Team Groover: We have been using The Downtown Market for all of our house warming gift baskets for our clients for a couple years now. We love working with local companies and have found no one better to ensure our clients house warming basket are as amazing as their new home! Johanna always puts a special touch on our baskets and always asks about the family receiving the basket, making it special just for them! We would be in huge trouble if we did not make special mention of our best friend Benny. If you have not had the opportunity to meet him, stop by their store and take a minute to look around. You will not leave empty handed!

Johanna and Benny are super welcoming. You can’t leave this shop without loving Fayetteville small, close knit feel.

Nothing compared to what the owner usually makes , for the price it would be I decided not to buy it , it absolutely wasn’t worth it.

I’ve always loved their flowers but this last time I went my bouquet was much smaller than they normally make them now I’m not sure if that’s because of price changes during the winter season or what but it was disappointing. Also the staff they’ve had recently is just not as inviting as they used to be and the lady that helped me seemed like I was just a inconvenience. I’ve always loved this place and the flowers but I’m not so sure anymore.

Also, there is a lot of supposed healthy processed stuff that I just can't get myself to fall for. It is clean and the workers seem a bit happier than Walmart or Food Lion so there is some value there.

They don't sell seamoss though.

Tina Bromelow: The produce selection here is by far the best in the area. The fruit is fresh, vibrant, and picked well. The vegetables have great color, truly enjoyable shopping experience. Pate's is definitely part of our shopping must!

Jeffrey hall: I'll 100% be going back and taking more pictures. This location is AWESOME! I've lived in this area for 16 years and never stopped by. This is much more than a place to go buy some seeds or planters. You'll know it's something special when you see how full the parking lot is. This piece of fish was $6 and some change, and it was the largest piece I've seen 😂. Would have been 10.99 with two sides and hush puppies. It was PERFECT and one piece literally filled the container. Oh...and their produce section has everything you can imagine!

Jennifer Munger: Pate's Farm Market has a lot to choose from, including produce, (some locally grown and harvested), fresh meat, jams, cheeses, mustards, snacks, sweets, baked goods, candy, and more. They have a nursery/greenhouse, (which I did not visit this time, though will visit next time...and have heard it is amazing! My purchase included produce, sirloin beef tip steak, and snacks, and was very reasonably priced, and DELICIOUS! I definitely would recommend visiting - this was my first time! I will go back!

Matthew Prince: Love shopping here the prices and items available is unlike any other spot in Fayetteville. Everything is fresh and easy to get to including their own pineapple machine to cut your selected pineapple for you right before your eyes the kids will love it. Everyone is always friendly and the also have a hot food bar that changes on a daily basis. Definitely a recommendation especially if your planning a cookout, the selection in meats and prices will have you wanting to buy extra with nowhere to store it lol.

Robert Sweeney: I have gone into this store regularly and you absolutely need to check expirations dates for all foods. They consistently have an issue with expired foods on the shelves and in dairy sections. Today I had to point out six random products I picked up that were up to a month expired. This has been addressed each time I have gone into the store and on three separate occasions, the manager (Megan) has been informed and had discussions with me. Clearly there is not any sort of process to go through products on a frequent basis. One product found had an expiration from October 2022.

Kay M.: Lately all of the produce has a mold problem. Some of the produce in the store before you buy it is molding. I used to shop here a lot now I try to shop elsewhere or only get things that will not mold or have fruit flies.

The parking lot is littered and even inside as well. Love their self checkout but machines are often dirty. Prices are typically lower than other stores but I just can't support that type of environment. It's too bad because it's so convenient to me.

I know that no one wants to actually work, but paying for a Walmart monthly subscription is pointless. Orders are constantly delayed or simply not delivered. Items are said to be out of stock but you go in person and it’s on the shelf clear as day. I tipped $10 for my small order. Why? It never got delivered and the actual Walmart location doesn’t answer the phone. 8660 cliffdale Walmart grocery should be better than Skibo. Unfortunately, they are becoming another Walmart location I don’t want to use anymore. Do better.
