Anna Tabares: I found out about City Speakeasy through a promo event in Raleigh, and since I've always wanted to take French lessons, I thought - why not now? I'm happy I found them! They offer small group classes at a convenient time in a great location downtown, classes are really fun and interactive, plus the course includes 2 events outside the classroom where you can socialize with others in your group and put new language skills to practice (super fun!) I highly recommend city speakeasy to anyone who'd like to learn a new language (and not just from text book - but the real way people speak). Thanks for amazing experience city speakeasy!

The food was delicious, the bread fresh and warm out of the oven.The only issue we had was the sun beaming so brightly through the front door, it was blinding. Another customer at the table spilled their wine into their dish due to it, however, the restaurant replaced his whole meal and apologized.
Matt Burnette: I was really impressed with this restaurant. The food was fantastic and the restaurant is a cozy intimate setting. My family came here for a birthday celebration for my father and we ordered an appetizer of calamari, the chicken marscapone, shrimp and scallop pasta, and chicken with gorgonzola cheese sauce. Each dish was so flavorful, and with large plates we had enough for leftovers. Service was outstanding as well. Our waiter had good recommendations and was attentive enough without being over the top.

All enjoyed out appetizers including bruschetta, soup and salads. The dinners of steak, gnocchi and pasta were also perfectly prepared. Service is exceptional and this time I remembered to buy a loaf of their amazing bread on my way out. For me it’s the best bread in town at any restaurant.

EveryDayGlory !: Dined here twice and each time no seating available if you just walk in. This is a small place so make sure to make your reservation well in advance. Food was fantastic and reminded me of restaurants in Italy. Great experience on both visits. Staff was very knowledgeable, professional, patient, friendly, had great recommendations and attentive - nice change compared to some places and attitudes you get dining around town. M JH: Visited Ragazzi's for dinner with 3 of our granddaughters. The kid's menu was perfect for the 2 youngest granddaughters. The adult menu had a wide selection of Italian food. The house salad and breadsticks were great as always. Our waitress Pam was wonderful as she interacted with the girls and us. Pam along with the great food made our dinner out a memorable experience. Ah! I almost forgot to mention that we visited on a weekday night (Tuesday? ) when the youngest 2 girls ate for free from the kid's menu. That savings was icing on the cake. Thanks!

Kathy Imbriani: It saddens me to write this review. Ragazzi's has been one of our favorite restaurants for more than 20 years. Once there were several in the area and now they are down to a single store in Garner. A few years ago it changed hands and the new owner seemed very eager to not only continue the brand but improve on the menu with homemade desserts and updated flavors to the iconic dishes. But, whether the pandemic did them in or just lack of interest, Ragazzi's food has taken a marked turn for the worse.Today, the eggplant parmesan I ordered for lunch was inedible - if it was indeed eggplant. The interior of the battered items were gray, slimy discs, so tough it was impossible to chew it enough to swallow. I've made eggplant parmesan and this bore little resemblance to battered and fried eggplant. It appeared to be a frozen product that had been thawed and served. The marinara sauce was only chunks of canned tomatoes and, while the plate itself was hot, the food was lukewarm and the cheese on top barely melted. My husband's chicken Ragazzi, long one of our favorites, was tasteless, according to him, and not the same dish at all from the past with no hint of marsala wine in it.Our last few visits to Ragazzi's have been more and more disappointing and I think, sadly, we are going to have to mark them off our regular rotation of restaurants.

T: Overall liked this restaurant, it was very quiet for a Saturday lunch. I noticed that several of the tables had not been wiped down and the booths had crumbs all over them. We were given a wiped down table but our booth did have crumbs.I ordered a Medium pizza my husband got the chicken Caesar, chicken parm, and tartufo. Really enjoyed the bread service with the flavored oil. Pizza was very good but a little pricey for the amount of toppings they give (paid $4 for onion and mushroom and only got a few). I think next time I may try a pasta dish. Recommend skipping the tartufo because the ice cream texture was off (icey/grainy). Husband really liked his Caesar salad and chicken parm. Chicken parm portion was generous.

Jay Horowitz: I've eaten at Caffe Luna a few times over the years and the food was always outstanding. My most recent visit wasn't like that. We arrived just as the restaurant opened and sat immediately. Our waitress was friendly and brought water and bread quickly. Unfortunately the bread was clearly old and stale. Figured we would let that slide since we had plenty of food coming. We split a Caesar salad. After the salad was delivered we were offered fresh black pepper on the salad. The young man twisted the pepper grinder twice dumping all the pepper from those grinds in one lump on the salad and left before we said anything. The salad was mediocre. Our entrees came quickly after that, I got the black pasta with grouper and shrimp which was pretty good but my wife ordered the Taglierini del Golfo which was pretty tasteless. Needless to say we left disappointed in our recent visit and wondering if it might be our last.

The noise was loud my friend’s Apple Watch notified her about the noise volume. Our server seemed to be a little overwhelmed managing all of her tables so we were there probably 30 minutes before our order was taken. The food was good and you can tell the ingredients are fresh but the flavor could use some improvement. I was very pleased by the prices, especially to have gotten a past dish with lobster and shrimp. I wouldn’t discourage dining here or going back but it wouldn’t be at the top of my list.

Elizabeth Groeschner: I went to a birthday dinner and I wanted to bring a cake so I emailed them to see if that was ok and they wanted to charge me $20 for an outside food fee. Absolutely ridiculous and I have never been charged at any restaurant I have done this with in the Triangle. The ac was broken and it was terribly hot and we were not told this ahead of our reservation for 15 people and they did nothing to compensate us for being miserable. The server was pretty good and so was the food. The marinara had too much heat. Not a great experience overall.

Lance Kruse: What a great place - both times! We stumbled upon Farina two years ago and loved the food and service and vowed to come back. Well, we were new to the area and forgot the name/could never find this place again. However, we happily found it, now two years later, and are so happy we did! After our failed attempt to go to Enrigo's for a friend's birthday (go check out my review for Enrigo for that story), we were encouraged to enjoy a great Italian meal and we are so happy we were able to do that at Farina.With no reservation at 7pm on a Saturday, they were able to seat our party of two immediately. Our server was Brooke who was extremely nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided very prompt and stellar service. Making recommendations and asking for refills or if we needed anything before we even thought about it was fantastic.The meals here are always delicious. The calamari is quite delicious and the peppers add a delightful fresh, salty-spicey kick to the calamari. The aioli is also quite tasty.For meals, we had the Pesto Primavera with chicken and the Farina (Meat) Pizza. The pasta had a delicious pesto sauce and paired with a healthy portion of pasta and chicken. The pizza was also delicious - thin crust, not too much sauce, and well seasoned toppings. The sausage was delicious and the peppers on the pizza added depth. Did you know they make their own in-house made butter? It was delicious and took the ever normal table bread to a different level. We actually asked for more bread and butter because it was so tasty!The cocktails were also delicious - strong and not too sweet.Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience from the kind host, prompt service, and delicious food. We will definitely be back for our next dose of Italian cuisine!

Elizabeth Hoover: The staff here are wonderful. My family and I love going to Farina's for a special celebration or just a nice meal out at a place where you can still hear one another talk. Delicious pasta, warm crusty bread with salted rosemary butter, and desserts worth trying. The entire plaza is like a little slice of Europe, so it is fun to walk around afterwards.Vegetarian options: Hands down, one of their BEST, most unique dishes is the Balsamic Mushroom pasta.Kid-friendliness: My son loves their smaller sized pizzas.Parking: The parking garage is a great option for staying dry on a rainy day! Moriah Honerkamp: Such a gem of a place. My daughter and I wanted a nice Italian meal. We both enjoyed our dishes. I ordered the bolognese and she had the roasted lobster spaghetti. Both were delicious and came out relatively quickly. Atmosphere was very calm and quaint. Appreciated the experience!
Eva Mitalova: Unfortunately, my family and I had a VERY negative experience at Farina. We’re put on a waitlist for 1.5hrs for an outside table (and we were happy to wait). After more than 2.5hrs wait, visibly clean empty tables available and 3 super hungry children, Farina’s extremely unprofessional manager managed nothing but to ruin my special mother’s day weekend. He confronted me as a customer, he made me feel very uncomfortable and, if not say, disfavored. The restaurant is nice, but it definitely needs a professional manager.

Parking was easy and the atmosphere inside seemed lovely.The pizza itself was good, we got a small pepperoni, large cheese and large bbq. Skyrim Shuffle: I didn't have any expectations as it was my first time here. The food was absolutely amazing! A little odd that they serve everything in take out containers, but I completely understand the decision from a business perspective. Service was what you'd expect from an "order at the counter" establishment, but we never felt ignored or rushed. Their Mozz sticks are huge and their Margherita pizza is wonderful!

Pinky Williams: So I have heard about Frank's Pizza and how good it was for years so I decided to try it. I have to be honest and say that I thought that it was just average. The employee that took my order and the atmosphere was very pleasant but the food was subpar. I ordered the philly cheese steak sub and fries. The fries were luke warm so I gathered that they probably had made them before the philly steak sub was prepared. And the philly steak sub lacked in flavor. I was glad that I finally had a chance to try this establishment but I will probably not return.
Stella Lowery: This has been a favorite of ours for more than 30 years. My husband introduced me to Franks 33 years ago when we first met. My husband Ronnie passed 2021 and 10 of us held a birthday celebration in his honor on April 7th, 2023. We were a little surprised we had to order from the counter but once they took our order everything was brought to our table. Everything was exactly as ordered and our pizza, lasagna and our favorite Philly Steak and Cheese Sanwiches were to die for. The service and wait time was fantastic! dan smith: Vic’s was already my favorite pizza in Raleigh and then we stopped in for a sit down Italian lunch. The restaurant is clean but aging. You’re not going to be wowed by the ambiance. That said, the service was friendly and super attentive. And the food, just Wow, pretty sure Nona’s in the kitchen cooking because the food is so good. The veal parm was amazing. Tender, perfectly seasoned, cheesy. The sauce/gravy is tangy, salty, with just the right amount of sweet for balance. Mmm. Someone else had the chicken parm which was also delicious.
