Candi De la Rose: Westover Recreation Centers offers a day camp for children in the summer. I was surprised when I was informed my cousin who has a learning disability would not be admitted into the summer camp program. The camp program has slots available, my aunt completed the appropriate forms and went to the office yesterday only to be given the run-a-round. She was told her son could not attend the summer camp because of his learning disability. Wow. After two contradicting conversations with the faculty and supervisor at Westover Recreation my aunt decided to contact another summer camp program. The other facility admitted my nephew learning disability in all without batting an eye. I do not know if staff at Westover Recreation is oblivious of what good customer service is or of they do not care. The staff should be required to take sensitivity and hospitality training courses as soon as possible. The apathetic attitude of the staff will deter people from associating with this place. Beware.

Andrea C: I was excited about the new dog park but please be careful. They did not install the fence correctly, there is a gap at the bottom of the fence and since it is flexible a dog merely has to push with its nose and make a space big enough for a medium sized dog to slide right through. I was only there a few minutes as my dogs were investigating the possibility to get out and we drove back to riverside dog park. Also, they installed cute dog water fountains but the owner has to be there pushing the button in order for the dog to get water.I am hoping they can fix the fence and place some buckets so dogs can drink whenever they need.

Danielle: We go there for my son's flag football. My daughter loves the playground. One major issue is there are two port-a-potties but they are not maintained. They are filthy and there's never any toilet paper.

2nd Division: It's a fun little park with plenty of grassy space a play scape and sports fields. It has a bit of everything. It is in good shape and is near a school and a pool.

Ginger Blossom: As i was in my car with the seat back, I heard alot of chaos outside. People cursing and using foul language. As i sit up I hear a man using obscene language and blaming grown adults for not intervening with the situation. I was shocked to hear a grown man talking like that in front of children. Using the f word and other obscenities! I found out that he was the director! As a consumer I felt very unsafe and disrespected, and I will make sure that I am always caucious when entering this facility. It was very kind of the female staff member to apologize on behalf of the situation, but I have never experienced anything like this at an establishment, especially where it is supposed to be a safe place for children.

Daniel Moore: Dirty! Score board lights that did not work. Score keeper unfair to visiting team and did not run the game clock correctly. Inappropriate music was played before the game and at half time. All officials should be evaluated by honest supervisory personnel so that so-called referees can be stopped from cheating children out of fairness of the sport that they are learning(playing). Shameful cheating occurred at this facility on 3-12-2019 at the 630pm game; these officials of the game were not honest and displayed verbal and physical affection to one team; while down talking to the children on the other team. Too bad an investigation can't be launched, this was simply a case of cheating children. PERIOD!

IB Dronin: Mazarick is one of my favorite parks in Fayetteville . It has nice trails,scenery,and a lake for fishing with alot of cypress trees
Richard Abernathy: A GREAT little spot to enjoy nature, take a hike and picnic, if you wish. There is a ton of stuff to do here in a relatively small area. VERY BEAUTIFUL AND QUIET!

Wesley Forman: A little sketchy there are some I would say homeless groups of people using facilities fishing docks and the grills not to say they are dangerous but don't take your kids here if you want to feel safe. There are unknowns roaming about and although it is a public area I'm sure you can disappear in these woods. Went to look at the lake and smell of completely like weed so yeah I would skip this place.
