Jaclyn Hamilton: I love my Saks fifth avenue. However, Triangle is going under and changing their style to accommodate the unfortunate direction the mall is heading. I had several items in my arms, including a saks bag since I just bought a pair of shoes. I walked around to get service. Finally a lady was talking with another customer. I waited very patient to ask for a fitting room, which I waited till she was done speaking to other lady. The sales lady stated I'll be with you in a minute. Now I get that you are helping another customer, but all I needed was a dressing room. I felt she was focus on that one lady because she seem to spend more than I would be at the time. I just felt the lady was unaccommodating and a little judgmental. She didn't even check on me to see if everything was working out. Needless to say, I bought what worked and left.I will stick to the online shopping instead of going back to the store.

Dave F: With the closure of half of the store and layoff of the long term staff this store feels more like a TJ Maxx than luxury shopping. The men’s section is truly awful, stocking only giant logo brands and plastic shoes. The women’s selection is better, but the layout of long rails, with clothes crammed in makes it feel like bargain hunting experience at a thrift shop. On our last few visits the staff have been inattentive and on their phones. Not worth the 45 minute drive anymore

Nazneen Malik: I called before going to turn in some clothes. On getting there, I was first told they were not accepting. Then I was told there was a 2 and half hour wait to which I agreed. I was called in an hour saying they don’t accept ‘junior’ sizes and didn’t accept a single one of my items. I am an XS adult or a size 2 not junior sized. They wasted my time and I am thinking were dishonest.

I have huge feet, which makes it hard to find cute shoes in other stores, but I've gotten some really great shoes here, all in great condition and great price. A really nice and friendly sales woman helped me find the perfect dress and it just happened to be 50% off!! I can't remember the woman's name who helped me, she was blonde with a great personality and great tips on finding exactly what I needed. I will certainly be back. My daughter and her friends, career women, all shop here too!!

I take pride in customer service though, just sitting here reading these reviews and how the store goes back and forth with customers (everyone is a customer) even if they aren't buying or selling today. If a business have to explain or defend every bad review that is so unprofessional (just my opinion). Reviews aren't made to attack the business they are to help the company grow or see what consumers really think (it is business) but this company should write books as lengthy as their response is to every negative review.

Professional Services: They lack professionalism.

Preshell Roberson: It’s not a welcoming atmosphere I’d rather donate. You walk into the store the cashier aren’t friendly.It’s funny how the reply summed it up and wrote their own review about themselves haha creepy. Since you want to go back and forth ? Did I even walk into the store with a bag or did I inquire about the policy? I asked did you have a bag I could purchase, his rude tale then went to say no and I am not buying anymore as you can see I just gave her all my money. He did educate me on the policy. I didn’t even want to go into detail. The reason I said it wasn’t a friendly atmosphere is because when I walked in and said hello and not one person spoke back. Then when I did ask about the policy the gentleman said as you can see I just gave the lady all of my cash (how would I know what’s in your register I don’t work there). My issue was never about the policy nor did I bring anything when I came in so get your facts straight. I said the atmosphere wasn’t friendly or welcoming, when people walk in most staff greet. I’m not one of those people that are desperate or need it best believe that so before you come with your rude reply state facts not what you feel .

Brittney Paxon: This is the better location in the area. They tend to have better brands than the Poyner location.

Holly Summerlin: One of the best buy/sell clothing stores in the area. The store is always organized, prices are exceptionally low for designer items, and the most beautiful selection of new a⁵nd pre-loved jewelry.This store is a great place to sell your clothes for cash - receive money the same day!

Holley Smart: Absolutely fabulous store! Checks all of the boxes- gorgeously displayed items, full expansive inventory, wonderful staff. I loved that there was a great range of mid- to high-end designers; I found a formal party dress and an everyday bag for myself (and the handbags! Soooooo many great bags!!). I live a little further away from this location, but I would absolutely recommend the drive if you haven't checked them out yet!

Tyra Young: I do not normally leave reviews, however the way I was treat was less than indicative of service I have received in the past from other Clothes Mentor franchises. A Store Associate, by the name EsMarie or ElMarie ( not sure how to spell her name correctly) but I met with an aggressive tone when I arrived in store. I came in to sell for the first time at the Glenwood Ave Clothes Mentor , where my items were in trash bags, I was not aware of the policy of items needing to be in bins and on the door it says selling by appointment only. I immediately asked can I schedule an appointment she was like what are you selling ? I stated business casual wear she was like here’s a bin I’ll squeeze you and make an exception put your items here don’t be offended if I don’t take most of your items. ( Me taking off gaurd completely by her attitude and disposition) . I said thank you and I would not be offended this is my first time and I am seeing how things work at this location. She looks me up in the system didn’t feel the need to explain the process since I’ve been to other location. I proceed to kill her with kindness ask for her name and not get upset by her demeanor told her I appreciate her squeezing me and for the bin. As I walked around the store I learn that lady just had a nasty attitude !!! Another customer tried something on and was going to put it back instead of hanging it on the rack for the the store associate to hang back and ElMarie was like no don’t do that you are creating more work for us we have a system hang it on the rack the lady obviously taken back was like okay but can hear she was surprised at her tone and tenor !!! I say all this to say they this lady needs to learn better customer service etiquette because it is uncalled for to respond and welcome customers in the manner in which she did… I love Thrifting and Clothes Mentor however I will not be visiting the Glenwood Ave location again due to service. It is my hope they read this and address the issue and respond differently in the future.

I purchased a fringed leather handbag, leopard print jeans, long cardigan with hoodie, necklace and a few items that she sells from different countries to support women to make a fair wage!! I'll be back. I shop a lot with CM. I earn points for discount! 20% off = $28!! I love your energy at this location! P.S I was visiting in from Virginia!!
