I called Cape Fear Flooring to tell them about my immediate problem and they responded quickly I had Joe as a Project Manager who provided good service and answered any questions I had. Overall I say the completion of work they did was ok. Two rooms weren't completely painted it was If only one one coat was done so spots were left over. They also fixed the shingles on my roof quickly they just replaced them with an entirely different color so now roof is two different colors and absolutely DID NOT WANT THAT. 3/5 for service.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with, by far.The drying process was professionally done and I like the project manager, but the floor installers did a horrible job in the bathroom and left missing trim around a doorway. In one place, trim was poorly slapped together. I’m hoping the company will fix these problems.Update 11/322. The company did not fix the flo and laundry room subfloors were not leveled. The company claims my insurance wouldn’t approve a layer of material and that’s why the floors are uneven. They billed me for materials and services they never delivered. I have tried to get them to finish this job since last February. Instead they keep billing for the incomplete job and have sued me in small claims court. I doubt they will win because they can’t even produce an invoice to show I owe what they claim. So the lawsuit was continued so they can produce the invoice, and I’m still dealing with this company. I thought it would be over after the court date. But no. They found a way to mess that up too.This company is a menace.I would appreciate it if the owner would contact me. You can. You don’t have to post it here to make it look like you are going to do something. Just call me. Or drop the case so I don’t have to drive out to lillington again for your frivolous lawsuit. You know this is ridiculous.Update 12/12/22Don’t sign a contract. It doesn’t matter how many times the company stands you up by missing appointments they scheduled. It doesn’t matter how shoddy their work is. I signed a contract so I have to pay.I’ve never experienced this before. Usually integrity and competition drive businesses to complete their side of a contract. In my experience. At 51, I’ve never seen anything like this. I will never trust another company.Look at the above pics. Legally I have to pay, after giving them six months to fix it, after they made and didn’t keep ten appointments to fix it.DONT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY.

Julie Anne: I wouldn’t use them again. They ripped up the bottom of the bathroom door when they pushed the new vanity in. I don’t entirely blame them on the vanity being too tall because we chose it, but you would think they would have measurements and could’ve said it wasn’t going to fit before we purchased it. They repainted the walls which looked decent and was done quickly but they did not do the color they had been so now they don’t match the door and they painted the baseboards WHITE so now the colors are a huge mess. Who has lighter trim than the walls?? I think it would’ve helped if more people were fluent in English. After one failed attempt at talking to a worker we gave up on questions.

On Friday and Saturday we had a crew of 3 that worked diligently I did not get their names but they worked so hard to get the water out from underneath the house but the pump broke on the truck and on Tuesday when the came out again the crew, Christian, Will, Eli, Chris Mae and James, were very hard workers. They showed up at 9:00 and waited until 2:00 for the pump truck. By the time the pump truck got here they already had all the debris cleaned up. They were very professional and if I every need Cape Fear Flooring and Restoration I will ask for either crew again.

Not only was the job done efficiently and with care to detail, but the product itself is more resilient than the options available from other flooring companies. They kept me informed throughout the whole process and self corrected for anything that didn't go according to plan. Mr Allen truly walked us through the job from beginning to end. His teams that did the work were dedicated to getting the job done while still being respectful of our space. I would 100% recommend.

C&H Bolton: We've waited to the end of our repairs before posting this review, as there are many reviews on here posted too early in the process to give an accurate accounting. This process began for us in October 2020, so we've been dealing with this company for a year and a half. If we had known how terrible and stressful this experience with Cape Fear Flooring was going to be, we would have shopped around and found a more competent company to trust our home to. We dealt with water damage and repairs in another state years ago that went smoothly and was completed to our satisfaction within a few months. We share this in hopes of sparing others from making the same mistake in trusting Cape Fear Flooring that we did. We had damage from a water leak in our shower and bathroom that required pulling up all the flooring in the bathroom and all of the tile in the shower and replacing it. This is a BRIEF overview of the issues we've had:-Poor communication and follow up, we constantly had to call in and ask when things would be worked on. They would tell us they'd call by the next week, but after several weeks or a month of not hearing anything we would have to call them.-Unacceptable workmanship from the contracted workers they use, and we still to this day are dealing with problems that they've "fixed". For example, the new grout in the shower and on the floor is already cracking in multiple areas, even though we've already had someone come out to repair them. The tiler also installed several floor tiles upside down, and we had to point it out to him when he thought he was finished. Additionally, they cut all the tiles too short so there is a gap along the wall that the trim did not cover.From mismatching paint to terrible caulking jobs to gouging our tub, these few examples barely scratch the surface of the lack of attention to detail and poor quality work that caused problems we are now left to deal with. We have reached out to them, all the way up to the CEO, hoping they would do something to make this right, only to be ignored and disappointed by them again. Don't make the same mistake we did! Avoid this company at all costs, they do not care about their customers.

Nicki Kennington: My husband and I chose this company for an estimate during our research of having new vinyl flooring installed in our entire home. My husband visited the store, was given samples to bring home, and set an appointment for the in home estimate. This is what I’m not pleased with. The representative was more than 30 minutes late and we had not received any time of communication regarding this until my husband called to see why no one had shown. Upon arrival the rep was friendly and got right down to business. Where they fail is the lack of knowledge of flooring in general. They were unable to answer most of our questions so we had to google to find answers. They have a limited options for LVP flooring which was also a turn off. The measuring was much quicker than a previous company but two days later we still did not receive our quote; therefore we chose a different company to complete our project. I hope in the future, sales reps can provide more information about the products they sell and be prompt with providing clients with the potential costs for their needs.

Elizabeth lane: I had my carpeted stairs converted to oak. The original install went fine but when they came to stain whoever they sent to do the job did terrible leaving lots of bubbles and hairs and dust painted in to the point where the entire stain job had to be completely redone. To do this the stain had to be completely sanded off which took days and covered my house in dust that caused my kids to break out in rash and my mot to have respiratory issues. The second stain job was better but the paint/caulking around the stain was not taped off making all the lines uneven. They did not clean up the mess they left and used my personal supplies instead of bringing their own. One of the steps is still creaking and Iv asked to have that fixed and they have not responded. They are charging me $500 per stair which is unacceptable for the quality of work and the customer service that I have received from Angelina. I have asked for an itemized bill but she would not give it to me because I used a contracted. I reached out to Paul in the Raleigh office and got no response. I have filed a complaint with the NC Chamber of commerce and will write complaints on every social media outlet I can do that this dosent happen to anyone else.Edit: I have received the invoice from the restoration company but it does not show how much I am being charged for materials vs labor just a flat rate bill which is unacceptable because I want to know why I am being charged so much more than average. No one from this company seems to care about the hassle they have put me and my family through. No one has even had the decency to call and talk to me about my concerns or answer my questions they just expect me to over pay for sub par quality and service.

And they completed it in about 6 hours.But this is just half of the awesome Team of USA Flooring. Angelina Ireland was the main influence for me to go with this Company. Highly knowledgeable. She explained every detail; from carpet/padding selection, to advice on how to get rid of animal odors, to the different scenarios that degrade carpet over time to name a few. Best part of it all was she was not pushy. She listened to my situation, understood my budget, gave me several price points for me to choose from, not to mention, gave me her undivided attention.I had also called another company to comparison shop. And although the other company was cheaper (but not by much) I did not get the same impeccable customer service. And it showed that she priced fairly and competitively. I enjoyed their showroom as well. I got to see and feel the materials that they offer.Lastly, the convenience of paying online. Their store was a good distance from my home so this worked out perfectly from me. If you want knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing and professional workmanship, USA Flooring is the choice!!!

I stated as a company if it’s your mistake you should always honor the price you give to a customer to be fair and for any inconvenience. She didn’t honor her original quote.
