Working with Jill and Valerie at the Chatham Street Branch in Cary has been a breeze. They are kind, customer focused, and extremely responsive. The staff actually seem to like the company and their work, which is rare. In addition to being kind personable folks, the staff at Fidelity are about their business and get things done for customers swiftly. This means that if you plan to handle some account matters, you must come during working hours. In addition, New Year's Day has passed and is still closed. Third, there are fees for depositing paychecks.

Tim Turner: When I was a boy of 10 in 1972 my parents moved to Cary and they chose Fidelity as their bank; we primarily used the one at Chatham & Kildaire Farm but it recently closed so I'll review this one.1980 they gave me my first loan when the transmission in my Road Runner blew up so that left a good impression. I moved away in 1989 and didn't think much about them after that. Fast forward to 2020 and I'm dealing with my late parent's affairs; Valerie Quinn has been AMAZING in helping me through all the things that come with dealing with 2 estates 6 Months apart and because of that I kept that $ at Fidelity rather than closing accounts and transferring to my bank(s). (Still deciding on their SECU accounts but that's for another review!)Please open a branch in Wilmington NC! I drive up to Cary often but still it'd be nice to have one here.
Next Level Physio: I didn't realize how good a local bank could be until I opened an account at Fidelity Bank in Cary. I am still amazed by how on top of things this branch is with regards to opening and managing accounts. Ashley B. has been a big help and continues to check in how things are going for me and my business. I highly recommend Fidelity Bank in Cary for both business and personal checking and savings accounts.

David: The employees are nice but the bank itself is horrible. Online banking is a nightmare to use, avoid like the plague if you use online banking at all. Be prepared to have holds placed on your cards/accounts and being told how much of your money you can spend.

E: Horrible bank. They took over my mortgage loan, I sent in the form for direct debit to pay the mortgage, and they never set it up. Mortgage went 2 months late when I thought it was being debited, dropped my credit score 120 points.Talked to customer service and somehow it's my fault that THEY didn't set up the payments after they even acknowledged they received my paperwork... 👎
Constance Smith: This bank!!! I started w Fifth Third b/c I had a family member working as a manager. She's gone, and I'm stuck!! This particular Cary location ATM has taken my money twice and my card once; although I was able to get my card back, I had to wait almost a week after I filed a claim to get my money back. Fifth Third, in general, is a horrible company to bank with. This review is based on my experience.
Dori Witek: I would give no stars if possible. The worst banking experience ever, and I have finally closed all my accounts and moved on. Not wasting my time trying to help them get things right--this bank is completely broken, the systems fail continuously, the staff is incredibly untrained and unprofessional, it is unrecognizable from just a few years ago. A warning to anyone considering a banking relationship with Fifth Third...don't do it! Find a bank who earns and respects your business and is competent and honest when handling your money.

nick b: Edit : i want a regionals phone call ASAP. :Well... where can I start, I opened an account online this Tuesday. My payroll went into the bank Wednesday because of the 2 day early thing. Than 5th 3rd froze my account for fraud. I work in banking for over 10 years in my AML department so I know how these things go, so I talked to their fraud department. They said I either need 2 photo ID'S which the patriot act states since I'm a u.s citizen and not a non resident or resident alien.. I only need a u.s drivers license and a debit card. Or 5th third wanted a photo ID, a bill and my social security card. Well..being 27 I did not have my social security card on me but I had my tax returns printed which has my social security number on it. I printed out my duke bill and had a valid ID while I'm in front of a banker while she's on the phone with fraud department. I am who I say I am. But wait there's more. It wasn't enough to release my direct deposit. They said they could send a text message to me to verify me. But my phone number was too new so I wasn't in a phone verification system. I told them I have an old number that I could try to access, they said that number would be fine because it's in their system. But At&T already shut that line off...I had to pay at&t 133$ to turn that phone back on just to receive a text from 5th 3rds fraud department just so they can release the hold off my account so I can pay rent! Because if not I was going to have to order a social security card and have it mailed to me. I was going to contact some law firms because I'm in AML, and what you guys put me through i would of ran you through the ringer. I hope everyone sees what's happened to me and thinks twice before 5th 3rd. You've violated my rights.

John Norris: Literally the worst customer service i have ever experienced. To set up the smallest things such as auto pay, you will be on hold for over 2 hours without being able to set up a callback number. Everything about the loan process here is horrible. The website is also very counter-intuitive and seems purposefully confusing. I would steer clear from this company at all cost if possible.

James Kelley: This bank is terrible to deal with and most of the employees lie terribly. I have been with this bank ever since they were Old Kent and they've gone done hill. They robbed me of over $290 in fees this week and refuse to give me my money back for their error. Apparently their systems don't work well together, so if you open one account at one branch and then open up another account in another branch they lie and tell you they linked your accounts together so you won't get overdraft fees. ALL LIES!!! Going to choose my account tomorrow and I can't wait. This is not the first time I've had troubles with this trashy bank and their terrible Customer Service. I can't wait for the day they sell out or go under!!!

Eric Kang: Had a $20 dollar bill that had 5% missing piece on the bottom and dirty looking but you can see all serial numbers. The teller glanced at it and said they don't take contaminated money. I called wells Fargo customer service number and they told me they do accept it and maybe it's just that branch. He suggested trying another branch.
Sandi Hopers: Walked in to open a business account. Talked to the business banker who had appointment coming up still he got Steven Megaloudis to open the account for Me . Very courteous., fast , knowledgeable. Thank you guys .
Christopher Scalcucci: Sat with my wife for half an hour waiting, while they continued to take walk-in customers. One of the bankers walked out to greet multiple walk-ins and serve them immediately. Ignoring us entirely.It was very obvious they were serving older customers who were dressed sharply and did not respect me for being in a hoodie and jeans.The descrimination was clear. What they don't realize is that this is common engineer clothing, and you've lost a customer who by no means had a meager account with Wells Fargo.When I expressed my frustration we were again ignored.

Erik Erb: What an amazing group of people. I went in yesterday to buy a vehicle from a private party, with my mom joining me to help me through the process. First off, I didn’t end up buying the vehicle, the guy was trying to pull a fast one on me. The guy ended up raising his voice and got pretty mad because he knew he got busted. Every single teller and Wells Fargo team member jumped in to tell us that what he was doing was not only sketchy, but also wrong. If it weren’t for the input from everyone there, I’m not sure what would have happened. I wish we lived closer so that I can just walk in and talk with everyone! What an awesome, enlightening, and also mildly frustrating experience (the frustration came from dealing with the vehicle owner who was trying to scam me) Again, kudos to the young gentlemen who put that scam artist in his place for interrupting my mom, as well as him. Thank you.

I have been here at lunch time on many occasions and the wait is always short and they always seem to be well staffed. Had to have a document notarized for a claim and was in and out in 5 min. Overall i have no complaints and would recommend them despite recent issues due to their prevalence in the raleigh/cary area

I spent 45 minutes for deposit here. Next day similar transition at kildaire farm took on 9 minutes.

Kierstin Murray: I’ve used this bank for a few years now, and not once have I had any issues that couldn’t be fixed. The previous branch manager Nix was amazing, and always understood what I needed. Tristin (the lead banker) always goes above and beyond for any customer. He is tentative and understanding. He is patient when I am explaining what I need taken care of and it is completed when I am at the branch or if not, it is completed same day and he ALWAYS follows up to let me know the status. I couldn’t ask for a better banker to have on my side. Tristin is the heart and soul of the Cary branch, and is the reason I continue to stay.
Mark: Bad and rude customer service, I was addressed by "man" instead of "sir" (hey man, yes man, etc). They were not friendly and I did not feel like they cared about helping me
