BJ's Used Book Exchange: what do users think?
AA A: Beautiful souls work here! The finds are endless, unexpected, and wonderful. A diamond in the rough! From old classics to new age manga, and dvds; you’ll find what you want, need, and more!
Melissa D: A hidden gem, I can spend hours there! Has such good variety. Very helpful staff. Got these books for my son and are in great condition.
Aldo Carpe Diem: Friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Books are priced reasonably. Vintage books and comics.
Will G: Great store with hidden book treasures. Check them out for your college textbooks as well.
Hairologist76: The lady was helpful & polite.
Karen Haldeman: It may not look like a place with a lot of appeal. But the treasures inside were incredible! Games, maps, books, books, and more books. Children's, adults and so much more. Please stop by and explore!
Katie Dixon: I called, as I live in a smaller town and wanted some info and was greeted with so much information! Drove the hour, with my twin 1yr old boys and my 3yr old son as well. This family ran business made me feel so comfortable, they helped me with my children so I could really shop and look for some buried treasures! I’m beyond impressed with the caring staff, and how amazing you were helping keep my crazy toddlers entertained! Discovering this place has been a phenomenal experience and I can’t wait to load up my crew and come visit again soon! Personable experience and I feel like I made friends with that one visit! Something about fellow book lovers! ❤️
Malcolm Peguise: Huge inventory. I sold some books, and was well compensated.
Cianan Relgiah: Best book store in Fayetteville, NC hands down. Great family run business and excellent people. 10/10
Joseph Choate: Good selections and fair pricing. Helpful and kind.
Carole Fraze: Let me tell you, this place is a hidden gem. It’s a family that owns it and they are knowledgeable. If you’re looking for something they will contact you. The prices are good & they have a good variety, textbooks, manga, children’s, reference, uhmmm great horror section (my fave). Let’s keep them open & running.
Vanessa Grant: Loved what we found, and they have a little of everything for everyone!
Dawna Cockerham: Always a great experience shopping here! The owners are extremely kind and helpful. We turn to them anytime we are in need of a book or want to surprise ourselves or kids with a new read!
Regina Gunter: A great selection of books. Nancy and Wyman are so helpful in finding books. They go out of their way for you. Prices are wonderful, cheaper than most places I have been to. Will most definitely go again. Thank you both for your customer service.
Mark Chavis: They had a lot of books, the only issue is the cramped space when trying to look through the books, and the buildings a little run down.
Davy Jones: I haven't been to this store yet, but I am a small business owner and just wanted to say that I love ALL of your responses to the reviews.
Wanda Brayboy: Waste of time. It's run down, dirty and smelly. My first and LAST visit.
Paul Sit: I recently sold a bunch of books here, most were new books I got from B&N and not read and they gave me better credit than that other big used bookstore in town. Also BJs took them all in unlike the competitor who are extremely picky on what they buy. I have not tried selling any movies here yet but I imagine the experience will be the same.At the end of the day, whether selling or buying, this is a great used book store.
Dom Stacy (PI): I like this place
Katie Mahaney: The owners are especially helpful, prices very reasonable, and they have an excellent selection of books. I was entirely charmed and am excited to frequent this wonderful bookstore. I have kids aged teen to toddler and we all found excellent reading.
Robert: Love this store! Great selection and awesome service!! Check it out. You will love it too!

2nd & Charles: what do users think?
cheyenne goins: got all the good stuff but expensive🙂
William Parker: Where else can you find a huge selection of DVDs, CDs, Records, Books, Guitars, and Funko Pops? 2nd & Charles has it going on! I fell in love the first time I walked through the doors. I now try to go every time I'm in Fayetteville. There's something for everyone, especially if you are a music/ funko pop nerd like me!
chris taylor: Nice
Rene Nero: I don't get to visit often but they have a great selection.
M A: Video game prices are higher than eBay prices! Limited selection. Loud restrooms too.
Scottie Smith: I love going into these stores! Now that I'm in a city where there is one of these again... I go when I can to see if there are any new titles I want to explore by new authors found or favorites!
tyrika griffin: Love going here, my daughter is able to find many different books she's able to enjoy. The only thing is the buy 2 get 2 free practice. I assumed you would get 2 books free, but you just get cents taken off the 2 cheapest books. So therefore you actually pay for 4 books just not the original price.
Anissa Mitchell: This is the best place ever for cheap used books that are on good condition!!! I totally recommend this store for anyone who loves books!!😊
dale carter: Great game deals
David Schermerhorn: Neat pop culture store with friendly staff.
Kelton Jacobs: Amazing selection of books. Just great. A dream for book worms.
Paul Daughtry: Absolutely a great shop/ store. First time ever going. Laid out well, great for birthday/ Christmas gifts, comics, toys, and not as overpriced as some similar stores. Spent around 70.00 and was very happy with the novels I purchased.
Hairologist76: Great place to consign books.
Charisma Williams: reasonably price
Lance Moseley: A lot of junk to me. Old video games posters books . It was not for me on what I like. Things that didn't sell over the last ten years are here.
Joseph Choate: A Barnes and nobles wannabe except that it caters to gamers and non fiction readers
Caleb Smith: I come here for the graphic novel selection but there are tons of great things to choose from. Great book selections and good vintage video games to choose from.
Peter Marsh: Great place for finding things you didn't know you were looking for. Love finding used booms and movies for so cheap!
Ron Hemenway: Good place to sell and buy books and other things
Husby C: This was our first exposure to the chain. If you like nerding out, this is the place to shop. It is the TJ Maxx of nerdology (books, tabletop games, comics, music, D&D, and more). The only downsides are: they do not host gaming events from what I've seen and the MTG deal has uncommon cards at best but it it 50 cards for $5. It is a nice sized store with friendly staff. Give it a shot
A Mills: This is a large book store that also purchases books. There are good selections of CDs and LPs. Not the biggest variety but popular items. They have a variety of toys and collectibles. Books on all genres included. In the back is a clearance area for books and other items. This is a great store and very popular. I was there on Sunday and families and individuals both were there. Customers average. Store personnel not the most attentive or prompt. They do not have bags so bring your own bag for purchases. Prices are high on some items. Look carefully.

Barnes & Noble: what do users think?
Melody Farnham: Went there to get Harry Potter for my little man and to look at calendars. Staff was more than helpful in assisting in locating the calendar section. The atmosphere is always welcoming and relaxing.
Jamie Barillas: Always loved BN and even a member, however, whoever the girl with the shaved head who is heavier set with a septum piercing (there's literally only one and they purposefully covered their name tag) was absolutely rude as hell the other day when we're in there. Yelling at customers, horrible attitude, rolling eyes, sarcasm when talking to customers, rushing customers through the mine even those that had questions, talking down to customers, slamming books, I could go on. I'm not sure if it w as because it was 2 days before 4th of July and she had to work? I'm not sure if it's because she hates working there? Or if it's because the line was long? Either way, she's pretty terrible. Driving to Raleigh for BN sounds better than dealing with this garbage. If I can locate her name. I will update this review.
Nicodemous: Great Barnes & Nobles good selection of books, collectables, games, movies, music and kids toys. I always find something neat every visit. Not to mention they have a great Starbucks in house also.Definitely one of the best places to past the time in Fayetteville if your trying to have a relaxing day.
Christopher Rivas: Great place to browse for books.
William Parker: Been coming here for years, mainly for the great selection of music. I don't appreciate that they downsized it but there's still a bit of stuff to look through.
Lightsaber360: I love going into this store, even though it's so big, it feels like a cozy shop.
blaze woodruff: They sell books! 5 stars :)
Jim Squibb: Enjoyable place to shop
Summer Dobbins: Quiet and a great happy atmosphere!
MELISSA Dossantos: GO WOKE GO BROKE....BOYCOTTING
Cheryl Scott: Was unable to find a novel and asked a staff member and he walk me right to it only one was left and he checked me out with a very big smile
Michael Burke: Classic B&N atmosphere. Coffee Shop meets book store vibe.
Michelle S: We go here nearly weekly. Biggest frustration is that they let people spread out food and bags and stuff on the kids table, leave it there to take up seats and space but don’t actually sit, and don’t shoo them away. I’ve even complained and they didn’t do anything. The workers are often busy chatting to each other, personal conversations, rather than helping customers. It’s normal location, normal variety and good stock, but the service is less than stellar and they really need to do something about the kid section.
Al Taz: Only bookstore in Fayetteville. Store renovations are awesome! Looks totally different. Staff is helpful and friendly!
Momma Shelly: Lovely place to talk with friends and grab a bite at Starbucks and has great books
Green Girl: Mahrya is phenomenal! She is a barista at the Starbucks and was so kind, patient and attentive to my order and concerns. Went above and beyond, deserves the recognition.
Angelika Morgan: Sooo much of exciting merchandise I could not view all. Got what (and not) I needed and had an excellent shopping experience.
Thomas Viger: Very clean organized and friendly atmosphere
Nicholas Gardner: Seemed very unorganized and messy. Really think there should be a kiosk available to search for an author or specific books availability and location within the store.
chia eban: Love this cute place
Dereka Robinson-Jordan: Good experience, store manager went above and beyond for my mom.
