Gio: I grew up in Tijuana and San Diego, so I heard this place was “authentic” mexican food, so I decided to give it a try and I regret it… The food was awful, I got a Quesadilla de asada, the tortilla tasted like a walmart tortilla, carne was bland and flavorless, and the toppings omg, lettuce, sour cream and queso fresco, not recommended, if you want good mexican food go to Don Ramon’s instead.
Nique: The food was really good, however the service was just okay and not necessarily someplace you *want* to sit & eat - not the MOST inviting restaurant I've ever been in.I would *not* recommend this place for vegan/vegetarians. Although I did see 1 vegetarian option in a few of the sections, I was hesitant to try them and ended up going with the breakfast burrito (I do eat eggs) - which was good.
Devin Rodriguez: Placed an order for a steak quesadilla and a steak burrito. Recieved two steak quesadillas, when I asked for a correction I was told no and that if I wanted a burrito I would have to be charged for it...again...The flavor of the steak was decent, the quesadillas as a whole though sucked. Pretty much just steak inside a tortilla. Little to no cheese or other seasonings. Had the issue been fixed from the gitgo this would have been a 5 star review...

She then accused me of stealing the plate from the restaurant. If she would’ve looked, she would’ve seen the plate in the counter where she left it. Then it took a while to get our fresh guacamole (a different waitress made it for us). The burrito was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. Normally, they let us substitute the side of rice for a side of beans, but said "because there's beans inside (the burrito)" they couldn't substitute the beans for rice.I want to keep coming back, but service must improve.

Guy Forsberg: Worst experience ever on a Monday evening, we been coming to this location since grand opening. 2 servers and 4 tables. We was a group of 7 and our food came out in 15-20 minute intervals on every 2 plates and was ice cold except the last dish. Even the fajitas wasn’t hot on the skillet plate, ICE COLD. So took 50 minutes before we all finally got our food. Then plastic was in the food. Then this old lady came telling use, oh your food was hot because she touched our ready to eat food with her hands! Then when I confronted about her putting her hands inside the food, then she changed her story. As we are fellow owners & chef , this was horrible service i have ever experienced my entire live and we would never allow this horrible service in our restaurant.

Josh Maynor: I understand ppl get busy and I have been here multiple times eating at the bar and also.drinking but when I come in and the bars says drinks only but empty and the host says yea yall two can sit at the bar and eat because no one there and even goes out the way to allow that thank you but ur bar just missed out on a very good tip

Mary Markivich: The food and service were very good. The margaritas were mixed, which was a downer, and the chili relleno had only a chunk of pepper in a cheese and meat mix. Everything else was really good - tomatillo chicken burrito, pablano cream sauce salmon, fresh guacamole (excellent), and layer dip. Also, the house hot sauce wasn't very spicy but was tasty.
Sara Fauls: We were from out of town and had a large group. We called a dozen local places and no one wanted to accommodate us. Someone from our group called MI Casita and they didn't even hesitate and said Come on in! By the time we got there, the tables and chairs were already pushed together and waiting for us. Food was brought out quickly and the service was friendly. Food was pleasant and so was the atmosphere.
Rachael Bowes: The only Mi Casita's that we will go to. They are the absolute best, always.
