WRAL Nights Of Lights: what do users think?
Chris B.O. Agala, Ph.D.: That’s magical! Best experience!
Rachel Phillips: We went Christmas Eve. Traffic flow was well-marked and very smooth. We did not get a fast pass, and traffic was one line (not side by side). We didn't feel rushed through the line nor did we have to sit and wait at displays for long. Thank you to everyone who got displays back up after the strong winds of the 23rd! Favorites were the "vortex tunnel" towards the end, the dinos, the neon glow balls/bubbles, and the winter wonderland section. This is a definite holiday favorite for our family & hope to go for many years.
La'Treese Emerson: Unfortunately, this experience was not great. The light displays weren't unique and it seems like this was just thrown together. I am from PA and Hershey Park does this same concept for the same price except its PHENOMENAL. I was hoping for better. Please put more thought and love into this display in the future. #justmylittleopinion
Kristina Grabowski: $30! Horribly overpriced. We drove so slow and were still through it in 10 minutes. So many gaps where more lights could have gone. So much space and nothing special at all. Very underwhelming and disappointing. We went with several people in 2 cars. $60 for 10 minutes is crazy and will never go again. Will support local lights next time.
Hans Kindsgrab: Great location and light were nice we did see but felt overpriced at $30 for a 15 min drive but more than time it was not good with 2 car lanes so you only get to see one side of the lights. Will not be back unless changes are made. Lots of better light options we have seen over the years without 2 lanes.
libertad villalba: I expected a lot more. It is too simple. Nothing exciting at all. Expensive for what it is. So disappointed.
James Sara: Save your money. You can drive through your neighborhood for free and see more lights than what this place had to offer. It’s actually embarrassing that they charge so much for so little. We drove very slowly and got done in 10-15 minutes. Please don’t waste your time or gas.
Chelsea Emmerich: We got to the end and my husband and I looked at eachother and said in unsion: “wait, is that it?”. Underwhelming experience and not worth the price. We did however have a great time at the Chinese lantern festival in Cary!
Leslie Mangum: I don’t understand the bad reviews. Yes you have to wait a little bit, yes a light or 2 is out which is normal, but driving through this Christmas wonderland is quite fun! Especially when you play the audio for each section of the experience. My kids loved it. Maybe the price is a bit steep, but overall we would do it again.
Alexander James: Not worth the time and money. Only a hand full of mesmerized lights. Definitely overpriced, and highly overrated. Christmas lights was just boring boring boring. My 2yr old had very little amusement, and wanted to leave early.
Ch Mass: It could of had more room to put the lights but still cool though the traffic was bad and crazy people were cutting the lineThere should be more line guards
Audrey Carans: Absolutely loved it. I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews, perhaps they didn’t take the time to look into how long the course of lights is. They are clear that it’s a mile. Went tonight and adored the lights and it took us 25 minutes to get through A MILE. Perfect! Educate yourself.
Jonathan Cappella: Very beautiful!
Bacon Eggs and Asphalt: Although I appreciate the amount of work that goes into this presentation each year, the cost for what you get out of it is way out of bounds. Not large truck (dually) friendly and you're in the front gate and out the back gate in 8 minutes. Won't be going here again.
Garry McCormick: For what it offered our two year old grandson enjoyed it immensely. That's enough for me to rate this as worth it. Both the express lane and regular lane enter off of Western Blvd and are clearly marked. Plan on about 20 minutes or so once you get up to the main part.
Gregory Lyon: We enjoyed it. Yes $20 is $20 but for a family of 6. That is a good price, but for only 2 people probably not. Also DON'T buy the Fast Lane, it was 14 min slower. Igloos were kind of cool. They are giant bubbles, worth it for big families.
Elizabeth Owaka: Was a fun experience for the family, but was not worth $20 for 15 minutes of lights.
Kacie Owens: Good to do with the family

Dorothea Dix Park: what do users think?
Econo Auto Sales inc: Long walk, but I like it
Sheri McCormack: Perfect place to sit in a hammock or to take photos!
Jim Bullard: Beautiful but should have a little longer for the blooms to open
CariAnn Watson: Sunflowers are on their way
Maria Fernandez: July 4th at Dorothea Dix Park, was very entertaining, many dos trucks, games for kids, god music and more
Lourdes George: Visitando conociendo el lugar muy acogedor y agradable.
Jie Yuan: Under construction
Keshia C.: Great place to lounge and or be active.Playground: Small but nice.Restrooms: N.aDog-friendliness: Great for for pets.Picnic area: Def options
Irina *****: Peaceful park
Noah Winstead: Highly recommend checking out the hammocks setup all around the big field. Beautiful spot to get some shade and relax with a book and loved-one, particularly on a weekday when it’s less crowded!
Arrenda Renea Harris: Visit husband
William Ramos: This place is good for walking 🚶‍♂️ or riding bicycle. It also has grilling area.
Dan Miller (HighTechGeek): Beautiful park but needs updated comfortable picnic tables and benches and seating for larger, elderly and disabled people. Everyone likes comfortable seating. The ones near one parking lot are very rough concrete with concrete block supports, up on a hill and the foundations are nearly washed out with tree roots all around. Very sharp and uncomfortable (painful) to sit on and not enough room for larger people between the bench and table. Please provide more wider, comfortable benches for everyone.
Carsten Mølsmark: Beautiful park with nice variety of nature and interesting old buildings.
Alexis: Restrooms: Porta potties
Clay Henderson: I was cured of what ailed me here. The cages were extra strong, and the administered shock therapy, well, it seems to have worked. I have lost all impulses to rebel against the system. Witnessed a pretty built native American man smoother another patient with a pillow and proceed to throw a sink out of one of the windows and then run off into the end credits. But the music was great. Would recommend.
Monserrat A.: Nice park. Paved paths. Good signage.
Nicole Briscoe: They had a movie in the park and food and refreshments we had a wonderful time
Harish Raghuvaran: Wide open spaces and very convenient to visit with family when also coming to the Raleigh farmers market.
Star Harrold: DREAMVILLE!!!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGG what a beautiful time this was- Love yours!
Jamilah Peterson: Nice park experience- went there for the Dreamville Festival. Did not have to worry about bugs or anything of the sort.

Michael Glass: I started my visit in the main building. The first thing I noticed was the unusual mix of art from different countries displayed together. While the collection in the main building was nice, there was nothing exceptional.Having spent more than 90 minutes in the first gallery. I was hesitant in going into the second or east galleryHaving spent more than 90 minutes in the first gallery. I was hesitant in going into the second or east gallery but decided. But decided to take a quick look. I'm so glad I did.In this building, I discovered a large collection of Remington and Roden sculptures, an impressive collection of named American and French artists. The Egyptian and Asian exhibits were impressive. The big surprise was the Jewish collection of silver pieces. There was also a large collection of African/Black American garments, but after spending 4 hours visiting other exhibits, I was too exhausted to continue. While not world class, this museum is worth a visit.

Raleigh Convention Center: what do users think?
Bryan Gibbons: Great convention. We attended the Yu-Gi-Oh! National Championship July 2023. Brilliantly cold air-conditioning when it was so hot outside. Rentable electronic scooters all around to travel quickly worked great. Free parking for our Sunday was a big bonus. Concessions were also great with no waits.
Plus One Gaming: Brilliantly cold air-conditioning on a hot July day. Plenty of restrrooms, staff and concessions as well.
Naser shamma: Clean and organize
One Bad Dog: Great crowd control
Merr Games: Decent space, kind of toasty.
Dawn B: There for Apex high school graduation. Very clean.
Shawna Millard: We were super impressed by their efficiency in getting the vendors in and unloaded and helping everyone know where they should be
Mukesh Lavri: Good place for conversation
Brantley Murphy: Not a bad place (facility wise). No food options in the convention center when I have attended. You have to go a good distance on the streets to find very much of anything. Streets in the area can be a little sketchy most any time of day.
Stephen Spencer: I hosted an event here and the experience was amazing. They have a loading dock that is able to accommodate a large box truck and freight elevators that open up to the convention rooms. The staff was extremely professional and helpful. I would definitely book this venue again.
Lassana Sanogo: Great
Franklin Stiven: Great attention and evethingh nice
G B: Great place to visit cool events in Downtown Raleigh
JC 4all: I don't like coming here: if I do visit it's for graduations or work. The parking is way too much of an issue. The way that the whole place is set up, it's like a maze: incredibly useless. It's too much walking, too many doors, escalators. The flow of the interior is VERY unnecessary.
Gloria Batchelor: Was there for my niece graduation and had an amazing time
Angie Hartley: We take our kids to BrickUniverse Lego Expo at Raleigh Convention Center. This place is easy to find. You can park in the building right behind it or you can park outdoor which is right across the convention center. We parked outdoor (less walk😀). We paid $10.50 for all day parking. Download the app Parkmobile. You will need to pay online.
Angie Ray: We were there for my son's high school graduation. SGHS Class of 2023!!
oofers 1: It’s big. Had my graduation there. One of the seats provided was broken for the person next to me.
吴锐恒(Ruiheng Edbalt Wu): Had a really good memory here. The facility is good.
Ceant'e Pope: The perfect venue for events...
Robert Young: They didn't have enough exit doors open after the graduation ceremony. Too many people trying to exit at the same gate.
