Katz4Lif: This review is from the 15th of May 2023. When I went to visit Dollar General there was a new face working there. I don't know if she is a new employee or just covering some shifts from another store. That day I was wearing my small Nike backpack as my purse for the day. Not more than two minutes into my shopping trip the cashier came up to me and told me I had to leave my backpack at the front of the store. I told him it was my purse and I was not going to leave my wallet and other stuff up front. He stated that the female employee told him to come tell me. I decided to leave without my purchase I came in to buy . I'm 54 not a child that might steal something. In today's day and age alot of people carry mini backpacks to carry there stuff. I've seen many people go in and outta that store with even bigger full size backpacks and they weren't asked to leave theirs at the front of the store. I do not enjoy being singled out. I literally had to go back home and change to a purse to go back and make my purchases. I don't have a car so this really did make my day and night more frustrating than it needed to be.

Hoping management will clean up the store or hire someone who will. DG says they are proud to be community/neighborhood stores, but from the looks of this place, that’s a lie.

Coach Wallace: Love this neighborhood dollar general. I always get what I need wifi the employees are nice, and hospitable. Definitely gets 5 stars from me. It serves it's purpose well!
