Breathing Space: what do users think?
foto chap: Breathing Space offers several services, and all are reputable by folks who frequent this establishment. I have taken yoga classes and experienced the monthly Kirtans, particularly distinct from all yoga studios in the region. The call and response singing is a wonderful, emotive practice, with the resonance of voice, percussion, strings and the warmth of the harmonium charging the room and participants into a blissful state. This practice also known as Bhakti yoga lives humbly yet strong here. And the yoga classes are excellent. Lisa Lofthouse meets the students where they are, and knows how to orchestrate a session everyone will benefit from. Breathing Space provides counseling services and massage, in a small, intimate space with a home atmosphere. It's a great space to introduce to a friend wanting to try yoga especially to relieve stress and tension. This is a gem of a place indeed.
Silhouette Mama: Lisa is the most amazing instructor and makes you really feel important. She helps ease your mind and helps you to communicate with fully with yourself. Some instructors just go through the steps but she actual helps you to figure out your individual needs and how to get there. Thank you Lisa
Kelsey Kennard: Breathing Space is a small building, but very nice and comfortable. I got a Brazilian wax. Carol was very friendly and professional. She makes it very comfortable. I am going to definitely go back. Great work! I am very happy with the outcome.

Guiding Wellness Institute: what do users think?
Billy: This was my first time using an immersion therapy pool and the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff assisted through each step of the process. This was an excellent place to be introduced to the process.
Judy Gordon: Such wonderful people. I visited for a Rolfing Massage with Mike and he is amazing. Stayed for the chair yoga class with Mimi which is always good. What a great way to start my Day.
Anne Lee: Guiding Wellness offers so many individualized and group services to help you keep a more balanced and healthy life. My very favorite place to go where everyone truly cares for your health and well-being!
Anju Gurung: GW is by far the best Yoga studio ever. Me and my brother love to come here for yoga sessions and massages.Mimi is a sweetheart and very skilled at what she does. She always listens to her client’s concerns & requests, goes above & beyond to make your yoga sessions very therapeutic.Another big shoutout to Alexis, the massage therapist at Guiding Wellness. She’s phenomenal and very good at her work. Thank you guys so much !!
L R: I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is so relaxing and feels like home. It’s also decorated beautifully. I’ve had the 2 massages and flotation therapy so far and both have been amazing. I highly recommend this establishment and I can’t wait to come back to try more services.
Melanie Shorter: My massage by Alexis Jarvis was heavenly. She really knows what she is doing. The space is absolutely peaceful and the staff is friendly and caring.
Lorna Ricotta: Coral Esparza is a gifted massage therapist. She has helped relieve my back pain. Guiding Wellness offers a welcoming, clean, safe space to focus on wellness. I appreciate the mindfulness of details, treatments, policies, trainings, and the atmosphere.
Richard Kaplan: This ROLFing technique is AMAZING!!!! I have tried many many different holistic approaches to healing my 44y/o body and this has been the one with the best results
Meghan Sikes: I saw Mike for Rolfing. I did the 10 session series and have waited until the end to leave a review. What prompted me to look into Rolfing was the dead end that typical medical practice brings you to when you’re in my boat: bulging disc in lumbar spine, too young and not bad enough for surgery but too interested in weightlifting and health/wellness to accept the “you can have this drug and if that doesn’t work we can inject this drug. Neither will heal you.”I had already done a round of physical therapy with a sports PT (I certainly learned some helpful things in regards to lifting but my underlying spinal issues were not resolved.) Someone mentioned myofascial release to me and my search for someone local led me to find Freedom Rolfing online and get set up at the GWI for some Rolfing sessions. Now I did my research first and was bummed to not see many reviews specific to Rolfing so I’m determined to make mine helpful! Something I noticed while searching through Reddit threads was that reviews about Rolfing were very polarized, with some people saying it’s a total scam and others saying it helped them so much. The more I read the more I realized the ones calling it a scam hadn’t actually experienced it themselves and all seemed to be referencing the same wiki article….interesting. But I did find many a sufferer of bulging discs or spinal issues sharing that it had helped them. I’m happy to be one of those people.Spinal issues heal slowly and mine is maybe slower because I’m always testing my limits. My spine is not healed, but it does feel on its way. Each session was very fascinating to me and it was so cool to actually feel the difference when a creak or pop disappeared, or range of motion opened up, or my body felt lengthened in ways….I feel more comfortable in my body. More aware of my internal structure and how it all works together (or against itself). My body feels like it moves more harmoniously. It’s hard to explain and describe without writing a novel, but if you’re desperate for something and other approaches aren’t working….what’s to lose? My theory was that I’ll pay for my back issues in one way or another. I’d rather pay by laying on a table and letting my fascia and CNS get worked on than by being in a drugged stupor and unable to lift weight. Also, the staff at GWI are all very kind, the atmosphere is warm, and Mike is a very knowledgeable, pleasant, and friendly person.
Kate Colonna: Walking in I felt like I was home! The way Guiding Wellness is set up just exudes peaceful and welcoming energy. I truly felt lighter just stepping into the atmosphere. Julia, who was working the front desk, was a beautiful soul! She took the time to give me a full tour, answer any and all questions I had (there were a lot) and just take some time to get to know me in general. She gave detailed instructions on how to best utilize the float service and was patient when I asked for further instruction. I decided to become a member and even sign up for a day retreat and I CANNOT wait to go back and enjoy all Guiding Wellness has to offer!
Kelsey Budge: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI felt so welcomed and supported! I absolutely loved the whole experience! The flotation suite was beautiful and I had such a fun, yet calming time while floating. After getting out, I noticed my muscles had relaxed so much that I could feel the weight of my bones and support of my skeletal system! So cool! Can’t wait to go back!!
Lindsey Paredes: Lindsey Lawrence is a great hot yoga instructor. Her tempo allows for yogis of all skill set to partake in her class at their own pace.
Lise Glazier: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityStaff is welcoming, making me feel most comfortable. Aura is embracing.
Blandina Peterson: Kelsy is truly amazing, caring, perceptive, understanding, and very supportive. Her plethora of knowledge along with her vast clinical experience in wellness, mindfulness, creating balance, yoga and so much more is leading to making my best life even better! I know she is helping others improve their best lives too because I can see it in their smiles, which is a reflection of her bright, radiant, contagious smile she always has. Thanks so much Kelsy for all you do!
Rich S: Extremely polite and professional staff. Did a 60 minute float session and received a short tour of the facility. Would highly recommend.
Ellen Brooks: Every member of the Guiding Wellness team is a professional, a friend, a listener, a guide in some way. Every service is done with thorough care and passion. Kelsy’s vision permeates every aspect of this wellness home. Try Stephanie for an amazing tissue massage. Try floating, tai chi, yoga at any level, life coaching. Try anything and/or just go visit. You will be transformed.
Nikki Prentice: I've been going here for a few times now. Everything about this place is simply amazing..the staff is always smiling and inviting..Yesterday I received a Therapeutic Massage from Ms. Coral...and let's just say...she will see more of me...I highly recommend this place..also they have yoga classes, a Therapeutic Float Tank, Facials, Nutritional needs, personal coaching...and so much more..They are entuned with the community and the Veterans that live in the community 😀
Loud for stroud: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThis is the best holistic approach in the area very informative very understanding and very conscious of which route to take to better someone’s health I’m glad I chose you guys looking forward to the journey
Alejandro Godinez: Guiding Wellness has many services, all done with high quality and lots of understanding about the community it serves. There are many things I like about this space and the people who work and reside there. It's welcoming, encouraging to newcomers and experienced practitioners alike. The classes have a communal feel to them, as I have always been greeted by at least three staff members every visit, and that's beside the class instructor. Wellness depends on community. And that is what stands out about GW. Its dedication to karmic action through sangha: nourishing clients with a welcoming, genuinely compassionate approach in the spirit of communal health. This is a great place for anyone looking to practice, for self-care, wellness education, certification for teaching yoga and meditation from a therapeutic approach. It's a place you find necessary to frequent to help you cultivate wellness. Find out for yourself.
LISA POWELL: Guiding Wellness is a wonderful place to get information, knowledge and improved health. Kelsy will answer any question you have and give you the back up research so you can understand why an issue should be treated in a specific manner. I highly recommend Guiding Wellness.
Julia MacDonald: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Fayetteville Community Yoga: what do users think?
CORI SIMMS: I’ve received Colon hydrotherapy with Kelli. I have taken part in kundalini yoga with Kelli and some of the other ladies as teachers; every session/ class I’ve been part of I’m left with a feeling of release, of peacefulness and ease. I’ve never left that studio the same way I came in. The community of ladies and gentlemen I’ve met with my time there has been eye/heart opening. The warmth and kindness given and received is amazing.Thank you Kelli & Gang! 🏽✨
Neal Chester: I prepaid for a Friday Yoga class through their website. When I arrived, it was canceled without notification. I tried numerous times to get a refund, but the phone listed on the website didn't answer and the voicemail box was full. 22 days later the owner returned my email and refunded my money after I complained on Facebook. I hope they update their communication system.
Clare Tran Burnett: A really great, small, and kind environment where everyone is accepted and you feel at ease. All the instructors are professionals, to include the massage, infrared, and reflexology professionals. Love this space and love the energy!
Brandi Bronson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThis studio is my home away from home! So peaceful and inviting. The teachers are very knowledgeable and I love the variety of classes that are offered! I def recommend checking them out and at a great price.
Air Christie: Fayetteville Community Yoga has changed my life in wonderful ways! The teachers are incredible & community is wonderful. I am a life time student & instructor of yoga. FCY is where I found a place where; I am able to let go get lost going inward on my mat, met a community that is truly is supportive, and found a place that brings more abundance than just yoga. I have met friends I care for deeply, a place a natural healing, I learn something each class, & so much more. Kundalini has bought so much light to my life, transforming me to be a student and teacher as well. I look forward to going each week, It’s my little slice of paradise! Thank you so much FYC for being all of this & more for the community.
Brianna Thompson: Positive:Professionalism,QualityThe teachers here are all very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do! There are various kinds of classes here at an affordable price! I highly recommend this establishment for local yoga!

Shanti Wellness- Fayetteville Wellness Center: what do users think?
Khalil Younger: Float therapy was soooooo relaxing I will be going back.
Qiandrea Younger: Very unsanitary. I requested my first appointment be rescheduled for a later date due to finding hair in the float tank. Decided to give them a chance to do better and properly sanitize because I still wanted to try the experience. Second time, I found multiple strands of hair in the shower, float tank and coming off of “clean” towels
William Bailey: If your looking for a couples experience this is not the place. Twice i booked a couples float and massage and both times were cancelled the day before the appointment. When I inquired about getting a refund, they only give credit for another service. I was told the manager would call but it’s been two weeks now and nothing. The desk attendant was nice and tried to help.
K. Christian Ayres Hernandez: I’m a little disappointed with the quality of service or lack there of. I booked an appointment last week on the 2nd for Jan 7th and i arrived for my appointment today and mysteriously the appointment wasn’t booked. I’ve heard such great things about fayetteville wellness center which why i drive from Southern Pines but today was the absolute last straw. I don’t recommend coming here unless you are looking for something quick — if you’re looking for an experience this is not the place for you.
Christale W: Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Loved it
Johnnie Coleman: One of the best experiences of my life. I have been singing their praises since I left. Definitely gonna return for more.
Stanley Shaparnis: I did the float and it was AMAZING! I go there for massages and Anne is my girl. She is a tiny little thing, but dont be fooled. She put those hands on you and BAM, magic happens.
lisa Wander: They are ok with adults, not patient with 5 year old calm children.
Raymie Day: I absolutely love going to the wellness center! Not only do I float and have one of the most relaxing times but I have also started doing their cryo-skin appointments. The staff is top notch and are always welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this place! Make sure you check it out!
Ashley Davis: Andrew was amazing. He knew how to get the deep knots in my shoulders. I’m glad I added the cups because it was the best combination and I left there in bliss. It’s hard to find someone that can read your body and the pressure he used was perfect. I’m hooked.
Will Johnson: I had a float a few days ago, very relaxing. Easy experience with reception and scheduling was quick and easy. Will return for more relaxation. Thanks!
Mystery Man: I have had a lot of massages. The one I had at Floating Shanti was decent, but overpriced. I have only floated a few other times, all in the pod-style tank. If you are looking for a sensory deprivation experience (which is what they advertise), this is not the place for you.Their float rooms are definitely NOT sound proof. I don't wear hearing aids...yet...but I do have some hearing loss. So, if I say the room is not soundproof, it isn't. They do have excellent wax earplugs, which I used, but I could still vaguely hear people talking, louder when floating (ears under water) than if I sat up. It would go quite, I would get into the groove, and then I would hear talking again...and again...Also, the room was probably 2 degrees cooler than the tank. I know, that doesn't sound like a lot, but when the idea is sensory deprivation and your body above the water is a couple of degrees cooler, it is noticeable and not what I would call sensory deprivation. The shower had VERY low water pressure and never got hot, only luke-warm. When you finish your float, shower and dry off...there is no chair or stool to use when getting dressed. The rooms I used seemed cheaply built. For the price I expected more.If you like the place, you better go a lot. Otherwise I don't think they will last very long!
Gina Felt: I definitely had placed my complaint about dollar General on floating shanti... I am so sorry.. I cannot wait to try floating shanti.
Victor Johnston: The requirement to keep a credit card on file is a deterrent to me, but the facility is always wonderful and the owner is very engaging and friendly.
Markie Straub: Amazing place that has enhanced my mind, body and spirit. I feel so much more relaxed and ready to tackle the day after just one float and a massage!! I’ll be back for more.
Latisha McNeill: A Mindfulness Heaven!
James Everette: Still delicious as always!
Regina Evans: Awesome
Cirah Wilkinson: Amazing!! Norelle gave the best massage
David Flynn: Amazing place! I booked a 1 hour massage and a 1 hour float back to back. That is the order I would choose to do again. The massage was great and the therapist took time to listen to me and cater the massage to my needs. The float was a extremely peaceful experience. Can't wait to go back.
Mary Shannon: I was so excited to find a place like this in Fayetteville. I suffer from migraines, tension headaches, and a severe shoulder and neck injury that has exacerbated everything. The floating is an amazing experience. Afterwards you feel so relaxed and cleansed. My muscles immediately relaxed in the water. Every massage therapist I’ve seen there has been amazing! They’ve been so attentive with me. I go to PT weekly for my shoulder injury I can honestly say this place has helped more than PT alone. Between this place and seeing a chiro I am 100% on the mend! I would recommend this to anyone. Invest in your health!
