Chandana Kori: I ordered shoes from Saks Fifth online and wanted to return them to the store because the size did not fit. The employee and her manager were extremely rude and they said the shoes were used and not in sellable condition when I had only tried them on once! Very disappointed with the experience. The worst franchise of Saks ever!

Jaclyn Hamilton: I love my Saks fifth avenue. However, Triangle is going under and changing their style to accommodate the unfortunate direction the mall is heading. I had several items in my arms, including a saks bag since I just bought a pair of shoes. I walked around to get service. Finally a lady was talking with another customer. I waited very patient to ask for a fitting room, which I waited till she was done speaking to other lady. The sales lady stated I'll be with you in a minute. Now I get that you are helping another customer, but all I needed was a dressing room. I felt she was focus on that one lady because she seem to spend more than I would be at the time. I just felt the lady was unaccommodating and a little judgmental. She didn't even check on me to see if everything was working out. Needless to say, I bought what worked and left.I will stick to the online shopping instead of going back to the store.

Dave F: With the closure of half of the store and layoff of the long term staff this store feels more like a TJ Maxx than luxury shopping. The men’s section is truly awful, stocking only giant logo brands and plastic shoes. The women’s selection is better, but the layout of long rails, with clothes crammed in makes it feel like bargain hunting experience at a thrift shop. On our last few visits the staff have been inattentive and on their phones. Not worth the 45 minute drive anymore

Laura Graziano: I shop at this store regularly- one of my favorites! I was on the hunt for something specific. When Michelle saw it come into the store- she sent me a text so I could come see it. It was perfect- thank you Michelle!!
brooke c: I have always loved coming to this boutique, but my last experience was not what I expected.There were quite a few workers and they were slightly overwhelming; we were greeted multiple times and constantly asked if we wanted to start a fitting room. I appreciate their persistence, but it was a little much as someone who was just there to look around. This was not really my main problem though.After I tried on my clothes, I went over to the jewelry. I picked up a pair of earrings and kept looking around. A middle-aged to elderly woman, named Stacy, started following me around and peering over my shoulder. It was very uncomfortable. She then asked me multiple times in a row if I wanted her to hold my clothing at the front, including the earrings, after I answered no each time. She kept mentioning the earrings over and over again, as if I was trying to steal them. I then went to the front to pay for my clothing and she was my cashier. She inspected my card before I payed and then after, dropped the card in front of me. I appreciate her looking out for the store and making sure no items are stolen, but to me, it seemed a little overdone. I am younger and believe this was part of the reason why she was suspicious, but that should not be an excuse. I did not pick up the earrings in a suspicious way or try and hide them.I usually do not write reviews like this, but I believe the way she was treating me (as if I was just there to steal) was not kind and wrong. MODE, please do something about this. Again, the clerks name was Stacy and she was a middle-aged to elderly woman.
Brynn Hegnes: Pay attention to the bad review and consign elsewhere!I checked their website to see their brands of interest, and then brought in bins of folded clothes.I waited while teenage staff members gossiped about other staff members and online shopped, while my bin sat there untouched.Eventually the staff told me the brands I brought were "outdated"(it was mostly Banana Republic and Free People, which is what their website listed?), and then had me sign a paper listing the items they did take.After hearing nothing for weeks, I called. I found out their policy is they "donate" your items that don't sell. I was still within the timeframe, so I asked for my clothes back. I was told no, even though nobody said a word about how their "different process".I've consigned professionally for 10+ years, and never had unsold items "donated" without the option to pick them up.

So, I walked the blocks from the last stop and was immediately turned away by the racks labeled with sizes that would not fit me. They advertise they are for all ages, but definitely NOT all sizes! If you are a curvy girl, do NOT waste your time! Nothing over XL Ladies!

Had a very bad experience.My Mother-in-law passed away and I volunteered to resale the garments in her extensive and mid to high end wardrobe.I called Mode and spoke to a friendly person, explaining the extent and quality of the garments I wished to resell. I was asked to bring them over but got no info about their “rules” for what was and wasn’t accepted.Fast forward to the actual on site interaction.Great effort was involved for me to haul many garments to the store. The friendliness was missing when I arrived. Some garments were nicely folded when I presented them. The store staff grabbed each one, glanced at the tag and threw it in a wadded reject pile. Out the many, many garments, they prob took ten. If I had been told the “rules”, I could have easily donated and gotten a tax receipt.BAD EXPERIENCE!

Lillian Lang: I was quite surprised by this store, walking in I wasn’t sure if I was gonna find anything but I found three amazing dresses perfect fit for my style. I was so happy since I hadn’t been able to find anything good in Raleigh’s boutique stores. But finally to my surprise, I love how they change the styles seasonally and they keep it looking clean, one of the girls was the kindness and most welcoming. 10/10

Jessica Starbird: I had an AWESOME experience with Lenae (who’s name I’ve almost certainly spelled incorrect- sorry!). They were fantastic! I’d booked a Personal Shopper Service online and when I got there (early) they’d already read my notes, had ideas, and were willing to explain everything. They were also just so personable and put my apprehensive self at ease. It was exactly what I needed, and their recommendations were perfect. 10/10 would recommend.
Chrystie S: Went to return something I purchased online that I used Klarna for at check out. First cashier person that attended me was super nice and tried to figure out why the machine was asking me for a card, when Klarna doesn’t use a physical card. The second associate who came in to figure it out said I had to give the same Klarna card I used, but again there is no physical card. She was super unhelpful and also made no sense and kept asking me to come up with a card that didn’t exist or take store credit. I went outside and called Sephora customer service and he said that I’m correct there is no physical card needed to process the return in store for Klarna. The Sephora customer service processed the return for me on the phone thankfully and apologized that the store person gave me a hard time. Thankful he helped and I’m getting my refund without even having to return the product. I would say don’t bother coming in here if you used a virtual card online for your order. Just call Sephora customer service on the phone and they’ll be more helpful :)

Deandres Sanders: So I visited from Texas for a week with no makeup and 2 formal/semi formal events. I knew what I wanted which was the IT Cosmetics CC Cream with 50 SPF! Tik Tok had already sold me on it ( the coverage is AMAZING). Well I used the shade finder tool and was stuck between 2 shades so I found my nearest Sephora! I was helped by the Beautiful, knowledgeable, personable and PATIENT Raena! Representation matters and it can be really tough finding a stylist of any sort let alone makeup who understand skin of color. Well Raena went above and beyond in my eyes. She also suggested a couple of her faves after probing me to find out what I really needed and wanted! She also gave me the most cost effective route seeing as it was just for 2 days. After partying till 6 I’m the morning both days I will be purchasing the O/S “On til Dawn” setting spray and and setting powder as well as the Sephora concealer. It’s also important to know that my skin can get very oily. Just before an after party I would spray my brush with the setting spray and tap my face and it would look as if I just put on my make up! I know this review is lengthy but I want y’all to feel me lol I also rarely do reviews so yeah…. My hair stylist and Raena had me feeling myself I was getting so many compliments. Give Raena a Raise Sephora she is amazing!
Jennie Perry: The store itself is beautiful, but at this point, I’ve had multiple negative encounters with a staff, and it’s rubbing me the wrong way. The first time it happened, we were checking out and the girl checking us out, was very chatty and was educating us about the product we maybe asked one question. As we were leaving, we overheard her complaining about how she had to talk to us to the next customer. That left a really bad taste in our mouth.We then came back because we were so excited to get one of the new lip oils from rare beauty. When asking about the availability one of the staff rudely cut me off and asked, “what’s your question.” Then proceeded to cut me off again as I was explaining my question, asking me “exactly what shade are you interested in.”Overall, I can’t figure out for the life of me why the staff come off as entitled and rude here. I really would not like to go to Southpoint just to pick up makeup, but at this point I’ve had three encounters that make me feel uncomfortable. They need to do some retraining and teach them how to have good customer service. We are the ones paying and visiting your store. Make us feel welcome because at this point, I don’t want to go back. Honestly, I’m now going to order the lip oils directly off of the rare beauty website instead of Sephora.

The “manager” called me I had told her my experience and she didn’t want to hear it and said she could get a few free items delivered to me since I had a bad experience & I told her I didn’t want anything free to just get her staff together & she went on with the it’s not free product…… if it’s not FREE why are you saying your going to send me a free items? Any professional manager would of emailed me saying it was nice speaking with you blah blah blah but in this case she didn’t they don’t care. This is why they have bad reviews staff and manager don’t care about the customers.

Phoenix Swedlund: I had a good experience at a previous visit, but the second time, I brought some things in to sell, and the salesperson said we had to schedule an appointment to do so, and they weren’t taking anything for 5 months. That’s totally fine, and we were bummed but stayed to shop. As we were shopping, a couple come in with some bags, and we heard the salesperson say they could make an exception and began to look through THEIR things to take them. We were dressed in casual clothes and the others were dressed casually, but still clearly displaying wealth. It was humiliating. It is hard to view this as anything but discriminating due to our appearance. We had high-end items, several higher than some items on the racks. Disappointed, embarrassed, and will not be returning or recommending.
dawn dunlavey: Called and inquired if they accept formal wear. Was told “bring it in and we will look at it”. Drove over an hour to get there and was greeted with “do you have an appointment?”..first mention of this. Employee told me I could leave my item and the owner would “have look online to determine price”…Total waste of time.
Katherine: As a first time visitor (recommended by another local shop), I was greeted upon entry and was offered help if needed. The employee let me browse around peacefully, without hounding me for a purchase or help. The dressing rooms looked very inviting, actually the whole store was. I enjoyed how organized and clean the store is. I will be back with more of an intent to buy in the future.
Lesa W: Fantastic shop and proprietor. Went in to see if the store any prom dresses last spring, as a local High School was setting up a pop up prom shop, and was in need of donations. Was thrilled that the shop had quite a bit of inventory. Upon checking out, I shared with the owner why I was buying so many, I believe, especially after the being isolated during the pandemic, that seniors should be able to attend their prom and a cost of a dress should not be a prohibitive factor. She ask me to wait, and went into the back of the store, she returned with her arms filled with the most exquisite dresses, some were beautifully beaded, others had layers of tulle, all were of the most gorgeous colors. These were truly special dresses! And then . . . She donated them to the cause! When I brought all the dresses to school, the coordinator was so very excited, her eyes welled up. She knew that these dresses were going to make some young students very happy as they may not have otherwise been able to afford a dress to attend. I learned the pop-up shop was a great success. Everything donated, including those amazing dresses, were free for students. Paying it forward- everyone wins! Love shopping local, when we support our small community retailers, they support our community back. Great resale shop with an amazing owner!
Miz Pizzy: I've been shopping here for quite awhile. I love this store! There are many treasures to be found. Great selection of designer clothing, shoes & handbags. Reasonably priced and good sales. The owner is always kind & helpful. It's my favorite consignment shop in Raleigh, hands down!

We went to the mall first and didn't find anything plus the line for the changing room at Macy's was insanely long. Totally worth going to Adore.

I bought a Louis Vuitton purse and a leather jacket that I had only seen in pictures. They were shipped to my home in Ohio. I was very happy when I got them because they were better than they looked in the pictures. Will buy again and hopefully visit soon. Thank you, Klara!

Paula Dickerson: Why put some of the inventory in the draws below and not keep the shelves stocked and then tell customers not to go in the drawers??? That was the first time I heard that. Very rude customer service. I’ll shop elsewhere.
Iva Hutníková: The worst Sephora I’ve ever been to!! Junky, dirty, products all over the place. Don’t even get me started on their lazy staff. 10 people chatting when I asked them for help they just gave me a look like I’m bothering them. Their manager clearly doing something wrong.

They are always out of inventory so you are better off ordering online. They staff tells you to order online and they will ship for free because they don’t have inventory. I’m not wasting my time shopping in this store and going to Ulta because they have inventory and at least their store is clean and they have testers. This store is so filthy and unsanitary, I’m surprised they don’t get violations for it. Definitely not well managed and it’s shocking that corporate allows it to operate in this condition.

Michael Scott ‘s Paper Company: Yes it’s obvious that Sephora is expensive. But their customer service makes up for it. They are very helpful, understanding, and all resemble as experts in their store. Although it’s busy, they definitely know how to keep their lines moving.
Jelena Stankovic: I called this morning to ask about their return policy as the ilia products I bought were causing me to break out. I had given them a few months to see if it was me or the product itself. Anyway I called to ask if I can exchange for something else I didn’t even want a refund just a foundation that didn’t make me breakout. The girl on the phone told me 60 days for a refund and 90 days for store credit. I was at the 90 day mark so I drove 45 minutes and was told this is not the return policy by some he/she looking person who was disgustingly rude to me. The “manager” some blonde lady came over with an attitude and was mouthing off to me that her employees would never say that. I explained to her that I literally spoke to someone a few hours ago and they told me to come in. My fault I should have gotten the employees name. The manager is very unprofessional and doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. I mean who can blame her she is a BIG SHOT MANAGER at Sephora lol. Definitely won’t be back at this location and get a real job if you want to act like a big shot manager and learn some manners girl!
B B: Last reviewer isn't lying, customer service sucks here with the 2 or 3 people I've tried to get help me. #shoppingwhilewhite lol. They don't discriminate in whom they ignore. The tall big curly hair latina ignored me when i asked for help. And went to help another customer. And this chocolate complexion girl did the same thing to me when i asked to get color matched. She just looked at me & walked to the register 🙄...Guess u gotta walk in looking like a millionaire.And this store gets the most crowded out of the sephoras in town.However; during the weekday I was greeted by Sade. She was an angel 😇 that stood out in a store full of rude workers. She was knowledgable & went over & beyond!Helped me find a primer that worked for my skin! Went a different time & she helped me match a foundation for my complexion/skin concerns. And was good at multi tasking multiple customers during a busy rush. Love her!!!! I highly recommend her when you go!

My wife sent me in with specific needs and I was welcomed and helped and my expectations were greatly exceeded. Daljit was a standout. I feel like I've found a store I can feel comfortable going into.

nic nic: This Sephora is aaaiight, but I mean it is in the mall and there is a lot of people passing through here depending on what day of the week and time you come. I was not greeted and no one the entire 20 minutes I was there asked if I needed any assistance. I understand they’re busy and it’s easy to miss people coming in. Stock was just ok. Every time I go here all the good stuff is never in stock. It’s like they get stock once a month. Also feel like the girls they hired here could be nicer. Three stars may actually be too generous. The Sephora on NC state campus and brier creek are my favorites.
J Neum: Terrible customer service. Nobody ever acknowledges me when I go in there and i can never get any help. I understand being busy but twice now (on 2 different visits), i have approached an associate for help and they said they were busy but would send someone over to me. I waited….and waited…and waited…nothing. I don’t mind waiting, but all I could do was assume I was forgotten about since nobody ever came over to at least tell me it would be a little longer of a wait. It’s just rude! Also, they are very often out of what i want anyway so i think I’ll just stick with Ulta where I tend to have a much better experience!

NS Showell: I went to the Crabtree mall Sephora for a 60 min make over and was sooooo disappointed! First the mua was lacking knowledge of the makeup they had in the store...couldn't color match me OR find a full coverage foundation. His attitude was horrible and was very impatient and seemed to be in a rush. The makeup was sloppy and all over my the collar of my shirt and jacket. The look was rushed an horrible. I don't recommend this Sephora for beauty service.

SEJ: Horrible customer service. I was NEVER greeted or asked if I needed assistance of any kind. I was refused check out at the register, after being told I was next. The cashier left me standing there for minutes while she helped someone else on the floor. The young lady next to her refused to check out my items because I was standing at the other register- I spoke to the store manager LAUREN who didn’t seem to care much. Long story short I returned my $90.00 worth of items. #shoppingwhileblack
