L. Yvonne Murray: My 2nd experience (2020) was with Dr. Marsha Nelson again was another exploratory laparoscopy surgery. Again she saved my life. My 3rd experience was with Dr. Nelson and Dr. Nordberg. I had two surgeries: repair of an incisional hernia and a pannulectmy. Or what I call my "apron".. Even though I am on day 3 post op, I am favorably impress with all the staff, I have been encounted.My 1st experience (2018) with Village Surgical Associates was an exploratory laparoscopy by Dr. James Classen, who saved my life! (During the surgery, I had an "A Fib" event. Until then, I did not have any cardiac issues.)My 2nd surgery (2020) was another exploratory laparoscopy, this time by Dr. Marsha Nelson. Her phenomenal skills left me ready to heal more easily than red.expected.I am facing more surgeries in less than 2 weeks. Both Dr. Nelson and Dr. Leif Nordburg will be helping me with repairing two issues that currently hinder my efforts to improve and increase physical activity. I trust bothalsurgeons. For the first time in 66 years, I am looking forward to these surgeries because they are the next step in my path toward improved health in the active life style I've dreamed of for decades.

Knella SP: I usually do not take time to rate doctors but I am so impressed with Elizabeth Sawyer and Dr. Leif Nordberg.I had a double mastectomy done with Dr. Sawyer and she has done such an amazing job . I can’t hardly see scars on my breasts!!! She is one of the greatest surgeons I have encounter with. She is absolutely amazing because she went above and beyond my expectations.She is very knowledgeable and attentive to answers any questions and concerns I had.Another top of the line surgeon is Dr. Leif Nordberg. He has been working on my breasts reconstruction and I couldn’t be happier with his amazing job. His compassionate care is what makes him the greatest.I will highly recommend these two surgeons who are in my opinion “the best there is”

Angela Davidson: I am really upset that I was referred for a biopsy and had it over a week ago and was told my results would be sent here but no one has contacted me! I called 4 times this morning before I was able to speak to someone... I was told a nurse would return my call.. no one ever did!! This is unacceptable! I am really disappointed in the service I have received! I an still waiting for results from biopsy!!

Carmen Mercer: My doctor referred me to this place to have a cyst removed from the back of my head Dr. Sara Chaffee has no bedside manner at all on top of that when she went to cut the back of my head she didn't make sure I was numbed completely I was in such much pain after I left this place and then on my follow up appointment she was very rude and didn't care that I was still in pain I wouldn't recommend a dog going to this place

Tonya Boo: Dr. Nelson was my surgeon and preformed a minor surgery on me. She knows her stuff and is very easy to talk to, explained everything and answered my questions and also addressed all of my concerns especially right before surgery!I can definitely recommend her as a general surgeon!

Yvonne Murray: Dris a great surgeon and I feel her skills have saved my life. And she genuinely cares about her patients. She and her staff have gone the second mile to actually protect me from a very hostile Unit Doctor, who made no secret she wanted me gone from her Unit. This doctor tried to discharge me, even though I was obviously sick and was under the care of a Surgeon (Dr. Nelson).I was and remain grateful to Dr. Nelson and her team (especially Dr. Song).

Shandril Moore: Dr. Nelson was extremely resourceful and answered every question I had in a way I could understand completely of what she was talking about, and she will make you feel calm before the surgery by explaining what will happen .

Gregory Baker: I had an open hernia repair. Everyone there was friendly and helpful in my procedure. Especially Dr. Sarah Chaffee. She is truly a class act in every way. Professional and informative. She knew i was nervous and made me feel at ease in every step of the way. She was truly concerned and did the surgery with minimal pain or discomfort. A true professional. Stevie Nix: Waited for an hour and a half PAST my appointment time. Came in with paperwork already filled out. Dr Sara Chaffee comes off as extremely rude and uncompassionate as well as ignorant to the human connection. I am surprised with her lack of preparation when it comes to her appointments. She didn't appear to have read anything as to why I was there and told me (a person in many years of recovery) to "go to a pain clinic" when it's stated on my paperwork and to the nurse that I am in recovery and wish to be listed as "allergic" to pain meds.In my opinion, her terrible bed side manner was enough for me to suggest to anyone referred here to go some place Better qualified. I am. I wish her the best in life. Or at least wht she puts out.Nursing staff were wonderful. I feel ashamed for them.

Christina Danyelle: Amazing people from the time you walk into the door to the time you walk back out the door!! Dr. Chaffee was very personal and informative, felt relaxed and a sense of relief after seeing her!!! Every doc I've visited wanted me to have my gallbladder removed but she had concerns of other issues so shes sending me to get that checked out 1st! Im only 26 and never had any surgery or anything i needed to even really be seen by a doc so i was extremely nervous and she made the situation much more comfortable for me!

Kim Hicks: Worst doctor. Really hatefully more concerned about my medication than the pain I was in. Felt after I lefted like a all my doctor's we're just mess ups. Took my doctor and gastorino nurse advise went to Hoke county hospital. Found that I have kidney stones. So instead of being in pain without knowing what was causing it for 3 weeks. Know I do and family and I feel relieved. Never go there. Could have cried when I got into car. Worst doctor patient relationship I have ever had.

Marissa Collier: The worse experience off my lifetime my husband went here to see MR.classen first doctor who has ever examined my husband in hes private’s with no glove on then to top it off would ask questions but not let you get a word I’n edge wise then before the appt tell us to bring the film of he’s ultrasound and ct scan but we were the one who had to tell him to look at it he was very rude and had horrible bed side manners I would not recommend him to no one you would think he would be more considerate seeing how this is a tough time my husband is going through then when my husband mentioned pain he has been having immediately said I can’t give you narctoics like he was some junky it was awful like the other person said on here I wouldn’t take my dog here

Sheliah Adcox: Dr. Carter is the most caring and knowledgeable physician I have ever attended. My mother was released from her surgeon back in the early 80's with a Diabetic ulcer on her lower leg that would have constituted an amputation left untreated. Dr. Carter took such care of her and when she died from other complications, at least she died with her leg healed and the dignity of having it still attached to her body. Dr. Carter has taken care of my whole family in some way or another over the years. He has never once acted out of context.The allegatioins against Dr. Carter for sexual battery were tried in court and Dr. Carter was found NOT GUILTY. This is what everyone fails to see is that he was found not guilty. However, Dr. Carter's patients that have been his patients for any length of time, know that he would never do such an outlandish thing as he was charged with. I believe this patient was on a mission when she presented herself to Dr. Carter's office. I'm not sure if it was for money or for the attention it has created. However, I find it hard to believe that anyone would dare think such a thing of Dr. Carter.My prayer is for God to forgive this patient that has wrongly accused Dr. Carter and to give her peace. And my daily prayer is for God to shield and protect Dr. Carter and hedge him about with a tall hedge of protection from the enemies of this world.I love Dr. Carter with a fatherly love and he is an amazing physician. He treats all of his patients as if they were his family without regard to race or nationality. Every older woman is his mother; older man- his father; younger female- his sister and younger male- his brother. This is how he built his practice here in Fayetteville. Dr. Carter does not deserve this type of scrutiny. But as always, God has His hand on him and his practice.

Tijuana McNeill: Dr. Carter has been treating me for several years. At every appointment, he takes his time to answer all my questions no matter if the office is running on time or behind. He is knowledgeable in many areas and always knows where to direct me, even if my concerns are not his expertise. God works through Dr. Carter and he is my first choice when seeking medical advice.

Meka Maggs: This man has since been charged with Sexual Battery by the District Attorney's office. He forced his hand down my shirt and started squeezing my breasts. I did not give him any type of permission to touch me as I was not even there for anything to do with my breasts, I was fully clothed and he gave no warning of what he was about to do. He later tried to claim that he did a breast exam when I challenged him on what he just did.He has also instructed his staff to lie for him, as the receptionist explained to me that Dr. Carter gives EVERY female patient a " breast exam ", regardless of what they are there for.

Hazeleyes Thomas: My mother has been going to Dr. Carter for two years and will continue to go to him. She would not be here if it wasn't for him. He goes above and beyond. Works late and weekends when others don't. He is a great doctor and explains and let's you know everything that's going on with you. God has put Dr. Carter here to serve His people and that's what he does. He loves all his patients and our family loves him!! You keep on keeping on Dr. Carter, God's got it all in control.

Sherman Sutton: I found Dr Ravinder K Annamaneni, MD, FACS, FRCS. and his staff (Fern Creek General Surgery) very professional and helpful to both myself and my wife during an exceedingly difficult procedure (Stage 4 Stomach Cancer). During all phases of the surgery Pre, during and Post he took the time to explain the procedure in terms that both my wife and I could clearly understand and answered all our questions satisfactory. Dr Annamaneni also is part of the Cape Fear Valley Hospital System which uses MyChart program/application which I found extremely helpful in reading his surgery/visit notes (these notes were always promptly posted within 4 – 6 hours after the procedure). Would highly recommend him to anyone requiring surgery.
