Lindsey Williams Shiver: Sadly, I have to leave a poor review for this office. Doctors are meant to help people. This doctor would not even exam me to see if she could help me. What type of doctor will not even exam someone that is willing to pay and is asking for help for a complication on a procedure that she is familiar with? I explained to the office that several months ago I had a PDO thread placed out of state. I am young and healthy. I am just having a really strange reaction a few months after the threads were placed. It is not anything extreme. I just need someone to look at it. It's possible nothing even needs to be done. I did not even ask they fix the complication. I only asked that the doctor look and give me her opinion. Again...this is a procedure she advertised as doing. Advertised so heavily that every time I google it to try to find someone to exam me, her name comes up on every google search! The thread that was placed is an FDA approved thread that is commonly used for this type of procedure. I explained the reaction I was having. The response I received was to go back to where it was placed. They understand that it is not possible (since it is out of state) and I reached out several times explaining this. They did not care. The office repeatedly stated that I go back to where it was placed. They stated they understand my disappointment but they still did not offer to see me. Wow!Response to owners response-My poor review is due to the fact that you would not even ALLOW me an appointment to become a patient. I did contact the faculty it was placed (as I explained several times) and they gave me advice. I sent photos and videos to them trying to get the issue resolved. I was still having some slight issues. Nothing emergent. They recommended I have a physician in my home state look at it since I couldn't return there. There are many caring physicians all over the country that consult or give 2nd opinions after a procedure was done by a different physician. Good caring physicians consult with each other about the complication and share each others treatment notes to provide the best care for the patient. I was willing to pay. I said that about the FDA approved thread because I know that there are many off branded products out there, so I did not want you to think that is what you would be dealing with. I just asked for a consultation for you to look at it and give me your opinion. I didn't ask you to treat me. I didn't need an emergency room. This was made very clear, and your dismissive response proves exactly what I am taking about. I truly hope that if one of your patients has a complication several months after treatment and are now out of state and can't return to you, someone will be more compassionate and and willing to help than you were with me. It obviously was not worth your time. But, the good news is that I did find a compassionate surgeon that had no problem seeing me and connecting with my other doctor and together the issue is 100% resolved with no complications.

From the moment I first stepped into her practice for my first botox/xeomin experience, I felt right at home. The front staff is so kind and friendly will put you at ease as you are checked in, and there is never a long wait! Dr. Allen herself is incredible. As you can imagine, I was quite nervous the first time I got injections. She was so patient and walked me through the entire process and what I should expect. Melissa Chapman: My recommendation for anyone looking to have any work done is to at least have a consult with Dr. Allen because I know you'll end up choosing her for your procedure(s).While I was having consults with other practices it felt like I spent more time talking with nurses and once the doctor came in was very quick to go over everything and would be out the door on to the next patient. When I met Dr. Allen for the first time, we spent 30-45 minutes going through everything from what I wanted, the risks that come with it, she brought up other possible treatment alternatives with their risks and additional treatment afterwards that could help with achieving the results I wanted.From there and every additional time I have gone, it has never felt like I'm going to a doctor's office but more of stopping by to see a handful of friends who do cosmetic procedures. Dr. Allen and the women she has with her are wonderful and they go out of their way to make sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and in the best possible hands. I truly cannot say enough about her and the women there, they aren't just great at their jobs, they're also genuinely wonderful people. I know that I will never go anywhere else or recommend anyone else because there is simply no comparison.

During our consultation, she provided all of the basic knowledge, took photos, took measurements, answered questions & listened to what I wanted & gave me REALISTIC expectations prior to surgery.I also want to say the people who work under Dr Allen are SO SWEET & KIND. Nevermind the fact that I got multiple emails that my surgery time had been moved (even though they did not actually CALL me to tell me they were moving my surgery time, they moved my surgery time THREE DIFFERENT TIMES without contacting me, yet I am penalized for wanting to move the date -makes sense right?)Yes, they tell you upfront that this fee is non-refundable. They DO NOT tell you upfront that they can move your surgery time at their will as many times as possible without contacting you first. In addition, 1.5 months notice is plenty of time to re-book that particular time frame. Unfortunately I had a family gathering in the bahamas that was rescheduled due to covid. I would think that they would want the best for my surgical outcome and insist that I reschedule the surgery, as not to expose my wound to sun, sand, and salt-water. I also would think they would want me to spend my dad's 81st birthday with him and my brothers and sisters. And they do -but they won't waive that fee. Nope. Even though they have a list of people on a cancellation list who want to get in sooner, and I know they absolutely rebooked that spot a month ahead of time. Despite the fact I was going to book another surgery if this one went smoothly...Also one star shout-out to Angie Suing for her lecturly and somewhat scolding email for why they refuse to let me transfer the $1000 to another date. I read the email out loud to my fiance and he said it was insulting for her to scold me as if I were a student and she were my teacher.This is unethical. Period.If I rescheduled two weeks before, a week before, or a day before I would understand. If this was not covid related I would understand. I was thoroughly looking forward to Dr. Law but I can not trust a company who enforces an unethical policy such as this regarding the circumstances it was under and completely wrong that they would happily operate on me and tell me to go to the Bahamas directly after.I highly recommend Dr. Molly Fuller in Bermuda Run, NC! She is amazing and saved me from an unsightly scar and was HALF THE PRICE of Dr. Law!!! Dr. Law was going to cut my forehead all the way across but she is trained in a new way that does not lift the hair line and does not require cutting!

Noelle Gagnon: I don't usually post recommendations but I felt it was necessary to let everyone know about our wonderful experience with a new plastic surgeon in town. Her name is Dr. Alexandra Schmidt and she is with Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners. My husband desperately needed an upper bleph (eye lid lift). His upper eye lids had so much skin that it was resting on his lash line. This was beginning to impair his vision so he decided to do something about it. He met with Dr. Schmidt for a consult and he was so glad that he did. She immediately put him at ease while explaining the procedure. She was warm and very personable. (I had already done some research on her and knew her credentials were outstanding so that made me feel good as well). She said that he would be a great candidate for this type of surgery and he should see an amazing result. He scheduled the surgery for the following week. It took less than an hour and was done under local anesthesia right there in their fantastic state of the art surgical wing. He is now 2 days post- op and is already back to work (from home). He couldn't believe how easy the whole process was. He is extremely glad that he made the call and had Dr. Schmidt and Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners do the surgery. They took great care of him!Dr. Schmidt did it again! After completing a very successful upper bleph on my husband she and her surgical team performed the same surgery on me. I had been talking about getting this procedure done for quite some time. I can’t believe I waited this long. It was surprising how quick and easy the whole process was. I am usually pretty nervous about getting things like this done, but from the moment I met with Dr. Schmidt she made me feel like I was her only patient. I never felt rushed or like I was taking too much of her time. She listened and answered every one of my many questions even though I had already been through the process with my husband. I am now on day three and feel amazing. I was never in any pain at all. She performed the procedure under local anesthesia with a small cocktail of meds that just took the edge off. The whole surgery took less than an hour and a half from pre-op to post-op. Totally amazing! I would highly recommend Dr. Schmidt and her outstanding surgical team for any procedure.

Taminka Jennings: Dr Blanton refused to deflate my tissue expander after months of chronic pain and me begging for some type of relief because he didn't think it will help. My visit today was to get some saline removed but instead all I got was another consultation about the next steps... But he (Dr Matthew Blanton) had already discussed that the last time I went in about a month ago for the same reason PAIN. I was hesitant about reviewing this Dr even after my initial visit and subsequent visits of said Dr constantly referring to my lady parts as "saggy" his bedside manner at times has been horrible and I don't know if he's oblivious or something but when you're dealing with breast cancer a little compassion goes a long way. My experience at this practice has been horrible and when I voiced my concerns with the office manager Rhonda I believe her name is she was very dismissive to say the least. It's very sad when you look forward to going to the Dr hoping you'll leave with some relief but instead leave in tears.

Scott P: Healthcare operational incompetence at its modern finest. Received a referral from my doctor (due to their supposed work with insurance). Scheduled and confirmed, prefilled all their forms for over an hour and drove 40 minutes to the appointment. Walked in early with all my "homework" printed to make it smoother for THEM. Upon handing preprinted insurance card with forms, I was told they don't except that BCBS plan.OK, except it's the same common plan I listed when I scheduled. It's the same plan used by my referring doctor. It's the same plan accepted at every other doctor I've visited in the region this year (which has been about a dozen). Maybe if they had a secure portal to safely upload documents like its the 21st century, then the unnecessary trip and time could have been avoided. What a waste of an afternoon and restart of a routine after the long holiday weekend. When are these facilities going to start paying the patients for their time?!

Andi Raynor: Had the breast augmentation and laser of belly and inner thighs that I always wanted. No improvement seen at all from the laser. Breasts were awful and the implants appear to be at my shoulders. MD did another procedure under local to correct my breasts and allow them to “fall” in place and it was more traumatic than 3 childbirth experiences. AND it did nothing. I basically have distorted looking breasts that are way too high and I’m more self conscious now than I was before I paid over $9K to have this done. I will NOT go back.

Lisa R: I adore Dr. Alexandra Schmidt! I consulted with her for an implant exchange and mastopexy. I ended up adding liposuction of my abdomen and man I am so glad I did that! I was so impressed with seeing the body I USED TO have, that I changed my diet and have lost an extra 20 lbs.I had my first implants in Las Vegas in the 90's during the Baywatch era. The look was much more *fake* than it is now. I have though for a very long time about removing these oversized implants. Finally Dr. Schmidt made me feel comfortable and confidant with this decision. I was not losing my body, I was making it feel more livable.First I had to have my saline implants drained which I was so nervous about but it was really easy and not the least bit painful. Literally a weight off my shoulders. I had to wait 2 weeks for my skin to retract as much as it would naturally, then I could have surgery.I was well prepared. At Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners they are very careful about making sure I was healthy for surgery. I had to have a recent mammogram and an EKG, as well as blood work. I was the first patient for surgery and I was the only patient for the practice at that time, since they only see one at a time. It's not a hospital with rotating staff and patients. I was dropped off right at the front door and Melissa the nurse met me at the car and took me back. Dr. Schmidt drew on me and discussed her plan. I wanted the smallest implants possible and she explained that she needed to keep the size proportionate to my chest wall, but she would go as small as appropriate. She clearly knew exactly what she was doing. My nurse Melissa was the sweetest person, very gentle and kind. She put me at east. The Operating Room nurses and the Anesthesiologist all came in to greet me, introduce themselves, and discuss the procedure. I felt like I had everyone's undivided attention.The MD anesthesiologist explained that she would put medications in the iv so that I would wake up without nausea or pain. It was true, I drifted off peacefully and woke up peacefully in post-op. I was in a heated blanket and super comfortable. My caretaker picked me up right in the room with the car pulled up just steps from the door. It was extremely private and easy. I thought ahead to pack a blanket and pillow in the car so I could rest comfortably on the drive home.I spent a few days at home recovering with my family then went back to work quickly. I had to limit my movement but I really wasn't in pain. Dr. Schmidt called me the night of surgery to check in on me, and saw me in the office the very next day. She is so on top of things. I knew what to expect, had all of my questions answered, and , more importantly, I was LISTENED TO. Dr. Schmit said she heard me and put in the smallest silicone implants that fit my body. I am THRILLED.8 months later I am still so happy, I wonder why I ever doubted this decision. I have received complimentary endermologie treatments on my liposuction areas to reduce swelling and promote a smoother result, and V Beam and Microneedling on my scars to reduce the appearance of scars. Dr. Schmidt and the entire team at the Plastic Surgery Partners have been wonderful. So professional, thorough, and extremely skilled.

While I loved the dress, I spent a good portion of the night checking, rearranging, and lifting my pancake breasts to make sure they stayed where they were supposed to. That was the tipping point that told me scheduling the Breast Augmentation was a must.I met with Dr Schmidt one last time to finalize the plans and implant size. She did a fantastic job of really helping me to feel comfortable with my decision. While she remained incredibly professional, she was still very down to earth and understood my wants.My next appointment was with the Nurse Bethany, who provided me with a personalized binder laying out every detail of the procedure. This included information on Dates for all my post op appointments, prescriptions, consent forms, financials, pre and post op care, etc. Any question I could have had from that moment forward was referenced in my binder. I felt at ease. And even excited!The morning of my procedure I checked in at the front and was promptly greeted by Melissa,RN who would be with me for all the pre-op. She was wonderful. Melissa talked me through each step and made sure to check in on how I was feeling, if I had any concerns, or needed anything to be more comfortable. Prior to going under I also met the anesthesiologist and the post op nurse Tran. It speaks volumes to the amount of personalized care and attention to detail this office has; I didn’t just feel like another surgery. I felt very valued and cared for as an individual.My recovery has been a breeze. Never has my pain exceeded a 3. I have followed the instructions of the post op care and everything seems to be going exactly as planned. I couldn’t be more happy with my decision to go with Dr. Schmidt and Blue Water Plastic Surgery Team!

Noelle Gagnon: Dr. Schmidt did it again! After completing a very successful upper bleph on my husband she and her surgical team performed the same surgery on me. I had been talking about getting this procedure done for quite some time. I can’t believe I waited this long. It was surprising how quick and easy the whole process was. I am usually pretty nervous about getting things like this done, but from the moment I met with Dr. Schmidt she made me feel like I was her only patient. I never felt rushed or like I was taking too much of her time. She listened and answered every one of my many questions even though I had already been through the process with my husband. kmg22523: I wanted to let everyone know about my great experience I had with Dr. Alexandra Schmidt at Blue Water Plastic Surgery Partners. I needed surgery to correct my upper eyelids because they were beginning to impair my vision, so I decided to do something about it. I met with Dr. Schmidt for a consult and was glad I did. She immediately put me at ease while explaining the procedure. During the consult she said I would be a great candidate for this type of surgery, and I should see an amazing result. The actual procedure took about an hour and was performed under local anesthesia, right there in their state-of-the-art surgical wing. I was able to drive home shortly after the surgery and was working from home the following day and back in the office the following week. I couldn't believe how easy the whole process and procedure was and with little to no pain. I am extremely glad that I made the call. They took great care of me!
