Preetha Rini: Best place to buy an office chair in the Triangle that I could find!! Lane Joyner was extremely great at walking me through chairs and telling me about them. I settled on a Steelcase Amia and waited a couple weeks for his shipment to arrive so that I could buy two. He communicated clearly and let me know when the chairs were ready.I got each chair for $285 so with tax my total was $611. This is a $750 chair new and yet mine, while a bit dusty from being moved around in a warehouse, looked to be in almost perfect condition. All features worked. This was a "steel" (get it?) for these chairs.I spent a LONG time shopping for office chairs, obsessively went down every facebook marketplace rabbit hole, even considered driving to Virginia to buy a used Herman Mill Aeron. I also shopped around locally at Storr furntiure, but their pre-owned Amia was in much worse shape and priced at $399. I sat in new steelcase and herman miller chairs at dealers, but I didn't want to pay a thousand dollars for a chair. Do NOT buy an office chair from staples or office depot. I sat in every single one and they are all terrible.Instead, a used chair from a "real" chair company is the way to go. The folks at Creative Business Interiors can show you many chairs in the $250-$300 price range that are almost good as new. These industrial office chairs are meant to last 12 years of constant use, so chances are your used chair is going to last plenty of time!! You can of course inspect it first.Anyway - highly recommend this company and will be sending all my friends who need a chair to Lane!

The checkout counter is in the far left corner of the store, so when a customer intuitively approaches the counter at the right side of the store and is ignored by at least four store employees until the customer speaks up, some training should be conducted. The staff, obviously used to customers coming to the wrong counter, should not ignore one standing there. Rather, politely direct the customer to the other counter and not be sarcastic about the signs hanging high in the air that no one is looking up at.Customers are not always right, but they don't have to spend their money in an an establishment that ignores their presence.

I will never send out something from this Staples again. I know that this may not be the fault of the beautiful lady that prepared the envelope, UPS has a very low rating recently. I didn't know this. But...if this were my business, I would have tracked down the driver by calling my contact with UPS and tried to solve it for my customer.

I found her a chair with the arms that swing up so her work space in the living room could be a little more condensed after she stopped for the day... When i got the box home on December 23rd it turned out to be a "returned" box with warn out parts such as the lifter and Seatback that some a...hole american pulled a fast one... I brought the box back immediately since i lived near by and every associate i encountered was overly Pleasant and anxious to right the wrong... no nearby stores had the item and it had to be ordered from the Warehouse. As I said it was Dec.23rd and they guaranteed that it would arrive on Monday. Well, the chair arrived on the next day... Christmas eve.. all new and very satisfying.. Kudos to everyone involved... especially associate Mary who checked the other stores and put in the order.. She is a recent graduate of N.C. State.. and everyone who reads this should acknowledge her accomplishment in these CRAZY TIMES.

Emilia Schenkel: Absolute trash. First, the employee’s here are the biggest POS’s I’ve ever met in my life. At first they were nice to me, then after I purchased a couch they did not help at all. I messaged them and called MULTIPLE times about dirty marks and rips on the couch that was supposedly “professionally cleaned”. I bought a couch that had an outlet for charging phones that I was ASSURED worked “perfectly”. When I got home, the outlets did not work at all. They ignored me EVERY time. I was told when I first purchased the couch that I would end up paying about $900 once all my payments were completed. I did the math and I ended up paying almost $1700. For a DIRTY couch. I did not see the marks on it when I was in store due to the way they strategically staged the couch. I believe the employee’s name was Daniel, and he refused to help. I told them I wouldn’t make another payment until it was cleaned, so they contacted my MOTHER who was a reference number and basically asked HER to make the payment. Just absolutely disgusting horrible people. I did NOT have autopay set up EVER, so when I did not make a payment due to being ignored, they went ahead and charged my card anyway without ANY authorization. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE PLEASE.

Let's try RAC. I started off my lease online at the 3901 Capital Blvd location.Complete worst 3 weeks of my life when it comes to dealing with people. Each and every person I spoke to at that location would say they would assist, I would call back 24 hours later and get no additional support. I leased a dining room set and was not satisfied. I called them back 24 hours later asking them to pick it up, long story short they NEVER picked it up. 3 WEEKS OF BACK AND FORTH. I had to personally call Daniel at this location 4550 Capital and explain my situation to him. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND, same day he called me at around 7pm (after the store was closed) and told me he had made arrangements with the other location to take over the ugly table I had for 3 weeks and lease a new one I was pleased with. I was sooo appreciative. He sent his men out the next day! They (Richard and Antonio) showed up on time and picked up the dining room set, quickly replaced it with the new set. The men wiped down the set when placing it in my home!! I am just in awe, Daniel literally put in the extra effort with me! I was so tired of that other location, I explained to Daniel I was ready to drop the table off the next day MYSELF! He and his Crew were awesome!! Thanks Guys!!!

Shantell Powell: As others have stated over the years this place is horrible they harass you and are very unprofessional. I will never rent with this location again I had to call corporate and file a complaint on the staff and the treatment I received. They need to be shut down. Life happens and instead of understanding and being customer focused they intimidate you and make you feel less than bc you are behind. They don’t deserve any stars at all.
Tyrone Mac: The rent a center on capital in mini city is a hot mess! When you are behind one payment, they are ready to pick up your items. The funny thing is when you tell them your pay schedule, they act like they don’t know what you talking about. Clearly lack of understanding and communication skill. Do not rent from them cause it is not worth it. Employees are nasty to work with. Your best bet is to go to Arrons where they care or buy your items straight out at a store somewhere.
Tova Arnold: Not an option for zero starts, made me pay more than what I needed to for a short term rental and will not refund MY MONEY. I don’t want a refund credit! I don’t need a refund credit!. I need my money back!. The district manager is unbelievably rude, yelling over me. The store employees are no help. But I get a text message every few days reminding me your holding my money hostage. WORST COMPANY EVER!

Lily Pons: HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!! We bought the furniture full price , and picked it up . They were 5 man standing near the back door , and the front desk lady helped take it outside . My 75 year grandpa and cousin struggled to load up the couches .one of loaders the only thing they had to say was put it the opposite way , not a even a finger to help us . They just come with their little tackys to scratch their a**
Chandler Rogers: I love my furniture but when a payment is a week late especially during a pandemic and after notifying them I got a new job and my payment period changed they still constantly called and came by my house .It is absolutely ridiculous to taunt people for money and bang on their doors for 15 minute periods multiple times a day as if you’re the police . This is the worst place to rent from and it’s inappropriate to come by peoples house and really not safe now a days you all should really think about changing that for your own safety because everyone is not kind and will not take banging on their doors nicely . In other words they like to try to intimidate you into paying. If I could leave zero stars I would, this place is the worst. Like others said go to another location.

Anna Lopez: By far the worst costumer service I've experienced in a while. Staff is very unprofessional. Excessive calling reminding you to make your payment, leaving msg (in spanish and english) that are not understandable due to them speaking so fast . I've used RaCmany time, but this location needs way more customer service orientation.
