We were shopping around for different vendors for a while but stuck with Parnell because of Mickey who was respectful, insightful and courteous during our initial discussions. Doug was also very respectful and well-versed with our requirements, answering any questions before, during, and after construction. They accomplished the job quickly and efficiently keeping us apprised on all stages of the development. We have already jumped in several times, in our new in-ground pool and we are really satisfied and know if any questions arise or need assistance, we can reach out to Parnell. And most importantly we absolutely loved Kathy!

Sarina McNeil: Update 1 year later: our liner had to be replaced after only a year. Parnell said it wasn't covered under warranty so they wouldn't fix the issue.. come to find out they installed the liner without making the appropriate drainage updates and sealing the drain with sand in it. Which likely caused the leaking in the first place. I do not recommend this company company your pool repairs..Overall pleased with the installation of our in ground liner. However, the one downside I had with this company was that I was constantly calling them to get updates on installation and other random things that needed to be scheduled. I feel as the customer, you the business should be doing the upmost to make sure I know the timeline and what is going on. I would like to give 3.5 stars.

Kadine Lyons: I’m not even sure where to start but here we go. I must admit that I dropped my pool cleaner off a couple of months ago to be serviced. When I went in for a quote, I was told it would be $500 to fix my cleaner but once I bought the cleaner to the store, the price quickly went up to &698. I realized that I needed to save some more money. I called the store a couple of weeks ago to pay for the cleaner to be fixed but my cleaner is now missing. I was asked if I came to pick it up or did I send someone to pick it up. I didn’t ask anyone to pick up the cleaner so the young lady I spoke with promised to have a manager call me back. They wanted to look further into what could have happened. I tried calling 3xs but have not received a call back and each time I call, The manager is not in the store. I think I’m being ignored because my cleaner was given to the wrong person by mistake. I understand we are human and mistakes happen. No one has yet to apologize or call me back to bring some results to the mishap. I’m being ignored and not sure what to do at this time.

Natasha Joseph: Finally got my kids an above ground pool and had no clue how to care for it. I will say I got a bit confused with directions, so just head to Khols and look at the other building to left of it. It's a smaller store attached to the furniture store. The woman that I spoke to was very knowledgeable and super helpful. After driving around to multiple stores that were always out of stock (no matter what their online inventory said), this store had exactly what I needed and more. This will now be my one and only go-to store for all my pools needs.I would like to add this...due to another review I read. I want to thank the store. I don't know what their mask policy is, but I still wear mine everywhere. Despite the fact I'm vaccinated, I'm still careful. I'm raising 3 kids, 1 of which was too young to get the vaccine. I don't want to risk getting sick, or my children. The Delta variant hit the US in March and is officially in every state. I know how some people are, but I want to thank the store for trying to uphold a policy that is in place to protect people, despite those that disagree. I really admire it.

Horrible customer service, and most of the time, the employees have no idea on how to process a refund or give you a courtesy call to let you know your item has arrived at the store, and when you call, they say that they returned to the warehouse
Nicole Henderson: We went to Leslie Pool to purchase a pool. There were 3 other customers walking in at the same time as us. We were very rudely told we would not be served unless we put on a mask....even tho the mandate has been lifted. One lady even pulled out her vaccination card and was told she would absolutely not be served until she put on a mask. Needless to say, we are ALL taking our business elsewhere. The way we were spoken to was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.

Makia Pike: My husband and I bought our dream house not too long ago and it has an in-ground pool. We didn’t know how to take care of it and we traveled all across Fayetteville to different pool shops to get help. This shop was the only one that was willing to take the time to explain things to us and help us get our pool back into working shape. I’m so thankful that we found this gem. We stop by at least once a week to stock up on supplies and test the water. Don’t waste your time at other pool stores, stop by Leslie’s today!

Alyssa Stoffer: I would not recommend this company. The liner was replaced on my pool just fine. But the communication or lack there of has been awful. We hired an outside lead detection company to come out to determine where a leak is post the liner install. Its in the light they installed after doing the liner. I've been instructed by their office manager not to call the office because I was rude. So my husband called to try and get answers and he was greeted with unprofessional attitude. My renters have also tried to get a clear answer on what work was done pertaining to the bottom drain and they were given a different answer then my husband. Its a complete mess and a total waste of our time and money.Updated-12/28 -Funny that “thou shall not lie” isn’t part of your “Christian values”. We took your company to small claims court over 18 months ago and WON. Ken is straight up with everything, does what he says, is on time and very professional. His staff is professional and friendly and gets the job done! Lisa is super friendly and very knowledgeable about all things pool but rest assured if she doesn’t know something she will get the answer to you as quickly as possible. I am 100% satisfied with my pool installation and the service that I have gotten with it.
Jerrod Keplinger: Really disappointed. Affordable pools advertises itself as a Christian based business but that’s not the experience we’ve had. The owner gave us a price which was to “include everything” but when it came down to it, tried to back out of his word and charge us much more. It’s too bad you can’t trust a mans word anymore. Losing the business of two pools.
Scott Caisse: I used this company to replace the liner in my inground pool. The initial work was done and was timely. On the second season part of the liner started to come loose. I called and asked The owner to come and look at it. He explained that it would be an $89.00 service call. He said the warranty was only good for one year(almost $2,500.00). My issue was with the workmanship not the product. Poor customer service and does not stand behind his work. I will pay someone else before I give him the business.
Dante Oops: We are absolutely in love with our new pool! Ken did listen us careful and give us advice which he was very knowledge. He never pushed mew to get something bigger and more money. Ken did a beautiful and professional job. I was very impressed with their pricing compared to their competitors. I love that they are a family ran small business. Customer service was great and we have no complaints. I highly recommend this company for the job.
Stephanie Searor: This company did an amazing job installing our pool liner last year. Their prices are fair and they do a good job; however, because they are very good, they’ve gotten very busy, and definitely need more help. The owner’s daughter is doing a majority of the work, and she definitely doesn’t have enough hands or time to get everything done. I hope they can find some good help so that they can take care of even more pools in Fayetteville!
Clinton: Had a great experience from day 1, I highly recommend Affordable pools. Our pool was completed on time no changes in the price no issues and have been enjoying it for several months. Ken and his team are great! I'm not sure about some of these bad reviews because you don't pay until each phase is completed so they don't take your money for a job not completed. I will continue to use and recommend affordable pools for all our pool needs.

He was honest with me about everything up front and did it exactly how I wanted it. I am very pleased with this company!! I will be using them for all my future pool needs! Victoria McIvor: Contacted them in February now it's June and the work was finally completed. My liner was ordered and replaced no problem but the concrete to get fixed is where my trouble began. I had to call them and ask them when the work was going to be done. They never called me without being prompted to explain anything going on, until I asked for a discount for the inconvenience is when I got an explanation and them saying no we can't come off the price. They said the concrete guy was in the hospital for two weeks and with the rain they couldn't get it done faster. My thing is there was plenty of days between march and may to come finish the job but what really upset me is no explanation for anything until I ask for them to come down in price! They should've contacted me and explained to me during the process but they didn't. His daughter took off a hundred for the inconvenience but not her father ken. She understood I was upset and took off what she could which I am thankful but her father was like sorry my guy was in the hospital for two weeks and there was rain so I can't come down on the price. Mind you they had since march after the liner to finish. How many days is that? Exactly, I will never consult them again or recommend them. Very poor costumer service. But they got a star because that's the lowest choice and because of the daughter. Thank you for the discount and I apologize for being so angry in the store. It wasn't you just the whole situation.

Jess Eberdt: I bought my 2-person CalSpa from Paradise in Garner a couple of. years ago. Not only have I thoroughly enjoyed this small spa, which they special-ordered for me to allow it fit into a tight space, their after delivery service as has been exemplary. As recent as yesterday, they (Brandon and Mathew) assisted me with a very complex service issue, which I completed on my own, albeit at their expert direction over the phone and email. (The issue was self-inflicted and not related to the quality of the product). I have been a hot-tub/spa owner of various types for many, many years and I highly recommend Paradise Pool and Spas to anyone in the region that is in the market. Super! Jess

Tahysha Savage: Would not recommend anyone to buy a pool from this place. I bought my pool at the Hwy 42 location. When I went back the next week after install with questions they had moved to Dunn. You have to call this location 10 times before you can get someone on the phone. Dunn is not down the street like Hwy 42 was so I could just stop by anytime. They had to know they were moving when I paid $5000 for my pool and they didn't say a word. They are not available for questions too far to go get supplies and now my pool is leaking.I've only had my pool 2 summers.The installers won't answer my calls and the store referred me to Rising Sun Pools because of coarse they don't service what they installed. Good customer service is so hard to find. HOW CAN YOU NOT STAND BEHIND YOUR WORK? I am so disappointed. Why would a company want to take away from what was supposed to have been such a special experience? I wish I had known all this upfront. Then l would have went have to Rising Sun Pools, where I should have went in the first place. They service their pools.
tony lawry: Team is great and will test water right there for you. They do run out of stuff pretty fast so make sure you stock up with your supplies when they have it. They have a keen memory for repeat customers which makes it easy for you when you forget what things you need for your pool. Prices are $$$, what what pool store isn't, but I found that Amazon is higher.

Hired Smith: Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. We could buy a pool anywhere. We chose to buy from Brandon because of his customer service over a years worth of questions that were always properly and accurately answered. We were in the Dunn NC store. We bought a 30' Kodiak.
