She came back and pinned a glittery tulle under my dress. That was it. That was what the dress needed! When I went to pick my dress up, Savannah was there. She was also amazing! She let me stand there in my dress for as long as I wanted! She also helped me pick out my earrings and a different veil. So so happy with Savvy and will be recommending them to anyone else in the Charlotte area!!

Emily Webb: On Tuesday afternoon I made an apt for Savy Bride for the next day Wednesday 12:45pm. I had planned to spend my Wednesday dress shopping to find the perfect dress. Wednesday morning I was able to find the YES dress at another bridal store before my Savy apt. I called Savy prior to my apt to let them know I had found the dress and to cancel my apt please. Unfortunately I was still charged the no show fee of $50. I called and asked them why I was still charged even though I had found my dress and they said it was policy. By this time it was 12:30 and I was in uptown Charlotte near the Savy store, I asked them if I could still come to my apt and shop around and be refunded the $50. I was informed that no even if I came to my apt that I was still going to be charged. My perfect day dress shopping quickly fell short because of this. I will not be returning.
Christina: Absolutely love the dress I got from here for my special day. The young lady that helped me find the perfect dress was great and the experience was amazing. However, I just wish they kept that same care after the purchase. I had some questions/concerns that I emailed and called about. Not one phone call or email response back. That’s disappointing when I choose to give someone my business for such an important purchase as this. Nevertheless everything ended up working out but still wish my concern was addressed

Kristen Bilney: Ladies of Lineage deserves much more than 5 stars. I don’t even know where to begin. Absolutely unmatched service here - Elizabeth, Natasha, and all the ladies who were there for my appointment were amazing. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and honest - which I think is so important!Going into my appointment, I had a style that I knew I liked but was open to any and everything. Elizabeth listened to my likes and dislikes and pulled the most beautiful dresses for me, it was so hard having to choose just one. At one point, I had two dresses on at the same time so they could show me how I could combine styles. Once I decided I liked the combination, we put my first choice back on and Natasha cut up some lace for me and pinned it to the dress for an even better idea of the final product - it was absolutely stunning.One of the dresses I tried on I LOVED, but it just wasn’t the style I wanted for my wedding day. We started talking about how it would be perfect for my rehearsal dinner and welcome party if it was either a midi/mini dress. Once I left, Elizabeth called the designer to see if they could do that and they said yes! I wish I could come back and try on new dresses every day!Thank you, ladies, for making this such a wonderful experience, I really couldn’t be happier.
Hannah Quire: There is no better place to buy your wedding dress. I was so nervous about the shopping experience, but from the minute I stepped foot in their showroom, they embraced me with open arms and made me feel comfortable and beautiful. They took extra efforts not only during also after my appointment to make me feel considered and special, and my consultant remembered me each time I called and came by the store. They even offered me an alterations recommendation in a completely different state when I told them I was moving, which made the process so much less stressful in the midst of an already-hectic move. I cannot rave about Ladies of Lineage enough, and for any bride that is feeling nervous about the dress shopping experience (or just wants to feel a little bit of extra love during their wedding planning process), this is the place to be.
Ashley Lenns: Elizabeth was so kind and helpful through my appointment, especially since it was my first time shopping for a wedding gown! She took my wants and “maybes” into account and we tried on dresses of all styles to confirm what I liked. The very first dress she put me in turned out to be THE ONE! I felt completely comfortable with Elizabeth, and she made me feel beautiful through the entire experience. The boutique is intimate and beautifully decorated, and there are no distractions during your appointment so the focus will be on you. I cannot wait to come back to pick up my dress when it arrives! Brina Brasure: Ten stars if I could. Ladies of Lineage provided THEE best experience of my entire wedding planning process. I was engaged for a long time, tried on many dresses in that time and went to many stores in that time. Not only is this where I found THEE dress, it was such a wonderful experience. The women there are so welcoming and nice, but they’re also very good at what they do. After informing my stylist on how many dresses over the number of years I’d tried on and what I was really looking for, assuming she probably figured I’d be a walkout (as did I), we walked through the most beautiful display of dresses and started choosing. I pulled some, she chose some, and then the try-on process started.Spoiler alert: The first one she put me in ended up being the one. It had everything I described to her I was looking for, but when she initially pulled it asking what I thought, I just took it as an “okay, I’ll try it on.” I’m so glad I did. She knew what she was doing and I was immediately “wow!”. While it was a wild card, it really was what I described to her. I tried on several others and she was very patient and informative. Ultimately, I was torn between two and asked to come back the next day. They had an opening, I went back, still couldn’t decide. It was between the dress I was looking for and the dress I didn’t know I was looking for. I sat on the decision for a month and in that time knew which one was “the one”. Third time back in and I said “yes!”. A few months later I went back in for final measurements, then several months later I went in for the dress pickup. They even took videos of getting me into the dress and how to do it so I could show my sisters that couldn’t be there from another state. I also got my earrings and veil from them and they have the best and most vast selection of jewelry and accessories than any other store I’d be to.At an appointment I thought would just be another appointment and defeat, staring at the same dresses every other store has, it was entirely the opposite. They have the whole package— beautiful/upscale store, great location, on-site parking, the best selection of dresses and accessories, wonderful staff and customer experience. You can’t go wrong. They made me feel important and special at every appointment, not just the first one. The girl I had at the first appointment was fantastic, but no longer there, so after that appointment, Katelyn took over and I continued to work with her. She made the experience so great and enjoyable. She made me feel like a friend picking up where we left off. Everyone that works there was always part of the experience and helping out at every visit. You can tell they have a true team dynamic, and as a business owner myself, that says a lot about a company. Every appointment I would tell them I want to work there. If you don’t find your dress at Ladies of Lineage, you’ll at least have the ultimate bridal experience and feel the way you want to feel and should feel. But— you’ll probably find your dress here, too. And be showered with champagne. :)

The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Natasha and Elizabeth were so knowledgeable which made the whole process feel easy. Tor White: The manager, Madison, was absolutely amazing! The shop is very welcoming, clean, and makes for beautiful pictures. Madison made sure we felt like family. It was one of the best experiences I've had at a bridal shop. We scheduled the appointment same day but you would have thought it was scheduled weeks in advance. As a "plus size" bride she made me feel as if I was in a shop that catered to plus size women. Honestly, they should have more plus size models displayed in their advertisements. Nevertheless, I rate my initial experience a 10 out of 10. I pray I'm just as happy with my experience come February because I said YES TO THE DRESS!

She was helpful and kind plus gave me a ton of really useful information. She picked a dress for me to try that was spot on and ended up being my dress! My family and I felt very comfortable and the store and dresses are diverse/gorgeous, definitely something for everyone. I went to a few stores after but ultimately went back because the others didn’t quite compare.

I never thought that I’d get my dress at my first appointment but Madison took such great care of me and helped me find the perfect dress. Kristin Wells: I should have listened to the many negative reviews. The one lady others have referred to as mean and unhelpful is absolutely true. She’s not a good person. And Camille. I don’t have many words for Camille. I just don’t understand how she sleeps at night, treating people like she does. This business is crooked. My advice (and many, many others’), take your business elsewhere.

Local Reviewer: After my experience just now I decided to write this review. It’s 4:45 I just tried calling to let them know I want to pick up my items in a few days so they don’t just “donate” all my high end items. They rejected the call several times then picked it up voices and everything in the background and hung it up right away and then proceeded to unplug the phone completely. This is my breaking point with these people because every time I’ve been in they are so rude, unprofessional, and have frankly disgusting behavior. I have watched them act this way with other customers right in front of my eyes as well. A lot of the clothes they sell are dirty old and not in style by any means also. My family has sold LV Gucci YSL and more high end designer items with them and I am 100% done. I can see so many people have the same experience with this place by all the bad google reviews and lots of likes on only the bad reviews. This place needs a new owner and an entire new staff.
Shannon Williams: I came here with designer items to consign, wasn’t greeted but that’s fine, I hung around the cash wrap with my bags and waited for someone/anyone to address me. I continued to wait while the employees at the register fawned over the woman who was purchasing, finally an employee with an unfortunate pink hair situation deigned to look at me and asked “do you need something?” Like she couldn’t understand what I could possibly be doing waiting in line at the cash register. I told her I wanted to consign and she said “let me see what you have” 🤯 at this point my mind is blown that anyone could conduct business this way, but ok, she looks at my items, takes in what she wants and tells me I’m free to go. I have to ask, do I need to sign something? Note I’ve never consigned here before, no one has asked me for my information. She looks at me like I have 5 heads before handing me a form to fill out with my information. In retrospect I should have taken my items and left, hopefully I don’t have to cross paths with this particular employee when I come back to pick up my check, and I will definitely not be consigning here again!
Jaime stuck: The older blonde lady was SUPER nice and had to make up for the younger MEAN girl. The younger girl was so rude and body shamed both my 12 and 20 year old daughters. VERY hurtful, my daughters are beautiful, smart, STRONG southern women with Christian values and 100% real.
Somewhere yet Nowhere: The ladies who work there are so unfriendly and rude. I felt like I was annoying them by shopping there. Not once did they greet me, smile or ask to help. I will not be back to shop at this store. The majority of the clothes are not high end or in trend and were overpriced.
Inez Eldewek: Divine Consign is a high end Consignment store. I know many think that if it’s used it is not something that I would be interested to buy. Well let me tell you about this store, you can find only high end items without the hefty price tag and in great condition! Looking for an authentic Louis Vuitton or Chanel bag? You name it it’s at the store and even if they don’t carry it they will call you when they get new pre loved items. It is my favorite consignment store in Charlotte. The owner Camille, is mostly available to answer all your questions and accept your consignment items. Well you can tell how much I love the store 😊I can’t believe I wrote that long of a review! You won’t regret it I promise ☺️
Enchanted Valley: Really nice people. Great selection of brand names such as Prada, Channel, LV, and others. Very clean and organized store and has great prices!! Should check it out for yourself.

It's nerve racking making a purchase online of a pre-owned item you've never seen before from a store you've never visited. Jessica Freilich: This store is way far out. On the edge of what I consider to be civilization, really. However, it's awesome for finding unique, off beat and slightly quirky finds. Their purse collection is really good for higher-end work and play pieces.They have never taken any of my things though, which is disappointing. Due to the distance from Uptown, I only head there on Saturdays.

The clothes and accessories are well-priced and stylish. They sell many name-brand items. I can't recommend Divine Consign highly enough and can't imagine anyone else not having the wonderful experience I have had when I visit.
K528i: *********UPDATE! 6/30/2016I went in today to voice my concerns and the owner was great, we worked thru the issue and she offered a discount on my purchase and one on another pair, so we ended up buying another pair of Sunglasses for my Husband.I will retract my review if I ever get word back from them.I went in yesterday, saw a pair of Dior sunglasses asked to try them on, asked if they were authentic and the sales girl said "oh yes, we don't sell anything that isn't, we are very careful". I was ready to buy them thought, let me look in the other case, found a pair of Maui Jims I liked better. Purchased-excited!Got home, washed them, realized the lenses were not authentic, no Maui Jim written in them, went to the website and they are supposed to be glass lenses and they are plastic lenses. I emailed them right away, Facebook messaged and posted a comment on their page that I have sent two messages.Haven't heard a word back. So I learned a $106.00 lesson.
Tlee R: Poor and ridiculous management. First, I'd expect to get some sort of itemized receipt after dropping off a number of items to their store. Otherwise, do you trust that they are tying what you drop off to your account and not someone else's? I have consigned at other shops and received an itemized list. Second, you drive there and they tell you you need to provide self addressed and stamped envelopes for them to send you checks for sales. "Yep, let me just go to my car where I keep envelopes and stamps", right! And like I'm gonna drive home and back just to bring them 2 envelopes and two 49 cent stamps. They can't just take whatever my check is and deduct 49 cents or whatever?! Then the kicker! I brought them my consignment because I moved across the country so I can't come by and pick up checks. So the check is for only $5. I suspect they lost track that my items were from me and sold them--I get regular checks for about $150 from another store. AND I'm told they won't mail a check for only $5 amount because if it doesn't reach me it costs them a $35 bank fee. Unbelievable! They are telling me they won't send me a check in the mail on the off chance I don't get it. I get all my other mail including checks for $1000, postcards, birthday cards....These people are ridiculous!! The people that helped me when I dropped off my items and I've called 3 times and each experience has been with someone with a bad attitude. I see other reviewers met those same people. I regret consigning with them and would feel better having just donating my items. Consign elsewhere. There are other great stores in Charlotte. The only reason I went here is because I couldn't get a last minute appointment at other shops.

Claire Benfer: After several visits I have decided to write a review about my experience with this shop.Perhaps the owner might learn something here with regards to customer relations.Each time I went to Design Consign, I felt unwelcome. No greeting upon entering the store and absolutely no acknowledgement of my presence while shopping. This last time (and this was my LAST visit), I patiently waited until the two sales people (I think one was the owner) were finished talking and asked them a question about an item. The sales woman replied in a very snobby and curt fashion, leaving me quite stunned. The two previous times I shopped here I have had similar experience.It is my opinion that customers are vital to the success of any business, especially when the customer leaves happy and satisfied. I have read some other reviews and see that I am not alone in my opinion about this shop. Clearly they need a wake-up call.

After looking in some other similar boutiques in Charlotte the experiences really couldn’t even come close to what Hayden Olivia offers. I would highly recommend to Charlotte area brides!

The experience was personal and I never felt pressured to make an impulse decision. Lauren Carter: Extremely disappointed with the coordination of their recent "Sample Sale." I made an appointment for Sunday, November 27th at 2:00pm. I drove 4 hours roundtrip with my mom for the sale, and when we arrived, no one as there. I buzzed in multiple times, knocked on the door, left multiple voicemails, and after 20 minutes of waiting outside, we left. On top of that, 4 days later, I have not received a follow-up or apology from the store for the oversight on their end.I called several other bridal stores that day. Winnie Couture was able to accommodate an on the spot appointment to preview dresses. I recommend Winnie Couture if you are looking for high-end designs and excellent customer service. I appreciated them fitting me in last minute, even though they were completely booked.

Not only is the boutique beautiful inside, their dress collection is premiere, and their staff is so lovey! The team at HOB helped me throughout the whole process from holding my dress until I could pick it up and give my sister who couldn't come with us on the day I found my dress a proper in store reveal, assist with tailor and cleaner recommendations, and they have the best accessories - I was able to get my veil and earrings there too! They went above and beyond from my first appointment, when I wanted to try on a dress that the store did not have in stock and they ordered a sample for me. Living out of town gave me a really small window of time to pick up my dress and get alterations completed and the team worked with the designer to get my dress to the store when needed. Beyond that, they were very responsive to my (many) emails, and kept me updated and reassured. Highly recommend HO for NC brides or beyond!

I had the pleasure of working with Amanda. i had went to 4 appointments that day and The treatment I got from Fabulous Frocks was by far the most kind, genuine, and professional. She even pulled out some suggestions she had that were choices I never would have thought of but fit with what I was going for and was honest in her feedback when i asked questions pertaining to price, and alterations. Cass Geiger: Beautiful boutique with a variety of gorgeous gowns!! Everyone, especially our stylist Emily, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were from out of town, got lost, and showed up 30 minutes late to the appointment. The staff catered to us and made sure I tried on as many gowns as I wanted to! I brought two of my friends and we were immediately offered water and/or champagne. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for wedding dresses. The store itself was cozy with great lighting.

I really appreciated how low pressure the whole team was - all dresses were tagged with clearly visible prices and they never put you in a dress outside of your budget. They also are fully understanding and supportive if you have other appointments booked, knowing most people book multiple appointments in a day. In fact, I found my dress at J. Majors but ended up keeping my second appointment elsewhere just to be sure. The second experience was not even CLOSE to J. Majors and I couldn’t get back enough to officially say yes! Highly recommend for all prospective brides.

Appointment scheduling was a breeze, great communication leading up to my appointment (really appreciated the detailed parking info), and the consultants were wonderful to work with! After getting settled in, my consultants walked me around the floor and told about each designer - then, I was able to go back through with my mom and best friend, tagging dresses we liked and wanted to try on. The consultants were so friendly and super helpful, even pulling additional dresses for me once they understood what I was looking for. I never felt rushed and my anxiety over finding a dress disappeared after having much more stressful experiences dress shopping at other stores. I would recommend everyone J. Majors to everyone!

Katharine Eleanor Padgett-Beard: I have never been one to enjoy shopping and I have always struggled to feel comfortable and confident when trying on clothes -- especially dresses -- so when it was time to go wedding dress shopping, I was extremely worried I would have a similar experience. I honestly was dreading wedding dress shopping. J Majors was the first appointment we scheduled and it was already shaping up to be a stressful day (very early wake-up, long drive from SC, awful weather and traffic on I-77). I called to let the staff know we would be a bit late and from that very first interaction, the staff were kind, understanding, warm and inviting. Emilee was the consultant who was helping me and very quickly put me at ease with the whole experience and made the morning an absolute dream. She showed me around the dresses they had which is quite a variety! I picked a few to try and liked different things about each of them, but hadn't found the exact "one." Emilee asked if I would like her to pull a few dresses. The first two were pretty, but the third... Oh. My. God. My dress. I found my dress. I had the moment I seriously doubted I would have. We still had another appointment to go to across town, and while I was pretty sure I had found THE dress, I wasn't comfortable saying yes just yet. Emilee and the rest of the staff didn't push us to make a decision right then -- they showed they genuinely cared that I was happy and that it wasn't just about making a sale. We went to the second appointment... and were back at J Majors an hour later, excitedly knocking on the door (we forgot to call ahead--whoops!). Emilee and the rest of the team took the time to let me put the dress on one more time and again I had that "this is it" moment. I am so very grateful for Emilee and the J Majors team for making me feel so comfortable and for creating an experience that was truly magical.So if you, like me, are a bride who may not love shopping and are apprehensive about the whole wedding dress shopping experience, this is the team and the boutique for you.
