valarie vinet: Not being sure of what I needed, the attendant was very helpful, and patient. She gave me suggestions, as well as taking me to see the areas so that I could feel comfortable. Along with that she made sure I had locks, and that I was insured. When I left I had peace of mind that everything was good.
Eddie: Raised my monthly rate twice and I’ve only had the unit for 3-4 months. Ridiculous.
Todd: Expect bad rate hike after first agreement + lots of employee turnover. That was my typical experience with this facility while deployed, at a time I couldn’t do much about it. Ashamed as NC is generally very cool about supporting those that serve, but I initially paid ~$40 a month for storage, now paying $93. Couldn’t move it while I was away and no option to lock in cheaper annual or other rate. Horrible industry granted, but this company feeds on service members and is too quick with late payment fees (sometimes before the actual due date) and their website doesn’t make payments easy. Take 10% off while I significantly overcharge you? No thanks. Hope my stuff is still there… and after paying so much for it. I’ll get it out of this facility as soon as I return to US. I cannot recommend this storage facility.

conley lee: My only concern was I rented a controlled environment unit. I went by about 5 pm to look at sizes and check the temperature, it was 92° in the hallway. I was told they just had the unit fixed that day or day prior. I said I would come back the following day to see if it was any cooler. It was not;still 92° at 4pm when we went in and 93° when we left. The manager could not assure me that a follow-up call to corporate and/or repair company would be done and,if so,whether anything further COULD be done to get the temperature below 90°. That is not really acceptable for a unit that Is called 'climate controlled' !! I did rent the unit but am going to rent ANOTHER unit at a separate location to be sure my antique furniture is stored the best way possible. Each employee,David and Chrissy, were as nice,knowledgeable,and professional as you could hope for. Pleasure doing business at this location.

Darryl L: SecurCare is a very greedy company. They do not value their long time customers like myself who has been a customer for many years and rents multiple units. They increase the monthly rent every few months and do not take in consideration of how long a person has been a customer or how many units they are renting. After paying a price increase in rent one or two times they keep increasing the rent until I finally move out of one unit and into another one for the promotional monthly rent plus the first months rent free. I'm better off doing that since I save a lot of money and SecurCare is losing money since they will no longer be getting the increased rent that I was already paying and the next person who rents my old storage unit will be getting the cheaper promotional rent with the first months rent free. I've tried to contact the district supervisor to discuss the issue but she never returns my calls and does not want to deal with customers and their issues. Even though it is an aggravation to have to play musical chairs by moving out of one storage unit and into another to avoid the price increases, I will continue to do so until the company changes their prospective and starts treating their customers with the respect and acknowledgment they deserve. As with all businesses, it is the customers who keep them in business.

The climate was always controlled, clean and never any messes inside my unit or outside. I only removed my items after moving to a bigger place that had room for them. Thanks for keeping my items safe during the time. Appreciate the service and staff!

THE910JDAWG: Walking into a storage company I was really impressed. The agent on duty Brittany Ford was extremely friendly and showed she cared about her job . Although she had another customer in the office and the phone was constantly ringing, she still insisted to give me a tour of the facility since I didn’t quite know what size I needed. Also, I've been to other storage facilities, and this was the first one that I felt truly safe storing my items in. I will recommend this self storage company to my friends, and they will definitely recommend it to others! Brittany Ford made this experience easy and she definitely has a spectacular customer service gift.

A.M. Valcarcel: I don't know why 95% of the times I come by for a question, payment, or just drive by on my way in our out of my unit, the office is closed.Makes no sense. I needed a mailbox but there's no way I'm going to spend my money on a mailbox that isn't accessible.Response:Thank you for the response. But the problem is that the times I come by are during office hours. That is my frustration.

Annie Riley-Bussey: Terrible experience here. They get you with a promotional rate and then double it without warning. They add on a crazy amount for insurance and little does the tenant know if you have home owners insurance you can use that for insurance. Do not let them take advantage of you. People are very greedy and like to get over on you especially if you are new at renting units. Would NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!The only good thing is the customer service from James and that’s it!

Cynthia Amos: I have used this storage center twice and the first time, it was reasonable but this time; the prices are outrageous. I have one of the smallest units and the price has gone up since December and it’s not even climate control. Dakota does give great customer service but some issues are out of his control but I definitely won’t be renting from them again.

She assisted me every step of the way INCLUDING when I was having technical difficulties filling out the information online. She really went out of her way to assist me through the phone. Unfortunately for the rest of you, that day happened to be her last day working there, and therefore you won't be able to meet her and be graced by her presence.Location of the storage units is great. James Gibson: I have used SevureCare two separate times now. Once while I was deployed, and once while I was moving. Both times service was very friendly. They have a great program allowing my wife access to my things while I was gone and a good insurance plan on my things while in storage. Facility is secure with locks, fences and cameras. I had no issues with the conditions of my things since the facility is climate controlled. They also have cars for moving things and elevators for higher floors, which surprisingly was hassel free. Use them if you need storage.

I was pretty happy with everything I saw. (I needed to fiddle to get the unit door closed correctly.) Everything feels safe and easy to move around my vehicle to get to.

After visiting many places, I settled at this location because the female in the office assured me that my belongings were safe because she lived on site.Both of my vehicles were broken into. My car window was knocked out and random personal effects were stolen. My truck window was slid down and my subwoofers and Amp were stolen. The thief UNBOLTED my subs! (Where is the CCTV footage? )I was not contacted, they said they couldn't reach me. No report was filed, I want even emailed.A few months later, my account was passed due because they raised the rates during Covid-19, and guess what miracle happened, I was contacted.The female tried to sell me some garbage story about her having Covid at the time, how convenient.The break in happened 9 months after I parked my vehicles, and I found out A YEAR LATER after I got over my fear of traveling internationally during a global pandemic. Unacceptable.I have a strong dislike for this company. They lied, it was an inside job because no other vehicles on the lot were disturbed. I asked for a report abs all they sent me were photos.... GARBAGE STORAGE FACILITY WITH GARBAGE EMPLOYEES. I'm poor, steal from the rich and leave us poor people alone. We work hard for our belongings, stop stealing.The level of h.a.t.e. I have toward that lady is immeasurable. She's a damn liar.
