lourdes Guailacela: I’m glad we were by this area when our sweet tooth kicked in bc I LOVED their cupcake. I had the peanut butter cup, which was a chocolate with peanut butter frosting. I usually swipe off half of the frosting on a cupcake after the first bite bc i don’t like the usual overwhelming sweetness of frosting, but for the first time I ate ALL my cupcake without swiping off the frosting! The texture and taste from bottom up to the toppings was the best I’ve had ever. If you love chocolate and peanut butter the peanut butter cup flavor will not disappoint.My husband had the carrot cake and my kid had the birthday cake flavor. I took a small bite of each and texture was good but I personally prefer chocolate flavors. Overall my first experience here was great and hope the next time we stop by it’s just as delicious.

Tyler Marchan: This afternoon while I was out running errands I saw this cupcake shop near the metro diner and thought I would give it a try. I'm very picky when it comes to cake because I used to own a bakery myself. I was really impressed. From the customer service to the shop presentation, to the selection of flavors. The cupcakes are huge. The cake itself was moist, the wrapper came off easily, it was not greasy nor was it overly sugary. The frosting was very good and just the right amount. Presentation, flavor, spot on.

Life of Vee: I came by today. I noticed that I left my wallet rushing out the door to get my daughter to work. I went inside to see the selection of cupcakes that were still available, since I planned on returning. I was not acknowledged when I entered, but I waited patiently as I could see that someone was washing dishes. When we were helped, I immediately let them know that I needed to go and get my wallet. I feel like from that moment on, I was treated as if I was lying. I was asked how far I live, I made them aware of the area, and asked if we could have the cupcakes boxed for when I returned. I was told by the man it won't take more than five minutes (as if i wasn't coming back). They were for my son's birthday for goodness sake! So instead, when I got my wallet. I went to Frostings Cakeshop in Hope Mills. The woman that came up front was welcoming though. I wonder if I could have gotten cupcakes boxed up if I was a white woman that was returning instead 🤔

They had over 18 different cupcakes to choose from and also had ice cream .The first time - I picked up a dozen strawberry cheesecake cupcakes.The second time - I picked up a variety dozen including canoli, birthday cake, lemon drop, and several others.

Deon Covington: We used Sweet Boutique for out wedding back in October. The strawberry moscato is one of the best strawberry cakes that Ive tasted and still remains on of my favorites, unfortunately it is paired with some of the worst service that Ive had. When placing the order for the cake I explained that I wanted to incorporate the same live flowers from the wedding into the cake which was not a problem during the order process. A few days before I checked with my florist to confirm that the flowers would be there when the cake arrived. I checked back with Sweet Boutique and the associate told me that she didnt know about the flowers but she would check with the owner. I called back later to confirm and was told that it would not be a problem. I also called to confirm the time of arrival but they could not even give me an estimate, only that they would be there before the start of the wedding. When she arrived with the cake she was upset that I was not waiting on her and that she had to wait while I got someone to assist her. Also she refused to place the flowers on the cake, saying that the flowers were not prepared the way that she wanted them. Overall the cake tasted amazing, but the service was horrible.

I’m not sure if there are new owners/bakers or what but this year I ordered a baby shower cake for my son that cost over $200 but looked like something I could have gotten off the shelf at Walmart. I had to YouTube how to work with Fondant. I then went to Hobby Lobby and spent another $30 to make the cake look like it was worth at least $100. I’m beyond disappointed and haven’t even cut the cake. I probably won’t be going back.

Billie McNeill: We ordered a Cookie N Cream (Oreo) Cheesecake for my daughter for her birthday. She loved it & it takes ALOT to please her food wise! (picky teenager). We enjoyed it as well. We’ve also ordered Red Velvet Cheesecake Cakes in the past LOVED THEM!! & have been in the boutique numerous times and purchased different cupcakes and cakes in which we’ve all enjoyed!!

Michele Hood: Called me the day before to ask if they could add fondant to the cake due to the design I didnt want fondant but agreed to it. Went Friday evening to pick up my cake for a Saturday wedding. I was so upset the cake looked nothing like we talked about I asked for teal lilly's they said they made a change because it looked tacky you called me about the fondant but couldn't call about a huge change. I wanted lilly's due to it being the 1st flower my now husband ever gave me I was stuck with a cake I didnt like and all I could do was cry all the way home

Ashley S: I have been ordering a cake for the past 3 years for my birthday, this year was a bad experience. We have had an all whipped cake before, my husband ordered the same this year. They had put the sweet icing instead which we do not like, the chocolate cake was hard. My husband asked for it to be remade they argued that they could not do an all whipped cake which is not possible because the cakes before were all whipped. Once remade, the cake was all whipped but had some sweet icing mixed in and the cake was hard and dry like they just replaced the frosting. Something has changed maybe a new baker but we will not be returning. Very disappointing because the cakes were delicious.

She genuinely took the time to make sure I was happy and she gave my son his cake. He took me that the cake was delicious. I'm so pleased with the outcome. I arrived at the location in hope mills and the girl at the front said I had to text the phone number for the owner to place my order (which I thought was strange but ok) so I did after I left. Never got a response. I text again today … still did not get a response… so I call the number and I then get a automated response saying to “send a text” so I send a THIRD text and the person FINALLY responds and says to send her a picture of the cake design and how many people to feed and flavors of the cake. I do exactly what she states an she replies with…”we don’t do those flavors” .. so I send another text and ask her does she do chantilly ? And no response again. I send another text (at this point I am getting a little annoyed with the unprofessionalism) and she replies with …”I am at a graduation for my nephew”I CANNOT believe this lady response. I would NOT have had a problem with ANY of that had she been professional from the beginning and stated that she would get back with me …etc etc.. when she has time to take my order…I am the paying customer .. NO ONE cares what you got going on lady. ALL you had to do was respond when I sent the first text and let me know when YOU would be available to assist me with my cake ordering ..!!! I would give a ZERO if I could. NOT professional at all !!! Bad business.

I thought I would treat myself since tomorrow is Mother’s Day. What a treat it is!! Yummy is an understatement, the staff was patient and kind with me as I tried to make my decision. These cupcakes are so moist and delicious! If you are in the vicinity and want an amazing cupcake stop in. There is also a cute photo opportunity inside as well.
