ.
Gavin Hughes: Starting going to classes as a family two months ago. A few things to note. None of us (parents, two kids) had any experience with martial arts so we didn't know what to expect. I was surprised to find myself on the mat ten minutes after walking in the door working on moves and submissions. My wife and I both loved it. Everyone is helpful, both instructors, and other students. The general attitude in this place is wonderful. Our kids were not especially eager to try this initially, but once they got in the class, that was it. They were hooked. The kid's instructors make new kids feel very welcome, and they make practice fun. Kids are on the mats in contact and working on submissions like the adults but with teaching tailored to their age. This place is a 100% recommend. We just moved to Cary and it is one of our luckiest discoveries here.
Tayjes Shah: Popped in on a Saturday for open mat. Extremely chill and welcoming atmosphere. High level guys with good attitudes. Highly recommend.
Andrew Cobin: I have a limited perspective, since I can only attend the noon time classes, but I have been very happy training here. The instruction is spot on, and the students are great training partners. I look forward to every training opportunity at Open Guard, as I'm sure anyone who is willing to give BJJ a go would be. Come discover something to be truly passionate about.
Matt West: If you have a younger child and are focused on BJJ do not attend this school. While the other disciplines and adult classes seem run well the youth classes are not. Teacher to student ratio is out of balance. Also this location requires a contract. Most of your better schools don't do this. Go visit and watch some other classes and see how they are run prior to coming here. Before they post their rebuttal I will state I asked to NOT be charged the last month of the contract as so many classes had been canceled due to special instructors for the adults and kickboxing tournaments. Additionally the main instructor for the kids class took a break and the replacement classes were not worth my or my kids time. They refused to not charge me the last month. I have moved my son to a different school I won't miss the money for one month I just encourage parents to go sit through at least two other schools before signing here.
Josh Mazz: Great facility. Very welcoming and awesome techniques. Even tougher rolls... Ossss!
Marie Vaughn: Great atmosphere, friendly patient and personable instructors. Wide range of ages and skill levels in fellow students. My son and I are highly enjoying it.

Team Casarez Jiu-Jitsu: what do users think?
Hamdy Salman: I have been taking my son to Team Casarez Jiu-Jitsu for almost 1 year now. At first I wasnt very sure about it, my son is 5 and is very energetic and hyperactive so I had my fears about him being able to adapt and focus enough to learn the basics of this sport. But as the time went by I changed my mind and stayed in this gym until leaving NC. Here are some of my notes and I hope they are helpful1- The staff as of the time of this post has been nothing short of outstanding. Fast response, able to understand customer needs and schedule, they even split the kids classes from two spots a week to 10 spots a week where you get to choose when to come, I tried to send my son every day.2- The coaches are well educated and highly trained, but most importantly patient and calm with kids. My son is very active and he does run and jump and makes noises, I was very surprised to see that they were able to grab his attention and he even learned a lot of things. Side note, I was even more impressed that the owner would dedicate time to teach young kids when he is a black belt and has better things to do.3- I would have loved to have the chance to do some workout while my son was in the gym but the space is limited to training, hopefully in the future you guys will expand and take that into consideration4- The trust that I had with this team allowed me to sometimes drop my son and go do something urgent for 5-10 mins without me worrying about him in the gym - this is obviously isnt recommended we are all supposed to watch our kids while they train and interact but I felt confident in them to do so.5- This is worth every penny you pay !!
Lauren English: Such a great place to learn martial arts im learning alot my teacher is great hes helping me work around my right hand issue because im underdeveloped and disabled but they help me be good at martial arts anyway and its great self defense and everyone is welcoming. Its a great physical activity im learning alot. Its great for kids too and its for everyone
2X Lsadf: All my 3 kids are there. Great instructors and helped improve my kids confidence and self difference. The teach enabled my son to win BJJ tournaments, so it's legit.
Rory Metzger: Awesome gym, super clean, really inviting, great instructors. I am new to BJJ and was really intimidated at first (I have heard most places just throw you into the fire) but Team Casarez totally changed my perspective and I’ve had a great experience going. When you first start they instruct you on the basics and teach a lot of useful techniques and then you get to move into rolling with other students. I’ve been going for about two months now and haven’t had a bad experience, everyone who goes is really friendly and is always willing to teach you new stuff and make you better. I have friends who attend other gyms and they tell me about the bad experiences they’ve had, and I haven’t run into any problems going here. I recommend Team Casarez to anyone who’s starting out and even for the more seasoned students. Awesome gym all around!
George Callahan: Casarez is a great place for beginners, everyone is very welcoming and the instructors are patient and eager to explain concepts. Look no further. Awesome instruction and curriculum.
Elijah Santiago: Had a awesome open mat night with Team Casarez!great good of guys, very friendly vibe, well rounded skilled group of people. Highly recommended
Kathryn Thomann: All the staff and members were extremely welcoming and encouraging, and I enjoyed building foundational BJJ skills. If you need a first dip into martial arts, this is the place for you!
H. C.: Great teacher and great training partners. This is a wonder place for people to come train of all ages. I train here with my two young sons and the schedule is set up to be flexible for people to attend all week. No contract to sign up and it is world class instruction. great place to meet friends and cool people. Dont be scared, come say what's up and start your journey now so you don't regret it later.
Melissa Brown: Impressive! Large, open space, kept very clean. The owners are friendly and supportive. Also, great for kids! You should absolutely come check these guys out. Highly recommend.
Michael: I've been taking Jiujitsu classes here for just over two months. For me the most important thing is that its a good community. I work with my hands, so I can't afford to miss work for injury and so my #1 criteria was to find a gym where people are training safely, and I've found that here. Along with being safe everyone has been very friendly and open to help each other learn. The instruction is very efficient, trying to get in an entire class in ~one hour is challenging so they get right to the lesson, training, and application all fairly seamlessly with little downtime, which I appreciate.A side note since I looked at these reviews before joining, I was able to get an membership pause for a month I'm out of town without any issues.Overall, its a killer workout, great community, and quality instruction.
Brad Carrier: Super friendly place to visit for great instruction and sparring. Don’t hesitate to stop in!!
cody cowin: I’ve trained and competed across the US and Team Casarez is high level Jiujitsu. Tony and his coaches respect their students, protect their athletes, and teach with humility. Whether it’s your first time trying Brazilian Jiujitsu, or you’ve been on the path for awhile, you’ll be better all around by walking into Team Casarez Jiu-Jitsu and signing up to learn the art.
Matt Serra: Absolutely the best BJJ you'll find in the triangle regardless of your training intent -- whether your goals are competition, self-defense, or just to get in shape, Tony, Ferny, and everybody else here are more than willing to help you on your journey. It's rare to find an academy where the environment/culture is equally as friendly and welcoming as it is effective about the actual training involved, but Casarez BJJ does just that.
Jay B: Kids classes are outstanding; wish there were more days offered though. I tried several gyms in the area for my kids, and this one by far is the best overall experience. All of the coaches are on point. No need to compete, but if you do the coaches will be in your kids corner in tournaments.
Brett Epstein: Awesome gym.Searched for months before committing to a gym and it was definitely worth the wait. Great jiu jitsu and most importantly great people.
Kylecastain: The lead instructors Tony and Ferny are top notch. They are welcoming, open, and very easy to talk to. They are great to learn from, and have a very welcoming environment. The best choice I've made is joining their school .
Zp Rb: Top notch facility for learning jiu jitsu. I have been attending for about 1 month now, and my experience has been amazing. Having never trained a martial art in my life, I was worried about starting. Every member of the team has been extremely welcoming, with absolutely zero judgement. Everyone is willing to help, and excited to share their knowledge. Professor Tony and all of the coaches are gems of humans and run a fantastic facility. I highly recommend making this your gym.
Game of Pennies: The Coaches are knowledgeable martial artists, and have decent training parameters, but are very poor businessmen, and very poor customer service agents. Not only did they lie about the contract, but no matter how many times I tried to make peace, the primary coach was rude, actively combative, and made no attempts at understanding my family's situation. He lied about the costs (quoted different discount prices for the 3rd person on the contract), and also lied about how they handle account freezes.Do not join this gym if you expect any gaps in your training. You will continue to pay for the membership, whether you are available to train (whether the issue be sickness, injury, or travel).I have never seen a sensei or master that cared so little for the individual student as I have observed here.
Patrick Rovero: A great team. The students, coaches, and professors are welcoming, knowledgeable, and humble. If you want to compete, come to this school. You want to just learn a new life skill, come to this school. If you just want a new way to workout to supplement your current regimen, come to this school. If you feel like you have trouble fitting in, come give this a try. I've never seen a new student not be welcomed.
Tess miller: I have never seen such an unprofessional way to conduct a business. This is a "boys only club" who is led by a coach that knows no bounds. Which is good for the sport a d spirit. However, when other artworks are expressed; go to an MMA gym . This place is run like words I won't express. And the coach is a real piece of work. Tried calling to make amends and he was a piece of work on the phone. Even though he terminated (via yelling) he won't refund.Absolutely best for new comers.Worst a day done and dirty for anyone with experience.
Daniel Gamer: Positive:Professionalism,QualityI visited the gym while in North Carolina from New York. Tony and his brother were super welcoming. I had a great time training and got in some good rolls with good people. I look forward to training here again the next time I’m in North Carolina.
