We come every time we are in town and she has never been disappointed and they taste great. I have also tried the cup cakes and they're so good not too sweet but just right and very moist. They have inside and outside seating.

N White: Artsy little place to grab some sweets while checking out downtown Fayetteville. We enjoy the cupcakes and the atmosphere. They also do orders so it is nice to be able grab some goodies for a special occasion. Indoor and outdoor seating with a friendly, helpful staff.

I know we cant help how we look but the workers look absolutely disgusting and greasy. I still decided to get my cookies and hope they were at least nice. I was very wrong. They clearly both hate their jobs.. there were no double doozies so I asked if they could make one for me and the guy literally said UGH. I blew it off, but every time I added another cookie or had a question about a cookie he acted like it was the biggest inconvenience ever. Crazy how this guy acted & definitely does not need to be working in customer service. I’ve been in many different states and love great american cookies, but this location is BY FAR THE WORST. Then to ask for a tip at the end… ridiculous.

Cece Stan: I had a very embarrassing encounter due to the manager (older lady) there. I picked put my cookie(s) and handed my military, said my number for points, and proceeded to give my card. Like I do every other week. I'm a very consistent client. I was informed that there was a issue with their system and that it was not registering my card. The employees let me know that it's happened before. The manager snarkly said well you need to pay with another card. I enforced her that that's my debit card and what I used everytime I come there. She madthem try a few more times. When they couldn't get it to work (there's a line at this point). She loudly said ILL JUST PAY FOR HER COOKIES LET HER GO! As if trying to embarrass me like I didn't have the funds . When it was their system that wasn't working. Then rolled her eyes and walked off. I didn't appreciate this at all maybe some customer interaction training is on order. The last I checked you don't shame clients for system malfunctions or be rude.

Bri Bol: I was pregnant and craving cookies and trying to suggest this place to a friend. I bought 4 cookies and they put it in a tiny bag. As I was about to ask for a bigger package, the cookies slide out of the tiny package and I was still in front of the counter. They had the audacity to tell me that they will not give me replacements when they were the ones that caused it. Terrible customer service!!! Especially towards pregnant woman!

Caribbean Mimi: Cookies and Brownies are always fresh and delicious. Staff is always friendly. However, just this pass weekend I was a bit taken back by Jax when I asked him for some napkins as the napkin container was empty. He giggles and said I have not had time to refill. I left with no napkins after spending $20 on some cookies. Jax moved on to the next customer not getting any napkins. Great customer service!

I have always been satisfied until today. I truly have never even seen one as bad as this one. The time to pickup was 1pm and I had received a call a 10:30 am to confirm details and was told she was starting on the cookie cake. I waited until after 1:30 until she was finished. I was so shocked by what I had recieved and had no time to wait for another to be made as my kids would be home from school by 2:30. They did give me cookies to make up for it so I was at least happy about that. I don't know what could have possibly happened to this cookie cake, I am thinking the girl making it had to have been new.EDIT- The manager reached out and was the kindest women! She made everything right and we are very appreciative of her. Thank you, we will see you in June.

Whitney A: I needed a simple red velvet cake for a family members birthday celebrations and found Burney’s online. I went in person on a early Friday afternoon to place the order, the girl taking my order seem new because she didn’t seem to know what was going on when writing my order down. I was told to email my inspiration picture because the lady taking my order didn’t know how to describe it and I would say the decorations idea was simple. I emailed the picture, set pick up for Monday at noon, paid for the cake in advance, and left out. An hour goes by and I notice the email didn’t go through, so I called the store back and asked if they could verify they received my email but the lady that answered the phone said she didn’t have access to the email and the person would call me back. Well I never received a call back, until I gave them at 8am Monday morning to make sure they got the picture. On the phone call Monday morning a young lady informed me the person who controlled the email was still not in work but assured me my cake would be ready by noon. I go in at noon to pick up the cake and I was just baffled by the presentation. It was so sloppy and had icing missing from the bottom at the cake board but I had to accept the cake because I had to have it to the celebration 30 minutes later. Once I took it out the cake box you can see places were the icing was put on thick enough and could see the red velvet underneath and it was sliding off the cake board. We cut into the cake and taste like it had been frozen and smelled like cardboard. I feel like my cake was rushed and just slapped together.

We are celebrating National Laboratory Week at the hospital and I found an eight foot table covered in boxes of pastries from Burney's. I took a few and was amazed at how fresh and delicious they were. I am not sure if they come with a next day, freshness guarantee but I took a few again this morning and it felt as if it was fresh from the bakery. Great job! I hope to visit in person soon to see the entire selection.
