Southern Park Music School is a community music school, offering music instruction to students of all ages and experience since 1964. Our Spring Term 2023 began January 16 and ends June 5, 2023 and includes 19 weeks of lessons. We accept new students at any time.

We have a beautiful recital hall, and offer programs about once a month during the school year. Recitals are free to performers and audience members.

We have 8 studios for private lessons. Each studio has an acoustic piano. All piano lessons are given on grand pianos.

Our excellent faculty members have extensive education and experience. Many have advanced degrees in music.

They look for expertise and experience of course, but also they look for teachers that keep lessons FUN and offer an engaging experience for your child. so your student can have the right personality and the right teaching style that works for them. All our teachers have teaching experience, a degree in music or extensive performing experience, and most importantly, a fun, motivating personality that you're sure to love! Not only are our lesson rooms equipped for all lessons, our waiting room is great for parents and other family members waiting for lessons. Take advantage of our free Wi-Fi. And if you prefer, we have an open door policy for our lessons, you are always available to sit in on the lessons or watch through each rooms large window.

We offer our students the opportunity to participate in national piano federation festival competitions throughout the year. These are optional, but many of our students like to participate.

We hold recitals twice a year and our students love performing. We also have smaller community events that our students can participate in (invitation only). The recitals are optional for all students, but most students choose to perform. We keep our recitals festive and fun!

Conveniently located on Ardrey Kell Rd in the Fountains Shopping Center (near Blakeney)!

Our school is convenient and draws students from Ballantyne, Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin, Pineville, Indian Land and the surrounding areas. We are easy to find on Ardrey Kell Rd, with shopping and restaurants close by (Blakeney, Rea Farms, Waverly)

We offer lessons 12 months a year. No need re-enroll each semester or year.

Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of music. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime! To stop lessons, we just need a 14 day notice.

Virtuoso School My son began taking piano from Svetlana when he was 5 years old and I could not be happier.
