Elizabeth Mendoza: Carter's is a store that always has something good for babies and toddlers. Unfortunately the store in Costwold closed long ago and the stores are a little bit far from my area. However, online shopping is available and they are very accurate with the orders.

Gunja Gupta: Had a great time shopping yesterday for my son’s birthday dress. But i came home to see that online the same dress was costing 15$ less. I ordered immediately because he needs to wear it on Friday and scheduled a store pick up at this store. Now this morning they canceled the order and raised the online price🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️I mean what the hell? Overnight you change prices? And prices in store and online anyways don’t match. I am so done with Carter’s now… never going to shop with them again and will return the dress I bought yesterday… even if my son has to wear old clothes on his birthday
J P: If i could give zero i would. I understand we are in difficult times with staffing, but communication has nothing to do with that. We ordered item for same day pickup at 7am, by noon i was surprised no email that was ready. Tried calling store multiple times with no answer. At 3pm chatted company asking if store open, what is going on? They responded that ordered would be filled and we would get an email. At 7:15pm emailed the company, again generic response. Emailed again to find out store is closed for a few days. Asked for refund, nope can't do that either cause order is "processing" at store that is closed and they don't know when it will open again. How hard is it to have a voice mail at store that says store is closed? How hard is it for corporate to know/confirm store is closed, how hard is it to issue refund? Apparently for Carters its all to difficult. They are happy to take you money with a single click though...

Maddie Snipes: I am so disappointed in this store. I bought a nice outfit (way more than I’d normally spend) for my son’s baptism. I washed it on delicate cycle per the garment instructions and tried it on him and a button had already fallen off and the seams of the outfit were coming apart with loose threads everywhere. I took it back to the store and they said there was nothing they could do and would not even offer me store credit for an exchange. I cannot spend that kind of money on another outfit and now my baby has nothing to wear to his baptism in 3 days. I will never shop at this store again and I don’t recommend it to anyone else. At this price point they should stand by the products they sell and they clearly do not.

Catherine Byrd: If I could give zero stars, I would. I have 3 young children and had hoped to enjoy some fall shopping today, without them in tow. I was prepared to spend as they all need fall clothes but the women working in the shop continually hassled me about my drink. I am an adult very capable of handling my drink and would gladly replace anything should I spill it or happily help clean it. Completely unprofessional and rude, especially to someone trying to support your small business. I left in tears.

Megan L.: Adorable little shop that saved the day when we were in town for my brother-in-law's wedding. We had forgotten the pants for one of the ring bearers. We called, and they were so friendly, and had a very nice pair of slacks that looked better than the pair we had originally bought. So both ring bearers ended up wearing pants from this store on the big day! Not to mention the staff on the phone and in the person were so patient and kind (I was in a bit of a frenzy, as you can imagine). I would definitely go back if we lived in town!

I can always find something beautiful for my granddaughter and grandson who are becoming picky about their clothes. The gifts are wrapped so beautifully and it's like visiting a friend and picking up something neat at the same time!

Ashleigh Twedt: Please be sure of your purchase! I purchased an expensive bonnet from here and no one said a word about their return policy. I found a bonnet that I liked better at a local children's boutique, Katie Baby, and went to return the one from Fancy Pants. You have to have your receipt and only get store credit and have to return within 14 days. (I did have my receipt and went within the 14 days.) Once arriving and finding out that it was store credit only, I thought no problem, I can bring my daughter back and get her some shoes......I was then told that you can not use the store credit for the shoe store that is INSIDE Fancy Pants. That it is separate even though you walk in one front door for both. I was not happy! They pointed out that the return policy was posted and pointed to it at the cash register. That's great if you check out in that spot. We checked out to the side and so we wouldn't have seen the policy from where we were. They asked if I needed some bows.....not $60+ worth. They told me time and again that the credit doesn't expire, that would be nice if the shop was convenient to us but it is not. It's over 30 minutes from our home. I ended up having to pick some things out just to use up the credit when I would have rather had my money to spend on things she actually needed. I will not be shopping here again and the customer service could definitely use some help! The price of the bonnet may not be a big deal to their normal clientele but it was to this mommy. We will be keeping our fancy pants out of there!

SABITA TALUKDAR: Bought hoodies and some onesies for a 6 month nephew . Had to buy them at full price and just after a month the prices went down. So recommend that shopping be done after Thanksgiving and Christmas at these stores and save at least 70%. And the jackets shrink a little so better to buy at least 1size bigger than the required size

I chose not to donate the left over clothes after the workers gave me just 15$ bucks (an hours salary) for over 40 pieces of clean childrens clothes then decided to donate the rest of the clothes anyway after I chose not to .. never again am I coming back here , disrespectful, unthoughtful and such a waste of time I had here today, terrible staff.

Olivia Han: I love buying clothes here and am a big fan of second hand. It’s organized and well priced! I can get a good condition footie pajama for $3, or less if there’s a markdown on the item. I found a Nike bodysuit in their $1 bins in the front too. I’ve also seen higher end stuff here from Hanna Andersson, Mori Baby, Magnetic Me, and bamboo PJs. It’s never that busy either.The staff is nice and courteous. My favorite thing is you can leave a note asking them to hold something for you if there’s something specific you’re looking for, and it comes in stock!!!If I don’t hand off the clothes to a friend / relative later, I’d totally sell them back to Kid to Kid as well.

Mikiahla Ellis: I’ve been here a few times and it’s usually a great experience but this Saturday around 3 was super unpleasant.First the store was fully staffed from what I could see I saw 4 employees. I stood at the counter for a min while the sales staff was busy talking amongst themselves and doing tasks behind the counter. But I waited patiently. When I returned to the store to get my money from clothing sales; I was greeted by Hotline Bling by Drake playing very loudly throughout the store. If I was shopping at Forever 21 with my kid; cool to be expected, but not at the store that sells toddler clothes. Imagine explaining to a 3 year old who’s getting nasty and smoking as his lyrics state. I’m a Drake fan but not here. Then the young lady failed to provide me the discount you get for purchasing in store; cause I made two separate transactions. But I could not stay to fuss cause the next song was by Latto and those lyrics are much worse for small children.Suggestion: all the staff appeared very young; maybe if an older person were present that would help with some of the poor choices that come with youth

Rachel Davis: We buy 90% of our clothes at Once Upon a Child. They do an excellent job 3ith quality and the kids can pick out things they really love! Kwerky, unique, fun stuff that doesn't match every other style in the store and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. And people compliment them on their clothes all the time. And with the money we save we go on field trips and fun homeschool outings!
Joi Donaldson: Nasty workers! they sat there and watched a girl and her dad struggle to put up a playpen for like 20 mins. Then they only want items that are basically brand new. Gently used doesn't mean used twice....
Andrew Goulet: Best selection of kids clothes in South Charlotte. A lot of the clothes are new with tags. If you sort through you can find high end brands for good prices.

Its just Me: This place is a scam and a half! I had a ton of items that I took to sell because they were no longer needed. Most of the items I had were brand new, with tags and I even had a barely used battery operated Minnie Mouse car. I didn't even get a dollar per item! I sold about 56 items all together and got less than $50. But looking around they had used toddler tops on sale for $8.50 or more, I go over to target or Walmart and get something brand new for that price! Please do not waste your time trying to sell anything here and for the price you're gonna pay for used items you're better off going to Target and buying Cat and Jack clothes, at least with cat and jack you can return their brand to target in any condition and get a store credit
Jen Frederich: Update: clothes are now organized by size! Still a great place to resell your gently used clothes and toys!This shop is a great resource for all families. They have great deals and a lot of toys in excellent condition, as well as clothes. I bought most of my little one's pajamas at this store. PJs are something that can be so expensive new, the footie ones run about $3-4 here. As other reviewers stated, the clothes are organized by colors for some ungodly reason, so it will take some time to find the size you need.As others have mentioned, the customer service is not top notch here. Employees are often having inappropriate personal conversions on the sales floor. They haven't necessarily been rude to me, but not friendly or extremely helpful.One day I purchased a pair of shoes for my son at the store. When I purchased them, the elastic was broken, I returned them without a problem. The next time I went in I spotted the broken shoes back in the shoe bucket. So, that's what kind of service professionals you're dealing with here.One final piece of advice, check the Amazon price on toys before you leave the store. There was one instance that I saw a bouncy chair for sale in the store and it was the same price with free shipping on Amazon.

I understand you guys get busy but if you expect items a certain way the least you can do is put everything back nicely. They also won’t take the time and go through stuff they’ll just pass it by and claim “wear and tear” but they sell busted shoes and clothes with holes and stains on them. I really feel like they’re prejudice.. The store is very cluttered and messy.The manager who use to be a regular associate I remember her has always had a terrible attitude and very insensitive to feedback.

Melonie Crowley: This place is the worse location I have been to, I have been buying and selling at Once Upon A Child for 15+ years. After being instructed that I had to put my items together (I brought in a stroller and pack and play, BOTH items in EUC, and hi-end) they offered me $12 for the pack and play and passed on the stroller… ok that’s fine, BUT no where does it say that the items needed to be assembled when being brought in, no where! I wouldn’t sell ANYTHING I wouldn’t buy. The lady working there was on the phone (iPods) the entire time she was supposed me be helping me and 2 others. The other 2 employees were no where to be found. Maybe if she was more focused on her work and not her call, this transaction would have been better. She also was FaceTiming someone that worked because she didn’t know how to process the items? I will NOT return to this location to BUY or SELL! Get your business in order and maybe have people working there that know the business or perhaps properly train the employees you do have!

Yulieth: Good store but sadly the customer service is terrible. The associate Enamy was extremely rude for no reason while we were paying. Just a very unhappy person who doesn’t seem to have respect for others. We almost didn’t end up buying because of her attitude towards us. Makes more sense to buy things online or go to a different location than going to that store and to be treated in such a mean and impolite way.

Kenny Lincoln: Large signage posted on window of store read “50% off entire store”. Another sign with the same message greets you upon entering.The signs are inaccurate and misleading. Associate told me that you can get up to 50% off entire store.This was misleading information to get customers in the store.I would rather spend my money and time elsewhere without the misleading information.

Missy Burton: Halloween evening around 6pm. I entered store and two female employees were at register talking about playing cameras back. Too much into their conversation for either one to give me 100% of time. When asked the conversion of shoe size for a 6 month old they did not know. Instead of laughing and having fun they should maybe work on learning about how to answer a customer's question about sizes. I also asked about the PJ donation program and they could not answer. If you are asking for donation it would be nice if they knew basics of PJ program.
Cristina: Great store to buy clothes but be mindful that they sometimes close the store and just leave a note on the door. This is the 4th time this happens to me. It is usually in the afternoon. It is 5pm right now and the store is close. The store is supposed to close at 8 pm.
