Danielle Amos Mejia: The food was not good overall; the yellowtail was sour, and the yakisoba im pretty sure was just undercooked spaghetti sautéed in soy sauce and sesame oil. The calamari was thick cut, no flavor and tempura fried. The hibachi shrimp and zucchini were the only good things that we ate, but even for $32 on the hibachi shrimp plate, it was not worth it.Service was fair, atmosphere was pleasant. I think this would have been more enjoyable if we stuck to the hibachi menu and ate at the hibachi tables.

Mounica Boggala: Went with family for my birthday dinner and the service was horrible. There was an entire piece of blue paper in my mom’s salad and all they did was apologize and say they will bring her another one, but never even did. The food was good but as soon as we all started eating as the chef was done cooking, one of the other servers brought out to-go boxes and plastic bags when we weren’t even close to finishing our food, and was asking us to grab them as we had food in our mouth.

Melanie Lynch: Couldn’t get into Kanki for Fathers Day so we tried Kabuki and were VERY pleased! The service was great, our chef was hilarious and entertaining, and we were sat + served quickly. Only place for improvement was the quality of the food and beverage. I had the shrimp hibachi, which was good quality, but the noodles, oil, sauces, salad dressing, soup and dirty martini tasted like they were bought in bulk, if that makes sense…. Just not as good as I’ve tasted at other hibachi restaurants. I would still go back here over and over again.

Ryan Byrne: I would tell you about the food but we never got any. We were told it was a 90 minute wait then they called me at 7:30pm to tell me my table was ready. At 9pm they told us we would have to wait for another 30 minutes to an hour for our chef to arrive. Their offer to make it up to us was a free appetizer. A free effing appetizer. All parties at our table left and ate at The Shiny Diner around the corner. Tip: if it’s teppanyaki you want, drive to Greensboro and eat at Benihanas.
Brian Boore: Food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and prepared super fast. Prices were a tad on the higher side but the food quality was worth it. Highly recommend.

RK The Trash Artist: Despite the mixed and low reviews, my experience at Genki's was a pleasant one. Our waitress was very sweet and accomdating during our visit from start to end.As for the food, it was honestly delicious!
Cherese Boyd: Customer service is nonexistent. I ordered curbside and there was a selection for extra white sauce I selected that option. No where did it state that the extra white sauce would be a substitution for the ginger sauce. When I inquired about my missing ginger sauce, the lady immediately said it’s gonna cost extra, which is not a problem but the way that she made it seem was that because I chose extra white sauce, I should have known that I would not get the ginger sauce. There is a way to get the information across without being rude. I mean it was only $.82, and if I asked for it, I must be able to afford it. Then she came out with the bill for the sauce, but with no sauce to ensure that I paid the amount first otherwise I would not get the 2 ounce cup of sauce. How insulting

Fresh, tender sushi that held up its shape when grabbed with chopsticks. Good variety of both rolls and nigiri/sashimi. Service was amazing despite me being a lone party of one. Attentive, knowledgeable server who seemed to genuinely care about my wellbeing after slamming multiple of the best priced sapporo I've found in the triangle. Shane Armstrong: Just not what it used to be. I used to eat here at least once almost every week. The food started going downhill, and it never really bounced back. It's not terrible, but not as good as in years past. The sushi used to be a favorite addition for me, but now it's just tiny rolls with dry rice and very little meat and veg. I still go on occasion because it's conveniently located to me, but if I have a few extra minutes, I drive to better options.

I've been coming here since I was pregnant with my first child in 2001 oh, and one of the employees who is very long-term still remembers my name as well as details about things I've told him over the years. The food is delicious, and the shop is clean. They've recently done some things to update oh, and it looks great!Features: Employees wear masks, and they have a shield between customers and employees.
