ATEMI-RYU NC: what do users think?
Melinda Oakes: My son really looks forward to his classes. Thank you for all you do :)
james bain: great place to train.
Blake Norton: Amazing dojo! The instructors are very knowledgeable and are great at teaching.
Carlene Sharp: Staff ensure you work to your level or ability then encourage you to move forward. Atmosphere is open and family friendly. This is one of my few happy places in Fayetteville!
Jennifer Norton: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you have done for my children. They’ve been enrolled with you at Atemi-Ryu Jujitsu 2 years now and counting. During this time, I have watched them progress through different levels of jujitsu. Your ability to motivate the students is enviable. I have observed that this carried over into every aspect of their life. They put forth 100% in all they do whether it is academic or the sport. I respect you as an instructor. The courtesies that you portray before, during and after classes are not lost on your students. They emulate you in every day life. I appreciate the amount of patience and understanding that you show, especially with the younger students that need help. I thank you for the way in which you have built self-confidence in Blake and Kamryn. With each belt color they have matured and with that a feeling of self-esteem. Jujitsu is about self-control and defending yourself every day. I admire the way that you make the whole learning process fun and enjoyable. Thank you for being a role model for them. You are someone they genuinely respect and admire. At this dojo we are FAMILY! We are devoted to Atemi-Ryu Jujitsu and do not hesitate to recommend your dojo to all that inquire. Again, Thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of my children!
David Caldera: Great place to learn traditional jujitsu and aikido with street applicable techniques that keep the art alive and current.
Kamryn Norton: Great self defense classes and even greater people!
Kevin Simmons: AWESOME seminar last weekend! Great teachers with diverse techniques all geared toward true self defense...not sport. It was great to have so many different Martial Artist to work with in one room. Grandmaster "Doc" did an excellent job of teaching techniques and it was great to have so many high level sensei's working those techniques with the attendees. It motivates me to continue on this journey of studying Martial Arts.

Elevo Dynamics: what do users think?
Khalil Zitouni: called and this man bret or brent just started cursing and calling me a scammer just because I have an accent such a racist and hatful person, would not call or go there again
Adam White: I’ve been going to this martial arts facility and gym for a long time and I love it! Best fitness facility in Fayetteville!
Calvin E Suddieth III: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Francis Cicchini: When you join Elevo Dynamics, you join a family of committed professionals dedicated to teaching the art of To-Shin Do. Based in the traditional methods of Ninjitsu, To-Shin Do focuses on self defense, ground combat, weapons, and space manipulation to dominate offensive and defensive situations. Balancing against the violence of action, Elevo Dyanmics teaches a student creed and code of mindful actions that creates a student body prepared to apply appropriate responses to all aspects of life. For my family, Elevo continues to build confidence in my kids and life skills, and is a recommended school of choice for the novice or experienced martial artist.
Andrew Fry: Positive:ProfessionalismOne of the best Martial Arts facilities I've been to! With unique styles to choose from, everyone can find one or more to enjoy. A family-friendly environment with a great and professional staff! The best part is the 24/7 gym access, so whether you're a morning person or a night owl, you can come in anytime for a great workout.
Al de Orleans: Amazing facility. Love the 24 hour access to the gym portion. Always clean. Best part is that they are always doing life skills classes. Not just martial arts. Very kid friendly. Highly recommended.
Terance Gogan: Our family went to build unity and relationships, we could have asked for a better place. Our family not only had fun we also learned a great deal of discipline, respect, and physical fitness. We also gained a greater sense of self. The team of leaders is wonderful to work with. The staff is friendly, respectful, and work with you and your family situation as needed. They care and are concerned for your progress and its not just a business it is about the individual needs and care and concern. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to go, the facility has everything you need and the 24 hr gym is awesome. The training is phenomenal, you are able to excel and progress among the ranks and it helps you overcome fears of performing in front of others if you are shy. I would recommend Elevo Dynamics to anyone who is looking to improve and better their lives and family relationships they have something for all ages. Don’t wait go there today and see for yourself!
Barbara Goldentyer: I signed up to try their program and my work schedule changed so I couldn't attend classes. They wouldn't let me cancel. I offered to pay a cancellation fee and they said there wasn't one. Months later with no notice, no bills at all, I get a call from a collections agency demanding over $500. This is all over a gym membership, which I'm not using because I can't attend the classes anyway. Also their classes consist of reciting information from their website and a series of horribly childish activities like sommersaults. Most of their students are teenage or preteen boys. Most classes no girls attended and most students leave every class without having broken a sweat at all. They practice pre-memorized self defense moves, but not sparring to actually try and use their skills. There is an incredible amount of BS about elements and suedo mystical nonsense. The head instructor does not teach most of the classes. He's too busy with his other money making ventures like book writing to bother with teaching. The main instructor I had was only a first degree black belt in the art and had little to no teaching experience. Also they have no hygiene - one kid peeled a large number of pieces of skin off his feet in the middle of class and no one stopped him. He just left a pile of skin bits on the floor for everyone to walk around. One of the grossest things I've ever seen.Just for perspective, I had seven years of martial arts experience before starting at this place. Including a second degree black belt in Kung Fu and training at 4 other schools (I moved around and switched from taekwondo to kung fu) over the years). I never saw any place act like this!
Kangen Water Truth: Elevo Dynamics provides an awesome environment with outstanding instructors. Sensei Hakim has developed a program that not only teaches children/adults the art of escape; it also instills character, discipline and confidence.I am so glad we made the decision to enter our son into the program.
Z L: Don’t sign the contract and don’t let your spouse sign it because you can never get out of it! They don’t care if you can’t afford it or can no longer attend, they just want your money. They continue to take our money even though she hasn’t been in months. Read the ridiculous cancellation policy on the website( you can only cancel if you have to move, get deployed). I hate this company and the fact that they are drafting $171 each month. Cancelling by calling the bank isn’t unethical, their policy is. I will remove this review if they allow cancellation.
Tammy Woody: My boys have been learning Ninjutsu at Elevo Dynamics for 3 years now and they Love Hakim and his qualified staff of trainers. They have more confidence in themselves and have grown in their physical abilities! This is a great martial art that not only teaches self defense but also focuses on discipline and character.
ALICIA LOWE: We've been coming to Elevo for almost two years now. Our son has been in their Ninjutsu Self Defense program since age 5 and it has been amazing for him. He struggles with ADHD and the trials that go along with focusing, impulse control, and being still. Those are things that are expected as a Ninja and it gives him an outlet to work on them. Hakim and the rest of the staff treat their students with respect and expect it in return. I love that they expect the same behavior in class to follow them outside of the dogym at home and school. They work with parents when needed to help correct and learn from poor behavior and choices. A belt earned can still be a belt taken away and have to be earned again. They teach so many things beyond self defense that will further help students in every day life. Our son has grown and shown so much potential that goes beyond his ADHD. They work with him and understand, but they don't treat him differently. They know what he is capable of and push him to the best of his ability, because they know he CAN. He really enjoys Ninjutsu and the dogym and all the staff members and cannot wait to earn his black belt! We've enjoyed watching his confidence and knowledge increase and the rest of the students blossom over the time that we have been there!
Tami Cantu: Elevo Dynamics is a one-of-a-kind martial arts learning center that encompasses enhanced life skills with unique self-defense learning techniques to inspire everyone to their greatest potential. My now 14-year-old son has been taking ninjutsu since the third grade. I have watched his abilities grow and enhance many other facets of his life to blossom a shy, little boy into a strong, confident young man. For a young man with ADHD, his abilities to stay focused and on task without medications has far exceeded what his providers said they ever would. He has learned a quiet self-confidence mixed with a burning desire to continue on with his training to better reach his goal of becoming a black belt. I never have to remind him to practice or study. He knows when its stripe/belt week. His instructors have been a blessing; inspiring and encouraging him to not only work to his potential but to strive to go beyond; to never quit. In a day and age of children thinking things should be handed to them, here they are required to do the work, to practice in order to move on to the next stripe, the next belt. Watching his confidence grow has been a true blessing. We are so thankful and proud to be a part of the training and friendships with our Elevo family! Elevo for life!
Joselyn Flores: Have been going to this gym for a year and I couldn’t love it anymore than I already do. The staff is very friendly, the facility is always clean and there’s a wide variety of machines and exercise areas. Would recommend to anyone looking for a gym in the Fayetteville area.
Bo Benton: Great place to learn and train in martial arts. I've been attending Kali and Silat for over two years and drive 40 minutes one way because there is no schools in my area. The instructor is dedicated to his work and teaches skills that can be used in real life scenarios. I feel every level I achieve is earned. I also enjoy hands on training with top ranking martial artist at elevo dynamic seminars. Always a friendly environment and clean facility. I would recommend this place to anyone. Keep up the good work!
Chris Rousey: Elevo Dynamics is a one of a kind all encompassing place of learning. Elevo Dynamics is unique because you learn actual life skills and self defense techniques from martial arts systems that in some cases are thousands of years old with an unbroken linage.I would recommend Elevo Dynamics to all ages. Whenever you are training you will always find something applicable to your life. Sometimes you may find yourself surprised by what you learn. Every day you will learn a life lesson which will increase your ability to survive in a dangerous situation and thrive in everyday life.I cannot say enough about Elevo Dynamics and the instructor staff. My life has certainly been changed because of them.
Geoffrey White: The martial arts classes are top-notch! Always a very encouraging experience, regardless of which instructor is there. The gym facilities are extremely clean and well-maintained, and the amount of equipment means that you can mix up your workouts in an endless variety of ways to meet whatever goals you may have. Super family-friendly atmosphere!
WandIvette RivRos: My son has been bullying at school. I took him to Elevo Dynamics to a “test” in order to find out if he was a candidate for Self Defense classes. I was almost sure that he would not be interested on the classes because he has never showed any interest in Martial Arts or sports. For my surprise at the end of the test my son looked at me and said: mom I want this!My son has autism, he is 17 in his chronological age, but in social skills he was between 8-12 when he started Elevo Dynamic around a year ago. My son is not only learning Self Defense at Elevo Dynamics: he’s improving his coordination, he’s getting confident in himself and he’s more mature.Something really important of this wonderful place is that integrated the families. There are classes for everyone in the family, even I took Self Defense classes specifically for woman.I’m really grateful with the staff at Elevo Dynamics: everyone of them treat my son with respect and help him to achieve his goals (he’s is a Yellow-Black Belt).Thank you Elevo Dynamics!!!
Virginia Curtis: My son has been going here about 1 1/2 years. From the beginning we were welcomed like a part of a family. Along with self defense he has learned confidence and self esteem. It has even helped him want to better himself and open himself up to learning Japanese.
sandria ball: My husband and boys have been attending the Toshindo Ninjistu school for many years now. They have all grown with respect, dignity, discipline and most of all highest level of confidence. I enjoy the 24 hour gym access as well. I highly recommend this establishment for all children including those with disabilities, beings I have one myself who is doing great as well.

Family Martial Arts Academy: what do users think?
Anna Anna: My daughter LOVES going to practice at Family Marital Arts. She is learning so much and is having the best time of her life. Her confidence is growing and I am so excited for her future !!!!
Phoenixwolf Hello: I take my son who had very little social interaction with kids his age. He has totally change his self esteem to positive. He is excited to be with his peers who teach one another and are instilling confidence and leadership traits.
Bonnie Patterson: My 9 year old boys have spent the last 2 years making lasting friendships, learning self discipline, getting super strong and becoming bully proof. If your kid is hyperactive they will learn to sit still longer and be more calm and respectful. I highly recommend them. They do treat you like family and love your kids. It has a much better feel than any other place.
Jenny Plyler: I enrolled my (very bright, but incredibly insecure, unsure, and timid) 11 year old son in the weekly program (I was DESPERATE to find something for him to connect with which wouldn't overwhelm him!) After the first (one-on-one) trial session with Master Huff, I drove a COMPLETELY different kid home than the one who had originally walked thru their doors! He was BEYOND proud of himself for his progress in that first session - My mom heart nearly exploded as he screamed at the top of his lungs, "I DID IT!!!!!," and we were both moved to tears as he was excitedly telling me about how good he felt about himself. He usually puts things off, but first thing this morning, he asked if we could attend tonight's group class. (I couldn't say, "YES!" fast enough!) All day today, I watched him carry his head higher than I've seen in years, and the genuine smiles and giggles were abundant (music to a worried mother's heart!) At the group session tonight, there were different levels of experience, and I was a little concerned b/c I know he gets intimidated when he doesn't feel sure of his ability compared to others... but when we got into the car THE MOST AMAZING WORDS CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH! "Mom, I was intimidated by the more advanced belts at first, but then they weren't perfect but they just kept trying... it was no big deal! I didn't feel bad about not being perfect after that... I want to practice when we get home." (Y'all - when I say this is UNHEARD OF, I'm not exaggerating in the LEAST! My kid DOES NOT accept not being perfect in front of his peers, and he shuts down on literally ANYTHING he can't master immediately.) He has asked if we can go back tomorrow, and has set a long-term goal of eventually earning a black belt! When we got home, he didn't even look at his video games... he started practicing his form.To the staff at Family MAA - the energy which exudes from your facility is so uplifting, motivating and positive that this worried mom's heart is overflowing! - I am FLOORED by the positive changes that only 2 sessions have made in my son's percieved self-worth, confidence, and overall energy. You have earned another student for life! - And as his mom, I cannot properly express to you how much this means to his family and me. We have always seen his potential, but you beautiful people have found a way to help HIM see it in himself... You are priceless. Thank you. We'll see you tomorrow, and every other day that our schedule will allow!
Chester Bolton: Someone stole my grandson’s tennis shoes while he was in class. Someone saw who did it but the people there said they would get the shoes back, which they did but they refused to tell me who did so I couldn’t call the police!!
Waleed Abdur-Razzaq: I received the warm and courteous welcome and excellent introduction to finding out the interest of your children in martial arts
Buffie Story: Love It! My Girls Love It! Tracy and her team is Wonderful! Very encouraging & supportive. They are the best at what they do.
Casey C.: Mediocre at best. The most concerning issue - they have ran our credit card for the past few months after we gave them ample notice of our leaving the area and that we would no longer be attending the academy. We have had to dispute each charge and get a new card. The location is less than desirable and there is no real staff, only the instructor. They also charge for everything. (Gi is a charge, the class is a charge, each belt test that they do way too frequently is a charge...) the quality of the instruction is mediocre at best, so if you hoped to learn actual self defense, look somewhere else.
A.M. Valcarcel: They get 5 starts from our family. We started our five year old with Ms. Huff about a month ago. He was so scared that he didn't participate for the first two times we went. Her patience and subtle persistence paid off and he loves it. He's so happy with the pee wee class and can't wait to see his continued growth.
Natascia Epps-Hamlett: My son really enjoys the time he spends with Family Martial Arts Academy. He is challenged and has fun. The instructor is awesome and knowledgeable in her craft.
Erin Welden: FMAA has become our second home. Tracy Huff is a fantastic mentor. She and the FMAA family are building the leaders of tomorrow. Teaching respect, building confidence, and creating well rounded, well prepared individuals.
Jason Sellers: We have been with Miss Tracy @ Family Martial Arts for several years now. We have never been disappointed.
Angela: She demands respect and teaches them things they will remember for the rest of their lives!

Team Tiger Karate Club - Shotokan Dojo: what do users think?
Rip X: I came with my dojo to do an inter dojo sparring session. All the teachers or professional and the students seems very respectful. Very nice-looking techniques too, although I think I might have left my hoodie there today lol If anyone is in that area and would like to study shotokan karate you would do yourself a great service to check out this dojo.
Marie: Sensi is so good with the kids. Also the other black belts that assist are just as helpful. Great guidance. Can't say enough good things.
LetGo: Love this place. Been here for over a year. Great leadership and the best prices around by far.
Rey Fajardo: Awesome group... they really know their stuff! Real Japanese Karate
Jonathan Krusinski: Fantastic environment for kids and adults to learn Karate. We felt comfortable right away, very friendly staff and instructors.
Geneva Shaw: .y oldest son has been going here for a year and a half now and my youngest started earlier this year. They both love it! We started right when covid hit, but Sensei Cook offered classes through zoom despite having to shut down the dojo for a while. Now that things have opened back up my boys have been ale to participate in tournaments and enjoy going to karate Monday through Turusday. This is a great place for both kids and adults!
Kayla Fackrell: The class sizes are huge, if you want your child to sit for 45 minutes out of the hour that's what you get. Not enough instructors. They do have the lowest prices, but you get what you pay for.
Clark: Positive:Value
Damon Ritz: Sensei Cook and his other Instructors are awesome. They communicate effectively with each and every student. The man is a saint whenIt comes to dealing with the students. It’s a great week to week set up. 1 week Kihons ( used to teach basic kicks, stances, blocks and strikes to entry level students), 1 week Katas (are executed as a specified series of a variety of moves, with stepping and turning, while attempting to maintain perfect form) and 1 week Sparring (form of training common to many combat sports. Although the precise form varies, it is essentially relatively 'free-form' fighting, with enough rules, customs, or agreements to minimize injuries)5:30-6:00 the little ones 3-56:00-700 the older ones ( but open to all ages, but adult)7:00-800 the bigger older ones ( but open to all ages, but adult)8:00-900 mostly adult, but someKids mixed in.
Rosalyn Hood: My twins love it here. I was extremely impressed from day one. Not only is there great instruction, there is a strong family atmosphere among the kids, staff, and parents.
Daniel bouchard: My family loves coming to this dojo. My daughter has matured and grown more confident in the past year. Sensei Cook is the best, he teaches his students to ensure he can get the best out of them.
Kevin Durham: We were greeted as family from day one! The amazing staff took the time to answer any and all questions. The team went out of their way to make us feel accepted. My son has grown and matured so much since starting here. Definitely part of the Team Tiger family for life.
V Drake: My son and I joined Team Tiger a few months ago and we have been having the best time! We are making friends and learning so much from Sensei Cook. Its a family centered environment and everyone has made us feel welcome. My son is High Functioning Autistic and Adhd, i have seen him gain confidence and he's also able to focus a bit better. The adult classes are fun and relaxed while also being challenging.
Christine Heinlein: A great place for Children and Adults to learn the craft of Karate. Sensai Cook understands his students’ weaknesses and helps them improve via drills and showing each student what they are doing right/wrong. It truly is like a family at TTK!
IndraSunrise: Our three children have been attending Team Tiger for seven months now.The cost isn't excessive, especially important with three children.Instruction is good. There are classes for children (younger and older), homeschoolers, and for adults.Weapons forms currently taught are Bo Staff, Kama, and Sword.
Paul Marascia: Recently my wife and I have been talking about where we want to buy a home. When considering all factors involved we both had a bit of differing criteria. However, one factor that we had in common was that it needed to be close to Team Tiger Karate Club. That is how much of an impact this Dojo has had on our son. The confidence that it has instilled and the family atmosphere the school provides makes this one of the best choices we have made in terms of his development. The Dojo is led by Sensei Charles Cook who balances fundamentals with just the right dose of discipline. Classes are fun and kept interesting for the students. My son often cannot wait until Karate class. It has been said that it takes a community to raise a child. We could not be more happy that Team Tiger Karate Club in Hope Mills is part of our community. My wife and I truly encourage your family to visit this school and to become part of this family.
Deborah Basile: Was a little disappointing when it was time to move on we were treated like outcast after 3 plus years of support is my only complaint we loved the place and my children done well there.
Miranda Lucas: I love this place so much my son has separation anxiety and has been going here for 5 months they built him up so much and pushed him out his comfort zone he's a different kid when he gets there he has so much confidence and it rolls over at home and school. I love how he holds the kids accountable for their actions. If you're looking for a place to build your kids up this is the place and it's very friendly place.
Rachel Ann: I have been taking my son to TTKC for a year now and have been blown away at how much my son has learned. The dojo is the perfect storm of a dedicated sensei who holds kids accountable in and outside of class, black belt young adults who are vested in the dojo and the kids who attend, and parents who cheer the successes of EVERY child. Charles and Carrie are vested in our kids and our community in a way that inspires both the students and parents. I highly recommend this dojo!!!

I’ve searched about 4 different places and came across Martial Arts of NC. Compared to the other nearby gyms, the instructor Jason is very personable, knowledgeable, has a great personality and makes you feel like family. Especially the students. You can tell a lot about a group of people by their leader. Everyone is friendly, patient and willing to help you. This place reminds me of my gym back at home! (Shouts out ELITE BJJ 🤙🏾).
Donut Best wide receiver: My child went here and he said it was fun they teach you well and they make sure you do it correctly because if does not they would sho him how to do it again but I moved but recommend coming here to learn how to fight

The Commitment and enthusiasm of this BJJ Family is built on a structure of professionalism and dedication Not only did it met my expectations but exceeded them. Thank you "Professor Jason" and staff for teaching a old dog some Amazing new Tricks
Hephzibah Bouriaque: 10/10 experience Suna was a very good instructor
Isaac Velazquez: 100 percent recommend. My first time ever going and everyone was so helpful and humble and just willing to teach. Marcus Was a great teacher as well! And the sensei was very Knowledgeable. This is the place to come.

Rou Long Ma School of Chinese Martial Arts: what do users think?
Jeffrey Linney: I was a student of Sifu Martin and Sifu Adames for nearly two years. Covid19 and then other life obstacles forced me to step away from my training, but I miss training with them immensely. Both men are incredible martial artists, very skilled, experienced, and knowledgeable of Northern Fist Shaolin Kung Fu and Yang Family Taijiquan. I want to get back there as soon as possible, and I highly recommend them to anyone interested or pursuing Chinese Martial Arts. And to all the Tai Chi haters out there, Sifu Martin will make a believer out of you...trust me!
Niceburn's Way: If you want to learn Kung Fu or Tai Chi this is the place to be! Both teachers take their time to explain postures and applications in detail and pay attention to correct feet, knee and hip positions so you will strengthen those areas rather than injure them.
b n: Great job
Robert McGee: Great instructors. Lots of individual attention.

Daquan Wilson: Had a great time learning in the firearm disarming class. Great opportunity to grow in my knowledge of self defense.
Cathy Cross: Very informative and definitely a worthwhile learning experience. I would definitely recommend this class.
Kris J: I attended the Firearm Disarming Bootcamp and had an excellent time. Even as a complete beginner to everything martial arts, I was able to keep up with what was taught. The staff was very friendly, and they taught in a way that I will always remember.
Deborah Johnson: Awesome class. Class included a PowerPoint lesson plan as well as practice sessions to apply the skills that were taught
Kendell Cheek: The staff is amazing! Very approachable and friendly. My daughter has been attending her for almost a year now. Her daily life has changed, increasing her leadership, respect, and overall courage.
Welty Lohr: My kiddos are 6 & 7 years old.My daughter is 6, and is doing extremely well. She has developed nicely in work ethic and discipline in a very short amount of time.My son is 7 and on the spectrum. His core was weaker than most kids, and he needed additional discipline, structure, and physical awareness. The patience, professionalism, and kindness that the staff has shown has been amazing. His progress has been amazing.Mr. Brown is our usual instructor, and he does an amazing job of keeping control, and and keeping the class flowing. He is constantly giving the class life applications for what he is teaching, and we appreciate that.Miss Williams was a guest instructor a few weeks ago, and she taught a lot of stuff in class that transfers to life. I truly appreciate that. Sportsmanship, manners, and things of that nature are very important to me and my family. It was great to see it reinforced in that environment, and in that manner.I truly appreciate these folks and their approach to training, and recommend them to anyone in any situation!
Dominiic Taylor: I attended the women’s self defense class and it did not disappoint!! Not only was the class amazing, the people and the conversation was amazing. I had so much more fun than I thought. Master brown made the topic of self defense fun but also serious.
Ceera Sadler: I 100% highly recommend them! My husband and son both attend classes here and they love it. Everyone is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I also attended a women’s self defense class tonight that went fantastic! ☺️
Pav. E.: Good people, always learning something. Ever visit whether it was to be part of the class or to visit the owners; it’s great. They teach you to smile, confidence yet not cocky, cardio, flexibility, and to have fun.
Shiklah Wilson (QueenShiklah): I went to a very good women's self-defense seminar. There was a lot of helpful and practical information.
Jeremy Simmons: Our boys joined ATA last year toward the end of the COVID pandemic, and we are so happy we got them involved with this facility. In fact, we wish we had signed them up sooner! We can’t say enough good things about the Brown family… positivity, respect, confidence, and hard work are at the heart of what they teach. Our children thrived under their instruction and became active, fit, and healthy. The facility is clean and well maintained. There is also a program for all ages and skill levels. We have full confidence in the Brown family and highly recommend this facility to anyone who may be interested in martial arts.
Keith johnson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism
Kasey Martin: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Ryan Walters: Probably one of the best development programs for both young kids and adults. Your kids will learn many important life skills: improved communication, discipline, self-confidense, and good work ethic. The Brown family combined (both Sr. Masters and future Master Brown) bring over 70 years worth of experience, and know the best ways to teach all types personalities. Whether you’re a die hard martial arts enthusiast, or just looking for a good after school program (or anything in between) ATA is the place to be!
Rebecca Pratt: First day n I really enjoyed myself.
September Shobe: It's amazing best place I've ever been to !
Phyllis Guinn: My granddaughter loves taekwondo. She is in 3 classes per week. The Browns are great instructors who love their kids and adults. They teach discipline as well as life skills during class.
Alena Jeffrey: Simply the best martial arts place in the area!
Daniel Cooke: We love ATA and the blessing they have been to our family. Great training, instruction, and life lessons. We used to go to training on post that was cheaper but the quality was lacking. ATA is well worth the value.
Jolisa Williams: All 3 of my girls do Taekwondo here and I do Krav Maga , we absolutely love it here everyone is so friendly and welcoming . Since we started here we have learned so much and i am grateful that the Browns are sharing their passion with us .
Tania Sánchez: It's incredible how a good instructor and a good class experience can change your mindset. I had such a great time during my self defense class with Master Brown.. I'd love to learn more.

Team ROC: what do users think?
Jacob Frison: First time training BJJ. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and patient. The environment produced by staff and students makes it easy to start and get involved
Adam Festa: Without a doubt the best gym in Fayetteville. The instructors are some of the best competitors in the sport. We don’t bake cupcakes.
Madison Beard: I had so much fun training here and learned a lot. As a female it’s sometimes hard to find places where you feel accepted, Team Roc makes everyone feel welcome :) Train here to up your game!
Chris Med: Walk in to ask in regards of the kids class for my 10yo. The lady on the desk was super rude to the point I felt like she wasn’t welcome there. They definitely have to work on their costumers service
Jose Centeno: My 5 year old son came here for the Jiu-Jitsu classes for almost a year. The staff is super friendly and good with integrating new kids to on going classes, coach Alicia is caring and understanding with kids. I am specially impressed by how good of an instructor coach Isaiah Monroe is to kids, the patience he has and the ability to explain things to little kids is amazing. The rest of the coaches are really good with kids just don't have time to mention them all. Thanks for everything!
john thang: I went to this gym for two weeks. Both weeks were amazing. The gi and no gi sessions were all very knowledgable. They’re very diverse in the moves they teach both in gi and without. The fundamental and advanced classes are full of great instructors who are seasoned and very well versed if you plan on learning for competition or just self defense and fitness. I myself carried some of the moves I learned here with me to other gyms and have used them. The muay thai is great. We learned different kicks, sparred, and I always end up leaving better then I was the day before and completely drenched in sweat. I will come back for more soon.
Patrick Bird: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat school for self defense, competition, or just to get in a great workout, they offer MMA & Jiu Jitsu Gi/No Gi. I’ve trained in 3 countries and 3 states and Team Roc is definitely up there in my opinion as Elite, whether you’re a ranked fighter or a day one martial artist or anywhere in between. Jah bless and Aloha 🤙🏼
John Stull: Critical:Professionalism
Augusto Juarez: I trained here when I was stationed in Bragg. Living in the barracks it was a very convenient location—a 15-minute drive, and it’s right outside the gate. It’s next to an Asian grocery too, so that’s where I’d usually get food after on weekends.I walked in and I immediately felt welcomed. Being that a lot of the students and instructors were/are in Bragg, there were no contracts involved, and signups were easy. No gi requirements unless attending a seminar. The gym has a pretty good culture going. A lot of experienced guys helping out the new guys. Being a little guy, I had a great experience training here, both in Jiu-jitsu and MMA. I was never put against some [theoretical] meathead with a chip on his shoulder who would try to take my head off; pretty much all of my training was controlled, even when I got smashed.Community is great too. I think this is the place where I met pretty much almost all of the friends I made in my entire stay at Bragg.
Timothy Hollingsworth: I showed up unannounced while already going through a fight camp in my hometown. I explained to all the coaches what my situation was and how long I would be attending. They accepted me with open arms and made me feel like I was part of their team.
Patrick McPhail: Awesome place to train. I started off completely new to it all, after maybe 3 weeks I had a basic understanding of guards and mounts, and fell in love.

Rose Lockamy: They are kind caring and awesome all around
Michaela Cunningham: My son is excited to attend Ryu's Taekwondo everyday. The excitement on his face brings joy to my heart.

Sanghar Esmaiel: Master RYU is very knowledgeable. The children gives him a lot of respect. Awesome experience.
Susan Pitts: We've been with Ryu's Taekwondo since 2018, and it's hands down one the best places to train. The instructors are great with the kids. We love the family atmosphere. I can't imagine being anywhere else.
Nicole Alexander: Seriously the best! We spent a year or so searching for a great taekwondo and we are slo glad we landed with Master Ryu. He really pushes but yet encourages the kids. As they keep testing up in belts, even though the schedule changes he has been really flexible and working with us to make sure we can still fit in classes with all of our other activities.
Michelle: We have tried 5 karate places in Fayetteville. 5!!!! Schools where teachers close for 5 weeks, teachers have hit kids, teachers only have kids teach kids, schools that demand $$$$ upfront. We were desperate to find a karate school like our last one in Nevada.A few of my athletes recommended this gym. MY SON CANT GET ENOUGH!!! This is really a family environment. Positive and nurturing. My son wakes up at 6 a.m. begging to go to their day camp. When I pick him up...he begs to stay later. You can't beat the price. Classes are controlled, encouraging, and fun. The staff....just amazing. Each of them love on the children encouraging and patient. This IS the Taekwondo school of Fayetteville. Period.
Mark Tanefski: Phenomenal Mixed Martial Arts School. Master Ryu and his staff are more than exceptional. The knowledge base and standards by the staff really is what sets them apart from all places in the surrounding area. You couldn’t ask for a better team. They care and treat all students with the upmost respect. They genuinely care about the students and are very interactive with the guest that come and support.
