Chris Wheeler: Almost all of my reviews are negative. I guess it's because when my expectations are met, it doesn't occur to me to work s review that days, "meets expectations." That's still true, because Cycle Gear has not only never let me down, but they've always exceeded my expectations. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and outgoing. They accept returns from online purchases (which is what brings me to their store). They offer military discounts (which will bring me back to their store). The only issue I have is that their in-store selection is small. I have no problem buying my motorcycle related stuff from here, it's a great place.

Took it yesterday and DK knew what was wrong with it right away and fixed the problem. My husband had a problem with his cardio system and DK was very knowledge and knew what was wrong and fixed his problem right away.This young man had great attitude, very knowledgeable and gets the job done. Go see DK and Anthony for your cycle gear. Store is always clean and well stocked. If they don't have it they will order it for you.

Glenn Russell: These are results of what they claim is there A1 mechanic. This 2nd time Bike stayed in shop a month for insurance wreck claim & Radiator (warranty) change, Picked bike up. Got home. The fairings were not put back on correctly and the Allen wrench tools are missing.
Kayla Andrews: Alex Ramos helped me pick out my Can-Am Rally. The whole process was super smooth and relaxed. Not only was he super professional about the sale, he was a kick to talk to throughout the process. You can tell he's passionate about working there. Made the whole process fun and friendly. Definitely recommend at least a look at their inventory and work ethic. You won't regret it!

Zak Sweeney: Wow what a poor experience. I reached out to Alex from a Facebook listing and advised him of exactly what I was looking for and what I was looking to spend. After looking at their site I noticed the exact side by side I was looking for so I reached back out to Alex and he said it was available. The next day I submitted my credit application to them and he called me with a crazy monthly price on a 72 MO loan. Curious, I had him send me the break down and it did not disappoint, just like some other review noting crazy fees. On a fairly priced $21,500 used sxs they were trying to charge $1000 setup, $2200 warrenty, and $800 gap with an 11.5% 72mo loan for an A1 credit. I now have 3 hard inquiries on my credit and my data got sold to someone because now I'm getting random calls from people who know my name and address. They'll advertise one price but beware because it'll magically be 20% higher after they write up the deal. Thanks for the laughable deal and for selling my info Baker Motorsports!

the hybrid: I got the bike I wanted, at near the price that was reasonable, after a half hour of back and forth over disclosed fees vs payments amounts not adding up. The salesman WILL try to hide a 5 year warranty and oil changes for ~3000$ without disclosing it and rolling it into the final payment.Don't accept the hand written numbers, get the printout with all fees and total price, they bank on the customer not being able to do math.Edit:Spoke to Dave (owner) 2 days ago and was told he would "investigate" and get back to me later that day. Culminating the lack of response and reports from other customers of identical experiences a year prior to mine that it is in fact standard practice.
William Alderman: I have been doing business with Baker for 2.5 years and I once thought that it was the bet place to get parts and service done but as of late they are starting to make me wonder if I should continue. About a year ago I paid them to change a air filter on my 2002 Honda Goldwing and purchased the part from them. It was a aftermarket filter that was sold to me. I paid for the labor to have it done and did't think anything else about it. So I was doing some work on my bike that required me to remove the center console and remove the radio so I decided to check and see if it needed to be blown out or replace.Come to find out it still had the Honda OEM filter. The aftermarket filter was not put in and I was still charged the labor and for a filter that was not put in.

Jonathan Kyser: I drove from Alabama and picked up a 2014 dyna street bob back in October 2022. It's been an awesome bike! I ride it almost everyday and don't plan to stop. These guys will put you on 2 as quick and painless as possible. They're really good at what they do. It's like a tight family there. When we came to get the bike we got there before they opened. Sat in the parking lot for a little till people started showing up. They came out and offered to let us in before opening time. We got the opportunity to see them do their morning meeting which was super cool. 10 of 10, I'd buy another bike through these guys. Awesome people! No need to read other reviews. Just go get the bike you want!

Kent Irvin: Dealing with Flip My Cycle was one of the best dealership interactions I’ve ever had. None of the staff were pushy or overly invasive about selling a bike. At the same time, they were extremely user friendly and helpful. When I got there to test ride a “18 H-D Road Glide Ultra, The shop was about to close for the night, and they had already moved all of the bikes from outside to inside. Instead of telling me no, come back the following day, they moved all of the bikes out of the way to get the Harley out. When it came time to do all of the paperwork, I was at work and Treimain squared everything away so that when I got there all I had to do was sign the documentation and ride off. All I can say is thank you to everyone at FMC! If you’re looking for a new scoot, I personally recommend this place.

Carol Ebert: We got there a little late for an oil change on Saturday morning but we knew we were going to have to wait. We were told the guy would be there that washes the bike so we were expecting for that to happen too. Well the guy that washes bikes didn't show up. Unprofessional!! We were then told that they didn't have the oil filter we needed. Ok, for one thing you have a parts department, second after we were told no oil filter we checked other places and guess what. They had the filter we needed. So we did get the oil changed and they cleaned the filter we had. Not sure we will be back. Raleigh is further for us but they are more organized and this place.
Timothy Lewis: I called in to inquire about forms of payment and price on Polaris Ranger; I live in western Moore County and its a bit of a haul to drive there. Sales person was super friendly but ultimately provided some inaccurate information. Sales manager called back after over hearing conversation and was extremely helpful. He not only provided the information I requested, but was very professional and went above and beyond to earn my business.

Needed part was in stock at Megs sister store located in Wilmington another 2 1/2 hour drive after driving 2 1/2 hours from home to be told we were lied to this totaled to an 8 hour round trip for my husband and I after 2 weeks of waiting on part for it to be lost in shipping and not notified of this until the day before we were told originally we should have our atv completed with all repairs.Meg and her team jumped into action to help us locate the part needed and went the extra mile to ensure that part was indeed available before we wasted our time. The fact that the issues we were experiencing were no fault of their own Baker American Cycles made sure to make things right in any way they possibly could. Moses Seidi: Avoid by all means. Bough a new four wheeler and it broke within a month. I took it back several times and they always find an excuse to charge me and still not fix it right.They also know how to have you wait every time you go back so the customer ends up giving up. Which is what i finally did after getting tired from the back and forth trips and the wait and neglect every time I go.
Teto Sol: For service don't take your ATVs here. Absolutely horrible! They took 3 weeks total hen initially they said 3 days. Secondly they didn't adjust the valves of my 4wheeler correctly. It stopped working within 2 weeks. They didn't own up to it. They also crosswired my ignition switch and it will start in any gear. This ATVs only start in neutral for a safety reason. They messed that up and found out after 3 consecutive dead batteries. If i could give it 0 stars i would!

When my kids out grew those, he hrlped me sell them to a mom who couldn't afford new bikes for her kids. He's awesome to work with!!!!The bikes are Chinese, NOT the big 4 Japanese manufacturers. Do your research. Watch YouTube. They are great but you'll have to tinker with them from time to time.Adrian services what he sells, and has done great work on my Honda XR400R & Honda Rancher 400ES.When I'm in the market again, I'll see Adrian at ACE first!!!

Lost over four thousand on something that don’t work. Kids are disappointed and I’m out of my hard earned money. They sell stuff that looks decent, but does not work! Stay away!!!

If he happens to move and work at another Harley Davidson (or any dealership), I will go across the county just to purchase another bike from him. We all know or have had a horrible experience with dealerships and that's why some are called stealerships.Marcus spent a lot of time with me, answering all my questions, he sat and waited patiently as thought about what I really wanted to do. He talked about the features, the tech, what I could do the with the bike, and any future options I might have in mind. When it came time to finalize the purchase Marcus made me aware of everything, and if I had any questions later on to find him.For the service department.I purchased an SE turner for my bike, and I was not impressed. I lost performance instead of improving it. Ask for Allen. He spent a lot of time to dive deeper into my problem. He answered all of my questions, made me feel like a valued customer, and provided me with options without trying to sell me more stuff.Now I feel my bike is running as expected. No loss of torque and a gain in performance.I highly recommend speaking with Allen.Gunney (sp?). He has a wealth of knowledge! He can provide you an answer to any bike problem! I've asked him numerous questions and even though he is extremely busy, when he can, he'll take the time to help you. You can be confident in the quality of work you'll receive if he works on your bike (all the techs in the shop are great, I've mainly talked to Gunney). If your bike is older, or or the latest model request Gunney! In the conversations I've had with him he spoke about the multiple schools and training he's attended over the years to the latest update/current training available, the years he's worked on bikes (I think he said 50, haha. I'll hear about that comment next time I see him) and much more. I recommend that you go in to find out for yourself!The Parts Department team.Brian, John, Russ work with multiple customers and when they're helping you, it's all about you. Each one takes as much time you need in making your next purchase. They've showed me multiple items to help me make my vision come to life. If you want, need or need some information call or go in and talk to them.This is how customer service needs to be. Making you feel valued as a customer, not just another sell.

When I asked why, he became very nasty and disrespectful. Incredible... Whoever owns that franchise should talk to their people about courtesy and respect... Rest of the story: Found what I needed elsewhere at a competitor store where the same part was significantly less and the attendant was far more courteous. As my grandfather once said, a little respect goes a long way.
Skyley Stencil: Dallas was a lifesaver and helped me reorder my A/C compressor that somehow got lost in UPS!He was very diligent and friendly! He continued to keep in contact with me on any updates and made sure to hand it to me personally!
Pallidus Equus albus: This place is the worst O'Reilly in Fayetteville. I came their for coolant and ended up having to spend $125.00 for a part that one of the associates broke, then they tell me it's not their fault for them damaging my vehicle rendering it undrivable for 5hrs while I had to wait for my mechanic to fix the part in the parking lot of O'Reilly's.I will be filing a civil suit against this company for the damages done to my vehicle on the behalf of their employees as well as for pain and suffering, as well as for the financial impact it had on me and my family. As well as mechanic fees. That I had to payNever let anyone at this location touch your car or even walk in this place they will damage your vehicle and tell you it's not their fault. I think the general manager I talked to was Elizabeth and she was the one that lied to me and told me she couldn't do anything about it.
