We started at Bright Beginnings when my daughter was three months old, and she graduated from the pre school program earlier this year. My daughter has been excelling at kindergarten and according to her teacher, she is demonstrating mastery for some of the Wake County 1st grade standards. This is largely thanks to her time spent at Bright Beginnings CDC of Cary.

I must admit, I was a little sad that she wouldn't be able to attend the same pre k her sisters went to in FL, but boy was this a blessing in disguise! This was such an amazing school. Her teachers were so kind and wonderful! She learned soooo much. Way more than my other two did in pre k. I believe that thanks to her teachers and the education they offered her, she will be advanced in kindergarten. Such a bitter sweet moment to know she won't return. But I know that she will always remember her little school and teachers just as much as I will. Thank you Bright Beginnings for offering excellent early childhood education!

Those fears quickly dissipated upon meeting Lisa, the Director. Now that my child is attending full time, all fears are long gone. Everyone is so loving and caring, and our child is happy and thriving. I feel very confident in their ability to nurture and attend to all children in their care. So thankful I was able to find this hidden gem!

The building is beautiful , brightly painted colors inside and out , even I love it. Thankful for all the smiles, and respect that you all have for my child , and us as parents. I found out through my own research that the owners have worked diligently in the triangle school system for over 40 years! Their love, care & commitment to children shows in the work that they do and the bright smiling faces that me and my child are greeted with everyday. But from the moment I spoke with Ms. Briana (Assistant Director) on the phone I could feel her caring and passion for children. Our son loves his teachers, the food and the activities! Mrs. Toni in the infant room is simply amazing. The staff cares for the children like their own. It’s so comforting getting updates on our little man throughout the day through the daycare app. La Petite is more than a daycare - they are like family to us now!

I wanted to enroll my child in this one (the one that I originally worked in )and they told me that They would not except my child because I was let go from the second one that I no longer work at anymore... I think it was very rude of the dm Adrienne because if it would have been my husband trying to enroll our child how would they know that his wife /my child’s mother was me. I feel as though they still could have excepted my child regardless because it wasn’t like I wanted to enroll her in the one that I no longer work at (the 2nd center in Morrisville ) I forgot to mention to u the under the table mess that the 2nd center was doing and that’s y I would never enroll my child there... I think that they are rude and disrespectful and after I talked to HR about the situation ... someone won’t have a good day tomorrow 🤷🏾♀️... over all the teachers are great but I’m just happy I found a better center to put my child in that’s NOT LPA... and they offer the same benefits for my child at a much cheaper price 🙌🏾...

Caitlin Hollowell: I can't think of a single complaint, and I'm a very finicky mother!! The directors are caring and kind, the teachers are loving and patient. I have a child in Toddler 1, 12-18 months, and they made his transition into this new daycare a breeze!! They serve the kids great food, but I am one of those moms who prefers organic foods, so I bring his breakfast, lunch and snack every day. They serve it to him happily and they also offer him their food, because he was getting jealous of the other kids' plates and couldn't understand why he can't eat their yummy food, too! He's had issues with constipation and bad diaper rashes, and they have been SO accommodating. My husband and I LOVE getting pictures of him all day, seeing how much of what he ate, and how long he slept! We are making a collage of all the pictures of him napping. He is learning so much! Shapes, colors, numbers, animals, songs! He surprises me all the time with what he has learned at daycare. They taught him to sleep on a mat, got him off the bottle, he's a pro at using utensils now, and is growing up to be such a kind and sweet little boy. We love this daycare!! SO much bang for the buck! Ask about employer discounts... if you work at a big company, you might be eligible!
Jennifer Gertz: We've been using this center for almost a year now. They're great! They post pics daily and will call you in the event something happens. The teachers are so sweet and you can tell they genuinely love and care for my little one.
Jessica Gaskin: We've been at this center about 1.5 years. Overall it's a great center, especially for the price. Good communication. Like the app updates on the kids- it's really great seeing your kids having a great day and doing fun things. The staff really cares about the kids.Only cons are that there's lots of turnover in general, but there are some great teachers who have been there for a long time and they are fantastic, and the food quality has varied significantly since we've been there by the cook. I wish they'd have more fresh fruit served.I never have to worry about my kids safety though, always know what's going on with them, and my kids do learn a lot through play and structured activities which is awesome.
Portia Albertson: I moved to the Cary area 6 months ago and would highly recommend that you enroll your child(ren) here. I absolutely LOVE this daycare facility. The staff is wonderful and they truly treat my children as if they were their own. They offer a variety activities, events and programs to engage the families of the children that attend here. I love the clean, open floor layout of the classrooms within the facility because you are able to see what's going on at all times. Their Precious Status App serves as a fast, efficient and reassuring method of communication that not only keeps you updated with everything your child's day encompasses, but serves as a direct contact with your child's teachers also. In addition too, diapers, food, and wipes are provided for infants at no additional cost with hours of operations from 630 AM - 630 PM Mon-Fri; with occasional Parent Night. Definitely 5 Stars!!!!
Adam Hermanson: We could not be happier with La Petite on W. Chatham St. in Cary, NC. The staff is amazing--truly caring, patient, understanding, and loving. They all greet you whether your child is in their particular class or not. I love that they have fun events that bring all families and staff together to get to know each other better. I've had bad experiences with other daycares in the past, but at La Petite I finally feel comfortable leaving my child in their care. I can tell my child is comfortable and happy as well. It's amazing to see how much he has learned. I also love their app that enables me to see his activity and even pictures of him throughout the day. Give La Petite on W Chatham St a try--they'll soon start to feel like a second family.

muddah jones: My son has been here for the last year and a half, and we love it. The teachers have always been so nice and helpful that it truly makes dropping him off a great experience. He started out as the shy kid since he does not have any other brothers or sisters, but that quickly changed. He wakes up each morning excited to get there. The managment there is also wonderful. I have called several times to check on my son as well as just to check on my balanace and they make sure I always have what I need. The few teachers that I have come in contact with were Ms. Casey, Ms. Candis, Ms. Ashley and Ms.Toni. Each one of them always has a smiling face, and they make sure that my son is good. When I walk in they are always engaged and I can tell the kids love being there!!I would recommend this center to anyone.. If you don't believe me simply vist the school.!!
karla gamble: My daughter started daycare because I started a new job and her dad had some training he couldn't miss and me being on 90 day probation period I couldn't miss either! We had toured la petite in September and figured that would be the best place! Her first day I was called and told to come get her in an hour because of plumbing and sanitation issues. My first issue because I couldn't leave work and when I called the assistant Director was very rude and didn't really explain well about what was going on. She instantly got an attitude because I was asking a million questions and put me on hold for 6 minutes I ended up hanging up and my office manager who new this was my first child and that I was terrified to send her anyway just let me go get her! She had only been there 3 hours! She started on a Wednesday and by Friday her father and I had already witnessed a extremely old soiled pamper hanging off her, snot crusted allll over her face which led me to believe they didn't pay her much attention and kids using her cup! Not to mention by Friday night she had a terrible cold and now a little over a week and a half later she has the hand foot mouth disease which started on her butt! The er doctor said that it started there most likely because the changing stations were unsanitary! I'm very upset with this facility and even more scared to send my child back to any daycare! One thing I know for sure she won't be going back to the la petite academy in Chatham street in Cary NC!!!!!!!
D Jasper: I toured 15 different centers before choosing La Petite Academy for my infant son. What I was looking for hen I toured was: the demeanor of the children, the experience of the staff, the condition of the building, hours of operation, and parent reviews. I am happy to give La Petite 5 stars. I'd give them more if I could. The children always seem happy. The staff always have a smile on their face. The center is always tidy.This daycare won me over with how the teachers interacted with the children, the set up of the classrooms, the Precious Status app (Absolutely love this! Puts my heart at ease!), and the fact that they provide diapers/wipes/food.

Michael C.: My wife, daughter, and I had an amazing experience at Busy Bee Preschool! It provided a nurturing and educational environment that supported our daughter’s growth during my last two years of medical school. Ms. Benna and the staff at Busy Bee Preschool went above and beyond to ensure my daughter received the attention and care she needed. They provided a safe and stimulating space for her, and the open communication and text message updates throughout the day made it incredibly reassuring to know that our daughter was in such loving hands each day. One of the things that stands out about Busy Bee is the friendships our daughter made there. She formed friendships with all her classmates, and to this day, she will comment that she misses her friends that she made at the preschool. I appreciate that my daughter’s class had a diverse range of ages, and the social skills she developed during her time is evident. Additionally, she still sings the English/Spanish songs she learned there, which shows how much of an impact it had on her. As a parent, I felt like part of their family too. Ms. Benna treated us all like family, and it truly felt like home away from home every time we visited. We ended up moving away from Raleigh for residency, but we would have continued to send our daughter to Busy Bee Preschool were we to remain in the area.

When we first started it was a little hard for my daughter to adjust to a daycare setting since she was never in daycare before. Ms.Benna was very helpful and understanding during her adjustment. We both worked together to help my daughter adjust to the new setting and it’s been such a great experience! My daughter loves going to daycare playing with her friends and learning new things everyday from her teacher. Definitely would recommend Busy Bee Preschool it has a home style setting and you can really see the love and care Ms. Benna and Ms. Sandra have for the kids there.

I hold an M.Ed, and I a National Board Certified teacher.] Here's my experience:.I visited Busy Bee when we were looking for our first childcare provider for our daughter. I had applied to countless other daycares making skeptical promises of "dream-like programs" that IMHO over-promised. I soon discovered they never delivered consistency and solid foundations of what I believe children really need at this age. If you want a daycare rooted in routines that offer bilingual educational songs, choose busy bee. If you value your child being given the opportunity to simply be a child, to build friendships, learn kindness, come here. I remember all the reasons I loved daycare when I was a child, and it was making friends, singing, coloring and dancing. That's the experience I wanted for my daughter, and I get that with Mrs. Benna, and her staff. Mrs Benna loves each child and takes care of them as if they were her own, my daughter is so much better for having been a part of this daycare, she has improved so much in communicating and development. I am so appreciative of the care and love Mrs. Benna gives and you would be too!
Melissa West: Our twins attended Busy Bee with Ms Benna for a short time before the pandemic. We kept them home during the pandemic, but as soon as we could we put them back in during March 2022. The structure, guidance, teaching and love is like no other place we have found. It's conveniently located in a safe neighborhood, provides home-cooked meals and healthy snacks, provides bilingual teaching for Kindergarten-readiness, encourages outside play time and rotating stations for all types of learning. Ms Benna and Ms Maria love our twins and were the best fit for our family. Our kids have made great friends and developed social skills necessary to prepare them for their next phase in life. We will surely miss this school when our two go to Kindergarten, it's been a second home for them.
Анна А: I can't say enough good words about Busy Bee! We started while I was still nursing and this daycare was a great fit for smooth transition from home and nursing to social environment with "real" food. Now my toddler is thriving there. He has significant progress in fine motor, communication and language skills. He is bilingual and didn't speak English at all when started attending the preschool which was just a few months ago. Now he's speaking phrases. Unfortunately I didn't save his first coloring pages. He didn't fit in lines at all. I'll add 2 coloring pages he did after a few months. What's most important he loves it there. I can say he feels relaxed and safe. When I pick him up he often asks to stay longer)) Also the owner sends me a lot of pictures and videos each day! I can see the lessons and play and how my son is interacting with others when I'm not there. BB is a small daycare that feels like home, technically not 'home' daycare though since they follow all regular regulations just as all other preschools. My older attended a typical preschool (several groups with 20 kids in each). It was a good preschool but I'm happier with Busy Bee due to better environment and care.
Nikki Edmonds: This is the ONLY place to send your littles. I removed my 2 year old from a larger daycare for several reasons. Ms. Benna is absolutely the best. She truly cares for each one of the children like they are her very own. Her daycare is up to code with all safety requirements and is super clean. She also cooks homemade and nutritious meals everyday for the littles. My son eats better than I do everyday. I would not go anywhere else except Busy Bee Daycare. My son has flourish in the 6 months he has been going to Busy Bee. He sounds out letters and sings fun songs that he learns at school all the time. Ms. Maria teaches them Spanish! It's wonderful. She is a delight as well. They make a great team. I love that he is in class with older children. He has learned so much in the environment. He is well loved and take care of- I have zero worries about the level of care he receives everyday and that makes all the difference in the world to working parents!
Laura O'Dell: I moved my daughter from a big chain daycare in Cary to Ms. Benna at Busy Bee. I was nervous to make the switch, thinking my daughter would be resistant to the change, but I had nothing to worry about! My daughter fits right in (ages 2-4 are really a sweet spot) and has been much happier. We love the smaller, more intimate environment, where Ms. Benna can actually keep tabs on each kid. It's been an overall great experience, and I'm excited for her to continue there.
Jennifer Truex: We love Ms.Benna and 5 stars aren't enough she loves every kid she comes across, and the kids love her back, my daughter has separation anxiety and we were nervous how she would take to daycare and Ms. Benna would sit and cuddle with her until she was comfortable to play (which really maybe lasted like 2 second after that we left but knowing she does that gives my mommy brain piece of mind) now my daughter wakes up every day asking if she can go to class and see her friends and "my benna"Anytime we have a question shes just a phone call or text away as well, and will text pictures of my kid throught the day
Christina Pita: Absolutely love this daycare!! I felt so good knowing my 2 year old son was safe all day as we have no family in the area. Mrs. Benna is so sweet and always willing to work together if problems arise with behavior. I have endless good things to say about her daycare. I have worked in a big daycare in the past and I would choose hers over any. Everything is clean and done in a safe manner. The kids all love going there as you see them all running to the door in the morning ❤️ you can’t go wrong!

Beana not only maintains a clean, always well-kept environment for the children but in addition to that she cares for your children like they are her own. She maintains a positive, communicative relationship with parents while providing quality care.I was terrified to leave my child anywhere before Busy Bees. I had complete faith in Beana’s care. Thank you, thank you, thank you Busy Bees for teaching our little one so much! We loved our time with you and hope to return in the future! 10/10 would recommend Busy Bees!!

Mary Neal: Ms. Benna is truly a blessing! It is clear that caring for children is her passion in life. She treats every child as if they were her own. The daycare is a very clean and safe environment. She cooks fresh meals and makes sure the kids a always fed very well. My son has truly thrived and grown developmentally and socially in the 8 months that he's been with Ms. Benna. I couldn't ask for a better daycare provider. I highly recommend Busy Bee Preschool!!!
Liz Buenger: Ms. Bena is truly passionate and loving with all of her children, and it's easy to see how effortlessly they return that love. She is patient, attentive, accomodating, and dependable. The environment she created promotes active exploration, interaction and play. Ms. Bena has many years of experience caring for children, and she also has assistance from Ms. Gloria, who (among other things) teaches the children Spanish! We receive pictures and updates throughout the day and our daughter usually has to be coaxed to leave. It feels like we leave her with family. I can't say enough about how appreciative we are to have found Busy Bee and Ms. Bena.

All day long there is positive reinforcement and education through play and activity. He is two and you can just see how much he is progressing in this environment. My son has really started to develop into a young gentleman and a lot of it has to do with the curriculum and attentiveness that is given to him here, he's always fed (healthy snacks and meals) always clean and never wants to leave when I come to get him. Kayla Seckler: My daughter has really thrived with Busy Bee. She was in a public preschool setting prior to moving to NC so I was a bit nervous about switching to a home daycare, but she is so much more comfortable and really benefits from interacting with older children. Benna and Gloria care so much for their kids and their curriculum is seriously impressive. My daughter isn't even 2 yet and she knows more Spanish than I do! Benna communicates regularly and sends me photos during the day which I love. Kids are always happy. I would recommend Busy Bee to anyone!

After being at Busy Bee for 4 months now, I can truly say that Ms. Benna has been a blessing for our family. She was amazing, and patient, with helping our daughter transistion. Ms. Benna loves all of the kids like her own and sends multiple updates throughout the day to ease the parents' minds. My daughter is thriving and doesn't want to leave "Ms. Nenna" at the end of the day. Malorie Winters: My son has been going to Busy Bee since he was 9 months old (he’s just turned 2). He loves it there! Benna gives them organic food and is very accommodating to his dietary restrictions. They do lessons in Spanish and my son has started using Spanish phrases at home. He loves playing outside on their porch and in the fenced yard when the weather is nice. We’re very happy with Busy Bee.
