Red Roof Inn Raleigh Southwest - Cary: what do users think?
Marie G: Stayed here after bad weather and flight problems caused me to grab the least expensive hotel in the vicinity, but I would stay here again.Cons: Yes, there was a bad smell. It went away in the room after running the AC a while and wasn't an issue. They also have limited supplies if you are stranded like I was, unprepared for an overnight stay (no toothpaste).Pros: Clean, multiple locks on the doors, cheap vending machine for an emergency meal, and super nice staff.
La Rup: Bonita provided excellent customer service - went above and beyond. Will definitely be backRooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
D Knight: Angel gave great customer service and good hospitalityRooms: GreatRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Tina Reyes: This hotel has a horrible smell. The beds are very uncomfortable. It’s like sleeping on a tin can. It’s currently 5:15 PM and I still do not have clean fresh towels. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Santos Amaya: Angel is best, she did check in for us. She stays on smile and very good customer service. Will be come back againRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
La'Trece Green: This place is a joke! Was told they couldn’t get my keys out the elevator shaft..lied and said they couldn’t help but called the police on us..only for them to help us get the key out SMH! Was forced out while on crutches me and my family.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Héctor Lucena: Terrible service the rooms do not have a refrigerator or microwaveRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
La'Trece: This place is a disgrace! Manager has a nasty attitude and very racist towards black people! The rooms stayed nasty 🤮 had to constantly beg for towels and bath cloths! Y’all need to do better with service!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
brittany britz: The staff is very sweet and the coffee is good. I read other reviews that claimed a smell but I didn’t notice anything. I haven’t seen bugs. 3rd day. Also a great place to sit in bed and eat chocolate with stuffed animals!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Lassana Sanogo: They are ok
karen Lampman: I wish there was an option to choose zero. Checked in last last night 06/03. Front desk associate had nails longer than mine. Before giving us the room keys he wanted to check on the room first. He comes back down hands us the keys and tells us the elevator was broke, we had to use the stairs. Room 210. We open the door and the room stunk so bad of cigarette smoke. We turn around and go back downstairs and tell the associate this. Now if he supposedly did check this room he would know right away. He tells us there is only one other room which is a suite. Fine. Now this one is on the 3rd floor again.. elevator is not working. The stairways smelled so bad of urine and just run down. We go into room 301 and it smelled like a mix of both urine and mildew. Now contemplating if I can even stay in this room my husband goes to the restroom and says get your things we aren’t staying here! Roaches all over the bathroom. We grab our belongings and open the door and see baby roaches all over. We go back downstairs and tell the associate. He begins to laugh and tell us the room was just cleaned as if I was making this up. I told him to go check for himself. He had the nerve to ask me if I wanted another room? I told him absolutely not. I will never ever stay here. What a disgusting dump. Read all of the negative reviews before staying here because I promise you they are true. Worst hotel I've ever stepped foot in. Absolutely run down disgustingly dirty urinal roach motel is what this place is
AndieGlam TV: Halls smell like urine. Covered my nose everytime I left my room until I got outside. Bed makes entirely too much noise when you move on it, also staff went in my room when I had the privacy tag on my door. Left the door locked with the tag, and came back to the door cracked. They’re lucky that nothing was missing or out of place because I would’ve sued the living daylights out of them.
Ashley Barrett: Killed 2 roaches during my 3 day stay. Bed had a huge dip that made it terribly uncomfortable. The food smell in the hallway and room was so bad that I could smell it on my clothes when I got home. There were always people loitering in the hallways and walkway when I was coming and going. I did not feel safe. Very obvious drug use. I tried to get a refund and was denied. Pros were the room was the cheapest in the area. Not worth it though.
G Nasty: Mani, the manager was great, let us check in early, didn’t charge us extra, let our dog stay for free, put us in a nice clean room. Guy was so helpful and quick, he represents what customer service is actually supposed to beRooms: Clean and comfortable.Safety: Incident happened at a room in the same hall as us, cops were there within 2 min and quietly resolved issue.
Janice Harrison: Let me start by saying that the room was clean and smelled nice. When I was given my first room it was already occupied. Had to walk back downstairs because the elevator was not working. No ice machines work in the main building with the check-in desk. You have to go to their second building for ice. You can't get into the second building because your room key won't work. Will not be staying here again.
Maureen Woodruff: I have been staying there on a regular basis since I'm in transition and the staff have been very friendly, the facility has been accommodating and the amenities are very good. The price has been reasonable and its convenience to the area with shops and restaurants. it has been great! I highly recommend it!MaureenRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Charity Spradling: Angel is nothing short of amazing! Best service and super friendly!! Would recommend 1000 times againWalkability: So many places around to walk to instead of using gas

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Raleigh - Cary: what do users think?
Jack Hisey: This hotel is in the middle of many good restaurants and shopping. They do both Doubletree and Hilton proud. Do not miss a chance to stay there if you can.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Philip Darko: My family and I slept here on 7/2/23. Great location, quite neighborhood, great breakfast, cleaned, outstanding customer service at the front desk and from breakfast servers. Kudos to the front desk worker, Willie, the best.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Nova Erica Tan: The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Always offered us cookies at check in and check out. The location is nearby several stores like Target and many restaurants. Also only 15 minutes from the airport. The area is quiet and not far from Raleigh. I would stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Mark Heptonstall: Great hotel, staff always super helpful and friendly, especially the lady on breakfast. Has a pool and gym which opens really early (Great for uk travellers awake at 5am). Also an easy walk (not a US thing to do) to Target or to food.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Aymen: Very disappointing! Breakfast food was the worst I've had in a Doubletree. ( been to at least 30 different doubletrees in the last 5 years alone)The hotel itself is very small and the bar is also the breakfast buffet area which is also the lobby sitting area. OH and did I mention the breakfast?? Goodness it was so bad! The server lady was nice, thats about it! No quality and no variety!!!Hampton in breakfast is about 5 times better ( and I dont really like hampton inn breakfast)They said they upgraded my room which I did not request or ask for but still Idk what they upgraded it to??? It was the exact same type of room I booked and always book. No Diamond member amenities...etcWill not come back!Front Desk people are just adequate. Bar Tender does not even try. I only asked for a drink once, she told me no hello or no smile or nothing, she was behind the counter and talking to a customer and casually looked at me and said "I'm closed" then proceeded with her conversation for 15 more mins all while standing where real bar tenders stand to serve and work. Now that is not only rude but not smart. She could have said I'm closing in 5 mins... I wanted to grab a drink and take it upstairs with me, it would have lasted her 20 seconds total.
Lattoya Serrano: The hotel was very clean and my room smelled lemon fresh. The staff was friendly and the cookies were amazing. The elevators were clean, and upon arrival the parking and premises were neat and inviting. The location is near food and stores. And no one was annoyed with my repeat asking of cookies 😅 . I can not wait to stay again. 10 out of 10!
Shirley Walker: Rooms: Nice rooms. CleanHotel highlights Quiet …More
Santiago Martinez: Rooms: ExcellentNearby activities: Can walk aroundSafety: GreatFood & drinks: Great
Ethan Hulsey: Stayed there for a week. Staff was friendly. Very clean. My only issue was how flat the pillows were. You needed three pillows to equal one normal pillow.
Brandi W: This hotel is in a great location, very close (walkable) to many dining and shopping options. There is a Target right next door and a large movie theater across the street. Hotel was clean and our room was clean and comfortable. I don’t care for the pocket door for the bathroom, but that is just personal preference. The bed was comfortable, large flat screen TV, plenty of room to work and sit. There was no microwave in our room but there was a small fridge. The hotel was quiet. All employees we encountered were so kind and helpful. The hotel has a nice restaurant/bar right off lobby area.
Calona Floyd: The entire staff were exceptionally friendly. The rooms were clean, the food was tasty, and they provided baby cribs.I would like to highlight Pam and Nikeshia, they went above and beyond to make sure my families stay was comfortable and pleasant. They not only were hospitable, but they were also very kind and helpful.I will most definitely return because of that!
Ursah Major: Great room! The only downside is the lighting in the bathroom... not great for putting makeup etc. Everything else was excellent 😄Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Debbie Smith: Hotel was above what we have seen in many years. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was especially good. Nice to have an on-site restaurant. Highly recommend this location.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Skye Vogelesang: This hotel was great! Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Soundproof. Great service. Indoor pool was a bit too cold for me. But otherwise, fantastic.Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Trevor Traub: This is an older hotel, but the service here was a cut above. Especially the very nice lady that runs breakfast. I think the breakfast is the best among the hotels in the area. Best service I have had at a hotel in a long time. Well done to the employees and managers.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Alexa Mahone: Always a pleasure staying here whenever we're in the area I already know exactly where to stay it's nice and clean and the staff are great helpful and friendly but the absolute best part of the stay are the Cookies 🍪 Just the cookies alone will keep you coming back 😁Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More

Best Western Plus Cary Inn - Nc State: what do users think?
DT Frady: EDIT TO ADD:I mentioned the desk clerk was going to offer a partial refund for this stay but that I did not receive it. What I DID receive was several declined attempts by someone trying to use my card number to make online purchases. The card company was able to tell me WHERE the attempts were made and they were AT THIS HOTEL! At the card company's urging, I cancelled that card and they issued a new card. BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL!We are in the area a few times a year on business and this has been our "go to" hotel in the past. Our last stay here was at the end of April (and I MEAN our LAST stay). At check in the desk clerk was rude (I found out later she was actually the manager). The key cards did not work and she acted like I was simply too stupid to work them. Second try one STILL did not work and the other took a lot of trying before it did. The room smelled musty and there were only 3 flat, useless pillows on the king sized bed. The desk lamp (with the charging ports) had a short in it and sparks shot out of it when I turned it on. Thankfully we were only there for one night. The clerk at checkout was much more pleasant and, when I told him about the lamp, offered a discount on the room (which I never received). Best Western has always been my preferred place to stay on trips....not anymore.
Farhan Sadique: Had to spend couple if night for a conference, and I liked the room. Not bad considering the price, and they offer complimentary breakfast which is always great. Smooth stay, good parking, no issues.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Micheal Dixon: Had to stay for personal reasoning, and then had to extend for an extra day and when I went to the front desk Keysha at the front desk and Joakima (General Manager) were nothing but exceptional and made me feel better even with the situation I was going through! People are who makes exceptional environments!!!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Cynthia Hughes: It was definitely not the best Best Western we have been to. It is older, worn, and needs to be updated.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Abel Ramos: Excellent service !!!!Very nice place to stayRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Chris Ross: Good placeRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bigmindcreator TS: It's there for you but seriously outdated. I've stayed at this location many times and not much changes as the years go by. Today though my opinion of this place was completely changed as it was the first time I'd had to stay in the extended stay building next to the main building. The entrance had a strong odor of cigarettes or marijuana. The doors don't even close correctly and even if they did, they aren't locked anyway. The main building is old but the extended stay building is old and behind the times. It feels like a weird mix of 1980s and 2020s in one room. Certainly not the good bits. The vents in my room had dust and it's starting to look like things are falling apart. The air conditioning unit itself looked decrepit and was very loud so I opted to not use it due to allergy and noise concerns. Certainly not worth the $124 I had to spend on it for a night. It tells you a lot when the windows in your room are still able to be opened. They are doing renovations to rooms in this part of the hotel but they choose to conduct the work at night so in the long run with time, money, and unhappy customers, is it really worth it?It would be high time to just demolish and rebuild this location.Rooms: Old and outdated.Safety: Doors are not locked and I can hear smoke detectors chirping (low battery)Noteworthy details: Allergy Risk
Harold Manasco: Great breakfast !!Great place to stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Diane Williams: Check-in went very smoothly. Front Desk Rep was very helpful and informative. The room was very clean and comfortable.Great location, convenient to everything. Will absolutely stay here again!!Update: I stayed here again this weekend and it was great! Clean and well kept. The staff (from front desk to breakfast to housekeeping to maintenance) were all great.I absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in the area.
Steve Daughton: Awful hotel complete with roaches, filthy bathrooms, used washcloth dropped on my head from shower rod while taking shower first night, no maid service, no towels available from front desk-only pool towels I was told, one tiny garbage can for a five day stay, no lights in parking lot, completely dark, no visible security, back door propped open by brick, never locked, stairways blocked by people openly smoking weed, and overcharged to top it all off-very difficult to get adjustment even after two calls to management.
Derrion Henderson: Pros: Great locationCons: Horrible Customer Service. After calling the hotel a day prior to confirm reservation and potential early check-in, the manger on duty canceled my reservation before literal minutes before check-in and charged me an additional $200 to rebook the same room. Not only is this horrible business practice, it's also in violation of the fine print stated while booking the reservation.Don't book here. I normally opt for Springhill Suites next door (same owners), but they didn't have any available rooms. Do yourself a favor and opt for the same or just go somewhere else.
Michael Taylor: Came in from out of town.Rooms: So so. Guys was loud on business calls next door for hours..Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
LaMontspoom454!: Management meet expectations for the price, however. They need potatoes chips in their food market😋Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Cary: what do users think?
Veronica Calvin: This residential hotel is a great place to stay for a short or extended time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the facility is well kept, even with the constant traffic of guests (human and pets). Sonesta made my week-long stay in Cary a pleasure. This was my first time using this chain of hotels, and I look forward to using them again.Rooms: I like the layout of the bedroom and common area. Also, the rooms were clean. If an animal was previously in the room, I could not tell. (And believe me, I checked!)
Anthony Randall: It’s nice and clean. The bed is just a mattress on a wooden riser without boxsprings, It’s not comfortable.
mark portrick: Best extended suite brand. 2 bedroom unit felt like I was back in my condo. Clean and easy check in process.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Carissa Flowers: Pool is closed until health dept approves. Staff is very nice and I am a solo female traveler and feel 100% safe. Was woken by a dog barking 4 doors down but not a hotel issue. More of a owner issue. Very clean and love having a kitchen. Hotel doors lock at 10pm. Breakfast was okRooms: Very clean, spacious, beds comfortable didn't want to get out of it, kitchen has everything and no shortage of towels and sheets. Very accommodating.
Spencer B: This was my first stay at a Sonesta and I was very impressed. Natalie checked us in and she was so friendly and professional, there should be more people like her in this world. Anyway, the rooms were impeccably clean, the whole property was spotless. There was a fee for bringing a dog and I understand why, because they actually shampoo the carpet between guests with pets. I'm pretty sure most hotels don't do that. The housekeeping crew were all so nice and welcoming. Finally, the breakfast was a step above the rest, a nice surprise.
Kristen Navarro: Large rooms and buffet style breakfast
Ganesh Ram (GR): Rooms: Clean and well equipped suite.Safety: Location, staffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly …More

Laura Nelson: Angela and the front desk staff are amazing made my working birthday so special and even left a greeting card and treat in my room. Rooms are updated and clean with everything you need. Breakfast is convenient and you can eat in the lobby breakfast area or take it to your room. I definitely recommend this hotel!!!
Local Seafoodlover: Wonderful unexpected hotel! Had never stayed at a Sonesta before, but it was convenient for our visit to Cary, and one of few with a two-bedroom suite. Very spacious room and a full kitchen which we will take more advantage of next time. The fireplace was an excellent touch especially in the cool weather, and added really nice ambiance throughout the visit. Bed was comfortable enough, and bathroom had ample space. If I had one complaint, it would be the pillows were kind of limp. I like one with good support, but no problem bringing my own next time. Thank you for a nice visit, and we will be seeing you again!
Nancy Policastro: The girl at the front desk is very helpful, courteous and kind. The room was very clean and I liked the layout and design. Parking is $5.00 per day.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Kapil Patil: Very Clean and professionalRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Josh_Johnson: They seriously need to hire some people who know what they're doing because the people who were there when I stayed had no idea what was going on. I left my keys in my room when I went out and when I came back she told me that I wasn't staying in that room. They had canceled my keys and I had to get the manager to remake keys for me. I would never stay there again.Food & drinks: The breakfast that they advertise is a joke. Terrible!!!
Merlin Daniel: Good place to stay. But few minor things the management has to resolve
