Stylists are not at all professional, complaining about work schedules, work hours, their boss, etc. with each other and not paying any attention to my child. One time, they refused to wash my daughter’s hair because I was a little late (understandable) and they said they didn’t have any time due to the next customer’s appointment. However, after her haircut, the stylist proceeded to go to another station and talk to that stylist and her customer for 15-20 minutes while we waited for the nail station to free up. That would’ve been more than enough time to wash my daughter’s hair. Plus, they made me pay for the wash and style, even though they didn’t do it. Don’t even get me started on the nail station. Just see photos taken as soon as we got outside. The lady was staring off into the distance while painting her nails (my daughter quietly pointed this out to me).

Ramona D'Amico: We've been using this Sharkey's location for a while since we live ten minutes away. I usually take our four years old son for a haircut every other month. His haircut takes an average of ten minutes. I was always satisfied with the service and I thought that $25 + $5 tip was worth it until today. Unfortunately we arrived fifteen minutes late to our appointment. When we got there, the receptionist and Fatima the hairdresser were sitting down and explained to us that they give eight minutes of waiting per appointment. So, we were too late. I understand, but there were no customers in the salon and the next one will arrive in ten to fifteen minutes which gives plenty of time for my son's haircut. Then, Fatima the hairdresser starts talking in a way that she is ready to do us a favor by taking us since we were so late. She requested that I should leave a good review on their website. It felt that this will be a free haircut and I owe at least a good review. Ten minutes later the haircut looked ok and the next customer arrives. My son was left with hair on his face and pants as Fatima walked away with the new customer. I asked her for a towel so I could clean my son. She handed me the towel and quietly again walked away towards the new customer. I was shocked that $30 later I had to clean my son and there was no "thank you". It felt that these two ladies did a favor to us even though we paid them. I guarantee you that we'll never go back. I have high expectations for a ten minutes service that costs $30. DJ: The manager was trying her best to be professional, however, the haircut was horrible. I had to point out things that needed to be fixed, and it was super choppy and not well blended. They also gave my son a girls “first haircut” certificate because they were out of Boys, but charged us the same. There was an assistant who worked there, younger female with purple highlights. TestE TestH: First off, I want to say that I normally have a great experience here. Today, both of my kids had appointments at the same time. One with Carol and one with Fatima. My child who was with Carol had an amazing experience, which is why I still gave 4 stars but my concern is over my other child's appointment. When I got there Fatima was still with another client. No problem, I get that things happen to make you run behind some, but what I didn't like was that after she finished the girls hair, she proceeded to do her nails and help her pick out a headband to buy, even when she knew we had been waiting almost 30 minutes past our scheduled time. I have a daughter and I know that every time I have gone, Fatima has never done her nails, it has always been one of the ladies there that doesn't do hair, but just manages the day to day needs like answering the phones, cleaning up after appointments and such. I don't understand why in this situation that was not done. It's also not that no one else was there to do it, because the other lady was there and able to assist. She did my daughters nails on this visit as well and let the hair stylist continue on with the next customer. Again - I will still continue to go here, but please keep this in mind that it made me feel like Fatima valued the other customer more than my children and I because she went out of her way to do extra stuff for this other customer that is not normally done by the stylist even though she knew we had been waiting.Servicio:Cortes de cabello

Allie Thurkill (Sock Thief): It's a cute little salon, a lot like JJ's Kids Cuts in Raleigh. My son got the best haircut he's had in his two years here on Earth, and got a free balloon at the end.

carmen rivera: First time for my 3 year old granddaughter for a trim, git ger nails done and she loved it and I was very pleased with Carol.My granddaughter felt comfortable and we left very happy with the results.

Maritza Quiles: pretty expensive for a kids barber husband was in Shock that it was 30$ would of been more if i didnt ask for a discount. I did leave $10 tip but not worth it. I know they give incentives for kids but they aren't worth that price of a haircut.

Rosemary Ray: My appointment on March 31 was very disappointing. I had made an appointment earlier in the week for 130 on the 31st. When I arrived, I signed in. Someone acknowledged that I was there, but didn’t give me any wait time.. 20 minutes later, I was told by the hairstylist she just had to clean up and would be with me. I sat down at the chair 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment. When I mentioned to the hairstylist about my time being limited, she had said I was a walk in(I wasn’t). I felt very unimportant to her and she said that it may be better not to have the haircut. So I did not get the haircut.

Trinity Love: Llevo mucho tiempo sin escribir esto, pero la semana pasada, el lunes 17 de octubre, me detuve para ver cómo me cortaban el cabello. Faltaban estilistas e incluso el gerente no estaba allí. No sé quién es Holly, pero estaba haciendo un excelente trabajo manteniendo las cosas en marcha y habló con todos los que estaban en el salón. A pesar de que no pude entrar para que me arreglaran el cabello en ese momento, ella hizo que no fuera estresante para aquellos de nosotros que estábamos esperando.

korey kubacki: Fui para un simple corte de maquinilla #6 y #3. Rapido y Facil. Gabriel se sobresaltó y se sintió y sonó como si literalmente me estuviera arrancando el cabello, no cortándolo. Pensé que estaba siendo un cobarde y la dejé continuar por los lados. Cuando llegó al cabello más grueso en la parte superior, no pude soportarlo más y era obvio que estaba teniendo problemas. Su supervisor se acercó y tomó un golpe y simplemente me arrancó el pelo. Ella fue maravillosa y me cuidó. Gabriel nunca dijo lo siento ni nada. Fui específico, lo quería el tiempo suficiente para poder colgarlo si hace demasiado calor y ella escuchó y me dio la longitud deseada mientras se aseguraba de que todos los callejones sin salida desaparecieran... Era muy educada y dulce para hablar... ¡Mi cabello se ve bien con algunas capas y se ve saludable después de años! No me presionaron para obtener productos y el que obtuve fue porque en realidad vi que funcionaba bien cuando me peinó... No puedo agradecer lo suficiente a Lisa...
