Joy Douglass Slankard: When I bought my first home my mother suggested I buy furniture from homemakers because of there quality craftsmanship furniture it's beautiful and well made I did, and was not disappointed if you want timeless pieces this is your place it's worth every penny.
I-95 Muscle: This is the only place in Fayetteville that offers true custom furniture. All of the other stores just sell variants of Ashley's furniture, but the actual Ashley's store has some "Ashley's exclusives". If you want nice, high quality, unique furniture... Go to Homemakers
Jim Martin: Nice selections, quality pieces, a little pricey but the price of furniture is out ragious. Overall a quality place.

The style tends to be more traditional with kids furniture best found elsewhere. Variety for the whole home including living room, dining room, office, and outdoors.

My husband being gone I was indecisive but not once was I informed of a restock fee Hay delivery guys you only too the rails out and back seriously. I hope no one treats your family like I was treated that day! Long story short I asked to exchange for a Queen with all interest of purchasing more items but the Qwner is a sad man with no heart ❤️ and no businesses skills An exchange and 3000 worth of more items I guess indecision is a disease no one wants to deal with!!!!let me add there is a 25%restock fee I was happy to pay and was not afforded!

LaToya DelaCruz: This is not your typical furniture store. The furniture is nice but their customer service needs work. The guy that helped us was really helpful when it came to getting us a line of credit, but once he got that approved, the great customer service ended. Their only focus is getting as much money out of you as they can. I’m in the customer service industry and I get that the goal is to make money, but the goal is also to retain customers and give them a good experience so they come back. This is definitely not the case with this store. We bought a small sectional and a dining set. My first issue was that the price displayed on the dining set wasn’t the real price. There was a bench that was made to look like it was part of the set (the main reason I picked the table I picked since we have a family of 6). The price displayed appeared to include the bench, as there was no price tag on the bench itself. There was an upcharge of $150 for the bench. I went with it because it was still an ok price for what I was buying. When we were checking out, he said we could get delivery the next day (we went in at 6pm so we were already assuming we weren’t going to get same day delivery so no big deal). We checked out and he said the furniture would be delivered the next day. We asked him what time it would be delivered, thinking they would give us a 2-4hr time frame like regular appliance/furniture stores. Without even looking up from his computer, he nonchalantly said “after 2 o’clock, and you have to give them $60 cash”. It’s now the next day and we called to see if they could give us an estimate as to what time frame the furniture would come, not asking for a specific time, just is it going to be between 2 and 4, 4 and 6, since we have errands to run for our children. The guy who answered the phone said the truck doesn’t leave until “after 2pm” and the people that deliver work independently from the people who work inside the store so he has no idea when the furniture would get delivered and seemed annoyed that we even asked. They also didn’t tell us that we would either have to assemble the furniture ourselves or pay $50. I’m ok with the fees but I like to receive all the information at once before making decisions that cost me $2000. Luckily for them, the delivery team is what earned them 3 stars. It’s was a husband and wife team that pulled up in a Dodge Ram pulling a trailer. If I could have dealt with them the entire time, from the minute I walked in the store till the time my furniture was delivered, without question they would have received 5 stars. They were very polite. They got the furniture moved in quickly and place it where we wanted it. I wouldn’t mind having them deliver furniture to me again but I think I’ll be going elsewhere to purchase my children’s new beds next month.
Stephen Hirt: A few weeks ago I bought a couch to be delivered the next day. When it arrived it became obvious that I would not fit upstairs where it needed to go. After talking to the manager the store took it back and I went down to pick out something that would fit. It was delivered that same day. Pretty much anywhere won't take back furniture but it was nice they made an exception for my situation as it was not anyone's fault. Only charged me one delivery fee as well. Highly recommend.

Customer service in FAYETVILLE IS SUPERB, Rob took excellent care of me via the phone, AMAZING customer service!!! Thanks Rob and everyone at the FAYETTEVILLE LOCATION this store is the BEST. Perhaps the Fayetteville team should come train the Garner & Wake Forest employees CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.

D Drum: Bought my Flexsteel couch and chair from them some years back. Best furniture buying experience I have ever had. They were helpful without hovering. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. My couch suddenly stopped working and they were so helpful. Even willing to see if they could find a part to replace whatever might not be working. Turns out that one of the plugs had come unplugged, so I was able to fix it myself. I will definitely buy furniture from them in the future.

Faatima Saxton: What started out as a 5 star experience with Mrs. Susie Williams dropped to a 1 star experience with Gaynelle(however her name is spelled) with her horrible attitude. I am a repeat customer who drove all the way from Raleigh to purchase again. I first bought a bedroom set, sofa sleeper, custom ottoman, and custom living room set about 7 years ago. I came to purchase more furniture after a broken toilet seal flooded the entire 1st level. After purchasing a new bedroom set and a living room table, which was delivered with no problems, I began the process to reorder new custom cushions to match the living set originally purchased 7 years ago. From that first purchase I remember Gaynelle's condescending attitude towards me but I let it go. The new cushions were about $500 and I paid in full, upfront, before the order was even placed. After speaking with my claims adjuster I decided to cancel the order for the custom cushions. I called (6/9/22 at 12:29pm and she called back at 12:41pm) and spoke with Gaynelle and this is when everything went downhill fast. The level of attitude and disrespect was as if cancelling the order was afflicting her great distress or that I was taking money from the business. I paid for the cushions upfront in full so I was confused on what she was implying. My issue is not even having to keep the custom cushions. It's the audacity of being talked to with such rudeness. My fiancé and I had referred several people because of the quality of furniture and how lovely Mrs. Susie was. But Gaynelle's ELITE level of unprofessionalism unfortunately ruined the experience. I will go pick up my cushions and will NOT purchase anything else from there again. I will also tell my referrals not to purchase there to avoid any potential contact with Gaynelle's sour and ornery character.
Sam Sam: LC was awesome and totally went above and beyond! He found us the perfect couch set for a great price. After days of shopping at all the big furniture stores locally we were in and out of the store in under an hr and our couches were delivered that afternoon from their warehouse. Same day delivery and it wasn’t a floor model. They have homestretch and flex steel too, two brands that are impossible to find locally. We will be back for our future furniture needs.

It's like they threw every piece of furniture they could possibly sell into one room, and you kind of just have to climb your way through it. She listened to me clearly and showed me pieces that were my style...I LOVE THAT! They have furniture with 8-way hand tied coil spring systems and Sinuous Spring Systems and Jute Webbing. Mrs. Susie and I walked the showroom floor for well over two hours and she stayed joyful, upbeat, helpful, professional and caring about my needs. I dress like a bum 90% of the time and have never been judged. Mrs. Jennetta has always been the most attentive, patient and understanding salesperson I have ever encountered. I'm not easy to please & I know what I want. I have never been pushed in to purchasing something that wasn't right for me. Some things I have, may not be from Haverty's, but they are ALWAYS my first stop. I know quality and Haverty's does not disappoint.
Nick Lucchesi: To start havertys furniture is definitely heavy hardwood quality...but that doesn't mean it's made well.Some pieces are so unprofessionally made that they're not straight, so they need to keep being replaced over and over. Unfortunately this also means that the house is damaged over and over. While havertys seemingly will replace pieces to make it right, they assure pieces will be inspected before being loaded to make sure they're not defective, but the inspection doesn't matter. The delivery people told me the item still has the same issue and a CS manager says there was an inspection and will be following up why there still was an issue.The latest delivery people did so much damage they handed me their installer touch up pen asking me to not tell anyone to try to make up for it, then immediately ran out of the house to avoid talking about the house damage. Now I'm having to deal with Liberty Mutual to deal with this because Havertys won't deal with it themselves, so they pass it off to insurance.I wish havertys had better delivery quality because their furniture seems to be good overall when it is correct. But with how much damage they cause it's unfortunately not worth it. They won't repair the damage, they also won't reimburse directly to repair. They ONLY will reimburse to your financing account, which means you have to repair out of pocket.Good luck

Jackie Jacobs: My brother purchased a chair yesterday from Lee Furniture. I specifically asked if they had a new one in the stockroom because I did not want the dirty one frim the floor. I was promised a new chair. The chair was placed in the vehicle but was not in an original carton. It was wrapped in plastic instead. After getting the chair home and unwrapping it, I realized that they had wrapped the dirty floor model and loaded it. Since they have a "no return, no refund" policy, I knew that I was stuck with the chair. I plan to have it professionally cleaned. I also bought a television stand the same day as the chair purchase and received the damaged floor model instead of a new one. I'll make do with these items but will shop elsewhere fro jvm now on.

A master king bed, night stand, dresser at Ashley. I mentioned one day going to Lee’s! I’m glad we did. Turned out every item we saw at Ashley and wanted to buy, Lee Furniture could get it, and saved us about 1300.00, and we also ended up with a full size bed frame that basically didn’t cost any extra money! We also paid cash,.. that saved us even more. Customer service was superb! We always recommend Lee if you’re looking for furniture, and plan on using themagain in the future!!

Donna Bridges: Bought a double recliner love seat on layaway. The one I wanted wasn’t on the floor, but they said they could order it. When it was delivered, not the same recliner. I had already got rid of my old one so I went in and took it. Big mistake. Only lasted about a year and a half. Now it’s worn out and I have to buy another one. Not happy at all.

There was a young man named Antonio working. They have so many different rugs and this employee went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. I wanted other items and discussed with the person who never got back with me on the item I wanted and I was not satisfied with the service! Over all nice furniture!

From the moment we walked in, we felt the difference between this store VS the other big box stores in the area. It was comfortable, welcoming, was clean, and the customer service started immediately and didn’t stop. Coming to a store with 4 kids can always be a challenge but Martin assured us they were fine, even welcomed their piano playing. We loved that we were able to look around as we pleased but if we had a question Martin was right there whenever we called him over. We had previously went to another store and felt so pressured, the salesperson gave us no space to shop. Martin knew exactly when to enter and exit the conversations. The knowledge of product Mayra and Martin held was unmatched. Do yourself a favor, don’t shop anywhere else. We loved everything we picked out and the delivery guys were incredible, punctual, very neat, quick and efficient. I couldn’t imagine doing business elsewhere. We are truly so pleased with how this went. Multiple store visits and they welcomed us warmly each time, worked out delivery around our vacation and really gave us peace of mind with our decision. Although COVID delayed my full shipment Martin, the manger & his team was very informative. He made sure we had the essentials which was the bed & the dresser. After a few months of waiting the entire set arrived. He even gave my husband & I a house warming gift for being patient. Their delivery team communicated & were clean & efficient.

J Spear: Day 3: Changing from 1 star to 3 stars. Store Manger called and said mistakes were made but they will still honor the original sale. The incident still happened so I cannot go back to the original 5 stars but the issue was resolve favorably.Day 2: My original score was 5 stars but I unfortunately have to change it now. I received a call from the sales rep stating that I would need to pay them an extra $1251 if I wanted the items I had already purchased the day prior. The document I signed states that all sales are final. I have told them that I expect to see my items delivered on the agreed date with no further charges. If they fix the issue and deliver the items I will bump my score back up and update this. I have also issued a complaint with the BBB.Original post: Very happy with this store, good deals good people.
DJ Wolf: So I am having my family over for Thanksgiving this year and I needed some furniture, sofa, loveseat, just somewhere for my fam to sit and be comfortable.Going to all the furniture stores over Fayetteville I searched for a sofa loveseat set that I would be happy with. Good construction, comfortable, good material, and something that will hold up after 5 - 10ish years.I found a set I liked, talked to a woman about the build, quality, and everything, she shot me an offer, I thought it over, the following day I bought the set for deal less than originally given.Was able to schedule a delivery date, later this week for the evening time. So far this company is on top of it all. Good customer service, good products, good service, and pretty good selection of furniture in their display area.Update- My new sofa and love seat have been delivered. The two individuals who delivered them were able to get the set up the stairs to a third story, the furniture is in the same condition as it was in the store.They called me in advance to set a time prior to showing, it was all delivered on time. The two individuals were able to get the furniture up to my place and placed it where I wanted.Overall I am very pleased with this company and how they conduct themselves. I will in the future look to shopping here again if I need another piece of furniture.
