Ashley Miller: Came in just to get mascara today with my daughter and Frankie at the register was so nice and friendly. Such a delight to have great customer service when we go places and she was IT! Love her and we just met her!

Iva Hutníková: The worst Sephora I’ve ever been to!! Junky, dirty, products all over the place. Don’t even get me started on their lazy staff. 10 people chatting when I asked them for help they just gave me a look like I’m bothering them. Their manager clearly doing something wrong.

Stephanie Reese: The store is so dirty. The testers are missing in several make up lines. The products are dusty and the store has major stock issues. They are always out of inventory so you are better off ordering online. They staff tells you to order online and they will ship for free because they don’t have inventory. I’m not wasting my time shopping in this store and going to Ulta because they have inventory and at least their store is clean and they have testers. This store is so filthy and unsanitary, I’m surprised they don’t get violations for it. Definitely not well managed and it’s shocking that corporate allows it to operate in this condition.

Michael Scott ‘s Paper Company: Yes it’s obvious that Sephora is expensive. But their customer service makes up for it. They are very helpful, understanding, and all resemble as experts in their store. Although it’s busy, they definitely know how to keep their lines moving.
Jelena Stankovic: I called this morning to ask about their return policy as the ilia products I bought were causing me to break out. I had given them a few months to see if it was me or the product itself. Anyway I called to ask if I can exchange for something else I didn’t even want a refund just a foundation that didn’t make me breakout. The girl on the phone told me 60 days for a refund and 90 days for store credit. I was at the 90 day mark so I drove 45 minutes and was told this is not the return policy by some he/she looking person who was disgustingly rude to me. The “manager” some blonde lady came over with an attitude and was mouthing off to me that her employees would never say that. I explained to her that I literally spoke to someone a few hours ago and they told me to come in. My fault I should have gotten the employees name. The manager is very unprofessional and doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. I mean who can blame her she is a BIG SHOT MANAGER at Sephora lol. Definitely won’t be back at this location and get a real job if you want to act like a big shot manager and learn some manners girl!
B B: Last reviewer isn't lying, customer service sucks here with the 2 or 3 people I've tried to get help me. #shoppingwhilewhite lol. They don't discriminate in whom they ignore. The tall big curly hair latina ignored me when i asked for help. And went to help another customer. And this chocolate complexion girl did the same thing to me when i asked to get color matched. She just looked at me & walked to the register 🙄...Guess u gotta walk in looking like a millionaire.And this store gets the most crowded out of the sephoras in town.However; during the weekday I was greeted by Sade. She was an angel 😇 that stood out in a store full of rude workers. She was knowledgable & went over & beyond!Helped me find a primer that worked for my skin! Went a different time & she helped me match a foundation for my complexion/skin concerns. And was good at multi tasking multiple customers during a busy rush. Love her!!!! I highly recommend her when you go!

My wife sent me in with specific needs and I was welcomed and helped and my expectations were greatly exceeded. Daljit was a standout. I feel like I've found a store I can feel comfortable going into.

nic nic: This Sephora is aaaiight, but I mean it is in the mall and there is a lot of people passing through here depending on what day of the week and time you come. I was not greeted and no one the entire 20 minutes I was there asked if I needed any assistance. I understand they’re busy and it’s easy to miss people coming in. Stock was just ok. Every time I go here all the good stuff is never in stock. It’s like they get stock once a month. Also feel like the girls they hired here could be nicer. Three stars may actually be too generous. The Sephora on NC state campus and brier creek are my favorites.
J Neum: Terrible customer service. Nobody ever acknowledges me when I go in there and i can never get any help. I understand being busy but twice now (on 2 different visits), i have approached an associate for help and they said they were busy but would send someone over to me. I waited….and waited…and waited…nothing. I don’t mind waiting, but all I could do was assume I was forgotten about since nobody ever came over to at least tell me it would be a little longer of a wait. It’s just rude! Also, they are very often out of what i want anyway so i think I’ll just stick with Ulta where I tend to have a much better experience!

First the mua was lacking knowledge of the makeup they had in the store...couldn't color match me OR find a full coverage foundation. His attitude was horrible and was very impatient and seemed to be in a rush. The makeup was sloppy and all over my the collar of my shirt and jacket. The look was rushed an horrible. GG R: Avoid, unless you like a Head Banging time.Ulta Salons have gone downhill. Was just in the Poyner Place location and the stylist there was very rough/aggressive when washing my hair. Instead of setting my head back in the porcelain wash bowl she just let go and dropped it. The back of my head hurts and worse when touched. I’m pretty sure it’s bruised from this. Also while brushing my hair it was like she kept banging the brush to my head. Didn’t listen to anything as to the way I wanted my haircut. It looks worst then it did when I went in. At least the color was good. Will definitely NOT be coming back.

They had no lipsticks hardly in Any brand!!! WTH I’m thinking this is a makeup store and they only have testers? Mother’s Day is coming up but please Ulta do better! Get your product in stock. After 30 minutes of searching I finally found one in Clinique. Bamboo Pink, so beautiful glad I found this hidden gem 💎 Either way I love Ulta they just need product in stock to make it better. I had the worst experience checking out when I asked about a promotional sign I had seen and they made me feel really uncomfortable for even asking like I was dumb. Heidi Barbera: I love buying at Ulta, but I went a few days ago to get a product for my flyaways and the girl who I asked for help was so nice, I couldn’t remember the exact product I got before and she wasn’t sure what product could work for me, so she went to find the manager, not sure if the woman the girl stop and asked for help was the manager, but that woman that the girl asked for help was SO rude, she looked at me and seemed she decided I wasn’t worth the help, she told the girl she didn’t know what could help me, looked at me again head to toe and made a rude gesture I was so uncomfortable. You need to do better, this woman: black hair, blue eyes should be fired, extremely rude. Not sure I will be back there after what happened.

Mike White: Welp, just like many stores in the past few years, this store has gone downhill sadly. You don’t get the same service as you would have gotten back in like…2014? What happened? Also, we just picked up an online order and realized that the item had already been opened and used. We’ve never had that happen before. The only way that can happen is if an employee wasn’t attentive because it’s easy to tell. How an obviously used product went back on the shelf is beyond me. Maybe the person who returned it lied about not using it? The seal (one of those clear round stickers that keeps a box closed) had been broken and the contents looked like they had been used. I’m only giving it one more star than I otherwise would have given because this did used to be a good store. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this one. Hopefully the others haven’t gone downhill, too.

In all my time of coming to this store, I have never heard Charlene, Kim, Lawren or Selenia complain or see them in a bad mood. In an industry such as hairdressing, where a supply house is needed, dealing with associates such as these ladies is always a welcoming experience! I live in Garner, where the Cosmoprof is just a few miles away. I have found myself going out of my way just to get my products at Salon Centric. Thank you ladies for all you do!

MICHELE PITT: Awful experience. Paid over 120.00 for deep wave hair for my child and 2 days after hair was installed it was shedding and closure had thinned out. Hair was matted up as if it had been in for 3 months. Awful human hair and the stylist informed my daughter that it was not human hair. Spoke to manager to see if he would exchange it but he stated my daughter wasn't taking care of the hair and she has been wearing weaves for many years and she is very capable of maintaining an install. Owner refused to return money or exchange hair. Disputed charges with bank

What sets this store apart, so far, the owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of options and so much merchandise and various brands, and they have a reward system. How does that help me, as a customer, buy or become interested in a product? I don't support businesses that employ managers that bully their young employees, it is not acceptable. I also don't support businesses that employ people who don't know anything about what they sell!

Jessica Gecsey-Ray: I don't go to this location that often anymore, but I prefer morning hours as Sally stores are small and there's a lot of products from hair color to make-up. Also, the associates are usually able to help you more efficiently the less busy it is. I stopped in for nail adhesive tabs, that they didn't carry. However, the associate did help me with the different other type of nail glues they offered. The parking can get tight too on the weekend as it's just a busy shopping center anyhow. A tip is, if it's really busy, park in the lot adjoining that strip mall that's the lower lot of the Wal-mart.

Jessica Starbird: I had an AWESOME experience with Lenae (who’s name I’ve almost certainly spelled incorrect- sorry!). They were fantastic! I’d booked a Personal Shopper Service online and when I got there (early) they’d already read my notes, had ideas, and were willing to explain everything. They were also just so personable and put my apprehensive self at ease. It was exactly what I needed, and their recommendations were perfect. 10/10 would recommend.
Chrystie S: Went to return something I purchased online that I used Klarna for at check out. First cashier person that attended me was super nice and tried to figure out why the machine was asking me for a card, when Klarna doesn’t use a physical card. The second associate who came in to figure it out said I had to give the same Klarna card I used, but again there is no physical card. She was super unhelpful and also made no sense and kept asking me to come up with a card that didn’t exist or take store credit. I went outside and called Sephora customer service and he said that I’m correct there is no physical card needed to process the return in store for Klarna. The Sephora customer service processed the return for me on the phone thankfully and apologized that the store person gave me a hard time. Thankful he helped and I’m getting my refund without even having to return the product. I would say don’t bother coming in here if you used a virtual card online for your order. Just call Sephora customer service on the phone and they’ll be more helpful :)

Deandres Sanders: So I visited from Texas for a week with no makeup and 2 formal/semi formal events. I knew what I wanted which was the IT Cosmetics CC Cream with 50 SPF! Tik Tok had already sold me on it ( the coverage is AMAZING). Well I used the shade finder tool and was stuck between 2 shades so I found my nearest Sephora! I was helped by the Beautiful, knowledgeable, personable and PATIENT Raena! Representation matters and it can be really tough finding a stylist of any sort let alone makeup who understand skin of color. Well Raena went above and beyond in my eyes. She also suggested a couple of her faves after probing me to find out what I really needed and wanted! She also gave me the most cost effective route seeing as it was just for 2 days. After partying till 6 I’m the morning both days I will be purchasing the O/S “On til Dawn” setting spray and and setting powder as well as the Sephora concealer. It’s also important to know that my skin can get very oily. Just before an after party I would spray my brush with the setting spray and tap my face and it would look as if I just put on my make up! I know this review is lengthy but I want y’all to feel me lol I also rarely do reviews so yeah…. My hair stylist and Raena had me feeling myself I was getting so many compliments. Give Raena a Raise Sephora she is amazing!
Jennie Perry: The store itself is beautiful, but at this point, I’ve had multiple negative encounters with a staff, and it’s rubbing me the wrong way. The first time it happened, we were checking out and the girl checking us out, was very chatty and was educating us about the product we maybe asked one question. As we were leaving, we overheard her complaining about how she had to talk to us to the next customer. That left a really bad taste in our mouth.We then came back because we were so excited to get one of the new lip oils from rare beauty. When asking about the availability one of the staff rudely cut me off and asked, “what’s your question.” Then proceeded to cut me off again as I was explaining my question, asking me “exactly what shade are you interested in.”Overall, I can’t figure out for the life of me why the staff come off as entitled and rude here. I really would not like to go to Southpoint just to pick up makeup, but at this point I’ve had three encounters that make me feel uncomfortable. They need to do some retraining and teach them how to have good customer service. We are the ones paying and visiting your store. Make us feel welcome because at this point, I don’t want to go back. Honestly, I’m now going to order the lip oils directly off of the rare beauty website instead of Sephora.
Aayanah McCreary: Ohh my gosh! I just had one of the best Sephora interactions/ check outs ever. A new worker (?) was super sweet to me - knew so much and gave great advice. So inviting and so nice. Give her a raise. I’m asking for her when I come in - even though I don’t know her name! She’s a gorgeous Asian woman with beautiful black hair.

Christy Stephens: I scheduled an appt to chat and plan beach wedding makeup that I also wanted to incorporate my every day makeup and vibe with. Giselle is half my age, young, stunningly gorgeous and NOT the least bit condescending which was my biggest fear walking into this appt. She openly took all of my comments and ideas into account and another coworker even jumped in excitedly to help us!! I walked out after an amazing hour of girl time with amazing products, tips and tricks, and can’t wait to share pics with her from my big day 💗 If you need advice or a lesson, Giselle is your girl out of any of the RDU area locations.

The “manager” called me I had told her my experience and she didn’t want to hear it and said she could get a few free items delivered to me since I had a bad experience & I told her I didn’t want anything free to just get her staff together & she went on with the it’s not free product…… if it’s not FREE why are you saying your going to send me a free items? Any professional manager would of emailed me saying it was nice speaking with you blah blah blah but in this case she didn’t they don’t care. This is why they have bad reviews staff and manager don’t care about the customers.

Reyna Wilson: To anybody that is looking for an AMAZING esthetician, run to Lamari at Benefit Cosmetics Brow Bar in Ulta. She is second to none when it comes to her expertise in brows and cosmetic recommendations. She is professional, all while being friendly and easy to talk to. I am finicky when it comes to my eyebrows and would not trust anyone else doing them. Each time I get the wax & ombre tint combo…..I leave Ulta feeling like Beyonce!

Maya Shmueli: Claire assisted me today at this ulta location and although she humbly claimed to “just be doing her job” she went above and beyond any treatment I’ve ever received at an ulta. It felt like I was being helped by a friend, while maintaining professionalism. She was warm, kind and I felt like she genuinely cared about my well being and me as a person. She provided one of the greatest customer service experiences I’ve had a retail store. I believe she should be recognized for this and hope she receives the credit she should be due for going above and beyond for a customer.
Til G: Went to this location today to purchase nail polish. Was told by the sales associate that I had to give her a phone number in order to make a purchase. I kept questioning her then she said if I purchased anything without putting a phone number on file I couldn’t return it. I said even with a printed receipt? She confirmed. I called Ulta Corporate and they confirmed you can make purchases without a rewards a rewards account, you don’t need to provide a number and you can make a return (with a receipt). Having a number makes it easier because they can look it up image you lose it, but it’s not required. He even said on their website you can make purchases as a guest without signing up for their rewards program. Additionally the corporate representative shared they’ve gotten many complaints about this practice with associates trying to force customers to create accounts to make a purchase.Update: Was able to make a successful purchase at a different Ulta. Read the back of the receipt for the return policy!
Dylon 23: Went in about 45 minutes before closing. Was never greeted (which is fine it doesn't need to be a classy experience). When I made my selection and took it to the cashier I said hello because she wasn't facing me and then was told very emotionless "I'll be right there". I told them I'm not giving my phone number but they kept persisting. I did give my first name though. When asked for my last name I told her politely no and was informed "Well that's how things work here". I feel bad your employees are forced to badger people for their personal information. I put my items back on the shelf and will be gladly taking my money elsewhere.

Kandace Rice: So this is typically my Ulta Store, I frequent since moving to Raleigh. It’s very convenient for me and my salon which is literally 5 minutes away. However, after tonight, I will make a drive clear across town to get to an Ulta. I went into this location literally about 10 minutes ago and did a return on some brow products that I ended up not caring too much after trying it out. The young lady professing my return kindly asked me if I used any of the products and mostly was yes except one of the brow pomades. There were no further issues with return. It was processed as normal. I then asked about a specific brand of brow products and she escorted me to the area. As I was shopping and actually picked up a handful of brow stuff from that brand, I over hear the same lady loudly blurt “I clearly asked her did she use this” to her co-workers and I they must of have noticed I was still in store bc then they carried their voices lower telling her what she should’ve done, it’s too late but assume it has been used blah blah. I have worked retail many of years before and one thing I never cared too much for as an employee or employer is making absurd comments loudly about customers especially while they are still in the store. I instantly got annoyed and could’ve said something then but I simply put my items back and left to go to another Ulta! It’s literally the growth in me I am proud about.

I didn’t realize this until I got home. I went back to same store and they told me I had to have the products in order to get the $3.50 refund. The inexperienced cashier had a major meltdown and then had another cashier come help. This person also said I had to have the products to get the $3.50 refund. They finally decided to refund the entire bill and to ring it up again using the $3.50 coupon. The inexperienced cashier needs more training, especially with customer service!

She is the ONLY person I will let touch my brows now that I've found her. If I can't get an appointment because she is all booked up (which she usually seems to be so definitely make that appointment a few days ahead of time) then I wait for her and only her bc my brows have come such a long way from how they once were. Thank you Mandy!!! A womans brows shapes her face and make up such a huge part of how we look and feel and you can tell Mandy loves what she does!!
