James Dunning: DT used to be the “swanky” or “rich” people’s hotel when I was a kid. This location hasn’t been updated since the late 1990s. Our room’s bathroom was small and worn. The entrances at front and back were dirty. There was a dead black bug on the white tile at the end of our hall for the whole weekend we were here (we named him Charlie) and it proved the cleaning staff rarely made it down our way. For the price, this spot is overrated. (Even the cookies were underdone and cold.)

Emily Lemons: My family and I stayed 4 days and 3 nights. Sheets were not clean. Entire family woke up with swollen eyes from dirt and allergies, even after spraying microban! Last day my family and I stayed, we were not given new linen. One room has used tissues between the towels. Refrigerator did not work so my father had to keep his insulin in a cooler the entire time! Chair was broken and my father almost hurt himself and he is disabled. Room temperature would not stay adjusted so we had trouble sleeping in heat. Attempted to connect to the Wi-Fi but it continued to say “error”. Gian was sweet and advised we paid for B&B but when we attempted to get breakfast the first day, the lady working in the kitchen hounded us saying we did not pay for breakfast. When I gave my room number and name she did not believe it was my name on the room. My sister needed merely a muffin so that she could take her meds, and was screamed at saying she needed to pay! Melissa was kind enough to speak with us on the matter, we will never return to a Hilton, especially in NC. We all know that none of you will fix this issue, so stop implying that you will improve. DISGUSTED with the overall stay.

Michelle Corbin: A wonderful hotel! Modern, very clean and excellent customer service. The rooms were immaculate and well stocked with all the little amenities. They have a small onsite bar and served continental breakfast in the morning. Not a buffet. Price ranges from 10-18$ depending on what you order. I stayed in a king bedroom and it was huge! Lots of parking and places around to eat. I’m a diamond member and was very pleased with this hotel and customer service. Henrietta Lamb (Lambchop622): Very clean which is most important but there were so many things to love about this spot. Modern furniture, and excellent lighting including reading lights. Big TV, fridge, microwave, comfortable bed right amount of pillows, and the shower was the best hotel shower ever. I could say more but you should visit this place yourself. My only complaint is the water pressure at the sink was too low.

Edward Yee: Stay away at all costs. You know what's it's like. You drive all day on your vacation. It's 930pm, all you want to do is get some rest, the kids have been at it all day in the small confines of your car. You finally get to your hotel, only to find out that the third party app, which guaranteed you 2 beds in the room, only has a king, unless you want to pay for an upgrade to a queen. Are you kidding me? Why can't this be fixed at check in. Why do you have to squeeze every nickel out of us? Extremely disappointed in the Hilton brand and at hotel management. You've lost a customer FOREVER !

Grey: Very nice stay here. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, bed sheets were clean, and no signs of bugs. Towels were nice, tissues had a nice little flower in them. AC worked really well and had a nice digital wall control. a crafton: Hotel is being renovated. Walls are stripped bare. A strong chemical smell on the floors. This is a construction site. It should not be open for guests. Go to another hotel.

Not quiet but not too noisy either.The front desk staff vary from ok to very nice and helpful.Room is spacious and we booked a room with a living room, so was quite large. Across the corridor there there simpler bedrooms as well.The shower was old fashioned and great to have the pressure for a change.The breakfast is mediocre at best - artificial food, no variety or taste. On our last day there were not many guests left and by 8:00 hrs there was only 1 fried egg left, but still several old hard boiled eggs in the fridge which had been there several days. So the ‘complimentary’ breakfast you paid for should be avoided if you can.Internet weak and needs relogging-in all the time.Under the excuse of environmental considerations they don’t change your towels unless you ask them to, fair enough. But they also don’t do any cleaning or emptying of garbage in the room, even when they come to change the towels — in the 5 days we were here, and this is not acceptable. Likewise the available soap and shampoo in the bathroom, one needs to request them.The bed was ok but not so good for someone with back problems.If I were to come to Fayetteville again I would probably check the other hotels first.

Jake Daniels: Very nice location right off the freeway. Staff is super friendly and my room was very comfortable. They are remodeling some areas but that didn't bother us one bit as they seem to be starting after checkout and working into the early evening. Barbara was fantastic at check-in and very knowledgeable about the area. Look forward to next time back to Fayetteville as I'm sure we will stay here again! Hotel is newer, rooms were clean, no gross rugs or mildew in the shower…soap, lotion, shower gel is on the wall and I appreciated no tiny bottles everywhere. Dogs are welcome and the Hampton Inn across the parking lot allows you to use their outdoor pool as a guest of Tru. Service was absolutely amazing including the front desk person from LI and the other person with green hair (wish I’d gotten your names—sorry!). Breakfast was delicious, clean—the grits were smooth with no lumps and the attendant patiently taught me how to season them well. Yup, it’s the little things—and this place did it well. Would stay here again..

Heard trucks and cars passing all night long. Sounded like we were sleeping on the highway. The fridge and AC noises combined made it the worst night sleeping on vacation. Imelda Egg: After a ten hour drive, we entered our room looking to a relaxed evening only to be welcomed by the thump-thump-thumping from the room above ours…courtesy of two 9-10 year olds (saw them later running in the lobby). I would suggest that families with young children be assigned rooms on the 1st floor and not subject other guests to a less than comfortable stay. Disappointed!

I made reservation months ago and was not aware of this. 1st as we walked in the front entrance foam was falling in our hair from work being done right under the obstacle course to get in the front door. Then the lobby was a complete disaster area with barely a walkway especially toting a suitcase. I expressed my displeasure at the front desk person that was checking us in. Then the "owner cones out and is extremely rude and says well we canceled your rreservations. This hotel should not even be open for business with the current state. I have stayed at this hotel many times but will NEVER again.
