Patrick Lawrence: I was hesitant when I crossed this place on G-maps but was hungry enough to try it. Wow, was I glad I had! This place serves delicious food and you can't beat the price per plate. I walked in and asked everyone what to order and each person recommended the cheeseburger plate. If everyone knows, they know. I got the double with fries and their super hotdog. I was super satisfied and full! It was like eating a home grilled burger and dog! Definitely worth it over ANY fast food joint. Don't skip it. Stop in and grab a bite. You won't regret it either. Only tiny complaint was it's takeout only (June 2023) so I wished I could have eaten at a booth inside. Go get yourself some tasty meals here!

Thomas Strickland: Sorry, but you’ve lost a customer today. I may not mean much as just one, but the restaurant closes at 2 and you’re only open three hours a day. I’ve tried multiple times to call in an order I can never ever get through, because no one answers the phone or it’s busy. I’ve been a really long time customer, and for the last year or so I can never seem to conduct business here. People that run it are nice, but lunch for most people are from 12 to 3 ish. I came in just after 1 and I was told it was closed. So I guess never mind.

John: This place used to be amazing. Some Jamaican guy bought it and ruined it. No more deli meats or authentic Italian food. The place is always dirty and the overpriced lunch food just sits out at room temperature all day. There is NO WAY this place will pass a code inspection as it is. It's disgusting. They have a deep frier and hot plates with NO HOOD that they actually cook on. They have a residential fridge in the back. It's just one code violation after another. Such a shame, because the Taste of NY in Raeford is so wonderful.

What I got was more of a fajita style pita sandwich with what looked like a few dollops of nacho cheese on the inside. Pretty pricey for not including any sides or a drink. Would try this place again one more time before completely writing it off.

Bob Stegall: Bought a SMOKED SHOULDER PICNIC , Cooked it with pineapple and brown sugar like I have many times in the past yrs. BUT this time the shoulder was so SALTY my family could not eat it. I'm so DISAPPOINTED and out $34.67. NO MORE MORTY PRIDE MEATS.
Valerie Smith: Bought one of their hams at Food Lion in Durham, NC. It was fabulous! I found a Smithfield ham after this one so I bought it and cooked both for comparison. I was happily shocked at the quality and taste of the Morty Pride ham! Will search out another of these cured hams again.
