Central Carolina Doulas, Certified Birth & Postpartum Support and Childbirth Classes: what do users think?
Lexi Teska: Can't recommend Central Carolina Doulas enough. My family gifted me a postpartum doula through Aida who then connected us with our amazing doula, Payton. Payton was a wealth of knowledge and support from the day that I was connected with her. She also checked in with me before the baby was born and always sent me resources and articles for any questions that I had. Payton started helping during the night when my baby was two weeks old and my husband has just deployed. She was an absolute lifesaver. She always checked in with me on how i was feeling and what I needed and then also cared for the baby during the night while I was able to get some sleep. In the mornings I always woke up with an unloaded dishwasher, clean bottles, breakfast made for my older girls, and a binder that documented how her night went with the baby. Payton was so flexible with scheduling and always made it work if I needed to change a day outside of her normal schedule.Aida (the owner) also checked in with me multiple times during the period that we had Payton. She definitely cares about her business and clients.
Kim von Bleyle: I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Central Carolina Doulas, especially my doula Da’raille. She was a blessing to have in the delivery room and was such a great support system for myself and my fiancé during our sons birth. I was able to have a natural birth like we had planned and she is the one that got me through the contractions at the end. I am so thankful for you Da’raille. From my first conversation with Aida to the childbirth and newborn classes with Nancy, it was all a great experience and I always felt taken care of.
Leonora Dechtiar: I just had postpartum care from Central Carolina Doulas at the hospital after giving birth. Aida and Nancy were both wonderful, compassionate, and extremely professional and knowledgeable in helping me through those first couple of nights with baby after healing from a C-section. They were always available, good listening ears, never judgmental, always caring and kind. They helped with everything from breastfeeding to helping baby sleep so I could rest. If I could give them 6 stars or more I would. I am forever grateful for their help and their caring attention. It was worth every penny. I honestly would prefer to spend my money on this kind of service than anything else postpartum . It makes a huge difference in the beginning of my child's life and the postpartum experience which I feel will have a long term impacts for me, my baby, and my whole family. They also have a breastfeeding support team. What a great service they offer to the Fayetteville area ❤️ thank you thank you thank you my postpartum doula angels!
Jackielyn Dearing: I absolutely adore Central Carolina Doulas! I’ve used them twice! The first time I had an unmedicated hospital birth with Kristen and I truly believe I couldn’t have done it without an epidural without her calming energy. This time around I had Aida for our homebirth, who also encapsulated my placenta both times. She came to me right away in the middle of the night, immediately started counter pressure, helping me get into more comfortable positions, held my hands and talked me through the hardest parts, then made me and my toddlers something to eat after the birth. It truly felt like having the most supportive family there!
Ed Proenza: We had an excellent experience with Aida. She prepared me for what to expect during the whole birthing experience through the childbirth education course as well as the new born care course. Highly recommend for first time parents.
Matthew Deans: We loved our experience with Central Carolina Doulas. Our doula was very in tune to our needs, thoughtful, and very knowledgable. Before we even set foot into a birthing center or hospital, she was in contact with us, giving us exercises to implement into our daily schedules. She checked in frequently and made herself available whenver we reached out. When we were in the hospital, she was the perfect balance of support and comfort. By the end she felt like family! If you're on the fence about incoporating a doula into your birth plan/experience, lean into it! This made our birth experience a million times more pleasant, peaceful, and anxiety-free.
Jordan Downhour: We hired Central Carolina Doulas to be our doula agency for the birth of our 3rd child. Having a special needs child, we were both very anxious about having another bad hospital experience with no knowledge around us and no reliable sitter to care for our special needs child, along with our other child. First off; our birth doula, Aubrey, was AMAZING. This one star is not for her, because she deserves 10 stars. From start to finish she was communicative, responsive, and made my wife feel real comfort in her own body. She made the whole labor experience something magical, and was there every step of the way. The ONE STAR however, is for the owner, Aida. She lied to my wife when it was blatantly saved in a text message. We were very concerned about sitter care for our children, especially for our non-verbal special needs son. It was a very big priority for us to find reliable childcare as none of our family is close. Our primary childcare doula was changed three times and it always seemed to be scheduling issue. This probably should have been the first red flag, but we were reassured that everything would be okay. Aida sent a sitter out and we spent 4 of our 20 hours so that we could find a good fit for our children and someone who knew the crazy dynamic of our special needs son as a type of trial run. We loved our sitter, and we were comfortable with her. We really felt that if she was called in the middle of the night she would handle everything with ease, and we would have no concern. Fast forward to a few weeks later, my wife is at 37 weeks (at the point that Aida agreed to put her on the on-call list). My wife went ahead and contacted her doula and told her that she thought that it would be soon and Aida responded that she would have to send someone else out for sitter care, although we were on the on call list. Not the person that we were comfortable with. I had a phone conversation with Aida where she denied that she said that and she had it written down to put my wife on the on-call list at 38 weeks. This made us very uneasy to think that someone else would randomly be showing up at our home to care for our non-verbal, non-ambulatory special needs son, but Aida didn't seem to care. She seemed to only care about saving her own face during the midst of the call. We now have 12 hours of sitter care left that I don't care to even use. Good luck trying to get a point across to her, its a lost cause, she is the type of business owner that is never in the wrong. We spent $800 for 20 hours of childcare, and in total after labor only used 8 hours. So we are now out the $480. Not to mention, the night that my wife went into labor, a friend of mine made it here (Grays Creek) from Fort Bragg faster than the backup sitter who lived 10 minutes away. My wife never received a congratulatory text from Aida, she never received a follow up asking how was our experience, anything. I rarely leave reviews, but when it comes to the comfort, safety, and well-being of my children, I feel that this should be addressed.
Erica Denise Underwood Kool: Lovely care and lovely communication. While I wasn’t able to experience having a birth doula for my daughter’s birth, I felt confident going into the birth and into postpartum knowing that I had a support system to reach out to and assistance when/if I needed it. CCD has it all! They offer everything a birthing individual and their family may need. And while you are a client, you will feel like a friend. Aida and CCD always do their best to make sure you feel supported! And if they don’t offer something, they know someone who does!
Nejla Calvo: Aida Algarin was all you could ask for in a doula. She is so informed, professional, and handles her clients with the utmost care. Aida guided my partner and I through our first pregnancy with our daughter and we felt completely empowered with her support. We were able to make informed choices and ended up having a wonderful birth experience. Aida was also a sounding board postpartum and her newborn care class helped prepare us for handling our newborn. Her method peels away at the mystery surrounding birth, especially for us new parents. I highly recommend Aida and Central Carolina Doulas for your birth and postpartum needs!
Laurel Boyd: Central Carolina Doulas has been a key part of making our birth and postpartum experience a positive one. We are so grateful to have had their knowledge and expertise to guide us through pregnancy, birth and into postpartum. Aida has been flexible, understanding and so helpful every step of the way making sure we were well supported and connected with resources. Tori has been a great resource and support postpartum. We can't recommend them enough!
Leigh Anne McLean: Don’t struggle alone! When my family desperately needed help, and I was at my wit’s end, Aida, the owner, calmly talked me through the steps we could take to get the assistance we needed. It just so happened that school was closed the day I spoke with her and she was with her own children. She calmly explained to her children she needed a few moments to finish the call with me. This meant so much—knowing how she cared for her own children while conducting her business. She explained how her doulas and lactation experts could help. My daughter and her husband did indeed use Nancy for many weeks as they learned how to care for their new baby. I was sick at the time and couldn’t be near them or their newborn, so having Nancy was truly a gift from God! My daughter and her husband have also met with the lactation consultants who gave them so much wise and much-needed advice about latching, breast soreness, baby’s weight gain, etc. They also discovered the baby had a tongue-tie issue (which can interfere with latching, we learned) and gave advice about what to do and who to see to correct this problem. I would most highly recommend this company! Don’t delay if you are struggling—help is readily available! I am so grateful that this team of experts is right here in our community!
Sadie Abboud: I absolutely loved working with Aubrey! She was so friendly, caring and was definitely an asset to the birth process for our family. She was super easy to get in touch with and responded in a timely manner whenever I had questions. I was nervous to have another Unmedicated birth because I didn’t have a support team with my first baby but Aubrey was there for me every step of the way. I felt supported during the whole labor and sometimes, just hearing her tell me to breathe go me through to the next contraction. She was an absolute pleasure and I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a doula.
Karla Fasano: We had an amazing experience! We used Aida and Payton as sibling doulas for our girls when we went into labor. They went above and beyond to make sure we knew our girls were taken care of. Aida did extra things in our home that she didn’t have to and we were so thankful. She was also amazing at answering our calls and any questions we had. We will definitely be using her company again if we have another baby here.
Home Steadily: I recently had the pleasure of working with Aida and Brittni for my hospital birth. I unequivocally recommend them. If you are trying to decide on whether or not to have a doula present at your child's birth, do not hesitate.Aida was a tremendous resource from the first phone call. Hiring Central Carolina Doulas was the best decision I could have made for myself and baby. As a mother who wanted a professional and advocate available by my side, I could not be more pleased with my experience. Everyone is empowering, caring, understanding, and judgement-free. Their focus is you.Brittni made sure I was informed before my prenatal appointments, answered any questions I had, made very effective recommendations, helped me think ahead, and was the greatest asset in the room on delivery day. My unmedicated natural birth would not have been possible without Brittni and her support. She advocated for my wishes when I couldn't and went above and beyond in every way possible. Her skills, experience, and drive contributed to a delivery which was much shorter and easier than I ever expected.I am so grateful and thankful for you all. You are priceless.
Chloe Little: I literally cannot rate this high enough! These ladies are incredible and thanks to them I had the birth I wanted. I worked mostly with Brittni and she was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend working with these ladies. They are so empowering and understanding. Cannot say enough good things about them!!! Will absolutely go to again during my next pregnancy. All around just amazing!
Claire Hillan: We worked with both Kristen and Brittni for the October 2021 birth of our first child. Both of them, and Aida, were amazing. They were knowledgeable, compassionate, and supportive. On the day I went into labor Kristen ended up needing an emergency surgery so Brittni came to the rescue as our back up. It was so great to get to know both of them in advance and take advantage of both their knowledge bases and styles. My spouse and I felt reassured and relieved to have a calming person present who knew our wishes and could advocate for us. And Brittni helped immensely to keep my spirits up while I spent 4 hours pushing an OP baby and I credit the doulas for giving me the confidence to accomplish a vaginal delivery.
Kim: We feel so lucky to have found Central Carolina Doulas! I could tell that they were the right choice within the first few minutes of my phone conversation with Aida! In just one phone call she provided so much of the reassurance and support that I needed and that I felt was lacking at that time in my pregnancy journey. I knew I had to go with her team! She said she knew just the doula for me from her team and she was so right. Brittni was a great match for me! She was so patient and sweet and was always there to provide me with any support I needed or any question or concern I needed addressed. Really she was great for both me and my hubby because she helped so much with preparing for the big day that my husband knew exactly what to do and the best way to support me thanks to her. I honestly don't think things would've gone as smoothly for the birth if it were not for Brittni and I recommend her and Aida to anyone who asks!!
Matthew Hood: Because of recent covid policy updates at Womack, we were unable to go through with our original plan to have in person doula support at our birth. However, I will say that after contacting and interviewing 4 total agencies/doulas, I was extremely encouraged and impressed with Central Carolina Doulas. This agency is the perfect blend of warm and professional, something I found hard to come by in the other agencies/doulas I interviewed. Aida and her team of doulas are all extremely personable and definitely give you the time of day to express your desires and concerns, while at the same time maintaining a level of professionalism that leaves you feeling confident in your investment. Everything about their contract, what was included, what the costs were for each service, etc. was very clearly communicated. Aida and Kristen (the doula I was assigned) were both extremely accessible as well whether that was through text, call, or email, which was something of the utmost importance to me for this role. I am disappointed that our original birth plan cannot come to fruition due to hospital covid policies, but I am left very pleased with the quality of service I have been given up until now. Highly recommend Central Carolina Doulas!

Cape Fear Valley Ob/Gyn: what do users think?
mary ambachew: The nurse manager did not care how much in pain I was even if i was existing patient. NO pain medication, NO emergency care, and NO empathy. The worst experience ever. I see they HAVE LOTS OF BAD REVIEW . We need to inform the board about there emergency care and the nurse manager.
Reina Chavez: If you’re looking for the worst prenatal care in all of Fayetteville, then this is your place.
Jimea Wendel: Unless you want to be judged and treated with no respect I wouldn’t go here !
Rocio Morillo: Literally the most unprofessional clinic I’ve ever been too ! No one ever answers the phone and they are very disorganized with everything !!!
Nesha M: If I could give zero stars I would! There’s a lack of concern from the Doctors, and staff. I could write an entire chapter on the things I experienced. Just stay away!
Kiarra Legette: I went a couple of weeks back and had a horrible experience with labs. When I returned the same lady wasn’t there and I’m so glad. Ashley (the main phlebotomist) let me know she was out on vacation the day I had the bad experience . I am sooooo thankful for her I didn’t feel a thing and everything was quick! Ask for Ashley if you ever have to give labs she is the BEST !
Ashley Cable: Complete waste of time. The Dr didn’t answer a single question, did not address a single concern, and did nothing to address the current problems i’m facing. When I inquired about a hysterectomy I was completely blown off without reason. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience.
Alex Coleman: Left crying.
Bruna Oliveira: I really hope the doctors read this. You don't need to care about me, but you should at least fake it. I have zero confidence with the doctors at this clinic. Apparently, you cannot have one doctor, you are obligated to rotate doctors.. which for me it means you will never build a doctor/patiente relationship, you will never trust them because you don't know them. When the doctor come to the room, they are always in a rush, they do not give you any information. When I asked my doctor a question she asked if I didn't receive the pregnancy packet.. they give you a bunch of papers so you won't ask them any questions. They don't care about your concern.I left my last appt crying and decided to go with a different clinic. I am not putting myself and my daughter's life in their hands. I have zero trust in these doctors.
Halee Rodriguez: Would love to bring attention to Ashley in labs! She is super sweet, super professional, and all around wonderful at her job! Coming from someone who hates needles I can honestly say she made the whole experience a breeze.
Brody Johnson: I would not recommend this place. We have had problems since before starting here. It took 2 months of calling just to get an appointment with them for pregnancy. We had been seen previously but were moving so we had to find someone else. Had to schedule the first appointment as the 18 week appointment and anatomy scan. At the first appointment (which was supposed to be an anatomy scan and OB appointment), the wait was over 2 hours just to see the doctor for 5 minutes and then be discharged. The doctor did not listen to any of the concerns or anything said and the anatomy scan did not happen. The next appointment a month later was slightly better but the technician doing the anatomy scan spent 10 minutes when we were told to be prepared for a 45 minute ultrasound. She didn’t even get all of the views needed and we were told we would have to come back. We spent maybe 5-10 minutes talking to the doctor who made us feel like idiots for asking questions. When going to schedule the follow up appointment and anatomy scan (again), the receptionist ended up scheduling it incorrectly but we didn’t know until we received a phone call a week later saying to call and schedule the scan. Well we called right after that and we were told we would have to change dates (over a month from the original appointment date) if we wanted it scheduled correctly. The receptionist said she would speak to the ultrasound technician about squeezing us in for the views missed and call us back. We never received a phone call. Went to follow up the following Monday and the receptionist we spoke with told us we could schedule separately for the appointments. We explained that we cannot do that and the person who scheduled the original appointment messed up and we had to do it that day. This receptionist again took down our number and said we would get a call back. The amount of frustration and stress this place has put us through is ridiculous at this point. This is the only option for an obgyn that we have since nobody else will take a new patient this far along in pregnancy. I wish we switched to someone else sooner so our time wouldn’t have been wasted by this place. Not to mention they have you sign up for the MyChart app and tell you to ask questions through there if you have them but then nobody responds to them. We asked a medical question and ended up have to go to an urgent care after a week because we didn’t get a response and calling to ask doesn’t get you anywhere either.
Challanger 1988 (I.A): Cheap and lazy doctors, No attention for patientsAll about money & AppointmentsI don’t recommend at all
Danielle Braimah: The wait time could improve but nurse Vonnie was very professional and enjoyable. She made the experience bearable.
Tiera Benjamin: Ashley M. has been an amazing help with all my lab visits! She was very welcoming and always had a positive attitude when servicing me. Great personality and very up beat!
Nastasia Williams: If always a speedy visit with caring people here.
Jessica Luck: Dr Fauzia Baqai performed a membrane sweep without my consent. I was 40w3d and asked for a cervical check. With her hand inside me, she said "and I just went ahead and did a membrane check to get things moving". She did not explain what it was even after. I was never told or asked, until it was already done. I did not want one done, and what she did was ASSAULT.
DaRyte Spot: Dozetta is a true asset to this clinic. I called in to get info on the clinic, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm reception. I think I found my happy place. Thank you for employing such a gem.
Amanda Fricker: This was my first time visiting this OB/GYN and I won’t be back. I showed up at 2:45 for my 3:00 appointment, checked in, was given paperwork in which I signed and gave back and was told to be seated and I waited an hour and 15 minutes and when I went up there to ask how long it was going to be, the front desk said that I was never checked in and that I needed to be rescheduled. I would rather go somewhere else!
M C: This was my first time here my appointment was at 3 I arrived at 2:40 let the receptionist know that the kiosk wouldn’t let me check in told her my name she said she had me check in have a seat they would call me back a hour passed and I’m still waiting I go back and ask her do she know why it was taking so long she goes and ask me all the same questions over just to say she marked me as a no show! How is that when I’ve been waiting for a hour she then says oh you have to come back I can’t get anyone to see you I refused then she goes to tell me i was there on the wrong date which I tell her that’s not true she argues me down about how I’m wrong my appointment is on another day I was so frustrated I left. the next day the appointment reminder person calls me I asked her can she look at previous appointments told her what happened she told me that the receptionist did in fact change my appointment and I was there on the correct day and time. I was so upset because not only did she loud talk me and embarrass me in front of the lobby full of people saying I was wrong when In all actuality she was wrong unprofessional and unethical! All she had to say was I’m sorry ma’am I forgot to mark you here for your appointment it’s a honest mistake but she lied and humiliated me due to her mistake
NiqNiq Nicole: Dr. Walker was very pleasant, patient, understanding and gentle. The entire staff was very nice especially Ms. Nancy!
Kendra Jefferson: I can’t never get anybody on the phone to make a appointment or get test results. I called all day once just to check on my test results and when someone finally did get on the phone all you can hear is the young lady laughing and talking. Cape fear valley anything is just a mess.

LATCH Breastfeeding and Postpartum Wellness Center: what do users think?
Becca Cavaleri: Last year we had discovered our infant had a pretty big tongue and lip tie that was causing a lot of frustration and pain for him. His pediatrician first referred us to another place that I will not name (but the man who worked there was a quack). I finally got a referral to go see Sarah, and she was amazing!! She actually listened to my concerns and because I exclusively pumped she even figured out that I was using the wrong size nipple flanges. We ended up getting the tongue tie surgery done which I went into knowing 100% that's what I wanted done. We just discovered my 1 month old also has a big tongue and lip tie, and I made sure the pediatrician put in the referral to go to LATCH and Village Family Dental.
Marissa Gastineau: When my now 20 month old was a week old, we found out he had a tongue and lip tie by his pediatrician. We were directed to an ENT that “resolved” the issue with scissors and us being first time parents thought this would allow my son to nurse. Not the case. The following week we met with Sarah, who is 1.5 hours away, because she came highly recommended from a close friend and she didn’t disappoint. We met with her two times and she helped with latching, pumping/sizing, and educated us about body work and looking into a complete revision(using lasers) for our sons tongue tie.Her guidance and knowledge about seeing our story as a full picture truly helped us in our breastfeeding journey. At 3 months we were able to exclusively nurse and we were able to to do so until he was 18 months old. I’m so blessed to have had her help us in the beginning and that I got to share in this beautiful relationship with my son for over a year. Sarah is an expert in her field and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
Erika Lil: I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Madison at Latch. My baby struggled with breastfeeding from birth and I was able to see Madison when he was only a week old. Madison quickly identified what could be the problem and gave us exercises to work on to help resolve it, and after 2 months of work he finally started breastfeeding! Of course this was an amazing outcome, but what i appreciated most about Madison was that first appointment she saw how much i was struggling with trying to feed my baby and she reassured me breastfeeding was a learning journey for us and it was okay if we had to feed from bottles while we were learning. Her calm and knowledgeable, individual approach to our issue was incredibly reassuring and was exactly what i needed for both my baby's health and my mental health. I would recommend her and latch to anyone who is struggling with breastfeeding.
Stephanie Heikkinen: My only regret is not reaching out to LATCH sooner. Madison was so wonderful to work with - knowledgeable, nonjudgmental, and relatable. She immediately caught that a tongue tie was causing feeding issues. She came up with a more feasible feeding plan while we worked out the kinks and now I’m able to breastfeed without issue. I highly recommend LATCH if you’re struggling with breastfeeding at all.
Olivia Kuester Yen: I felt that we reached the end of our journey with Latch when I decided not to have a tongue tie procedure performed on my baby and to pump exclusively. I was somewhat concerned when I went to village dental to see Sarah also worked there. I felt it was a conflict of interest, although I realize these offices do need consultants to help with patients and this might not be uncommon. It just didn’t sit well with me.I was not pleased that the flange evaluation was visual only. They didn’t size me, which HAS to be done for anyone deciding to pump. I was told due to my inflammation levels to use a size 24. I’ve found out since I’m actually a size 17 and I’m so much more comfortable. It seems like if you’re not nursing, they’re not interested. I’m not saying they’re all bad - I learned a lot from them initially. Just make sure to always get another opinion if you feel like you’re not meeting your breast feeding goals.
Mary Jefferson: I do not recommend Latch unless you want to be given a laundry list of things that are wrong with your baby. It is a very negative environment. I had a very upsetting experience working with Sarah and left in tears after being told I need to learn how to “regulate my nervous system”. My baby was screaming and becoming increasingly uncomfortable while Sarah was working with her and I was becoming uncomfortable, as well (who wants to see their baby scream?!). Sarah told my husband and I that we need to work on letting our baby get uncomfortable. She’s 11 weeks old. Sorry, but infants don’t need to be uncomfortable and screaming to help them “grow” as she said. Sarah gives very little encouragement and only seems to focus on everything “wrong” with your baby/what you are doing. Someone who can’t have any empathy for a first time mom (or any mom) shouldn’t work with children. I would take anything she says with a grain of salt. My baby has a tongue and lip tie but has been exclusively breastfeeding with absolutely no issues since birth and gaining weight perfectly. We were not planning on getting her ties revised anytime soon, but Sarah told me that “if I couldn’t handle watching my baby get upset there, then I shouldn’t have the procedure done” which I thought was incredibly rude to say to a young, new mom. She provides no emotional support and will just send you home with videos and a list of stretches/massages. On top of all of this, I encourage everyone to do their own research on lactation consultants as a profession. There is no medical degree or qualifications other than a science degree and a 90 hour course— the fact that they diagnose and make such strong statements regarding a baby’s health is almost worrisome. Strongly do not recommend this place.
Jacqueline Boyle: Let me save you a trip to LATCH - Sarah will tell you that your baby has a tongue and/or lip tie and refer you to Village Dental, where she also works, to get a revision. Do yourself a favor and get an evaluation from someone who doesn't have such a vested interest in lasering into your newborn's mouth.
Theresa Sponseller: I booked a prenatal consultation with Sarah and as a first time mother, I can’t say thank you enough! She was knowledgeable and patient with me. She made me feel empowered and safe. So naturally, I returned with my precious baby once she arrived, where she again made me feel like everything was okay. She guided me and provided me with take home material. I continued with her until my family moved out of state. My confidence in her however, exceeded state lines. I recommended her to friends (and continue to) and even reached out after moving. Sarah is a powerhouse and I’m grateful to have had her as part of my breastfeeding journey.
Courtney Britt: When I was alone with a newborn and a toddler struggling to keep my youngest fed, Sarah went out of her way, on her personal time to figure out what was causing so much stress. Immediately we booked an appointment for a frenectomy with Dr. Guy and very soon my youngest was gaining the weight he couldn't gain before.
Allissa isner: The first 2 months of my daughters life were so hard before we met Sarah. She was constantly biting me while nursing and screaming almost all day from her nursing troubles. It took an hour to nurse her every time. The hospital lactation consultant’s kept telling me she was fine and just to “push her chin down” and that if she had a tongue tie at all it was minimal. I kept saying “surely this is not normal and not all babies have to deal with this” but no one would listen to me until Sarah. She was my first baby and I didn’t know what I was supposed to be looking for. After 5 weeks of torture for all involved we hired Sarah, within a few minutes of her evaluation we found out that not only did my daughter have a pretty severe tongue tie, she also had a lip tie, and the roof of her mouth was also very deep. She set us up to have her revision and helped us through every step of the way after for Anna’s healing. After her revision healed she was a whole new baby so happy and eating well! To this day 4 years later Sarah still keeps up with us. I adore her and I can’t thank her enough for changing our lives with her care and attention to detail for her clients. I will forever recommend her.
Kendall Keeter: My baby was born needing so much help with breastfeeding. Sarah got us in quickly, she validated my concerns and helped me so much before, during and after my daughter’s tongue tie release. I felt listened to and supported. I even reached out via portal message many months after asking about another provider in their office and she got back to me in a timely manner. I really feel like she cared for my baby’s well being and my own.Sarah is truly great at what she does.
Corey Wingate: Sarah has helped me with two of my breastfeeding babies, and she is simply the best. In fact with my last baby I chose to have a virtual appointment with her from literally across the country rather than see someone local to me. She is so knowledgeable and helpful and even on video she is able to give great advice. My third baby would never have successfully breastfed without her guidance. She spent many hours with us and was able to direct us to the right provider to diagnose and fix his ties. Thank you so much to Sarah and the whole team at LATCH!!
Kdee B: Absolutely life changing! My twins had lip and tongue tie surgery and I also see a postpartum therapist and my life has been changed for the better. I cannot say enough good things about latch and their staff!
Beth Phillips: After 5 months of slow growth and 5 months of mastitis and continually being told everything was “fine” by doctors and hospital consultants, I finally reached out to Sarah. We were able to get the proper diagnosis and excellent support from her team. My mastitis never came back, baby thrived, and we had an excellent nursing relationship past the age of 2.With my second, I scheduled our appointment with her as soon as he was born so we could get the support we needed immediately. What’s better, is I never had to deal with any billing difficulties during this time. They have everything you need to give you support. I highly recommend seeing Sarah and her team. They are experts and extremely knowledgeable in this field.
katelyn henderson: As a first time mom, I’m full of questions. The ladies here were so helpful and kind. I learned so much in just a few hours with them. I can’t wait to work with them more in the future.
Shelby Johnson: Sarah was exactly what we needed when we didn't know we needed it. When our pediatrician claimed our son's ties were no big deal she helped us to understand the major effects they were really having on our son. She pointed us in the right direction for help with the issues steming from his tongue and lip tie. I only wish I had known to see her sooner. With our next baby we will be scheduling a visit shortly after birth!
Christy Uhrig: Sarah is absolutely amazing at what she does. She is so helpful in the process of diagnosing ties and referring and helping through the process of everything involved including tummy time. Referring out to body work and chiropractic care if necessary and sees you and your little through the whole release process and aftercare appointments. I wish this type of care was available everywhere but we definitely got lucky finding it here. Thank you Sarah. Also if you need someone to talk to I highlyRecommend Cynthia she is very kind and comforting.
Megan Leonard: Sarah was so wonderful and had such an impact on my breastfeeding journey! I was very close to quitting breastfeeding when my pediatrician recommended I stop and go straight to formula when my baby was 1 month old. But then I saw Sarah and she showed me that he was eating the amount he needed during a weighted feeding. She’s a great listener and very thorough in her assessments. I can’t recommend her enough and now I’ve been breastfeeding for 6 months!
Jennifer Boggs: With my second child I thought I was prepared enough to do everything right, but he wasn't latching properly and weight gain was not happening. I followed a recommendation and booked an appointment with Sarah at LATCH. it has made all the difference. I found out that my son had a tongue and lip tie, and was able to get it revised. Not once in the hospital did the LC's try to do an oral evaluation. They just focused on his latch and suggested I try different feeding positions. I drive an hour and a half one way for each appointment, and it is worth every minute of every commute. She is a dedicated professional who doesn't rush you through the appointment, provides evidence-based information, leaves you with a care plan that she has demonstrated the moves at the appointment, and also has proper flange/flange inserts on site in case you're not the size that your pump company sends out. She is much more than this review can contain, so if you have a baby, make the trip to get the help.
Lindsey Lane: Sarah was so helpful in assisting us in our Breast Feeding journey. After a disastrous try at nursing with my first, I was committed to getting better support with my second baby. Sarah set us up for success, first by recognizing that we needed to consult with a pediatric dentist to address a tongue and lip tie. Secondly, she empowered me with the tools I needed and most importantly the reassurance that I needed to get through the hard parts. Who knew Nursing shouldn’t be painful? I feel so much more confident now. She was amazing and I’m so glad to have such an invaluable resource in our community. Breast.Feeding.Shouldn’t.Hurt. Go see Sarah and address the issues!
Catriona Billet: Sarah is so knowledgeable in her field it’s amazing. She has a tip or trick for everything, and her patience is something I wish I had! I am so thankful for her and LATCH’s help with my baby girl, I don’t even know where we would be without them!
