The Reaper_Lessa !!!: Yesterday I had to change the tire from my trailer, I talked to a mechanic named Jery. The service from jery was terrible. He lied saying the screw from the tire didn’t come off just so he wouldn’t have to do the service. The mechanic lies and doesn’t want to work. Don’t go there.
Brendan: We will no longer be using Goodyear due to the fact that they BANNED Blue Lives Matter hats, shirts, etc. They apparently do not like police officers nor do they want their business, so we will no longer be using them for all our fleet vehicles either.

Putt Puttn: Online ordered goodyear tires during black friday deal. Tires nice and quiet.I was dreading getting tires installed after really bad 4 hour single tire install ordeal at the walmart on newbern avenue a few years ago. Alvin wrote my install order up and was very professional and a happy person. The two ladies that were also behind the desk were very nice and friendly to deal with. This was a totally unexpected experience after my horrible experience at the newbern avenue store. Walmart needs to take care of these employees because they were just as nice and helpful as the employees I have interracted with at Costco.

Laura Roskowinski: Recently, my car was at my regular mechanic for an inspection and oil change. My mechanic stated that all was well with my car but he couldn’t pass it because it needed new tires. He couldn’t get the tires that day, so I took it to discount tire and my mechanic told me to have a simple inspection done near work (he’s on the other side of town) and assured me everything was well with my vehicle.Fast forward to five days later, my vehicle has new tires and Mr Tire was going to complete the inspection. Well, after leaving the car for 2 hours, I was called and told that it would not pass due to cloudy headlights, “streaky” wipers and an emergency brake that wasn’t engaging properly (which they could remove the tire and “try cleaning the connection to, for the low price of $79). Knowing that these were not issues on Monday and this was Saturday, I told the technician that I was surprised because it had just been given a very thorough once over at my regular mechanic. He told me “maybe I should just take it to him and have him pass it if I know so much.” I angrily hung up and went to pick up my vehicle and paid $23 for nothing. A week later, my car passed with no issues whatsoever. My regular mechanic told me that this was a thinly veiled attempt at a cash grab and that none of the issues they found were valid, and my vehicle was in great condition for its age.This Mr Tire location is simply trying to take advantage of people they assume don’t know any better. The mechanic that day saw two females drop off a BMW and thought it would be a chance to score about $300 in repairs. Nice try!The tech at the desk when I picked up was very nice and understood my frustration, that’s the only reason I’m okay giving them the 1 star I had to to write this review!

Noble Rajanayagam: Took my HONDA civic for NC state inspection at Mr. Tires Auto center #1065 located at 2315 Davis dr, Cary NC 27513.Date of Service: 03/01/2023.Shortly after received a voice message on my phone that my car failed inspection for the following reasons:1.Driver side and Passenger side axle seals are both leaking2. Power steering system shows visible leaks( Leaking power steering pump)I was provided a quote for 753.39$ to have these issues taken care of.I took the car to the local HONDA dealership at Cary for second opinion, since I had the car recently serviced for 90,000 miles service and maintain a periodic service history at the dealership.None of the above issues were reported at the dealership and the car passed NC State Inspection with no additional repairs.I'll leave the judgement to the audience- is it incompetence or dishonesty?

Samir Trivedi: I took my car for the oil change this morning 1/30/23. I was told no deal for the oil change and since I was in rush I agree to pay what they asked. They told me tires will be rotated at no cost. So I requested to ensure tire pressure is correct. After the oil change and my full payment I noticed air pressure warning on dashboard. I went inside and asked them to correct. The guy told me " drive for a mile and it will go away" I knew that was BS and they did not even touch tires forget the rotation. I did not have time to argue so I walked away never to go back. I never write reviews and this is the second review in past 5 years just to warn consumers please don't trust this place and take your money somewhere else and you may get better and "honest" service.
Charles Sergeant: DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Brought our Subaru here for an oil change and instead received a cracked transmission fill plug. No reason for them to touch the transmission except the transmission pan looks a whole lot like an oil pan. Mr. Tire did not make us aware of the situation and we have been leaking transmission fluid ever since. Not only did we pay for them to damage our car we now have to pay for a whole new transmission.We’ve only used Mr. Tire for the past 2 years.Picture is of the transmission fill plug. Cracked in 3 places.Would recommend going anywhere else or just do it yourself. You’d have better luck.
Dyna Moe: I sadly did not have a great experience here. I went in for a state inspection and was told it would be 2 to 3 hours (and was kind of felt discouraged from doing it), even though I overheard the receptionist talk to the the guy ahead of me and was telling him he can wait and it should be quick. In any case, I opted to make an appointment for the next day in the afternoon. I went the next day at my appointment time and was told their machines were down. This was unfortunate, I wish they had called or texted to let me know, so I can make other arrangements. Instead I took time from work to go there and they were casual about letting a customer down. Again, only sharing my experience, I hope others have better experiences.

Phantom Pain: Bryan at Discount Tire in St.Charles Place in Cary was a pleasure to work with. He truly went above and beyond in finding replacement wheels & tires for my Mercedes-AMG which had all of its 4 wheels & tires stolen. He worked closely with me & my claims adjuster to often provide updates and even came out with the equipment to mount the tires on my car, in my parking deck, because no one was willing to tow my car to the shop. And he did this at no extra cost. Bryan helped transform a difficult time for me and made it so much easier for me. Humanity does exist. Two thumbs way up for Bryan and his team - would highly recommend them!!

Then they want to give me we got backed up excuse. Customers don’t want to hear why you couldn’t do the job they want the job to be done whenever you say it will. Time is important to people. It should be to a business as well. First and last experience here.

BIGBROTHERiswatchinU: I was here a couple of days ago. I had a slow leak in my tire that morning so I came by to have it looked at. They were pretty quick and had me back on the road before too long. It has a nail in the sidewall so they replaced the tire. I had purchased the tires at a Discount Tire in another city and had the plan that covers the tires, so the cost for that was covered. They also noted that the shop in the other city had put the wrong size wiper blade on the driver's side. The blade was a few inches shorter than it should have been. They had the correct one in stock and asked if I would like to replace it. I hated to replace a fairly new blade, but I figured why not get more area covered as it should be, so I did. Yes, the wrong/shorter blade was put on at a Discount Tire, but not this one, so no blame here for that. I appreciate that they found the error and gave me the option of fixing it.I spend a lot of time on the road, and being able to stop in at a Discount Tire in different areas with a service record on file even in a town you have never been to is very helpful.

Waited 3 hours just for my car to be pulled in and another hour for just 1 rim and tire and was overpriced and there was a point and time where there was only 1 car being serviced for about 20-30 min. while i was still waiting. Tiffany Cash: I received a flat tire this morning due to a nail so my fiancé and I took it by here to see if they could patch it up or if I needed a new tire. They were so knowledgeable! I ended up getting all four new tires and we were in and out without an appointment in under 1 hour. There is a lot of places to eat near by you could go too while you wait. Reasonable prices as well.

Saleh Mu: This is my first time with discount tire and I am honestly super annoyed right now. I brought my car 8:48 am and it's 11:10 am and my car has not been moved from parking lot to be serviced! I came here 3 days ago to get some tires ordered. Tires came in; the guy on the phone just said come in at any time. I come in and more than 2 hours later! Nothing! I see people coming in and out! Come to find out, those people had appointments for their tire changes; I wish they would have told me that making an appointment would get me outta there faster instead of just telling to come any time, so frustrating. Don't get me wrong , the people at the front are very polite but you need to give people the information they need.. especially if they are a first time customer at discount tire. Also during the buying process no one mentioned about the rebate on the tires till I asked about them today. Great people but lack of transparency/information to the customer.

Next morning i went to this Discount Tire location at Harrison Pointe and was given a free repair, no questions asked. I'm a customer for life! LFG!
V!RTU the Anchor: Brought my brand new car here for a screw in the tire. They did a "complimentary" fix for me since I bought 2 sets of tires here before. Waited 1.5 hours for them to finish and I drove away with the same screw in my tire that I arrived with. Found out the next day after taking it to another tire shop to be fixed (again). They showed me a photo of the screw still in my tire. What did you guys do when you pulled it into the bay, lifted it and removed the tire? This level of incompentcy will have me looking for a new shop next time I need tire work.

They got me taken care of with no problems and even went the extra mile to pick up my out of stock item for a following day service. They were recommended to me by someone who is heavily into cars and I would now recommend them time and time again! They were honest and upfront and their prices can't be beat!

Granted, the back tires have some age on them, but that was not the primary issue. He did not go for the "quick sale" of replacing those tires (as I imagine the typical tire shop would do). I appreciated Hunter's transparency and I'll be back to DT for the replacement tires once the other area of concern is addressed. Thank you for great service DT!

They told me I had 5 nails in my tire! 5 nails on the side of the highway all landing on the same tire? Not Believable!! I was forced to buy a new tire rather than patch it. Fast forward a year. My dad gets a flat. He goes to this place. His tire couldn't be patched either. Dishonest! Dishonest! Dishonest!

Deseree Bell: I’ve been going to this location faithfully for the past 3 years or so. The last few times I went… the experiences started to become shakey. I went to get my routine oil change for an upcoming inspection the next day… Once I went to get my state inspection at AAA I was told (and showed) that I hadn’t gotten an oil change in a while. I was in disbelief and thought maybe AAA was trying to get a sale out of me. So I waited a while since I don’t drive much working from home. Then I went again for my routine oil change 3 months or so later and was told my brakes and rotors were in bad condition I normally trusted these guys because they were always helpful and kind. This time, it was a different guy and I got the vibe that he definitely was in the business of selling and something was off. I called my step dad to confirm. He told me to take a picture of my rotors, when they came off. So I did, (When I asked to see them… literally the whole crew came out to watch my reaction and was shocked that I asked) come to find out there was no issue and looked close to new. Beware and have knowledge or have someone you know to guide you. All this time I thought I was receiving great service, but I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of a few times now. NTB has been my choice for over 6 years and I really don’t want to give up on the company… but this location is over with for me. I hope I get fair treatment at another location. We’ll see…

Neenee B: Listen, the level of customer service I received here today was BEYOND PHENOMENAL!! I got stuck on the side of the road NYE and EVERY tire shop is closing early. I called this location and they were willing to wait for me to arrive (12min) when nobody else’s would wait. It’s pouring raining, I live almost 2 hours away, and you have no idea how much of a blessing they were. When I arrived the whole staff was standing there smiling and greeted me warmly. The building was clean and I was quite comfortable as I waited a very short time for my tire. My tire is so rare, it almost ALWAYS has to be ordered. The fact that they even had it in stock was amazing! I’ll always look up this franchise location in the future no matter where I am, just because of the service I received tonight! It’s 12/31/22 THE LAST DAY OF THE YEAR, and I’m truly Grateful that my experience here was perfect! Adam was the manager on duty and the whole team are just great. I can’t stress this enough! So for you corporate guys that read these reviews- DO SOMETHING SPECIAL FOR THIS CREW! They most certainly deserve it! Jorge Leon: My car was driving perfectly and only needed an oil change, so I went for a simple oil change during the weekend and when asked to the manager if they found an issue he said "everything's perfect", however when I left car was pulling to the right. When I called again Adam said it surely was due to the "tire rotation" they did (a service I never requested). When I came back on Monday the manager Brian rudely said "your car is like that because it has a disc problem" wthat? I told him it was driving perfectly before coming to his shop and showed him the invoice to which, as the jerk he is, he said "I don't care about your invoice, give me the keys and you should be grateful I won't charge you this time". I wouldn't recommend this place and I will not return to this shop again.
Opes Magna: Unprofessional manager. The car was taken for a simple oil check and its ties were misaligned, had to be taken to another shop to be repaired.
Allison Leon: Terrible experience, the manager Brian was rude and impolite at my husband. We went for an oil change and they damaged the tires alignment. When we went back to the shop for them to fix what they damaged the manager was utterly impolite towards us. I would not recommend anyone to come to this shop.

Pam Supa: Oil change took 96 minutes with an appointment. Customer service is garbage. No greeting. There were two soulless bodies giving death stares at me. It was so chaotic that when my car was done and parked at the front, Keon Thompson told me I had to wait until my invoice was complete. No apology. No visible sign of caring. Take your hard-earned money to Costco for Tire, less expensive, life time alignment, best customer service. Black's Tire or Genesis of Cary.
Jayaram Karki: A complete scam. I went there to change all tires on my Toyota Camry. Immediately after changing I notice tyre pressure light on my dashboard. I went there to complain about it and they change the battery on one of the tyre. I was told it should be good once you drive for a while,However the problem never got fixed. The tyre pressure light is still on and the actual tyre pressure on the dashboard never showed up. I wouldn’t recommend anyone here. Go to Costco where they took all the responsibility on their job. Never again !

Tiffany Gall: They did my oil change and tire rotation fine but called to tell me my CV axles on left and right in the front needed replacement. I told them to hold off bc I had not noticed any issues and a CV axle being messed up is very noticeable. We got a second opinion and was shown that both axles are in working condition. I just recommend getting a second opinion/second guess what you are told.
Ann-Marie Wolfe: Purchased 4 new tires in the spring. Had to replace one because of damaging it while driving. Just Tires gave a nice discount on the replacement tire. They are great for a fair price and quick no hassle service.

Matt P: Terrible place. I ordered tires 2 months in advance. Showed up didn't have them. Had to wait a couple extra days and asked for some type of compensation (an alignment). After leaving wheel was shaking, didn't have all my tire caps and not that I'm 5 months down the road new mechanic said the alignment and balance were never included. Trash place, pick somewhere else to get your tires installed because they won't touch my car again.....
Hillary Godfrey: Scheduled appointment online via their website for 6/21. I ordered 4 Cooper Endeavor tires as there was a rebate and free install. Got a call on Monday asking me to upgrade to Goodyear tire or move my appt to 6/22 so they could get the Cooper tires there. I opted to move appt. Showed up a little early, they had no record of me at all in system. Tried to sell me a "better" tire for same price as I was quoted. I asked what tire and they informed me Kelly. I'm a female but knew this wasn't a better tire - wow. I told them no, I would wait for Cooper tires I ordered. THEN they were able to offer me Goodyear tires for same price. I should've trusted my gut at this point to run. Unfortunately I agreed and didnt read reviews first. They said they had to go to warehouse to get the tires but then somehow 5 min later called me to advise they were putting tires on. Upon picking up my car, I was backing out of the spot they pulled it into and all a sudden the loudest clunking and boom I couldn't move. When I got out my car was sitting on my right front tire; which I am 99.9% sure they put on takeoff tires and not new tires I paid for. So they say they did nothing and that my car is rusted which caused my control arm to blow up. My car is 13 yrs old but I've maintained it and replaced parts over the years, AND IT JUST PASSED INSPECTION ON 6/19/22. Ok so then my front driver side door handle comes off. I cannot make this up. I would've just sulked on my own except I saw a VERY similar review from another customer and that makes me sick to my stomach. They did pay for a tow to get my car back to my house bc I was NOT about to allow their techs to touch my car further. I wouldn't take my car here ever again obviously and I would not suggest you do either. Could it be a coincidence, maybe, but wow.
Jitendra Rathore: They only work for money, ready to replace tire quickly and sell you services but when you have flat tire or any issues, they will give run around, as they won't make for it now. I would not recommend anyone. Guys are courteous but just to sell you parts or services, not for warranty coverage.
Susan Mirrielees: I went in with an emergency situation where my tire was going flat. They fit me into their busy schedule and repaired my tire for me. I will return to this business for my state inspection, oil changes, and tire needs from now on.
