Cape Fear Valley Medical Center: what do users think?
Joseph Locklear: Very unprofessional. Sat in the waiting room even after I was told my x-rays were back and they were waiting on a room. And watched others who had just came in get called back while I sat there with a recluse bite since 6 pm. Here it is 130 and I'm still watching others get called back. I will not be back and I will make sure others know how bad this place is
MICANDRA BRIGGS: This hospital needs to be shut down!!! They are more concerned about infrastructure instead of saving lives. They diagnosed one of my family members telling her one of their organs was damaged and may need transplant and within a week they tell her she does need to see a specialist she can go home. I don’t think so! The service is subpar and they need to gut the entire premises. One of my coworkers daughter was offered to do her intern there and refused because she said the hospital was nasty and opted to travel 2 hours to avoid working there. Avoid this hospital and drive to Chapel Hill or Duke, the life you save may be your own!!😡😡
James Cone: Saw that they actually reply to reviews so hopefully this will help since patient services never does. Have been charged self pay for an ambulance ride because 'I, km ordered it, not the doctor' who was going to send me home with very infected kidneys. Upon arriving to the main campus they said if I went home my kidneys would have failed.....that should have been charged to my insurance. Once the naprostomy bag was installed my food tray in my room had someone else's dry blood all over it.Last week a doctor prescribed my child medication that kids his age cannot even have.Last night a boy wet himself while sleeping in the er....the pee was pushed around and spread out. Nothing wet was applied and no sanitizer was applied. After stepping in the pee and tracking it around the man said he cleaned it with vinegar. The chairs he peed in were never dried or sanitized. The swiffer he used to push the pee around was left hanging off the cart for a new pile of pee to fall in a new area with no sanitizing. Wiping up a bodily fluid is not cleaning.
Patrick Connolly: Good staff and service
James Couch: Having been in Hospital administration, this is the worst run hospital I have ever been associated with! My daughter is currently a patient! Response to patient concerns in the CEOs office is zero! Multiple calls for patient advocate with no results! No one has responded after 5 calls! One of the worst doctors and incompetent! He was told don’t come back to the room! She now has a major liver infection after low standard of care! Lack of organization, lack of concern, and lack of competency! No doctor coordination with plans of treatment among doctors! A 1.0 out of 5.0 rating!Dr. James Couch
matt gregory: This is absolutely the worst hospital experience I have ever encountered. Let's begin with the front desk staff who I feel take pleasure from being the rudest, self centered, uncompasionate people who should not be the front face to especially a hospital. Policy, procedures and family visitation needs to be addressed company wide immediately. According to the corporate office policies things should be allowed, however the staff at this hospital says and does what they want. Lack of empathy is very disheartening. Wish I could give a 0 for review.
kaysi cleveland: If i could give negative scores i would. I went up to L&D seeming i am 39 wks with contractions every 3-5 mins… upon arrival i informed them of medical history and my issue if not being able to dilate past 1cm on my own. Yet they checked i was only 1cm i told them i know something is not… Against my concerns Dr Jones ( who is on call. And not my normal OB) they sent me home. I ended up arriving later that night in a ambulance weak and sluggish and unable to lift my legs with out a struggle… i informed the nurses AND ALL THEY DID WAS CHECK MY CERVIX AND SEND ME HOME! Even with me expressing my other issues and once again saying i cannot dilate past 1cm on my own. The nurse informed me i requested the doctor Dr.jones to spam with me the nurse then told me the doctor isn’t even in house they called for orders !
Manny Jones: My mother is 79 yrs old and had knee replacement surgery 1 week ago. Her surgery experience went well however she had to go to the ER for low blood pressure and was made to wait 12 hours after being initially checked in. Had my sister not called and requested ice for her knee, food and water, she would have had nothing. She left 12 hours later because she was tired of waiting. At this point, a post op elderly patient has had no rest, missed her medication and was given no information other than to wait. The medical institution makes enough money that this should not be the case. What has happened to medical "care" in this country? This is disappointing to say the least.
Kat Seagroves: The wait is ridiculously long to get help. I was sitting in the waiting room in inscrutiating pain and they said they can't give any medicine unless you're in a room. People were waiting for 24/25 hours at the hospital waiting for a room to become available. They aren't really helping anyone
Andrea Humble: The worst. Came as transfer and told them I needed FMLA paperwork filled out for my work since I had been hospitalized for almost a week and missing work. They refused to fill out my paperwork for no reason and then I got corrective action from my job. Not to mention my heart rate was high after surgery and the nurse was concerned and said she was going to talk to my provider….. never came back. Next nurse on shift said the same thing about my heart rate but no one was telling me what was going on. Never want to go back here.
Leah McLaughlin: Literally the worst ER I’ve ever been to. 15 hour long wait with sick people standing in the hallway.
Janet Lockett: Hang on in there....HEROS!!! Thank you!!!
Celeste R: I came in for chest pains 3 hrs ago… I’m still sitting in the waiting room. The only reason I’m giving two stars is my nurse in triage Heather. I hope she gets out of there and someplace more deserving of her. She was amazing the rest of the staff needs to be evaluated desperately… this is insane! Carolyn needs to be fired! She’s a terrible nurse and does not need to be in the er or healthcare. Btw I have been a nurse for 20 yrs I know this is NOT okay!
Katie Richesin: They help my child. My child appreciate it too. They'rethey were kind and I can't appreciate you enough thank you.
Jessica Williford: Drove almost an hour and a half to see my sister-in-law in labor and delivery. We were told that she had the maximum number of people in her room. That was fine, we didn't want to be in there while she was in labor, so we asked where the waiting room was. We were told there was nowhere to wait, that we could not get passes. Who doesn't have a waiting area for family? This hospital who needs to build one. The dad could not even be in the triage area for hours today before she was admitted, so she was there by herself being monitored. Other hospitals allow people back at triage and there are waiting areas. If having a baby, go somewhere else.
Jesabee: Jesus couldn’t heal this place
Ebony Hinton: Cape fear valley short stay was amazing the staff was very friendly the front desk staff who check me in was polite, the nurse Darlene Was very friendly and funny while she was helping me prepare for my pre op, also the nurse in the pre op was pleasant as well didn’t get her name but she and the other nurses in the pre op area was great and wonderful to me and other patients there as well. Also Christine and the other nurses in the OR was funny and wonderful and they did their job very well kept me calm until it was time for my procedure to begin all nurse and staff that was great enjoy each and everyone of them
Charles Messenger: The ER portion of this facility is shot. The process needs to be revamped. I’ve been waiting in the parking lot for 9 hours (and counting) because the waiting room doesn’t accept visitors. Cape Fear is continuing to add to the facility but not to their overall process. Terrible hospital.
Annie Benzing: My Husband was there for 2wks. and later was moved to Woodlands Rehab. Ipon arriving he realized that Cape Fear lost his HEARING AID CHARGER.W I thout it, he can not hear cause he can not charge his hearing aids.
Joel Torres: Registration was quick and easy. The staff is super helpful and even pointed out the free picnic, which served excellently cooked hamburgers and hotdogs.
Kay “Lill”: Go somewhere else. Even if your leg is hanging off! Also, take note that all the bad reviews are about the ER and not the hospital as a whole.

Fayetteville VA Health Care Center: what do users think?
Kel McRae: If I could actually give them less then one star I would...and it's strictly off the base of them giving you attitude for asking questions..... I'm asking you for help and understanding don't talk to me like I'm a problem
Melvin McLaurin: Was here with my wife. She is a Veteran
Robert malton: The travel section is totally worthless, who ever is in charge need to be fired.
Chaplain Edward Tessmann (Minister/Chaplain): The VA in Fayetteville, NC has come along way with outstanding service and staff. Both the Health care facilities and the VA Hospital on Ramsey Street
Jake Norton: Shout out to the call center hanging up on me twice today. Y'all rock.
Judy Lilly: Went to eye appointment yesterday. The young lady that worked as the tech who prepped me for the doctor was AWESOME! Can't remember her name but she was thorough, funny and made my day. My doctor a young lady was the best EVER also. Kudos to y'all. This was on 4/3/23 @ 9am.
Bibi: It is absolutely frustrating trying to get a hold of someone here. I’ve called several numbers at different times of the day (for a couple of weeks now) and no one picks up the phone! It’s even more frustrating when I’m given the option to leave a voicemail but the box is full. This is the 3rd VA system I’ve been in and probably one of the worst one so far.
Judy: I had an appointment via tellahealth video today at 2 pm and no one showed up. I waited 20 minutes and decided to start calling around. No one answered until I called the Ramsey location. I told them what happened and they said that my provider canceled my appointment and had to leave the office, yet I was NEVER informed about this. The woman at the Ramsey location said there's nothing she can do to help me and told me to wait on the phone to speak to someone because they have high call volume. I will NOT be waiting. Poor customer service!!! I'm so sorry this is how our veterans get treated!
Wade Williams (Chaplain Wade): This location is a very modern hospital. The Primary Care Providers are here along with all of the Specialty Care Providers, too. You will also find X-rays, MRIs, other imaging methods, and all sorts of testing methods here. They also have a canteen and a coffee shop.I really like this hospital and have been treated well by pretty much everyone there. Occasionally you will run across someone who isn't having their best day. It's unfortunate since so many of us Veterans are dealing with diseases that, in most instances, has already changed our lives drastically, and/or shortened our life expectancy. I really wish that people who have chosen to work in medical facilities would realize how hard it is for many of us to work up the courage to go to our appointments. Or how physically difficult it is just to get ready, then get transported, and into the hospital.Being met by 100 people with a smile and a genuinely kind greetings can be destroyed by one single rude receptionist, technician, nurse, or doctor. It isn't relegated to just the greeting. Someone who doesn't have patience, understanding, or can't offer an actual physical hand when needed.I know this because it has happened to me. I can't put into words how devastating that made my entire visit to the VA Hospital that day. Then knowing that I was supposed to come back the next day. It took absolutely everything I had not to blow off my visit. Thankfully my wonderful wife can help me see the light through the darkest cloud.I do recommend all Veterans go to this hospital and get registered to receive your benefits here. That department is very welcoming and the people are professional and kind. And if after meeting your PCP you're not happy with them, meet with the Patient Representatives to try and get it worked out.Again, I do recommend this hospital for all Veterans and their families who qualify.
PJS TSA: Typical government office useless employees that will refuse service due to not wearing a mask.
Craig Adams: Well improved. Efficient service, concerned and helpful staff. Primary care doctors and nurses all well as reception staff are very good. Thanks.
Marcos M: This VA Hospital / Healthcare facility is very well taking care of, staff are very professional and knowledgeable. The treatment this facility provides to all veterans are superb. Keep up the good work.
Acacia Desirae: This VA does not care about its Veterans. It should not take 6 months to get an intake appointment for a transferring Veteran. Absolutely ridiculous when there are two VAs in this area! Going 6 months without healthcare is absurd!
Rodney Harter: PT services following knee replacement were outstanding! Professional, courteous, and caring. Proud of my VA!
Kevin Williams: Dr. Berridge, of the Audiology department, demonstrates the utmost in professional and courteous care.
Viola Malloy: I am seen at this VAMC and yesterday I'm not sure what was happening. I went in to have some lab work and the amount of people waiting was more than I have ever seen. I waited about 20 minutes before my number was ever called (it may have been longer), then after going to the desk to verify myself, I waited another 10 maybe 15 minutes. I will go on record now having been told I have, "tiny veins," and I'm a "hard stick," however I always pass this info on to the tech, I go in well hydrated and give them permission to just stick me, no need for the warnings etc. I know I'll probably flinch if warned. Well yesterday 3 different lab techs stuck me 3 different times with no actual blood draw. I must say I wondered if they were all new to the field, they seemed to lack that confidence and assurance that they are skilled in their profession, and as a patient I need to feel that assurance. I hope each of them becomes more skillful in their job so they can display confidence and assurance to the patient.
Anthony o'garra: Always in and out...
Zhané Rios: I've been in different VA's on the east coast and this is the worst one yet.Not only are the operators on here either have little to no knowledge about what this VA is doing when it comes to scheduling appointments for veterans and their families, but there are the operators that accurately set the tone of how this VA in particular does not care for the veteran and their families when it comes to something as refilling medication or trying to set up an appointment after moving from another state.I've been waiting almost 3 weeks to schedule an appointment for medicine that essentially helps prevent more anxiety attacks from occurring than what I have in the service and at this point, I feel like I might have to walk into the ER with glass shards on my feet to get any sort of medical attention that help with my mental illness. This VA is a joke amongst others and they really need to improve on their services. I wouldn't be surprised if this VA had an ER full of mentally ill veterans due to their lack of urgency to help those that seek it.
Orville Chin: Been trying to refill my dedication by calling it in. Waste of time even the automated system is trash at this clinic. Think I’ll make a YouTube video just to show America that nothing works at the VA hospital.
Michael Richards: The VA as a whole when it comes to helping veterans in dire need is pathetic.
Brianna: I'm rating this facility as a 1-star due to the extreme inability by part of this establishment to maintain any sort of sense of time.To begin, providers tend to call out sick with absolutely zero back up plan - leaving veterans who've been waiting nearly a year for their initial VA appointment (y'know, the appointment that lets you get medication refills and schedule regular appointments if you move or are fresh out of the military). There should always be a backup provider available to ensure veterans who've earned their right to healthcare maintain their appointments that are scheduled MONTHS in advance.Additionally, a simple appointment at optometry should not take 2 hours. I spent TWO HOURS waiting on my husband to get his eyes dilated and the whole shebang just to come to the conclusion they FORGOT about him. I had to go to the "Eye Clinic" front desk and question about my husband's status for her to say he was already checked out. Obviously he was not as myself and my toddler were waiting for him right outside the clinic. She then informed me that he 'should' be with the provider currently and would be finished soon. I told her I did not have time for this considering my toddler was getting antsy and it had been nearly two hours at this point. I had to sit in the car to avoid agitating any elderly/sick veterans who would possibly be triggered by my daughter's tears/screams.Absolutely unacceptable for an EYE appointment to take 2 hours. Especially having been taken back early as we had arrived 30 minutes early. I am appalled at how slow and uncaring this clinic was as if people have hours of the day to spend at a mostly empty clinic. Mid-day/early afternoon on a Wednesday and it was a ghost town. Unacceptable. This is no way for veterans and their families to be treated. Especially dual-veteran families.

Southern Regional AHEC: what do users think?
Pika “PIKA NA SMILE” Smile: If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The receptionists are very rude and don't care how they talk to you. They are very unprofessional and don't take the time to listen to your concerns or needs in order to correctly help you. This place needs to train their resptionists on customer service, and how to talk to people.
Charline Piñero: Customer service. Really bad . I just call for cancel an appointment. No courtesy and hang the phone …with really bad attitude
Becky Rebec: I have been a patient for 9 years, and until recently had no complaints. Things have gone down hill in the last 12 months. Twice I had appointments at 10:15 and had to reschedule because each time the doctor still had two patients in front of me. Staff informed me that ALL doctors are behind due to the policy of making appointments 15 minutes apart, which is clearly not enough time. We patients are keeping the doors open, so why are we treated as if our time doesn't matter? In order not to have such a long wait time, I was told my only option was to make my appointment at 8:00 am, which I have done, but that is clearly NOT the solution to this ongoing problem.
Chevon Jackson: As a patient, ADVOCATE for yourself when it comes to diagnostic testing and treatments. Don't trust the provider just because they said so. I was almost given the wrong medication and mis diagnosed. When my blood work was abnormal, no one called me back. I had to call them for a follow up.If you're having medical problems, go elsewhere. They won't help you unless you take matter into your own hands and follow up with them.
Shakhira Miles: If I could give no stars I would . They are unorganized and unprofessional !
Michael Callahan: First time going there. I could not get an appointment with my primary care provider's office. Needed a yearly physical in order to have my B/P prescription refilled. No open your mouth and say ahhh. No checking your lymph nodes. I asked the Doctor. "Are you going to check my breathing?" Hold on, let me get a stethoscope ". Worst ever experience that I have ever had! They had me sit and speak to someone for what seemed like an hour, to say maybe you don't need them anymore. BTW, I am not a doctor! They were going to let me leave twice without getting the normal blood screening.
Tali Angel: Unfortunately I have to amend this review. I used to be happy to have residents as part of the care team. However, lately I have changed that opinion. It used to be that you would be assigned a provider and that would be who you would see and communicate with for questions or refills. Over the past few months it has gotten more and more difficult to get in touch with anyone who will help you, let alone your primary care provider. There have been several instances in which requests to who was thought to be the primary care provider were bounced around to several doctors over 2 to 3 days before getting a response from someone you have never heard of telling you they are filling in for another person who is also filling in for the actual doctor who they assigned you to and never informed you that they assigned that doctor to you. Some doctors appear to become easily offended when examining a patient. It has become difficult to communicate effectively with providers and staff. When an issue with a patient does come up, they will protect their provider, which is as it should be, don't get me wrong. However, they ONLY protect the provider and do not offer any type of protection or advocacy for the patient. It's heartbreaking to me that this facility has changed so much because I was with them for close to a decade.I just want to say that Bonney Wheelden, ARNP is my new personal hero and I want to thank her, her nurse and everyone there for making me feel heard and noticed for the first time in months.
Alexis Carrington Blake: This gets a 1 star because of the values and ethics that some of the receptionist DO NOT have. Apparently it’s okay to display condescending and passive aggressive behavior while working here. Certain receptionists have evil ways and management feels if they talk to them it will correct the problem. GETTING rid of the problem is the correct response.
Ann Drabek: Seriously, they are requiring masks Again! My mother is a patient here. I will do my best to convince her to find another doctor. This is about control not the spread of a virus. What freedoms are you willing to give up to get medical care?
Rohma Usman: The medial providers are great when you can actually meet them. I spent 30 min being told my call should be answered within 1 min as I am next on the line. Was misinformed about availability to meet my provider and set up a virtual appointment. My provider arranged for same day rapid Covid test and then a meeting with a provider and I was unable to get hold of anyone to see me. I will be looking for a different practice.
Sasha Anderson: I see a different doctor everytime I come in for an appointment. I keep asking about a referral for issues I have been having for years and continue to get dismissed. Front office staff is nice. It's also difficult to make an appointment here.
John Gage: My doctor doc Hilbert was one of the most disrespectful doctor I have ever meet, his idea of care was to say I was fat and to young to be disabled, and on making those assumptions without any real medical reasoning just brushed me off, I have never felt more ignored by a medical professional in my life even in a Florida prison I was taken more serious than this guy. Also my mental health was largely ignored by Dr. Darby in my opinion. If I can find out if possible I will be filing civil litigation for failure to provide fair and honest treatment. This is a failure by a professional resident who is responsible for training our future doctors.
Doreen DeLorenzo: I have had so many issues with this medical facility from misdiagnosis to failure to treat. Today I got my test back and it is positive for Covid SRHECt sent me somewhere else to be tested because they won’t see you nor test you at the office. I’m trying to make an appointment and they claim there is a hold on my account and they will not see me because I owe them $98 from a Covid test back when Covid tests were not supposed to be charged,, January 29 of 1991. This bill was already cleared up once because if it’s wasn’t they would have never seen me since then. This disgusting facility refuses to see you if you owe them any money… they refuse you medical care. I am not a young girl and I’ve worked in the medical field ,mostly hospitals, for 30 years. Never have I encountered such a disgusting treatment of patients were the only thing that matters is money to these doctors. I only have a small window of time to get the antiviral in me. Let’s wait and see if they bother to call me back I’m guessing not. For the record, I repaid them again for that bill so I should be clear. Let’s see what excuse they give me for not treating me now.
Hailey Lacy: This is the best care I’ve received in Fayetteville. Every single staff I encountered was so kind and I truly felt listed to and heard, which I’ve found hard to find in doctors offices. Feeling optimistic to go back again, when normally this is something I dread!
Patrick Nuttle: Be trying to get my results for over a month and have not heard a thing. Not too mention all of the voice mails I have left.
Knight Hawk: While on the phone asking questions, the person I was speaking to proceeded to hangup on me while I was in the middle of speaking to them. I waited for them to call back (my phone number was given and is visible. They also knew who I was through my files with them.) I will say I will more than likely never go here again.(In response to the owners reply.)No the call was not disconnected due to traffic or service. The phone could very clearly be heard being put back onto the receiver. If it had been disconnected due to what you had suggested and I had not heard the actual phone hitting the base I would have called back.
Joseph Warfield: Been going there for 30 years. Great doctors ( DR.Stephenie Insixiengmsi is the best.) She makes me feel so good. Great attitude and so willing to help. And always, the whole staff is great. 5 stars for Dr. Insixiengmsi. A great person.
Damaris Santiago: I called yesterday to be seen for coughing and neck pain. The girl who answered my call told me I needed to get tested for Covid before they could see me. I explained that I had just gotten the third (booster) shot Friday but she said I still needed to get tested. Called back 2 hours later with my negative Covid result and asked at what time I should head over there but she said they couldn’t see me till next week. If they were unable to see me she should have said that rather than making me drive to get tested to then tell me they couldn’t see me. It is disrespectful and unprofessional.
Jessica Richardson: Office is really great to get you in and out, also refilling medications. Consider seeking care elsewhere for any complex issues, from my own experience providers became dismissive related to ongoing/worsening issues or simply correlate the symptoms to a psych condition. I am finally being seen by a provider at another office and being treated for toxin exposure. Dr Wesley could practice active listening. No need to respond with an automated response, this is the level of care displayed at this facility.
Marisa Maneiro: If I can give no stars I would. Becareful cause they will Violate hippa law. They tell your business in the hallway thinking you not still there and other patients can't hear
Elise Smith: I've recently had the opportunity to talk to Katelyn three times to f/up on a response from my doctor. They are super busy and the wait is long. However, Katelyn has the best attitude considering the circumstances, knows what she is doing and is friendly. Kuddos to Katelyn.

Cumberland Medical Associates: what do users think?
Carey Sleeman: Nursing staff are wonderful but you’ll wait over an hour and a half before you even see your doctor. Clear your schedule if you come here!
Naomi Kopplin: Mr and Mrs.Dr. Dalvi has been my 89yr old gmas Drs for many yrs now and I can say from my own experience of caring for her for almost 4yrs that Both are extremely caring and wonderful at their practice as medical Drs.and their staff is awesome at making gma feel comfortable.Thank you Cumberland medical 🤗
Bernetta Williams: I have been going to Cumberland Medical for over 20 years .The doctors and staff treat me like family. I haven't had any issues with refills of my medication or making appointments, also not waiting to see the doctors for a long time .Any paperwork that I requested is handled in a timely manner. Debra who is the office manager is a sweet and caring person ,which make the other staff members follow in her personality trait . To be kind and professional at all time.I have not had any issues with my telehealth calls on the phone and Dr S .and her husband are very helpful and knowledgeable in answering any questions or concerns i have about my health issues and medications. They treat you like the doctors that used to make house calls many years ago.I always refer my friends and family members to this facility. A long time patient Bernetta Moore-Williams .
Romeo Tango: We have been attempting to get records released from my wife’s doctor, Dr. Dalvi, for months. As a result of the doctor ignoring multiple messages from staff etc and refusing to do her job my wife is going to have to wait and hope we can do a delayed command sponsorship to eventually have her and my daughter join me at my next station. Unacceptable behavior from any medical professional but especially a doc.
Brian Makela: Have been coming here for 2 years. Moving in 2 weeks, trying to settle my bill. Have been calling literally all day and no one answers. Showed up in person, told to call. Now I think my number is blocked. I really do not want to be sent to collections over a 10 dollar bill.
bonni perry: Friendly staff, love the allergy ladies, always quick when I see them. Good doctors who listen to you.
Mercedes Butler: Straight to voicemail for the 2nd day. No details still from an appointment back in July. Lack of communication is non-existent to be a medical practice.
Timothy Ingram: Geriatric family members require a very special patient care provider. The team of providers here are able to identify the type of service that each client needs and adjust their service to meet those needs. Patient care at this age has many obstacles and they are confident in adjusting and continuing to reach the level of excellence that is demanded.
Randall Hyde: Not a Bad Mecical Facility. Your getting highly qualified medical professionals to help you with your health and keep you alive as long as possible. Yes The wait times are a little bit long at times but I'm sure that can be improved with some management technics and the amount of time the doctors spend with patients just like the Government facility do. Nothing is more frustrating than waiting a long time and all you needed was refills. Maybe they could set some rooms up for patients who are just need refill and nothing else. There is no perfect medical facility out there. Not in today's world.
Alicia Hunt: Dr. Sumedha Dalvi and Dr. Sanjiv Dalvi are Great Doctors. They go above and beyond to make sure their patients are took care of. I never had Doctors to do that. The Nurses are great too very respectful. Don't take it from me go meet them for your self great professional staff. My husband and Me both go their now.
Pam McDowell: I am Extremely sick! I have Diverticulosis, Hiatal hernia, Barrett’s Disease, Enlarged Bio Duct, and I bleed Internally, I was told I was Septic a few days ago! None of the antibiotics are working! I missed my appointment today and the person I talked to very rudely told me that it looks like I have missed two appointments so they are going to have to send me to another doctor!! If she could feel half of what I am feeling she will probably go home roll up in a ball, and stay that way until she has to move! This is no joke if someone could please help! Also wondering if you were attacked by a very large dog if that would cause me to be septic? Dr. Colom at Cape Fear center Digestive Diseases
B Jones: The doctors are both wonderful and attentive. The office staff can use better customer service training.
Smita Aghera: Dr Sumedha Dalvi and Sanjiv Dalvi are good and all the nurses are very good! They took good care of me and my family members!Thank you
Hailee: Nurses are so wonderful and nice
Vaneesa Billy: My husband had an Echo done on 3February 2020. Everyone that I asked how long does it take to get the results told me a couple of days. It is 24February and we still have not gotten the results. I've called everyday for the last two weeks, at first she said the doctor has to review them and in the next breath she said nothing was in his chart. So I asked how long does the doctor have to review the results and she said 24hrs. I have given them more than enough time to give us the results. So, today I called and the office manager said it was on her desk and the doctor has to tell her what to say. Again, I asked how long will that take? She said the doctor gets here by 9, I said okay. I called back at 1:30 and the office manager was at lunch and the receptionist still couldn't tell me anything. I called again at 2:30 and was told she is still at lunch. I am fed up and I have run out of patience with the doctors office. This is very unprofessional and I feel like they don't care about you but they want their money. I work at a medical clinic and I know that if I had a patient calling everyday for two weeks I would take the initiative to call and find out where the results are but I guess that's asking too much! This doctor office sucks, go somewhere else where people care about your health. My husband will never come back here.
Zoja Herscha: The front office is incompetent. Every time I call I'm put on hold.To add, they talk so softly, they assume we all have perfect hearing. The office manager, Deborah, is the only one who knows what is going on. My parents see Dr. Sumedha, she's nice, but is not a good one to successfully diagnose something beyond the scope of common illnesses. "Well, it's not this." OK, then try to figure it out. She won't do it unless you pressure her (as someone with vast medical knowledge, I did it constantly for my husband who has a difficult to diagnose condition). I told her everything that needed to happen, and guess what, I was right about it all, even though it took an Infectious Disease specialist and a general surgeon to accomplish.A piece of paper in a frame doesn't mean you are infallible. I'm a scientist, so I expect a lot out of someone who went to school to learn how to do a body examination and know what's not right and what to do about it. Same concept as seeing an error in your lab process. Observation and analysis show you what part needs to be tweaked to get back on track, instead of just shrugging your shoulders and keep going with a failing process. The general giving out meds to treat the symptoms instead of finding the root cause is also terrible to do in medicine (veterinary medicine doesn't do this). I hate when doctors rely solely on bloodwork without a well rounded physical exam. You have your heart and lungs listened to, that's it. I don't have another PCP, but hope to find one soon. Good luck!
Tavares Wilkerson: The front office staff is beyond unprofessional and extremely rude. When calling the office you are put on hold and wait at least 15 minutes before someone comes back to the phone. Your wait time while in the office is a minimum of 2 hours and they wonder why you struggle to keep an appointment. People have to work and have no time to sit in a Dr.'s office ALL day. The staff answering the phone will make you go to another Dr.'s office. It is absolutely unbelievable!
Celeaha Munoz: I’ve been forgotten in the back for 3 hrs also been on the phone for about 40 mins and have not been taken care of they keep hanging up on me I’m still waiting for my referral from about a month and a half ago and nothing!!!!!
Laura Buckley: Worst office ever. Find another physician. This office is worthless.
Jill Minogue: Worst. Clinic. Ever.‘Got 3 calls about the same blood test results, but had to call them twice (so far) to get an X-ray scheduled (which was ordered by doc). And that is just the tip of the iceberg! Long waits in waiting room, even longer after being taken back to room. Docs looking things up on phone because they are unaware of how meds interact with each other...I could go on and on.
robert wilson: I have been a patient for 3 years ,at first it was great, now it's terrible.Have to pull teeth for refills no matter how vital the meds.I have end stage chirrosis liver disease and have been trying to get a vital prescription going into ,3 weeks ..This is par for the course for a long while now. They get rude and don't seem to care
