Elijah Acklin: In 2015, I sent Terry Johnson 2k to have major services done on my vehicle to be shipped because I received orders to Germany from Saudi Arabia. He took my POV to Nissan, but didn’t pay them. I had to fly from Saudi then pay Nissan 2k to get my car. He claimed that his mechanic took off with the money. I had a friend try to take him to court, but no attorney would touch the case. He wouldn’t respond to emails or calls. I wish I could give 0 stars.
Steve Wendt: I rated this store at 1 because negatives are not possible. Our reservation was transferred to them from another store and the other store also called to make sure they would be open for us to pick it up. Afterwards, we called to tell them we were on our way and that is when we knew this wasn't going to be easy. First of all, the man on the phone was very rude in his tone and I didn't even hear his name or I would add that. Next we told him that we were on our way and would be there 5-10 minutes before 6 and all he said was "We close promptly at 6 so you have to be here before that." I replied with a thank you and he replied with hanging up the phone. We arrived at the location 5 minutes before 6 and the employees were in their vehicles looking at us, then continued to drive away. So we were then sent across town to Sanford who are willing to wait for us to get there. Don't even bother trying to get a truck here because they might close earlier and you will be out of luck.
Pink Vixxen: Please don’t use this place. Terry is a horrible business man. He moved locations and never notified me. He will charge your debit card and you won’t get a receipt. And if your card was declined because of funds he won’t tell you. You’ll notice the following month extra money out your account. And he swears he sent emails to you but in reality he never did. When I wanted my car shipped it took him almost 3 months to respond to me after I’ve sent texts, emails, made tons of phone calls asking when will the guy ship my car. He finally sent a text saying the guy shipping my car won’t be in town for ANOTHER 3 weeks. Keep in mind that I met Terry in person while on leave asking about the process to shipping my car. It’s not cross country worthy going to WA. He said he will send my the guys name and information and never did until 3 months later. I had to call another Shipping company to get my car from him but he never picked up the phone for them. I had a close friend take my car from him so the shipping company can get my car.
Scott Seiler: I left my vehicle because I was getting ready to deploy. I prepaid for the whole 9 months I would be gone. I found out i wasn't deploying for a few months later then I was and I had my car in the storage. I requested to get my car back and it took them two weeks to get it back. I was told I was going to get refunded the rest of the money and it took the person over a year to actually refund me the money. After I got back i had to keep going back because he had no interest in refunding the money. I will no longer go to this place for any kind of storage.
Paul Morgan: Do not trust. Left my vehicle there while assigned in Japan. Paid to have them turn on the car one once a month and monitor fluids. These things definitely were not done. Car was obviously untouched for a very long time, battery dead, fluids stagnant, and tires damaged from being dragged.They told me they would turn my NC plates into DMV to have it unregistered. They did not do this. They told me they would assist with shipping when I was ready. They did not offer a quote.While my car was stored there, they apparently did not pay the rent on the storage location. The owner of the land contacted me and let me know they were going to tow my car away. Nothing I could do while in Japan. Luckily though, my car was still there a few months later when I had it released.I took my car out of their storage 4 months ago and I'm still getting charged for it. I have attempted to call and email, but they do not respond to either. Only way to contact is in person or on the off chance they answer the phone.On the plus side, my automatic payments stopped for a few months and they did not have my vehicle towed away. They still released my vehicle when I asked for it and after paying to catch up. The car was also relatively clean, indicating that it was indeed stored indoors.They spoke a good game about helping out soldiers, but this is exactly the kind of predatory place 1SG told you to avoid.

She was super kind and it was very nice to be able to speak with her :) I highly appreciate her reaching out to me and resolving the situation. I still think the website could be much more user friendly but that is a corporate issue. Only lost a star bc of the bugs in my last unit that I had :/

valarie vinet: Not being sure of what I needed, the attendant was very helpful, and patient. She gave me suggestions, as well as taking me to see the areas so that I could feel comfortable. Along with that she made sure I had locks, and that I was insured. When I left I had peace of mind that everything was good.
Eddie: Raised my monthly rate twice and I’ve only had the unit for 3-4 months. Ridiculous.
Todd: Expect bad rate hike after first agreement + lots of employee turnover. That was my typical experience with this facility while deployed, at a time I couldn’t do much about it. Ashamed as NC is generally very cool about supporting those that serve, but I initially paid ~$40 a month for storage, now paying $93. Couldn’t move it while I was away and no option to lock in cheaper annual or other rate. Horrible industry granted, but this company feeds on service members and is too quick with late payment fees (sometimes before the actual due date) and their website doesn’t make payments easy. Take 10% off while I significantly overcharge you? No thanks. Hope my stuff is still there… and after paying so much for it. I’ll get it out of this facility as soon as I return to US. I cannot recommend this storage facility.

Dijane Lynch: The personnel at Bragg Blvd. Climate Controlled Storage are pleasant, helpful, honest, and fair. The grounds are clean and accessible. There are options for outdoor compartments without air conditioning and indoor ones with air conditioning. The owners are enthusiastic and communicative. They even send e-mails out, when necessary, about closings due to inclement weather, in plenty of time to help customers avoid making a trip to the storage location only to find it locked up. They do this to prevent accidents or mishaps. This shows unexpected consideration for the people using this facility, and it demonstrates that the owners are conscientious about safety. Also, at Bragg Blvd. C.C. Storage, all kinds of packing supplies are available for purchase at cost. We have rented from B.B.C.C.Storage for almost eight months and are completely satisfied.

Annie Riley-Bussey: Terrible experience here. They get you with a promotional rate and then double it without warning. They add on a crazy amount for insurance and little does the tenant know if you have home owners insurance you can use that for insurance. Do not let them take advantage of you. People are very greedy and like to get over on you especially if you are new at renting units. Would NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!The only good thing is the customer service from James and that’s it!

The grounds are maintained and you can tell they take pride in keeping this orderly. Our unit was clean upon arrival! They also allow you to utilize their moving trucks when moving in which helped us tremendously. We can’t thank Cliffdale Safe Storage enough. Their rates were far better than most of town!

George Bowyer: Did a online auction on 20 march 2023. won a storage locker. After winning locker i was informed facility will be closed today. really, you have a auction and close on day auction ends. I called the main office and they said sorry they will be open tomorrow. They have multiple locations in fayetteville and only one with a auction ending today. Wouldnt it be smart to close one that does not have a auction and be open and available to get your money from the auction. And let auction bidders get you locker cleaned out so you can re rent it. I have a business and would never do anything this stupid. Worse issue is you are not allowed to talk to the area manager, all calls are third party, you have to talk to main office ourside of north carolina. I would have given 0 stars but you cant. Will never do business with a compay like this, no accountability for thier actions.
